Sunny Stephenson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe ER staff saved my husband’s life. As soon as we walked in to ER, he went into cardiac arrest. Their swift action and follow up literally brought him back to life. Thank you! Hospital stay was excellentKeijona GossettLike they don’t believe in rounds or updates til there are a overflow of incoming patients. Then you so important to discharge they make u wait in a cold hallway. The doctor asking questions he has all the answers to right in front of him with the paperwork provided for a confused patient. Like really just freaking read then ask accordingly. Just not attentive or concerned at all in my opinion. A beautiful place of disaster and waitShenequa RobinsonIf I could give no stars this review would be more accurate. I took my daughter to the ER tonight around 9pm because she was having an allergic reaction. The first thing that I thought was extremely unprofessional was the fact that they do registration in the lobby confirming your personal info next to complete strangers. The staff shows no sense of urgency when they finally called my daughter’s name 2 hours later it was only to check her vitals. After checking her vitals they sent us back into the waiting room. After getting fed up with waiting so long I asked the staff what we were waiting on he replied”a room” I asked how much longer would it take for us to get a room since we had been waiting for 2 hours already. He replied “there are people in front of you who have been waiting 4 hours.” I left. I am willing to drive an hr And a half away to seek fast courteous service in Lakeland. This hospital is running a Mickey Mouse operation. I’m just glad my daughter wasn’t dying this is beyond unacceptable.Ana CrossThis place is not the place to go. Waited 4 hours for them to tell me nothing was wrong with me and they were quick to discharge me but my problems got worse and I ended up having to go to Orlando hospital to find out something worse was wrong that they didn’t even bother to test me for!george fullerI never write reviews, but I feel that the situation in the emergency room needs to be addressed. I took my 86 year old mother who has dementia to the ER because she was shaking and throwing up and felt horrible. This has never happened before and I was extremely concerned. There were only two other people ahead of her in the waiting room. My mother was very cold and when I asked for a blanket, I was told that she could not have one until they took her temperature. After another 15 minutes where she continued to complain of being cold, I asked again and was told rather sharply the same ridiculous answer. After two hours and STILL no room available, I took her back home because she was so miserable waiting there, and she just wanted to lie down. I just watched an extremely lengthy commercial for Advent Health that reminded me to write this review. MAYBE THEY NEED TO SPEND MORE MONEY ON PATIENT CARE AND A LOT LESS ON MARKETING THEIR BUSINESS!DBM DBMSeen by Dr. Jean-Baptiste. She’s three years out of training and ordered unnecessary testings and treatments on my child. I spoke with the head of the ER, a Dr. Patina (spelling??) who supported Dr. Jean-Baptist’s actions. Dr. Patina stated that at their ER, it is appropriate to 1. order a chest xray on a child with fever, confirmed ear infections, even if the lungs are clear and the child does not show any signs of breathing problems 2. order albuterol and steroids for a child with any form of wheezes. I personally think that Dr. Jean-Baptiste is unskilled at identifying wheezes (since another healthcare provider verified on multiple occasions that my child did not have any wheezes), but Dr. Patina defended Dr. Jean-Baptiste’s exam findings and stated that wheezes can be transient; they can come and go within 15-30 minutes. And if a wheeze is heard, even for a second, it is appropriate to give the child the medications (steroid even), despite the child showing no signs of breathing problems. I asked him if a wheeze is not heard 15 minutes later by another healthcare provider, and the child is not in respiratory distress, how serious are these wheezes?? Dr. Patina stated that since a wheeze was heard, the medications and chest xrays are still indicated. So if you want excessive testings done and unnecesary medication with potential side effects given to your family members, go to FH Waterman ER.Tenley Golden⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I was on vacation, got an ear infection. I was in and out in 45 mins with my prescription. Very nice staff. Doctor was super nice and explain everything.Ron PowellWorst visit ever waited 3 1/2 hours to be seenColombia ColombiaNo privacy they tell your business in front of everyone .i asked for a more private area so other people dont have to listen since everything is so small. then after im being discharged doctor came out and said my buisness right there in front of people she knew i aint want people in my privacy ,to me she did it on purpose .What happened to CONFIDENTIALITY??That was just uncalled for ,second they didnt spell my name right after I gave them my i.d in the front desk .I specifically told them what was wrong with me and got sent home with cream that had nothing to do with my problem so went back home without being treated.
