John Ryan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat and professional help from everyone there. The VA gets a lot of bad credit but they are very helpful. Of course there is some people with attitudes but working with hard headed veterans can do that. I’m sometimes in this category. Overall I am great full for the VA.Deanna Hearon⭐️⭐️⭐️I didn’t go for myself. I took my ex husband. I did learn that there’s no valid reason for hospital’s to keep the temperature so cool!Michael RichardsonI have been using this ER for more than 15 years. I think I can honestly say that I have never been out in less than 6 hours, even if I only needed an antibiotic prescription for sinus infection. In February, I fell and re-injured an old, service connected injury. I sat in this ER for 6 hours (after being sent upstairs for imaging three times, not once the imaging that was needed) before finding out the head discharged to me the one time I got up to go to the restroom. After more waiting, It was clear no more care was coming and I left. They didn’t give me so much as a splint for the arm which was diagnosed with a fracture the following day by a local urgent care. I’ve since seen three surgeons, two of them at Carl T Hayden and can’t get a straight message about state of my arm. The last surgeon they set me up with was one that has previously blown off my wife at his private practice (It took us a while to realize it was the same doctor) and put my neighbor through hell which was totally independent of my direct experiences. As far as I can tell, the VA might hire decent care providers, but they don’t last long and the ones that stick around aren’t doing it for the right reasons because most reasonable people are not willing to put up with this system, as evidenced by the MGySgt’s review.Dave AndersonI see my past review was removed. That’s OK Ill post it again. I am retired US Marine Corps MSGT with over 20 years of meritorious and honorable service. I used to work here for a couple of years so I know what I am talking about. Veterans, if you value your life stay away from this place. Not a good place for care and not a good place to work. They treat their employees like trash, especially non care-giving Veteran employees. They treat their patients like ne’er do well baboons. I hate this place and the US Department of Veterans Affairs as a whole. They ruined my life and have denied me care for no good reason other than they could. There actions have made it impossible to get care at any VA anywhere. I have been homeless in the Phoenix area largely because of there actions and they have denied me access to HUD/VASH assistance multiple times for no good reason and with no recourse.Bianna BarnettGreat place, but just speed up the waiting room process it’s ridiculous waiting forever long in this place.. someone needs to fix this ASAP atlantissusThe ER was good but this clinic as a whole is terrible they cant get me in for two weeks after an emergency visit…no wonder people die waiting for VA careSicario OperativeEvery single employee at this location needs to be terminated. It is imparitive that they hire employees that give a damn about Veterans. Poor staffing, beside manners, customer service, substandard pharmacy staff. Totally worthless at best.Devin J8 hours of waiting for my girlfriend, and we were finally taken back to be seen… Another 1.5 hours passed and a doctor still hadn’t seen her… And the nurse didn’t even assess the chief complaint. They lost her blood/urine they took during triage and had to retake samples….Then the doctor came in and told her that ultrasound wasn’t available for diagnostics and to come back tomorrow. The only positive thing was they scheduled an ultrasound for the following day, only to have her clinic call her and say sorry we can’t help you here, follow the ER doctors instructions” The doctor never performed an assessment, and told her to follow up with her clinic…. As a veteran, and as an Emergency Nurse I found this to be appalling and unacceptable. This absolutely would not be accepted at a civilian hospital…
