Cadillac Hospital Reviews

Before you go to Cadillac Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Cadillac emergency room think.

Allen Meyer⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI just spent 1 week in the hospital. The care I received In Cadillac from every aspect was service above self. The quality of care was excellent I have lived in this community for 35 years and have heard enough criticism. We should feel proud and happy to have our local hospital. Very thankful. Allen Meyer DVMTammy Stacey Your wait time is beyond what it should be 2 hours in waiting room and still counting. If they are that busy maybe they should hire more help. I realize that there are emergency, but you should be better prepared and have enough staff to cover them. Will never come here again.Shannon R⭐️⭐️Mediocre hospital. Sometimes you get friendly staff, others not so much. Wait times are forever, even when the hospital is not very busy. ER nurses always talk about their patients in their main area, where all patients are able to hear. They also don’t always seem to care about their patients.daulton48⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis is the second time in a few years I’ve gone to the hospital in the middle of the night while we are visiting for vacation. Today I tried my hardest to wait to go to the clinic when they opened but was up all night with a full blown bladded infection and in extreme pain and discomfort. The woman at check in were so kind and fast at getting me back, no sooner did I have a bracelet on and the Nurse was already bringing me back and taking a sample from me to test it. I checked in at 5:20am and was discharged with antibiotics and bladder relief medicine by 6:30. The doctor was thorough and fast and a few hours later I’m already starting to feel better. 10/10 recommend and they were so kind and understanding even though I kept telling them I know this isn’t an emergency and I tried my best to wait for the walk in clinic to open but It was un bearable and I was up all night in pain. Thank you so much.Kim Lucha This is the worst hospital ever tbry Mark you wait out in the waiting area for over a hour because they have to do a central line well it shouldn’t take that long to do it i dont see how thry can make u stay out being relationMs Grandma Very poor quality care. In ER with granddaughter after a car accident, over 2 1/2 hrs, still haven’t seen doctor. They did CT scan but can only give partial results? Is it a doctor on staff or nurse practitioner? 2 different things were said by nurses. This place sucks. No real care here!Donna Coykendall I had a catheter put in at TC Munson yesterday ,Aug,5. Keep in mind that going to Cadillac Munson is twenty-five miles and to go to TC is about sixty miles. All I need is to a catheter unplugged from a blood clot in the cath. The girl that answered the phone in the emergency told me to go back to the emergency at Munson TC. She told me to go back there because they don’t know what type put ine. Why is there a hospital in Cadillac. Which my experience in the past few years all they do is send to to TC by ambulance that costs six hundred to eight hundred dollars because it seems they don’t know what they’re doingHeatheN. Farr-Jenema⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went in for a MRI. Everywhere online claimed that I didn’t need to remove my titanium daith piercings for a MRI scan on my brain. That is not correct and they had to come out. This would be the first time they would have been removed and made me quite anxious. One was still quite sore. My radiologist Stacie (sp?) was nice enough to help me and even nicer when she sought someone with daith piercing experience. Beth! Nurse Beth (A. I think)! I cannot thank her enough for coming to my rescue; For pulling them out of my head, for pretty much carrying me to a chair, for sticking around to put them back in, and for guiding me to the front doors. I feel awful for running out on our conversation there at the end. I’m sure we woulda been friends. You’re definitely my hero! lol. Thanks again Beth! By the way, my piercing has never felt this good. You fixed it even! 😉Kathleen Hill⭐️⭐️I am appalled at the lack of professionalism. I was in For a cardiac stress test. First it took them 4 tries to start an IV. Then they LEFT meAnd FORGOT ME in the process, it was freezing cold I was shut in a small stress test room an after 40 minutes I opened the door and found the doctor sitting at his desk playing on the internet!!! I asked if anyone was ever gonna come and hook me up to the EKG? Although they apologized, It was just wrong!!!Mark B I hate going to hospitals and doctors, let that be known for the review. I’ve had a ton of surgeries through my life. This hospital hardly listen to its patients. I’m not sure if that’s new laws or they dont care. I like the sign on the hospital that says they are too 10. This is the worst hospital and not very knowledgeable on much of my medical problems. I thought these people did some kind of schooling.Theresa Husak⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Very impressed with Theresa on Fri night in ER. She was very thorough and explained everything very clearly.Lasia Lynn Sent my 1 year old sister home saying she had a virus & to let it pass . 