Jason Gluck⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had an appointment for an ultrasound on my leg today. I was hesitant because of bad reviews. However everyone was very pleasant, helpful and courteous. The ultrasound technician was very friendly. She explained everything she was going to do and was very professional. I received excellent care at this facility and would recommend it to anyone. I filled out some of my paperwork online ahead of time and this saved some time on check in. When I arrived the scanned my insurance card and gave me some payment options. Ultrasounds are NOT cheap, so be prepared.Tianna VossMy wife and I came here because she is pregnant and had pulled a muscle in last night. She’s had pain right around where the baby is and we needed to make sure the baby was okay and nothing was tore or having problems. The staff here is awful. Eye rolling from the doctor. They don’t even let you see what could be wrong with your own baby. I’m very annoyed with the whole situation and do not recommend anybody coming to this facility. No wonder the parking lot is dead empty. I’d rather die in my car driving to Huntersville than stop here. What a terrible facility. I rate this place as a zero. If you wish to be informed on anything go anywhere but here.Fallon HollandI’ll never come back here again. I brought our daughter in after 4 days of vomiting, diarrhea and being lethargic. They tested her for the flu- and said it wasn’t the flu but didn’t know what it was because a normal stomach virus doesn’t last this long???? So the PA told me she wasn’t sure what it was and sent me on my way. Nothing to help her with nausea , or the diarrhea. (Shes only two). Didn’t do any blood work or any other labs. Waste of time & money. Just going to go to the pediatrician tomorrow hopefully we’ll get some answers and some help then.Chris VanLue⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey were totally awesome! I wished they were a hospital. I don’t regret taking my father there – they were caring, informative, and the service was pretty quick for an emergency room.haley paulineeif I could give this place no stars I would. nurses are rude. doctors are ruder. they told me I wasn’t pregnant and then I found out I was. My OBGYN said they didn’t check my blood levels or anything from records. doctor didn’t even come in and tell me my results the nurse just rushed in and said “it’s negative” and gave me papers and said I could go. UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISGUSTING.SunniI gave 1 star because you can’t give a 0. P.A. Matthew Goodwin should not be practicing medicine. He did no physical exam. Did not ask prior medical history and did not confirm allergies. So prescribed medication that I could not take. Did not specifically answer any of my questions only said ” is not life threatening ” and then discharged me. Even though the waiting room was empty he rushed out the room like he didn’t have time to give me proper treatment, physically or mentally.Joseph BraswellVery disrespectful except for one nurse. I only consider this Urgent Care really than just a hospital. Nothing wrong with it being Urgent Care but that’s basically what it is but the doctors don’t seem to care about patients.Lisa JulyBabyBeen sitting here forever, still no one has given my husband breathing treatments! Nurse’s and doctors just sitting and looking at computer and talking. Not talking about patients might I add. So while everyone is just sitting around my husband is literally struggling to breath. This hospital sucks. They are uncaring, unprofessional and rude. Will never come back here again or recommend this place!ConnieThe doctors are rude, arrogant, and dismissive. If you don’t have picture perfect blood-work that will diagnose you without them actually having to think, they treat you like a drug seeking lunatic. I have NEVER gone there for pain meds, yet they sent me home with paperwork about Opioids and suicide, for severe abdominal pain. I do not have or take Opioids and I am not suicidal. If I were, the doctor should have actually asked me and verbally spoke to me, not just send me home with a suicide hotline phone number. Your doctor’s need to take a class or two on compassion and genuine care. They make no effort whatsoever to reassure you or guide you. I understand they must first rule out anything life-threatening or severe. However, that doesn’t excuse the fact that they have zero bed-side manner, care or concern. It’s truly disappointing and disheartening. ER care is costly and should at least come with compassionate service. You all should be ashamed! Visit date:1/27/20.Crystal⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone was very nice, courteous and attentive. They took me straight back. The nurses were already in my room awaiting my arrival. They did a great job making sure I was comfortable and the medicines were working on my migraine. The PA over my care was extremely compassionate and did a wonderful job with making sure my migraine was taken care of before releasing me. I highly recommend them!Monica Kilgo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI love this hospital, very quick and they really care about helping people.christy FosterI had the worst experience that i ever had. This dr miller called my husband a lier. He has had a heart cat at cmc his arm was hurting like crazy from the heart cat.. His arm is swollen they would not do anything for him.. They would not give him nothing for the pain in swelling in his arm.. The staff was rude unprofessional. Ill never go back.. I use to go see dr cole he was great.. Now i dont knw what happened to dr