Anyi GilIs the worst hospital in the world I can’t believe that I waiting for 6 hours with my baby sick with fever asthma and the nurse just gave Tylenol and said when the fever disappear she can go to home And never see a doctor. The staff it’s terrible, they are so rude… definitely it’s the worstJill fallsAbsolutely horrible! My adult daughter went in via police for a suicide attempt. No one examined her, treated her, spoke with her to help advise her. She was release a few hours later- on her own. She walked home!! This is despicable and disgusting the way they treat people with mental health and addiction issues. Your medical staff needs to be properly trained and treat these people like humans. This is my 3rd issue regarding the same issues with different types individuals. Including myself! You are a shame to the medical field. I will be filing charges! Please please if you or your loved one is suffering a mental health or addiction issue do not go here or any cmc hospital. They will not help and have no compassion for anyone desiring mental help issues!Tiffany Kingsmore⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’ve had shortness of breath for about a week so I decided I needed to come to the emergency room. My nurse was amazing. I think her name was Sarah. My Dr. was kind and had so much information for me to assure me everything would be fine. The woman that came and got me for my. X-ray was so sweet so personable. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a pleasant ER visit.David Stansberry⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad eye surgery today and was amazed how great the entire staff wasT.J. AltamuraThis is for the emergency department – A miserable experience. The triage nurse flippantly said my temp didn’t matter when I inquired. I was in the midst of a severe diverticulitis episode with horrific pain and I waited for two hours in the waiting room, on a Thursday morning. They originally had Misdiagnosed my diverticulitis for the flu earlier that week as well. Since I am from out of town I had to use them for lack of a local primary care physician. And during the whole of Christmas week. Three times I visited between the 22nd and the 27th. They don’t even run flu tests in the ER there for some reason so how the doctor was confident with that diagnosis I’ll never know. My pain from this very severe inflammation disorder (it affects colon and kidneys) was a 10 at all times. They prescribed me low dosage pain meds with Tylenol in them (if I understood it right) and cared nil about my comfort. Refused to allow me to have ice chips or a wet rag, even on my third visit after I’d had a CT on my second visit, meaning there was no purpose to dehydrate me. Nurses had attitude, and doctor Yolanda was rude, condescending and forgot to run my urine sample or address my spiking fever. She also said she would up my pain medication, didn’t and actually reduced the amount on the prescription to 5 pills. I had a GI appt on Monday so I needed to manage severe pain not just with the antibiotics but the pain meds and for a whole weekend she gave me 5 pills intended for moderate pain. Instead she had her nurse inject me with morphine which I had told everybody there didn’t work the previous visit but I instead made me nauseous, which I said would occur. Utter lack of bedside manner, empathy and honestly knowledge. Dr Patel told me I could prime rib the day after being diagnosed with the diverticulitis which is completely, dangerously wrong. Worst experience ever, go anywhere else.Kelsey Link⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad a great experience! Staff was very friendly and quick! The staff is very personable and although being at the ER is not the ideal place you want to spend your night the staff makes it totally worth it. I was in and out in record time! Thank you guys!Melody Kimbrell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis ER is awesome, the staff was very friendly and helpful, they got us in a room in record time! The staff took care of my sons broken arm and we were out in less than an hour. Awesome, by far the best experience at an emergency room I have ever had. I highly recommend this hospital. Thanks again!Janet Stewart⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe went to the ER yesterday for a burn treatment. All the staff were courteous and helpful. The Dr and nurses were great.Fedor ChuchkovExpensive services. I spent 1.5h in Emergency with chest pain. Totally $4250. Avoid this place if it is possible. Not affordable prices. Model of business is focused for insurance companies. Racketeers!Reggie Roles⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery helpful and very professional!Allison James⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVisited the ER yesterday. It was just before 8pm. PAR was very professional, took me through immediately. Staff was great, no complaints. After about 90 mins i was good to go feeling better than when i walked in. Sorry if anyone had a bad experience here but all i can say is they are not miracle workers just humans like us but their dedication and compassion speaks volumes. Hopefully i don’t have to go back but if i do, i feel confident i will get the same great care. Thank you to the ER staff Sam Valadez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWent to ER this morning with severe back pain. Staff very polite and professional. We were in and out in less than 1 1/2 hrs feeling better and heading back home. Highly recommend them!Dori RiverEverytime I have gone into the ER of this facilility they have either misdiagnosed me or have sent me home with no help. I