24 hours later she was pronounced dead due to something that WAS NOT A VIRUS. Negligence killed my sister at the emergency room .Bill R⭐️⭐️Mediocre hospital, staff are sometimes kind and informative though. Wait times are as long as can be, even when they are not busy.Lin B⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy experience at Munson Cadillac’s Maternity Unit was amazing. All of the nursing staff was wonderful, and reassured me I was doing great. They were excellent with caring for Atreyu and I. My OB, Dr Franckowiak was on call when I went into labor and I chose for him to perform my C Section over transporting to GR and having MFMs on call perform. Amazing doctor, very supportive and made us very comfortable. Our relationship with Dr Franckowiak, the maternity nurses, and the Cadillac OBGYN is more like family than business after our experience. Highly recommend.Mr. Graywulf⭐️⭐️⭐️Not bad for most issues , however, if you feel you’re in major distress, be advised that their lab is not equipped to do some blood work tests. So, if you feel really really bad, head up to Munson hospital in traverse city to save your self time and pain. For routine stuff, it’s goodJosh Smith Way overbooked. Stuck in a waiting room with a newborn screaming an hour past our appointment because their registration was too busy. They are all rude and treat you like an inconvenience to them. Then we get different directions from 3 different nurses on what we are supposed to feed our newborn before his operation. I would suggest going to a different hospital where you will actually get the care you deserve.Holly W⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad surgery . Very kind, attentive , explained everything in a way my husband and I could understand. Felt safe and just in good hands my nurses are amazing and my dr (dr Long) plus the surgeon and other doc. I have anxiety and am not easy to deal with and not easy get me to see any doctor. I’m glad I did and Dr. Long and his staff are amazing. In not scared to see a doctor for once in my life. So THANK YOU DR.LONG and staff in his office and staff at the hospital ive had pleasure of meeting . HollyRichard Rundquist Change ur Coffee, and I did not see a Doctor , just nurses, there busy and over worked. Ya what is it with the saline solution, has it turned to gold and I don’t know that. Got one bag they said they would hang another one, never did. Just get it together.Drew Flynn Been in for like 4 hours, still in though. Never got offered a drink or any snacks. Lab results should have been back after an hour they said. It’s been 3. This place is not a good hospital! Very bad hospitalLaura Sisco⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe have spent many days in several different hospitals all over State with our parents. This has been, by far, the best, most professional, and caring staff we have had yet. I have never seen at any point any sign of being under staffed. Each nurse, doctor, and support person has taken their time to speak to us and give us all the information we needed.LORI GOHM⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCould not have asked for a better hospital thanks Lori rRousseJ Smith⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’m from canton MI, THANK you all for being so nice and carrying. You saved my kidneys and stopped my heat stroke. For that I can’t say thank you so much . Cadillac hospital you saved my life …. bless you allSara Tumath⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had to go to the ER with what I though was a gallbladder attack and I sat in the waiting room for maybe 2 minutes max after I filled out the paperwork. After a couple tests the doctor determined that my gallbladder was perfectly fine, so he ran a few more tests to find out what was wrong. Come to find out, it was a severe stomach ulcer. What impressed me the most was that he didn’t just let me go after finding out it wasn’t my gallbladder, that he cared enough and took the time to find out why I wasn’t well. Not only was the doctor caring and professional, but the nurses too. I don’t understand the bad reviews for this hospital. I would rate it more stars, if I could.Rob Swanson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFive stars for the staff, the hospital needs more of them though.Mary Henry⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy husband has recently went into the Oncology department for the past 9 months. What a fantastic group of employee’s. From the receptionist , nurses and Dr. Word the Oncologist. There is not enough stars to rate this hospital. Last December the ambulance brought my mother in and she died in the ER. I would have never gotten through losing my mother if it wasn’t for the compassion of the entire staff. A few months later I brought my dad to the ER and he was admitted for breathing problems. Of course the treatment to my dad from the ER staff was no different than before.. It was so much caring and compassion to him. Once he got to the floor the PCA and the Nurses were so much concerned about him as we were. As you can tell I’m the one that would say to anyone. I would for sure come to this hospital and send my family as well. Keep up the good work.Friends Of Eaton County Parks⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNo one loves going to the hospital for an emergency, especially when living out of town. I have to say that I received swift, thorough. caring service as well as clear follow-up instructions last weekend. I continued to be impressed as I called the records department today. I requested that a copy of my records be sent to my primary physician in the Lansing area. Again, clear, polite and swift processing occurred. Thank