Before you go to Bayfront Health, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Pinellas Park emergency room think.
Chris Jackson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSuper clean facility and great customer service. Friendly nurses and doctor. Unfortunately, and not the fault of the staff but it should be made known that if your wife/mom/girlfriend/female acquaintance etc has any need for ultrasound for pelvic or pregnancy related pain/issues, they do not have ultrasound services between 7pm to 7am and are better off going to the main Bayfront in downtown where they have on site ultrasound and OB service 24/7. Otherwise for everything else, this place is great and highly recommendMSBIZZPRODUCTIONSI went in with a nasty cough, ear aches and feeling weak. They tested for strep and flu and pretty much ruled out everything else to say I have bronchitis. No prescription for antibiotics at all just an inhaler and ibuprofen. When walking out the weird admissions person told me my total was estimated to be billed at almost $1500… Um for what? No one even treated me. Literally the only thing they gave me that was helpful was a doctor’s note… But if I needed a doctor’s note don’t I need treatment? Sad part is I am sitting here now sicker than I was 2 days ago coughing up green, can barely breath, and afraid I have pneumonia. Do not go here. You will waste time money and set yourself back.Brandon WilkinsonYou can come here if you want to sit and wait 45 min just to see a doctor. Then sit and wait 45 min just to get a iv and med. Then sit and wait for a 1hr and 10 min (so far) after the bag is done from the iv to try to leave. Then get a attitude from one of the nurses when you ask who the doctor is for my wife because i have been here for a hr with her and still do not know who her doctor is or what meds they gave her. I do not recommend coming here.Roy Hemion⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI brought my brother here after taking him to St. Pete General who did the absolute basics only to comfort him. He has developed a condition which is cyclical vomiting with major pain in the abdomen and it’s been going on for over a year. I finally brought him here to Bayfront Health and ER in Pinellas Park off Gandy Blvd just off exit 28 off 275 where it seems the staff and doctors here operate on a more personal level. The questions they ask and the general attitude really help confidence in believing people still care about others and just as important is they maintain a thorough professionalism not seen at other facilities. I can only hope for the best outcome but that outcome depends on what they find or not find after the CT scan and bloodwork comes back. I came here at 8:15 am…..I walked in and within 10 minutes, my brother was in a Room getting IV fluids. I highly recommend the clean, fast, and professionalism at Bayfront Health in Pinellas Park.Virginia Thompson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Everyone was wonderful and very helpful in diagnosing my extreme cough. However even though they took my insurance card they billed the wrong provider. They billed my old insurance company and now I’m receiving bills. Hopefully this will all get straightened out. They called and tried to talk to me but I thought it was fraudulent so I was afraid to give any info over the phone. How can you call someone that you have seen and received their insurance card and ask them if they have or want insurance. They sounded more like they were selling insurance. I was very confused. Thankfully, after that call, I figured out that I went to the ER in Pinellas Park. Too many companies using third parties to claim money and not fully identifying themselves. When I asked the person calling me to identify the services provided they couldn’t even do that. How can a person pay or correct anything if they are not even sure they went there. It sounded so fraudulent to me I hung up. However I will straighten this out now that I have figured out where this bill actually came from as I always pay my bills.Pamela SmithThey have one of the rudest doctors on the staff his name is Dr Papondreau he is lacking empathy and everything in between he said nothing we can do go home and let it run its course but my throat was swollen and I have a ear infection but he did nothing I will never come back here again….. Just go to a real hospital cause this place is a jokeLaura Stroof⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery great service. Thanks to Dr Apple and the wonderful 2 nurses for your help. We would always come back!!!Jamie McKeen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had to go to this ER in August 2019 due to severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting. I chose it because it had decent ratings and was close to my house. It was a great experience. From check in to check out, everyone was very respectful and ran through the proper protocols when a young female comes in with symptoms like I had but they were honest and upfront. Got imaging done right away. Listened to me when I told them what usually works to fix my problem (it was a reasonable request of toradol) ultimately there was nothing they could find wrong, but that’s something I’m used to. thank you guys for not writing me off and investigating my pain!Ashley lER doctor was super unfriendly and seemed like she had better things to do when the office was completely dead. All the others staff there were super friendly and I was having such a great experience because I was able to get right in, but now I won’t be going back.tppsync pdi⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe nicest people I’ve ever seen work here. It was a fun experience, quick service, smells nice, clean, great atmosphere. Greatly recommend!Kat⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went in to see them about a few symptoms and the pleasant experience started from the kind man at the receptionist desk who was very warm and friendly. I was seen in less than 5 minutes. Dr. Saleh and Pedro were very kind and attentive. The women nurses were so helpful and