have had asthma since I was 3 and that I had came in due to a bad asthma attack I could not manage on albuterol they saw my oxygen level was 98% so they left me in a room for over an hour while im having an attack. The doctor came in an asked if I had anxiety and waiting for me to tell him what was wrong while I’m gasping for air. Afterward they gave me a breathing treatment but the doctor forgot his stethoscope so he did not check my lungs prescribed allergy meds and sent me on my way. Almost a month later I went to Novant health where i was admitted due to severe bronchitis! Go to Novant health they ACTUALLY CARE!Mariel Keyser⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had an incredible experience Tuesday morning when I needed to be seen. Last Friday at an ophthalmologist appointment, I was found to have high pressure in one of my optic nerves and told I could either have glaucoma, a brain tumor, or nothing. I had a brain MRI scheduled for today, but after my appointment Friday, I had pain in my eye that just kept getting worse and worse, so I wound up in the ER on Tuesday morning. Dr. Patel was the doctor on staff, and he was wonderful. He did a very thorough exam, checked my eye pressure (which was normal), reflexes, and was very reassuring that he did not think I had a brain tumor. He knew how scared and nervous I was at being told this was a possibility, however, and worked with their outpatient MRI center to make sure I could get my MRI done that day and not have to wait any longer. We got the results back very quickly and everything was normal! The nurses on staff were amazing as well. They were on top of everything, made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, and you could tell they communicate well with the doctor. This was by far the best ER experience I’ve ever had… FAR better than any experience at Novant! Should I or my family ever need emergency medical care again, we will be returning. Thanks, Dr. Patel and staff!Ted WeekendSo much expensive service, no accommodation if you don’t have insurance. Avoid if it is possiblePeter Shire⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The lab here is staffed by caring professional nurses. They were wonderful helping my daughter during our visit today.Lauren RipleyBeware of many hidden costs! This is beyond expensive and not worth the care you receive.Kristie Duff⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDr. Fox was hands down amazing! He was absolutely wonderful with my daughter! Keith was a wonderful RN as well. I would definitely return.Victoria ChastainMy daughter was having some severe abdominal pain so we decided to go to the ER. Wasn’t sure which one to go between Novant Huntersville and Carolina Healthcare. I googled them both and Carolina Healthcare had the best rating. So we chose to go there. Worst mistake ever!!!! Wait time was awful and the nurses were the worst nurses we have ever encountered. Soooo rude!!!!Please avoid this ER at all costs!!!!!Adesh Kumar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat and fast service.Sabrina Harris⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFastest ER visit ever and the staff was friendly.Yashica Williams⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAmazing staff. Was seen promptly and my privacy was respected. The staff made my feel comfortable and updated and treated my family members very well as they waitedEileen Ball⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedStaff members are efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous. Physicians and Nurse Practitioners listened to me, shared concerns and explained processes. Recommend very highly.prem rajkumarworst experience, had to wait for 3 hours to see the doctor and by that time the pain got better by itself and we paid 150 for nothingAlex SeedsHORRRRRRRRRRIBLE my wife went in there and she was in excruciating pain! Not to mention a 103 temperature and she went there because her urologist said to and they gave her Advil and sent her home she is now in an Abulance for passing out due to pain! I will never bring my kids here and we will never come back here.Glass Halffull⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I was in and out in no time! The intake personnel and nursing staff were efficient and friendly. The doctor on call was Dr. Bissell and he was just as friendly and efficient as his staff. Great first experience with them!Emily IrwinEveryone is nice for the most part, but when you come in complaining of severe abdominal pain, in tears you’re in so much pain and you can’t stand up straight…you shouldn’t have to wait 2 hours. and that’s 2 hours just to see a dr. Not to mention tests, X-rays, etc.The first time I ever came here, it was because my son got a serious scratch and I wanted it checked out: after waiting two and a half hours, we left AMA. My parents are both in the medical field, and I understand places get busy and understaffed, but that’s just not acceptable.David Jackson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDr. Batchelor is an excellent doctor. Patient-centric. Instructive and works with you to achieve desired goals. Would highly recommend him as your general practitioner.Randi Williams⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had a great experience here, the dr wasted no time ordering meds and test that were suitable for my symptoms and took into consideration that it was my second time in the ER within a few days (the other one I went to didn’t do correct testing to detect the problem I was having) Dr. Patel is great!!!!Jasmine MargrenoI went in with a head contusion that I obtained at work. My