Before you go to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Los Angeles emergency room think.
Karen LopezI had the worst experience at Cedars Sinai on January 24th and I would never take any of my family there for care. I am a registered nurse and was very sick and went for care and to be told wait times is 5 to 6 hours is absolutely outrageous. Thank goodness called UCLA Santa Monica and I left Cedars and I was seen and treated right away. Considering that I work for Cedars and this is how I was treated. Kudo to UCLA and I will always go there if I have an emergency. I will never go to Cedars Sinai Emergency room even if I was paid to do so and I will never send any of my loved ones either. No one should be waiting in a lobby 5 to 6 hours and there is no excuse for it. You could die in the lobby just waiting for care. We are not in a third world hospital where you would expect this kind of wait times. Its suppose to a world class top hospital..I was very DISAPPOINTED.Mary Born⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCedars Sinai saved my life. I am forever indebted. The E.R, intensive care unit, hospital, doctors, surgeons, staff, treated me like my life mattered, more than anything. Time, and time again. I owe my life to Cedars, and I beg anyone who needs help to bring their most complicated health problems, and cherished loved ones here for help. Dr. Michael Alexander and his talented team performed a series of complicated neurosurgeries on my here, with remarkable results. Barbara, and everyone at volunteer services, everyone who contributes to Cedars… thank you. I am forever in your debt.Jonathan WThe nurses here are awful . No care for the people just basic transaction for the patient and their family around. Wait time is awful and they sometimes just forget you Nurses won’t even look at you to talk just stare at their screen until you walk away desperate for a little empathy Unfortunate because the hospital and other dept are great – just this er is awfulEdon Ben-Artzi⭐️⭐️⭐️It’s a good hospital but the emergency room waiting area is kind of small and you have to wait a couple hours to be seen. The correct address of the emergency room is 8701 Gracie Allen Dr.! I don’t know why Google has it listed as 8700 Beverly Blvd. that is not the correct address and I wish they would correct it!King KoopaI was refused mental health services even though i tried to commit suicide here on their property i cut my wrists open and almost bled to death because the these staff are corrupt they had security escort me off the property and called the police and made them take me to another hospital all because they hate me they bully me all the time. They get away with itAIcha DI had the worst experience here. Honestly if you want to be treated like a human don’t come to this emergency room. Most of the people that work there are uncaring, rude, disrespectful, and agressive. We waited 3h before a doctor showed up and only stayed for a very short time he didn’t even give us time to ask questions. There was no privacy, they were speaking so loud about what’s going on with you and everyone could here everything. It was so embarrassing and dehumanizing the way they treated us there. Only one of the nurses was nice that’s why I said most but all the other nurses that came to us were rude and they seemed to hate that we asked questions or for water.Hasa MewokullsI was being mistreated by the ER nurses this behavior towards me is being condoned and covered up by the supervisors of the ER. Me specifically have a victim of prejudice and discrimination by the ER nurses that handle the medical and mental patients in the back. They exaggerate false reports to security in order to defamate my character and have so to other people as i have also witnessed several times. They also coach and rehearsed stories to cover up any negative exposure they conduct here. I have been confronted by a mental health nurse that i am not welcomed here at this hospital because i voted for a bad person. Also this hospital condones illegal procedures by directing nurses and other non licensed psychiatrists to impersonate a psychiatrist or mental health worker to incriminate certain patients wirh rehearsed questioning that defamates that persons character so that their discrimination methods will not be exposed overtly in front of witnesses. I have also over heared a few nurses conversating about conducting a intended plot to show probable cause to discharge the patient unfairly, this includes the nurses verbally provoking the patient to get a violent reaction for the only purpose of having an excuse to report to security that the patient must be escorted off the premises immediately wether the patient was purposely provoked into a verbal confrontation or reacted to the mental abuse violently the patients and me as well are being falsely reported by the ER nurses to establish their attempts to kick me out and the other patients that went through this too. Not all of the nurses here are corrupt or bad its the bad ones that influence other nurses and staff with manipulation to condone and participate in operating covertly and sometimes overtly the abuse and mistreatment of targeted patients that they personally dislike or feel prejudice against. One strategy that some of the corrupt nurses use to cover any negative conclusions or reports that me or