you Cadillac Mercy!Annette Ferris⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBest ER experience ever! We were vacationing in the Cadilac area from out of town, when my elderly mother contracted a respiratory virus. We went to Cadilac Hospital ER and the ER administration staff quickly took her med info, and was courteous and patient even when my mom didn’t know her social security number. Thankyou Bev for your kindness and professionalism! The nursing staff brought her quickly into the exam room with only a few minutes to wait in the waiting room. My mother was frustrated with herself that she didn’t have her medication and allergy list available (due to all her info is in another hospital system out of town) but that didn’t deter the nurses to kindly, respectfully and patiently acquire the information they needed to care for her. The Dr was also professional, kind, attentive and thorough as he ordered an X-ray of her lungs. A respiratory specialist also came to help teach my mother how to use her inhaler (that was previously prescribed by the primary physician back home) and the therapist answered all my Mother’s questions exceeding our expectations. While we waited in the exam room for the X-ray results , a hospital volunteer graciously asked if we needed anything, she directed me to the restroom and then later brought me fresh hot coffee!! The X-ray report came back quickly and the Dr prescribed the appropriate medication and encouraged my mother if she didn’t feel better in 2 days to come back. In all we were at the hospital 2 hours which actually didn’t seem that long. Very impressed, again it’s about the caring professional people! 5 Stars!! MizzNurse Along with my discharge paperwork, I received someone else’s. I work in the medical field. This is very bad and is a HIPAA violation. I should have never seen this paperwork.Cassaundra Laster⭐️⭐️10/10/17 My first time in this hospital I’m not from this area I’ve just moved here. My infant was sick and needed xrays. There were barely any patients but a ton of doctors and nurses sitting around chit chatting while my sick infant sits in a room for nearly 6 hours without even being seen. The staff is rude and ignorant and irrogant stuck up and snotty rude and obnoxious. Next time I’ll drive the three hours back to my hometown!!! Never again.Adrienne Brownell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone; from when I first walked in the door to exiting, was curteous, kind, and informative. Care was rendered in a professional and quick manner. I would be willing to go back, “in a heart beat”.Amanda Eisenga This place is a jokeAnonymous I’ve been in the ER nearly 4 hours now for discharge one week post hysterectomy surgery. I have only seen the PA and for the past two hours no nurse or anyone has come by. I called a nurse in because they were unsure if they were able to give me a pelvic exam this early into recovery and I was trying to relay my obgyn information to them. Nothing since. Almost positive the confused nurse didn’t relay any of the information. I’m dehydrated and drinking water from the sink. Very disappointed and saddened that they are not caring for patients. I’m left wondering still what is wrong and contemplating walking out!Tami Prescott I was at the Munson Health care Cadillac Hospital 8-8-17 at about 11 pm in so much pain, I was sure I was going to die. I seemed to be their only patient other than a man with chest pains. They did a CT scan and found I had an infected gall bladder. Now I’m no doctor but you got a patient in excruciating pain and an infected gall bladder, you do something with her right? Everytime I mentioned my pain, the red headed nurse rolled her eyes at me! No, they gave me a script for 10 ultram and told me to call the doctor in the morning. I called the doctor and they said I could come in to his office in 2 weeks!!!! OMG Needless to say, I went up to Traverse City Munson Hospital, got an ultrasound done on my gall bladder and they took it out the same day and were very nice about it.. I was done wrong by Cadillac staff and they owe me an apology, No thanks to them, I survived the gall bladder attack.theyearruhouston theyearruhouston⭐️⭐️⭐️Caring service as well as clear follow-up instructions.Halie Howard⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The ob nurses and doctors are great but I feel the E.R doctors push you off and there aren’t enough staff to supply the needs of Cadillac any moreAmber Ciacelli Went in yesterday to the ER after falling at work. I figured it was just a sprained ankle but work requires me to get seen. everything was going good except they wouldnt let me use a wheel chair and had me walk between triage and the waiting room on my ankle that i could bearly put pressure on. got my xrays and then they some how thought that a twisted ankle meant that they had to ultra sound my breast. then no one looked at my actual ankle just sent a tech to wrap it and give me crutches. i asked about work restrictions and explained my job and all they said was i dont know.Kelly Bouwman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAmazing staff!!! Very caring towards my injuried 7 yr old little girl!Judi Moon I am not impressed! I care for my mother who has dementia, I missed a diabetes education class, sorry life runs me over occasionally, since then I have been treated with attitude. You wonder why people don’t want to come in there, I do not need your rude attitude! You do not know my struggle or what I am facing! I didn’t need