Charlton Memorial Hospital Reviews

Before you go to Charlton Memorial Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Fall River emergency room think.

Jamie Montgomery Alaburda⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My youngest child waited almost 4 hours before seeing a doctor. The ER was full, so they put us in the other section. While waiting, to keep them from crying, the staff brought us stuffed animals and puppets to keep and entertain us until we were seen. Staff was friendly. The only complaint was cleanliness of the bathroom. Vallet parking was free at ER entrance.Jennifer Perry I do not suggest going to chalton hospital. They r incompitant and they discriminate against ER patience. Do yourself a favor and and go somewhere else other than chalton hospital. If you want good careAnthony Leone⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad all three kids at Charlton. Staff is great! Rooms are clean! Would reccomend.Mandie Mccauley⭐️⭐️Horrible emergency visit today! I’m giving 2 stars bc it was a short wait. I seen PA Maya, and she was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend seeing her. I had a horrible fall and hurt my tail bone, I have bad bruising in the area, I’m in so much pain to sit or lay down. I have been taking Motrin and Tylenol, pain patch and icing it before I made the choice to go to the er. So for two days I was in horrible pain but toughed it out till I finally decided to go. This is exactly why I didn’t want to go, if i knew what was going to happen I would of stayed home. First off PA Maya comes in, emotionless, as if she feels nothing for her patients. I showed her where the pain was and it was clear bc of the bruising. I told her it was painful to sit and lay, told her what I been doing for pain management. Tylenol, Motrin pain patch. I’m clearly here because the pain has got worse and I need it to feel better. She looks at the area and listens emotionless, wen I showed the triage nurse my tailbone area, I got more of a reaction out of her then the PA. PA Maya did nothing for me not even a xray, sends me home with Motrin after I told her it wasn’t helping. It was 11:30am and I told her I had my last dose at 9 am, to insult the situation even more she had me take a dose of “children’s liquid motrin” I was shocked! If I knew the visit was going to be like that I would of stayed home. My husband was furious seeing me crying told me he taking me to another er. I didn’t want to but luckily I did because I just found out I fractured a small heirlien fracture on my tail bone thru ct scan and this er doctor was way more understanding. I explained my situation 2 them and that doctor told me thier job is to find out where its coming from, control pain best they can, and prescribe what is needed when someone is sick. I was just so relieved. But I will never go back to this er, and I really don’t like south coast and how they operate. They are trully uncompassionate.Ariel Drew⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBrought my mother to the emergency room here while we were on vacation from Tennessee. Told them what was going on and she was in an emergency bay before she even sat down. People left and right tending to her medical needs. Not one person questioned her or myself about insurance and finances until she was all taken care of and we were just waiting for test results. They answered all my questions and very smoothly handled her stubbornness. She was admitted and the ladies and gentleman upstairs were also beyond awesome. Again answering all of our questions and concerns and explaining any medical jargain sometimes even before we would ask. They even made sure to address her travel plans for the next few days to make sure her health could handle the plans because we weren’t from there. Then they called the day after she was discharged to check on her. This was the best hospital experience I have ever had and I’ve even had the ones that you would think should show the best kind of southern hospitality.Jessi Marie⭐️⭐️They dismiss almost every pain as “anxiety”Marsha Silvia⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy husband went to the ER tonight for the first time. Everyone was wonderful from the minute he checked in. Doctor and nurses were great! We were out in less than 1.5 hours!!MGTOW man live free⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat place to get fixed up goodferdin cora Worst hospital of all ! Took extremely long to just discharge my wife at the end of having to wait 21 hours while she was having contractions !! 21 hours !! No matter if your child is over due or not they still will not bother to do anything for you if they don’t feel like it which is ridiculous! Again after 21 hours of waiting on the actual doctor, nurses had nothing to say but “drink this ice cold water” or “we have to make sure the baby’s heart beat is ok “ I will never recommend this hospital to anyone having a child or thinking about having a child I promise you this will be something you regret . And I can promise this because the same thing has happened to my siblings in their labors .Benjamin⭐️⭐️⭐️helped my gf fast and filled out the paper work for her so we could get help faster. Very friendly.. seem to take forever tho once in the back rooms.. nurses are idle or chatting instead of working.