cole.. This miller chick and her nurses need to be firedKristie Stewart⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI received the most wonderful care, thorough testing, and was treated with kindness by everyone I came in contact with. I was there right at a shift change still feel like everyone was concerned about my health. Well done Mt Holly CaroMont.Evan WilliamsSeems management isn’t reading these reviews or doesn’t care because this seems to be a ongoing problem. The person at the front desk doing the check in was so rude to my spouse that I asked her why she was; her tone changed with me and she pretended to act oblivious. When I spoke with her manager she wasn’t that interested in hearing any details of what was said; but was quick to get security because I was voice recording the conversation (for accuracy and any follow ups). I stopped when asked, but it was just my wife and I with the manager- there was no violation of HIPPA- comes off as she just wanted to be rid of us. On top of extremely long wait when there doesn’t seem to be many people there.madison hinsonRude. Don’t listen. Seems like they all got their degrees out of a trash can. If you go there with something serious you’re prob just gonna die there.Genna Kale⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTook my sick 3 year old tonight because he’s had a bad stomach bug since Tuesday. Everyone was very nice and time efficient with no wait to get a room. They ensured our son was in good hands. He’s feeling much better now.Judy S⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat Visit!!! Awesome care and treated with well respect!!Elizabeth BakerLong wait even though I could see the nurses and doctors sitting around at their desks laughing, not doing any work. When the doctor finally came in he was rough, insensitive, and acted as if that room was the last place he’d wanted to be. Also, a very concerning factor is that, upon hearing his diagnosis, I disagreed and made an appointment with my other doctor. He completely misdiagnosed me even after I, a teenager, asked him if my diagnosis (which ended up being correct) was a possibility in which he waved off.Sherry PerrigoVery disappointed in today’s visit. There’s barely any patients here. We’ve been here for two hours for an X-ray. The nurses are so loud in the nurses station it’s unbelievable. Laughing and talking the whole time we’ve been here. We just inquired about the X-ray results and were told the radiologists is in Gastonia and we’ll have to wait. The patient service here is terrible. We will not come here again. The only thing speedy here is the lady collecting the$300. This place was very good when it first opened- not anymore.Mahogany CoutureWill NEVER EVER go back here! I was having a kidney stone attack, which I’ve been dealing with for years, and the staff especially Dr. Patel was completely incompetent in regards to how to treat such pain! They never asked my pain level but could visibly see I was in pain. The incompetent nurse took my blood pressure and said it was high and proceeded to ask me if I was on blood pressure pills. WHAT!! No lady.. I’M IN PAIN!! They attempted to take me back for an ultrasound while I’m still in pain! I refused to do anything until my pain was under control. When Dr. Patel came back in the room she proceeded to tell me they were going to give me Toradol for my kidney stone attack. Seriously!! I told her that doesn’t work for me and if she would look at my medical records that she has access to then she would see that. She told me she didn’t need to look. WHAT?!? I decided to leave still at a level 10 pain! This is not over!!Al Savelle⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWent last night and got treated. I was in and out. The P.A was wonderful. The nurse and aides was great! So glad that hard to understand African doctor wasn’t there. I was really hoping not to get him. I had to walk out last time I got him because he did nothing to help.Megan BestEXTREMELY rude staff. They get you in a room quickly but leave you waiting for an extremely long time and treat you terribly if you question anything they say. A few of the nurses are extremely sweet but other than that, definitely don’t recommend! Period.Bryan BrownDr Miller was amazing and has an amazing bedside manner. I called for a follow up today because my injury got worse, and the nurse told me to not worry about it everything is normal. It would be nice to speak to a MD or a PA concerning a follow up. The nurse contradicted herself three times. I’d rather go to the urgent care I went to and have his opinion.Donnie WallaceThe most unprofessional group of people ive ever encountered in my life on star is to kind a waste of tax payer money.K Jana’e⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Not a fan of Caromont ER department but I had never been to the Mt. Holly facility. They were very very kind and courteous. Way better than the main staff.Selese SmithNO PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AS YOU WALK IN THE ENTRANCE. BAD THING WAS IT WAS AN RN NANCY SITTING BEHIND THE DESK. SHE MUST HAVE BEEN ABSENT THE DAY THE WAS TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICES AND PROFESSIONALISM. MUSIC WAS UP AND HAD TO REPEAT ANSWERS SEVERAL TIMES. ER WASN’T NO WHERE NEAR FULL; NO ONE WAS THERE. THAT SHOULDN’T BE A QUESTION OF WHY! WHAT A 24 -HR CHARACTER ER CARE THIS IS. YOU CAN TELL WHEN A COMPANY IS NOT TAKING CARE OF THEIR STAFF. THE STAFLN BI wouldn’t recommend this hospital. They are very unprofessional and often have the wrong diagnosis. You spend a lot of money and it’s a complete waste of time.Tommie HaginI had a stroke. They