forehead was gushing blood and I had a large goose egg. My coworkers were concerned that I obtained a concussion bc I blacked out and fell to the ground. It looked pretty nasty. After checking into emergency, not once was I offered ice, which seems pretty standard. After waiting for over an hour, the doctor came in looked at it, said it was a “just a scratch” and tried to leave. Nothing in that area was ever disinfected, I asked for at least some glue to hold it back together and she refused. Any way you look at it, how hard is that? It’s not like I was in there asking for narcotics. Her name is “Dr.” Karen Bentley. Yikes. Terrible bedside manner. It seemed as if she was on another planet. I fear I will now have a scar on my face that could’ve been prevented with proper care. To be clear, I NEVER review anything being in the service industry as I know how one sided things can be, but I am also in the wellness field and the lack of compassion and what I would consider standard protocol were nonexistent. Avoid this place if you can help it. It’s worth it to drive an extra couple of miles. The ChupacabraI have never been so poorly treated by an ER dept as I was here. I had spinal surgery the previous day and my pain was so bad around midnight that I had no choice but to go to the ER for stabilization and then go the Orthopedic hospital in the morning. I explained my situation to the doctor and she demanded several times that I get my ride on the way to pick me up. Instead of helping me she asked 16 times about my ride. I came in in an ambulance screaming in pain so by all means, rush me out the door. This doctor and stuff had zero compassion, zero desire to help me and we’re extremely lazy. They come up with excuses not to treat you. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Worst ER experience of my life. And I had to have my wife wake up our 3 kids at 2 am to come get me because all she wanted was for me to be gone ASAP. Never again and I hope I can save someone else the pain with this review. Go to PresbyJim Peace⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’ve had to use it several times and it’s been one of the best experience when your in pain you could ask for and the service was super courteous with compassion for your needs they are real people!!!!Brittany DAvoid this place. I came to this ER due to abdominal pain and psychogenic seizures. I was not given a thorough examination and discharged way too fast only to end up right back in the hospital. My doctor, Andrea DuPont, prescribed me Lorazepam, telling me and my loved ones that it would “stop the seizures.” Well, that would be all good if I wasn’t pregnant. This medicine specifically states that it should not be taken if you are pregnant. This idiot prescribed it to me. Oh and Idiot DuPont, because I refuse calling you a true doctor, I’m glad you found my experience comical to the point of hysterically laughing as I was discharged. I pray you have your license revoked, if you even have one, and that you never practice medicine again. I will be writing the highest person I can contact to tell of your terrible services.lisa smithI sat for six hours never got seen or anything for pain, terrible staffAnna Speigner⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTravelling and stopped here for necessity, from the front desk to the registration, nurses and dr bissell…ALL were kind and respectful and went above and beyond for my care and i was able to continue on my way.Nora⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis is the best ER by far. They took excellent care of me from the moment I walked in until discharge time.Chad CramerER visits are expensive, but they are even more expensive here. Stay away at all costs! They will overcharge you for anything they possibly can!Tamica NealI would never visit this hospital again. Service is very poor. Dr.Drummond was very rude and was not concerned at all about my husband’s health. I hear alot of bad comments about this facility but had to see for myself. I would recommend this facility to no one.Rebecca MooreJust awful! Unless you are really severely dying do not go to ER off Exit 25 – even then consider the Novant off Exit 23 (only one exit down)! Unbelievable. About 8 ppl walk in after us and have all been called back and we are now the ONLY ppl waiting 2.5 hours later (when the wait time was 30 minutes). With a two year old too – you would think they would at least try…. I understand acuity to a point, but there were people laughing and in no real emergency situations that were being called back. There is no justification for the treatment. We had a 2 year old with an open flesh wound and no one, even the triage nurse, asked if it had been cleaned or tried cleaning it. Absolutely terrible practices.La’Kenya FoxThe service here is a 1. I always go to cmc brand… not here every again … got in at 9:00 took 2 hours to get a chest x-ray never to been seen by nobody til 12 and there were only 2 people ahead of me . when you call the desk to ask how long it will be they give you the same answer “he’s in with a patient” duh I know that… I am not no way impatient just feel I got some of the worst sevice ever!!!Rob Deckert⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCMC-Huntersville is the perfect place to go during an emergency. There is hardly ever any patients there and the staff is super nice. This place is clean, as it is still fairly new, and being that it’s part of the CMC system, I feel they have pretty high standards. They get you in and evaluated really quick. Highly recommended!KaraThis place is awful!!! No one was even here & i had to sit here for 7+ hours !!!!!