another patient may make is to exhibit proper professionalism towards other non bullied patients so that their reputation will exceed their misconduct towards the bullied patients, further more in addition to the corrupt nurses that use this strategy they fullfill their goal by causing this effect because they know they must convince that the doctors and their director that they prove themselves to have good integrity to distract and counter any reports made against them. Therefore these certain nurses are keeping up a false act of kindness and proper care to continie their abuse against me and other certain patients. This should be reviewed by the ceo of this hospital because i am not able to make my report to the director or ceo of this hospital because the nurses and charge nurses and intake staff will either condone it lie to me saying no one is available or the nurses will interfere with my report and continously pass me attempt to report them in person to other staff and nurses that will claim they have no position to help me or take my report to the proper channels of my complaint. This is not a practical complaint or grievance this is a report on these staff/nurses of illegal activity they commit against me and other criminal activities they conduct on a daily basis. Last to mention but not least last time i was here and the nurse falsely representing herself as a psychaitrist was changing her behavior and abusive comments agaimst me only when there is another staff of nurse witnessing her behavior with me. She has tried to talk the the non participating nurses into leaving the area where i am so that she wont get caught in the act of the mental abuse she is attempting on me. I know this well because i seen her aiding and physically assisting other medical patients with their care including inserting an IV into an elderly patient shortly after she represented herself to me that she was a licensed psychiatrist to evaluate me with trick questions in order to get me to agree and say that i am no longer suicidal and or because i have a drug problem.Jacqueline Paneque⭐️⭐️Beyond disappointed and upset with how the front office staff in emergency treated us. I totally get it’s a tough job and dealing with the public is very challenging but I brought my husband in with severe abdominal pain due to gallbladder issues, he was screaming and no one from staff looked pressed to do something. They said they would get him the next bed due to his pain level yet kept calling in other patients. I went up to the window to find out why and a man at the computer was visibly upset I was asking him for an update. He said nothing could be done. Seriously?? What happened to getting him the next bed? This is emergency and you can’t do anything? I began to cry and he said if I didn’t calm down he would have security escort me out. I am the most patient person ever, I was not violent, just crying because my husband was in unbearable pain. A sweet nurse I think took pity and realized it was bad and helped get us a room. What a horrible experience when a loved one is in pain and the professionals you seek help from sit back and judge you. I hope he gets what he deserves as I’m sure we’re not the first this nurse has mistreated. I asked for his name but another staff member said they could not give it to me. I didn’t press because I was afraid they would escort me out, for asking a question!! My husband is currently awaiting test results for next steps and I thank those doctors and nurses who really do care.Dillon StewartHorrible service. We were admitted at 10:30am and were barely talked to or seen for 9 hours. Anytime we were talked to they would ask us questions, wouldn’t give any time for a response, move on to some other question and be slowly backing out the room the entire time while staring at their watch or clipboard. They would leave without giving us any idea what we should be expecting next or what we were waiting for. We’d sit around for 2 hours until the same thing would happen all over again. We just didnt feel cared for in the slightest. Don’t go here.Michael Martin⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedComprehensive and compassionate staff.Adam Turovaara⭐️⭐️Waited 4 hours in the ER while everyone who came in after me was seen 1st. I understand prioritizing and taking care of the serious injuries 1st, but this wasnt the case. After waiting 4 hours, I was tricked and said I was next up…. Waited another hour. Worst run hospital I’ve ever had the displeasure of having to visit.Lily HI went to ER on 4/5/19. The Security team and staff were friendly and helpful except the Nurse who was checking people in. Very rude person. When you are there, you are in pain, scared and much more and she was treating people like nothing. I had shortness of breath, high blood pressure and thought had symptoms of a heart attach. After waiting for 4 hours to see a doctor, whom i didn’t, she told me i look good and not sick and should just leave. I told her how bad i was and her responds was “Yea i know, but not anymore, so just leave and come back when you actually feel bad.” What? I did get there when i wasn’t feeling well. Sadly, I wasnt the only one she was treating like that. I can understand its hard working with people, but the way she was treating everyone is awful. To keep the story short she basically kicked me out of ER after a