compassionate they helped me throughout my experience and gave me the necessary meds to help my condition. Overall the place has a team that genuinely cares about sick people and do whatever it takes to make them feel comfortable and get to the bottom of whats wrong. I am grateful that i chose this place to go to.Tyler McCall⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI walked in not feeling well at all and staff at the front was very efficient and compassionate getting me checked in and took me to a room right away. The nursing staff was in very promptly with me to get my vitals and prep me for the Doctor to come in. Dr. Ryan come in very quick and was very knowledgeable and made me feel as if I was getting the best care. I got my shot and checkout all in under 30 minutes which, to me is very impressive for an ER.Ellen Buerkett⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAmazingly fast and efficient! Had a wonderful ER experience – was triaged and saw a doctor within 10 minutes. Hopefully the need doesn’t arise again but if you need ER care this is the place to go!Robert Landis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTook my 88 year old mother, visiting from out of state, to be checked for dizziness on a Saturday. We had a very positive experience for the following reasons: 1. Plenty of parking including handicapped accessible. 2. Automatic doors leading into the facility. 3. No wait time on a Saturday afternoon! 4. Very clean, new facility. 5. Fully equipped facility including lab and x-ray including cat scan. 6. Open 24/7. 7. Very pleasant, professional staff. 8. Facility is well staffed with plenty of professionals to support. 9. Quiet, calm atmosphere inside the facility. 10. Public internet available while I waited for them to perform a cat scan. 11. Easy check in and paperwork process. 12. Provided excellent care for my mother. Needless to say, I would not hesitate to return to this facility. They have all of the capabilities of a hospital emergency room without the hassles of visiting a big hospital.Eduardo Calixto⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThank you guys for showing me that there are kind people that work for bayfront health.. had me in and out no time..Rebekah Davila⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVisited the ER today unexpectedly after experiencing some mysterious pain that I needed to find the source of. I called Bayfront downtown and they recommended I come here because there was 0 wait time. When we arrived we were quickly greeted and checked in. No one else was waiting. We were brought to our room about 5 minutes after walking in the door. It was very clean and everyone was so nice. I worked with Lori as my nurse, a delightful person who made what could be come ackward questioning easy and light. She said Dr. Ryan would be in shortly but the Dr. actually was ready and walked in even before the nurse left the room! She spent 20 minutes with me going over my issue, testing and talking to make me feel comfortable. She even was nice enough to look at my knee and do a separate test that I wasn’t there for because it had been bothering me. Dr. Ryan said I needed an Ultrasound and that tech arrived and completed their test within another 15 minutes or so. All in all, the service and staff were amazing and I HIGHLY recommend this location. They’ve only been open for about 4 weeks, but it’s clear that Bayfront has staffed this place and set new processes to position it successfully. All the thanks to Dr. Ryan and Nurse Lori!!!!! 10/5 stars!!Faith Johnson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff is efficient, knowledgeable, compassionate, and courteous. I was taken in right away. No waiting. The nurses, technicians, Doctor, intake and check out staff are all first rate!! I am so happy to have a wonderful facility located close to home in Pinellas Park, FL!!!!The Beaster 44⭐️⭐️I took my boyfriend here because he needed insulin he is a type one diabetic and the young male “doctor” was questioning him like my boyfriend was trying to get narcotics! Then he proceeds to argue back and forth when we both were trying to explain the necessary medications for a type 1 diabetic.. Since when does a doctor not know what a type 1 should take to stay alive? Nurses were sweet though.Blau A⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWas amazed at how amazing all the staff are at this ER. I was the only patient here at the time but this location just opened so its not busy at all. The Receptionist, Security Officer, Nurses and the Doctor was so polite and friendly. The Doctor was very thorough and showed compassion, something most doctors lack. I will come here for any emergencySiddu KThis place does not provide any information related to money being charged. This place does not even send itemized bill before defining a deadline for payment. If u need an itemized bill, you are required to explicitly ask for it meanwhile they send ur case for recovery teams and put ur credit at risk. Patient is kept on blind side with respect to money.Kitty Kimberly⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThank you, Girls! I came in around 3 am Tuesday night for fever, stomach problems and a severe headache. You guys ran all the tests you could, without me asking for them (something people dont do when you’re 22 year old female, they always think you’re being over dramatic) you guys let me ask questions without feeling silly and even comforted me. The staff was on me like bees on honey and I had a 0 wait time. I feel so grateful to you! You transferred me to a main hospital after 3 or 4 hours of tests and I’m still here, few days later. Turns out I have kidney infection that turned septic. But I’m making a fast recovery! Thank you again! When I have another emergency (hopefully never), I’ll be sure to use you guys!!!Zoe⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFast and efficient one of the best hospitals I’ve been too, they really care for your well being and honest with you I definitely recommendCortney Hatchette⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was