put me in cardiac ward and ran thousands of dollars in tests on my heart even though I kept telling them it wasnt my heart. They actually told me no stroke but wanted me to see Neurologist asap. He took one look at MRI and records and could not believe they put me in cardiac when stroke was obvious. Problem was…they made way more money mistreating me than they would have with proper diagnosis.HAAZEL WILLIAMSExtremely rude staff, didn’t seem like they wanted to be doing their jobs didn’t help with anything I definitely will not be backJoshua JulianCame here with my Mom for some issues she was having and they left an IV in her arm for no apparent reason. There were 15 people just standing around. I had to ask for it to be removed. The staff seem very unprofessional and unfriendly.Timothy Lambert⭐️⭐️I came in this morning to have my son treated and the ladies up front were the rudest, most miserable people I’ve ever seen in customer service. The lady that checked us in put the bracelet on his arm and he looked up at her, smiled and said, “Thank you!” She said nothing back and just kept the permanent scowl look on her face. My son is 3 and has more manners than this adult. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the PA that treated my son was absolutely amazing with him. But it’s not enough to ever want to come back to this place.S BrinsonUnfortunately a negative review reflects the company as a whole, and the minimum amount of employees at this facility that are in this profession for the right reasons, will be grouped with the employees who feel the need to be judgemental towards patients due to inability to have health insurance or are needing assistance from so called professionals. All in all, we’re all humans and deserve to be taken seriously if we feel the need to visit the emergency room for ANY reason, because if we’ve come, it was probably our only choice. For my 10month old grandson who was seen yesterday due to the panic of his parents because their child couldn’t breath, was given a generic diagnosis of bronchiolitis and sent on his way to fight to breath and told to follow up with his pediatrician today. Fast forward to now in which he’s been officially hospitalized for the CROUP as we’ve watched helplessly as this little guy has been fighting to breath like every breath is his last. All I can say is that in this field if you’re unsure, step up and say that, don’t give people false information on what you think it may be. If this is the protocol of the hospital itself, your policies need to be revised. Too many people put their trust in what the Dr said and sometimes they’re not in it for you, just the paycheck. Not only do we now have to pay your facility, and our own pediatrician, we have a hospital admittance to pay with it. I pray my grandson will recover 100%, but we definitely won’t be back for any reason. When you opened in Mt. Holly, we were relieved, now we’re just disappointed that something that could’ve helped us has left a sour taste in the mouths of our communityDana Scully⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBest ER experience I have ever had!! I was rushed in the second I got there, no wait, everyone was so quick and efficient and I was breathing better and back at home in an hour. God blessMadison HowardNever again. Terrible, terrible, terrible. If I could give no stars, I would. Not only do you get to wait around forever (for me and my child it was over 6 hours), but you also get to listen to all the work gossip. They sure aren’t quiet about it at all either! I guess gossiping is more important than the patients. Even talking about patients and their records, isn’t that HIPA?!Jenn Thurston⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I took my almost 5 yr old son in to address a head wound he received at daycare. They took us right back, immediately started evaluating him and taking vitals. Besides the wait for the numbing agent to take effect we hardly waited at all. The staff was kind and patient, explained everything that was going to happen, their bedside manner was great with him. Thank you for treating us so kindly.emf ilianna Smith⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDr cole saved my life he found a blood clot other drs at other hospitals ignored if not for him I would have died.Lindsey StroupThe doctors and nurses at this location do not listen to their clients. They do not advocate or allow a patient to be involved in their own care. Unless you are unable, a client of any medical facility should be allowed to proactively contribute to their treatment. Especially for pain management, they treat you like an addict. My advice: Look at other countries and how they handle this, then take a note.Traci Whiteley⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNo wait time, admissions clerk, security, xray tech, nurses and doctor provided great bedside manners and very nice. Literally got a xray only took 30 minutes. I think in order to be treated with respect you must give it. Some of these reviews read as if you just didn’t get the answer to what you’d already diagnose yourself with. These employees in the healthcare industry work long hours and see many people a day. I’m new to the area and no I don’t work here but damn giving a thumbs up to this facility and staff.Donna MitchellI took my 6 month old son in for throwing up but had no fever they did an X-ray to see if any fluid got into his lungs said he looked great I then told them my son wasn’t throwing up for no reason they wanted to hold him after his feeding to see if it happened again I told them no that I wanted to be released I contacted his Dr. Office told