blood test and waiting to see a doctor for 4 hours because she had no beds for another 2 hours, which i didnt mind to wait for. Her job should be somewhere where she doesnt work with people. Thats all what i can say. Security should not be more pleasant then the nurse.1970thetruth⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTHE BEST PLACE TO GET MEDICAL CARE…THEY SAVE MY LIFE IM VERY GRACEFUL WITH THEM ALL THE CREW IS VERY PROFESIONAL AND KINDLE OF HUMAN BEEN,THEY TREAT ME WITH SO MUCH LOVE AND MERCY….I LOVE YOU CEDAR SINAI HOSPITAL.Naynay Burke⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI love this hospital the nurses and the doctors are so wonderful and loving. The treat you like if they were sweet parents and you were there child. I will choose this hospital and no other.Mila HarrisThe wait time has been AT LEAST 5 hours!!!!King NeptuneWaited two hours to finally get called for a bed in the hallway for my brother who is hallucinating and having mental troubles. One would think it isn’t wise to put someone going through such things in a hallway with people walking by constantly.Elena Kay⭐️⭐️⭐️It is hit and miss here. I’ve been here a few times and the waiting room is often filled with a mixture of normal people and abnormal people. Sometimes, there is no wait to be helped, but often, there is a long wait. Last time I was in, some white lunatic, just released from prison, was threatening to beat someone (imaginary I assume). Six or seven security guards and police had to restrain him. All the while, he was screaming obscenities and that he was going to sue them for brutality. Back to the main problem here. The emergency medical staff is hit and miss. My sincere recommendation is to have a friend or loved one with you at all times to advocate for you. I had a sweet nice nurse (I think her name was Emily) who genuinely cared about what she was doing. Her assistant didn’t care and was a walking malpractice suite. He literally lied to the nice nurse and injured me. I called management to complain, but have as yet not received a call back. All in all, I’m glad to have Cedars Sinai emergency room, where else can you go when you needed help?Susan Goodlerner⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy husband was acutely ill, fever of 105 and a cancer patient on chemo. He was seen by the doctor in less than 15 minutes, and at the same time the team of nurses was in action: giving him fluids, Tylenol, antibiotics and getting all tests such as Chest XRay, lab tests within a few minutes. Those complaining about wait time need to understand that life and death emergencies go first! That is where this ER shines! Very happy with the care Susan Goodlerner MDAna Paula RiveraIt is the WORST service I have ever experienced. If you are patient enough to actually get treated. The receptionist give you with an attitude you, it feels the service is for free in a third world country. We managed to be admired four hours after checking in. Then we waited for another one hour in the bed with no assistance whatsoever. We left 5hours after with no problem solved. All my husband needed was stitches. This is the second time I visit this ER and definitely the last one. The whole team are inhuman and simply do to care. They even make jokes between them. It was a nightmare We decided to go to UCLA ER after, what a difference! We got a bed in 5min and we were out in 35min It was a crazy night!Erika Perez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAlways the best hospital to give birth and for emergencys. Great nurses and doctors. Very clean and proffecionalPaul StocksTold I would be fast tracked, with head pain after accident. Hour and a half later, still not seen. Walked out. I knew I should have gone to st Joseph’sEmily BarkerI have been to many ERs for DVT, 160 heart rate, appendicitis, meningitis, worst service i’ve ever had. Went here instead of USC by my house. Worst decision ever. Nurses walking around slowly, flirting, on their phone. Took an hour to come in my room despite having a DVT.Anita ParkerI had a kidney infection and waited almost 4 hours before I was seen. They people at the check in were not empathetic and they didn’t care. They were laughing and talking with each other. I was crying telling them I was in an intense amount of pain and nothing was done for that either I was told I would have to wait an hour minimum to be seen. It seemed that the only way to be seen faster was if you gave them attitude or asked to see a supervisor which I witnessed people do as well. When I finally got in they had to put an IV in and missed my vein and had to do the other arm. When I went to the bathroom shortly after having the IV put in I started leaking blood from the IV in the bathroom because they did not do it right. The doctor was nice but there was only one doctor serving the entire wing which I don’t think is efficient. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hospital and I don’t think I will ever being going back.froggie Arana⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedA people place where your health and recovery is first…..also great hospitalSiomara Esmeralda Santizo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went bcuz I thought I was having a stroke, I was blessed I had not only a grt team of professional Dr’s & nurses that right away saw me & ran all the test needed!!