unaware this ER was there until I happened to be driving by one day. Last Thursday, I brought my daughter here because it was closer than All Children’s. She had been having intense abdominal pain along with vomiting and diarrhea. We were taken back right away – there was no one there so this wasn’t surprising. They started her on fluids as she was dehydrated and took blood. She was given a shot for the nausea but continued to throw up. After the first bag of fluids, she was still complaining of stomach pain. Doc told us it was some sort of stomach bug and they’d seen plenty of it there. He told me to take her home, keep her on clear fluids and bland food for a few days. To me she seemed to be getting worse – she rarely cries when in pain and was writhing around and hyperventilating because of the severity of the pain. A nurse came in to give her more fluids and that is when I asked what they could do for the pain. She felt my daughters stomach and her face told me something wasn’t right. The nurse left and brought the doctor back. He felt on her stomach then told me she needed a CAT scan. It was sort of a long wait, at least it seemed that way. About 2 hours after we got there, she finally received morphine for the pain. This took the edge off the pain quite a bit but the nausea and diarrhea persisted. Finally they told me she had appendicitis. They started her on antibiotics and arranged for her to be transported to All Children’s. I want to thank all the nurses and the doctors for taking care of us while we were there. I appreciate how they listened to me after I insisted that she wasn’t presenting as someone who had a stomach bug. They heard me and didn’t dismiss my concerns. Thank you all so much!Leslie Loske⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’m normally not one to post a review but I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to not share my amazing experience with Bayfront Health ER in Pinellas Park. I went to the ER last Saturday at around 11A with some pretty nasty 2nd degree burns on my legs (bad sleepy time tea accident). I was seen immediately! Zero wait what so ever. I was wheeled back and greeted almost instantly by my nurse (I unfortunately forgot her name or else I would give her a shout out) after the normal triage questions, Dr. Ryan came in and accessed the situation. She made me feel comfortable and at ease during that painful time. I was given the best care by both my nurse and Dr. Ryan! I would recommend that facility to all of my friends and family if they were to ever get into an emergent situation (God forbid!)RadicalHorrible hospital. My father went there after having a bike accident, resulting in his shoulder clearly being dislocated. When he got settled in his room, a doctor came in to check out the situation. Not only was the doctor rude, but apparently he assumed my father was faking it. Saying “Are you making it like that?” After all that, they did an x-ray, strangely nothing showed up. The reason being that they confused him with another patient. Along with that, they kept him over night, and refused to give him food, as they thought he was someone else. Wanna know what’s funny? They never fixed it.Maria Esmeralda Campos⭐️⭐️Only reason for 2 is because of the pleasant staff and clean facility. If you have a baby and you are able to go to Children’s hospital, do it! First time parents and we were scared so went to the nearest but not best. Poked and pricked baby after their flu test wasnt working. Guess what, it was the flu. Baby missed Theraflu window so thanks. Also, they said they would send it for retest and nothing. They said they got cultures but 48 hrs later, nothing. For adults may be great but for children they need work. And for something as simple as the flu test, needs more work.Vera Rusk⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery professional, friendly and thorough, no long wait. If needed will definitely go back.Tabatha Spence-Hall⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNo wait, four medical professionals greated us after we were quickly taken to a room! All the staff was professional and friendly. Genesis at the front desk was awesome! My husband came in barely able to walk and she noticed and brought a wheel chair out to us. He left able to walk normally and in much less pain. Thank you all so much!!!Jeremy King⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFrom Courtney King… My first time I stopped here this morning! I happen to see this sister bayfront ER facility(pinellas park), driving by on my way towards downtown st.pete going to bayfront hospital’s ER. What a God send seeing this! The facility is brand new & beautiful. The staff is super sweet & funny. And the timing… for my specific need, I was in & out with what I needed! This is my family’s new “go to” ER.Kierra Thomas⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe Doctors and nurses here were extremely nice ! i was in and out within an hour ! the office is nice and clean as well ! this office will always be my go to from now on !Tammy Whitney⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNice hospital fast and friendly stop by for all ur emergency’s Otelo Vizcaino⭐️⭐️The place was super clean and orderly. Our nurse was fantastic … but the attending physician, Dr. Hunt, lack any bedside manners, had zero empathy, asked zero questions, and was less engaged than the Purell hand sanitizer pump on the wall. In spite of the excruciating pain my wife was in, and the repeated times we brought it up, it felt as if she didn’t even hear the words or acknowledged her patient. My backpack offered us more confort and support that Dr. Hunt did during the 2+ hours we were here.Doit Really⭐️⭐️They won’t treat just any one real picky who they will helpMatt Coombs⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy wife was having some chest pains, they had her in a room with no wait time. The staff was awesome and they got her treated quick.Tessa Lawin⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI would recommend this place to any and everyone!! They were fast and wonderful!!