them what happened and they immediately brought in the Dr. Looked at his X-ray saying he was backed up to his ribs did a formula change amongst other things had I let this go and trusted these Dr. My 6 month old could have been in a horrible situation I have always trusted these Dr. With my children and myself I will not be returning to this hospital I’ll take the 5 hour wait when it comes to our health this is the worst experience everOlga CortezIf I could give this place a negative rating I would. You could be dying and they would say oh it’s just sore throat you will be fine. They don’t care for you and give you the one on one treatment you would be expecting. I went in for heart pain I had been having for 2 months the doctor said your EKG looks fine, hang on, wait one second. When he comes back 30 seconds later he says wait do you have heart disease. WAIT a minute what did you ask me? I’m confused you just said I was fine. These doctors are a joke here seriously. My son who is 3 years went for a virus we were in and out of the hospital in less than 5 mins. Mind you we had my cousin who checked in as well for a pulled hamstring. PLEASE GO TO NOVANT AVOID THIS PLACE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.Gabriel Bolick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAbsolutely wonderful care! Came in for what I thought was a kidney stone. From the first contact through the end the nurses have been great, compassionate and overall amazing! Dr had wonderful bedside manner was very thorough!!! Couldn’t have been happier!Laquita McginnisThe staff did not listen attempted to give meds i am allergic to bit showed no care or concern regarding their patients..maybe if they actually listened to patients rather than assume they may increase their ratings. I only regret i camt give them a negative..long wait and wast of moneyThankful Citizen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNight staff was amazing. I made a stupid decision and had an accidental overdose while i happened to be there for a friend. I fell out and went unresponsive in the hall and was immediately rescued and brought back to life by the staff with use of Narcan. I woke confused. Embarrassed and generally wanting to be anywhere else. The staff kindly and respectfully explained my situation and convinced me to stay. All the nurses and dr. On staff were helpful. Kind and best of all did not attempt to make me feel worse emotionally than i already did. Over the next 2 hours i received fluids while having a genuinely enjoyable conversation with the nurse they had sit in my room with me. I am so thankful to have found myself in such kind and capable hands in my moment of need (albeit need bred of my own stupidity). I not only owe them my life but even more because their kindness in the face of an situation they could have easily judged me and treated me poorly based off honestly well deserved opinions. Their kindness and care did more for me in helping me to take inventory and self reflect on my decision than any other experience or treatment therein i could ever imagine receiving. The way they handled the situation and my person in general left me with a feeling of obligation to everyone involved to make better decisions and make the life they cared to save worth their effort to do so. Thank y’all so much (and sorry i woke up embarrassed and tried to run off on you to begin with.)Lydia Bridges⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Very kind.Nathan Caldwell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedStaff was amazing and attentive. They gave me morphine and another drug when I got there for nausea. Comfortable room. Was diagnosed in a little over 2 hours with acute appendicitis and they sent me immediately to the OR at Gaston Memorial.Carolyn WheelerWent to er with stabbing chest pains and shortness of breath ran EKG and did chest xray only to be told it was muscular and sent home. Two days later admitted to a novant hospital to have 24 oz of fluid removed from my pericadial sac. Will never again go here. Not sure I even trust the caromont name.elisa chiusanoIf I could give negative stars I would. Dont ever go here. I came here with a busted face from a horse back riding accident, full of blood and no one to help me. All the wanted to to was ex ray my hand….MY HAND!!! When my face is covered in blood. Then my husband and I were threatened to get arrested when we asked for better service. Ridiculous, never go there these people are not fit to work in the medical field.William McCaslin⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI don’t know what everyone else had to deal with but we were seen in 10 minutes for my lady and they did a cat scan and all…which leaded to finding another problem. And they cared and treated her great. Sorry for the experience yall had but ours was great!!!Michelle GoelzerHorrible staff!!! I have been to the ER many times over the years and it was a waist of time. No information AT ALL with simple questions. It was almost like they didn’t even know what they were doing. Even the cleaning staff came in as we were leaving and it was almost like she had a scowl look on her face. I don’t expect much, after all it is the ER, but they were almost rude.Joseph MWorst staff ever. Tell me, how do you tell someone with a sick screaming 2 year old, sitting there for an hour and a half, that you don’t know how much longer the wait is? Then you say that it depends on the severity of the case? So a sick screaming baby is not severe enough for you? Something is wrong with these nurses and staff. So rude and inconsiderate. Go to any other hospital ever, DO NOT go here!!Callie