this, thanks for making me feel like scum.Belinda Parsons I was admitted to Munson Healthcare Cadillac twice in the last six months, My first visit was in November for emergency surgery, and I was in there for about ten days. The staff was kind and helpful, and after three weeks in rehab I returned home. I was again admitted again in late January for a sudden illness, taken to the hospital by ambulance. I did not have a chance to take my medication list, but told the staff they should have it on record, and I knew what I took,, a combination of three pills. A nurse told she got my records, and went over the list with me. The list of medications she had was a long list of meds, including synthroid, depakote, and dilantin. I told her I was not prescribed any of these pills. The staff continued to pass me some of these meds, particularly the depakote for the next three days, even though I told them I had not been prescribed it, asking me if I were refusing it. I felt I wasn’t being taken seriously, and felt patronized. I was also told that the depakote was on the list I had to ask them to have my PCP send over. I asked for a copy of the list they sent over. Depakote was not on that list. This kind of error should NEVER happen. If I had been in an accident or unconscious and not able to speak for myself, I would have been given a cocktail of drugs that would have affected my moods, caused tremors, and a host of other adverse side effects. I am thankful I had the ability to always ask what medication the nurse was trying to pass me instead of blindly taking the pills just because they brought them in .Brittany Pattee Worst care possible, unfriendly staff. They are very unprofessional had the nurse try and rip my underwear off when I was getting an im shot. In severe pain in my lower stomach and they would only do one test and refused to do anything else. Left me with no answers and still in a lot of pain. They answer was to discharge me and told me to go to grayling er if I want to be checked out again, or if I want an answer to what’s been going on for a week.none ya Went in er and in pain they tried to give me high dose medicine thats hard on my only kidney and they go to give me a shot and oral medicine and shot put me In 3 times the pain I’m late and cramping dizzy nauseous for weeks and can’t think clear and they told me obgyn wouldn’t see me.. Even though I’ve had to have a couple of emergency surgeries so I wouldnt die of my blood backing up in me along with most my female organs out but I have no reason… This place is a joke now I loved mercy hospital sad it switched and its just about money and get out of their er with minimal work for themSoldierhavingfun IRL Had a work injury. The staff was unfriendly and seemed confused on how to handle anything. Would’ve gone somewhere else but workmens xomp sent me there.Melissa Schultz Beware medical price gouging. Buyer beware. When you have a medical emergency, it’s not often the time to check your hospital or facility to see if you are getting the best prices. Your main goal is taking care of the emergency in a timely fashion and prevent further injury. Many times, it is difficulty to ascertain whether you are getting a good deal or not. Many of us just hope for the best when the bill comes. Well, last March, I had an emergency. I went to an in network urgent care because of a sore throat, and ended up being sent to an ENT for an emergent tonsillar drainage of a peritonsillar abscess. I tried to be referred to an ENT in our medical network, but no one was available. I ended up going to an out of network hospital and doctor for this procedure. Two weeks later, I needed a tonsillectomy. Not wanting to start over with another physician in another region we decided to stick with the ENT that did the tonsillar drainage. It was pre approved with our medical sharing company even though it was out of network. We hoped for the best. The hospital experience was fine, and I have no complaints about any of the medical staff. Everything went according to procedure, I was discharged shortly after my stay. Two months later, we started receiving bills and it wasn’t pretty. I paid the surgeon promptly, her fees more than reasonable. The hospital on the other hand wasn’t. I was charged $6700 for 23 minutes in an operating room. Reasonable and customary charges, i.e. charges that a major insurance provider like Blue Cross would pay were about $3000. All of this information is easily accessible through medical blue book and google. What’s worse is that Cadillac hospital is in the Munson network and our insurance provider is accepted in every Munson hospital but Cadillac and Grayling. We petitioned, called people higher up and even worked with a medical bill negotiator. Apparently, Munson Cadillac is in the 3% of hospitals that don’t come to a settlement with our medical bill negotiator. If you have good insurance, good for you. If you don’t, stay clear of the Munson network. They have no trouble charging more than double to a private paying person on a small income than they would to an insurance agency. Lesson learned, drive south for any medical issues and bypass the Munson system for good!Craig Laurent⭐️⭐️⭐️The emergency room treatment was good. The follow up was very unsatisfactory.Ashton Mcleod This place is a joke been here for 2 hours and have watched 5 people go in front of me with less serious wrong with them I will NEVER come back here againJim Hoadley⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat Medical Services
