AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Reviews

Before you go to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Pomona emergency room think.

denise quaranta Every time you come here they have you wait forever. I have a dad with Dementia so I don’t have 5 hrs to sit here with a family member while I should be taking care of him. Will try Hammonton ER maybe next time. Getting ready to walk out with my husband and he isn’t gonna be able to get care.? Thank good it’s not a heart attack or something , although maybe they would’ve seen him?isaiah zaye They are so terrible I came in with so much pain coming from my stomach and gladly waited 4 hours with no medical attention at all. On top of that ppl who came in way after me were getting called before meCasandra Huylebroeck⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was there last night and from the beginning they were great!!! The receptionist was very kind. Can’t remember her name. The names I do remember are Shannon (triage nurse), Jorge (ED Tech), Cassandra (nurse), Amie (my nurse)Ashley (radiology) and Dr Wooden. Every single one treated me very kindly. Jorge is OUTSTANDING at drawing blood. I have a terrible phobia and I didn’t feel it whatsoever. I’m still not sure he actually stuck me LOL I hope I never need er care again but if I do, I’ll definitely go back to PomonaBryan Drew⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had an emergency appendectomy and a severe antibiotic resistant sinus infection (at different times) treated at this ER and I’m still breathing so take that for what it’s worth. Also worth mentioning the staff was always very nice and hospitable. It wasn’t extremely busy both times I was there. 5 stars, would trust with my life again.Kinal Patel⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I have been there few days ago for my dad. They took him very quickly. However, there were snow that day and It very less patients when I went there. The staff was very nice and nurse also very supportive.Bryce Jurkouich ER is very slow people were continuously sent back out to wait as they visibly suffered. The staff offered no explication as people waited over 3 hours to be helpedMike Vettese I was complaining of some chest pain when I went to the emergency room. The only reason I decided to go is because of chest pain was lasting for several days. I don’t usually go to the emergency room and I don’t take going very lightly. I am form them of what I thought might have caused the pain so that they had a better understanding of what might be causing it. The nurse in the waiting area took my blood pressure and did an EKG and everything seems to be normal which kind of lifted my spirits a little bit. That is pretty much when they should have sent me home and told me to come back if the pain persists. But instead they took me back to the emergency room area and proceeded to do what I thought a lot of unnecessary tests. First of all the nurse that took care of me was very nice but she was sloppy and when she first put the tourniquet on my arm she put it so tight it caused me great pain and the veins in my neck popped out and was hurting. They took blood from me to see if there was any heart damage and that came out negative. Then of course they made me wait and wait and wait and I saw two different doctors which I thought was uncalled for. I told them that previously I had a bad experience at a hospital out of the country and my veins are really hurting in my left hand and it was because they were trying to inject something in that made them blow up and almost burst. But later on that evening they insisted that I do an MRI to see if there was a blood clot or something causing some trouble and they ended up hooking me up to a machine which of course had to inject some dye into my veins which I was much grieved about. When they did the test it was fairly quick but when the solution went into my veins my arm was hurting greatly even though it was just a few short seconds. And when I went back they took more blood to do a second test to find out if there was any hard damage. Now I am grateful that they wanted to cover all their bases but I think in their profession the doctor should know when to stop and not just do on necessary tests to bring money to the hospital. As far as I’m concerned when they did the EKG and took my blood pressure and everything came out okay that would have been enough to satisfy me to go home and just wait out this pain to go away. But to be honest I left the hospital and more pain then when I first arrived. That is sad and that is uncalled for and I will never go to this hospital again. This was the night shift like late evening in graveyard shift. Maybe the day time is better. I don’t know. All I know is that I left the hospital in more pain than when I first arrived. And I can tell you that I’m no wimp. I may not like needles but I can endure a lot of pain. And for me this hospital just did a lot of unnecessary things when they could have just sent me home and told me to go to my family doctor if the problem persists. My chest pain did end up going away so I suspect it was just muscle spasms or something of one I overexerted myself on my trip out of the country. It is a shame that we can’t even rely on doctors anymore to give honest opinions. They should know their stuff but I suspect they don’t really know as much as they would like us to think. Everything’s about the IV and everything’s about doing lots of tests. So again I will not be going back to this Hospital ever again.C S⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedExellent servisio … our attention … and the people are gentle and very kindJamie Murtaugh⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Had my face ripped open by a dog and I got stiches on my nose about 4 hours after waiting, but they stiched me up pretty good. Just have a light scar that healed properly.Benjamin Reses⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFixed my cracked head from skateboard injury.