MorganI’ve never written a bad review until now. This was the worst hospital/care center I’ve ever been to. I came in because I’m almost 20 weeks pregnant (18) and was having sharp pains in my abdomen. I told them my due date 3 times which they added up to me being 21 weeks. I was wheelchaired to the maternity floor since I’m pregnant and it was a far walk. I get in a room, strip down and get hooked up to a machine and they check the baby’s hearbeat. Immediately after she comes back, doesn’t say anything. The nurse unhooks me from everything and says I’m going back to the ER because I’m actually under 20 weeks and they won’t see me on that floor. She says “get dressed, go back to the ER” very rudely. No one came to help me and my boyfriend find the ER again and just had me walk all the way back. I get back and they have to start all over because they can’t share charts between floors. I have my vitals taken for a 3rd time and actually get a 3rd arm bracelet because the first two times they got my information wrong. Four hours later in the ER and I was still not. Everyone was asleep, and several people kept asking the front desk how much longer because they had been there for an X amount of hours. There were only 4 other people in the ER. I am still having the sharp pains in my belly so we got up and just left. The staff downstairs was very friendly and nice, but it seemed like they didn’t have much do since they were on their phones or giggling with each other. I definitely will not be going back to this facility again. I don’t care that it is the closest to my house.David LoftonNot one to complain much but after our visit last night I am concerned that no one that helped us including the Dr. put on a pair of gloves while treating my daughter. Not even when they did a swab for strep or while handling the medicine they gave her for her headache. They even gave her a sprite and said and I quote ” this may help with the headache because of the caffeine in the sprite”. Sprite is caffeine free by the way. I’m no Dr. but I could have come up with a better diagnosis than a headache caused by caffeine when her symptoms were sore throat, headache, body ache, feeling faint, feeling nauseous, sinus drainage and a bloody nose which was why we decided to take her to the ER in the first place. I will say the staff was very nice but not very professional and definitely need to take better care of their patients. Very disappointed with this facility.John CabGreat place to go for Last AidBrittany CharlestonI’m 16 weeks pregnant they have no bed side manor I’m sitting in pain for 2 hours no one caresSteven MorganDO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! Worst experience I have had, this place is the reason I quit going to ER’s or Urgent Care’s. The NP I saw left and asked the doctor every few minutes a new question about my injury which made me nervous. But I thought what the hell everyone new to any profession needs some training before they know what they are doing. I was there for 5 HOURS for a “laceration” according to their paperwork. When in reality I had a large chunk ripped out and off of my finger; inner tissue was visible. They changed their minds about what they are going to do to fix/remedy it ATLEAST 3 times. What did they do? They put gauze on it, and sent me on my way. It took 5 hours to place a band aid on it? I spoke with a medical professional I personally know after I got home and shown her my hand, and was told that gauze on a injury like this will be extremely painful as it will stick to it. She said that that solution WOULD NEVER BE DONE EVER at any ER or Urgent Care she has worked at. I want too add that there was only one person ahead of me upon my arrival, and it still took over 5 hours. I was bleeding profusely in the waiting room. Not to mention the skin down the whole side of my finger was barely hanging on. They said take Tylenol (which they wouldn’t give me any Tylenol or anything while I was on-site), which is fine I ended up taking 2 I had in my car after I’ve been waiting for 3-4 hours. I’ve been at home now for almost an hour and it is throbbing and extremely painful so I took two more. I called back (put on hold for over 10 minutes) before I even had a chance to say my name. I asked what the maximum amount of Tylenol is I could take for this, and wasn’t really given an answer. I then asked if there was anything I can get to help with the pain. They said take more/as much Tylenol as needed! After I have already taken 4 in less than 4 hours? Seriously?Ernest Stovall⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️They have been very good most of the time I’m there no more than an hour the other night I was there for over 3 hours but they make it comfortable for youMatthew Abadie⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’m surprised to see all the negative reviews. I was a patient the other night and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the staff. Everyone from the nurses to the doctor were kind, caring, and attentive.TheRealHawk115It’s too bad you can’t give no stars or negative scores. Because that is what they deserve. They are slow, unfriendly, and unprofessional. They are unaware of their own policy and change it to suit their needs day by day. Everyone from the lady at registration to the doctor was condescending and hateful. I guess they forget they have a job because of people like us. They get cushy salaries because sick people grossly overpay just to get relief. So if you don’t mind being treated like scum, and have time to waste then by all means….come here. You’re sure to find doctors, nurses and others abound that do not care one bit!!
