Before you go to CHI Memorial Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Fort Oglethorpe emergency room think.
gary mcconathyWent there in November 2018 for a vehicle collision. I repeatedly told the financial lady that it would be a workers comp claim since I was driving a company car on company business when another vehicle lost control and hit the one I was driving. My human resources department contacted the financial person while I sat and listened to the conversation…. I was assured by the financial lady that it would not be filed in my name. I have been constantly billed at my home address… I received a bill the Friday before Christmas (2019) and no one will answer the phone at chi. I would recommend going to a veterinarian before going to fort oglethorpe chiApril TaborThe staff that saw me for diagnosis was impeccable, however, the prescriptions required were not dated and the pharmacy couldn’t fill them, i had to make a second trip, the office staff was unable to operate their computer system in order to correct it, and then the doctor wasn’t legally able to prescribe the medications after I had waited for an extended period of time to pick up my medications. It was an extremely long process and not necessary for anyone. I will NOT be back if it’s avoidable. The lack of professionalism of the clerical staff was disturbing.Toni LeighIt’s still Hutcheson if you continue to hire D- doctors who are more worried about being popular with their staff than being a GOOD DOCTOR. Nothing like feeling like you don’t matter and are a waste of time to these people.Caitlin KeithI would give this place 0 stars my mother was in the hospital was in very bad pain and bleeding really bad , doctor refused to help her and told her that she needed to go to the doctor when she was in the emergency room. this place has never changed even though it has a different name don’t come to die county hospital.Terry ShenkEmergency service sucks, rooms are not clean. My husband was put in a room, with someone elses blood on side of bed. Room was very cold, and he wasnt offered a blanket. The girl said that without insurance, you have to pay something before you leave. If you dont have money, and you are seen for emergency, how are you suppose to pay? Seek another hospital, not this one!RabbiIf they’re trying to save my life do not take me here where they don’t have it all together. Hutcheson Hospital was much better. If they can’t serve the community with complete care without having to send you some place else they need to shut the doors. The tri state would be better off. We need a good hospital in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.Kierra ChristianWish I could give negative amount of starts ! Sitting in a room across from the desk and can hear every word they are saying , the staff at the desk the nurnurses and even the dr cussing away talking badly about patients . How unprofessional !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Alex CronnonDr. Jones didnt seem too interested in helping me. I have gallbladder issues and it cuases severe pain. The medication they gave me only lasted a small amount of time and he said “We cant do anything else for you” I told him i was still in pain and he pretty much shrigged it off. Wont be going back.Jennifer WolfeGiving this place a 1 star rating is a joke. I wish it could be ZERO!!!!! Took my boyfriend there for a major toothache, which I understand is not typical. The Nurse Tech took his vitals, BP was sky high over 200 for the top number. Sat in waiting room for 1 hr before rechecking his BP, with same results. The same nurse tech snickered and with grin on her face lied to us. Sorry, you will have to wait a little bit longer because an ambulance pulled up with an emergency. We saw that there was not an ambulance and there was only 3 cars in the parking lot. We left and went to Erlanger East and was seen within 2 mons and out of the ER in 20 mind with antibiotics. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO HERE AGAIN. It is not fit for human or animal’sBrandi BlevinsIn the triage room, the lady that had on a name tag that said volunteer, snickered and gave me an awful look when I answered the person taking my information about my place of employment. I felt that was very rude and unprofessional, I love where I work. Also waited to be seen almost 3 hours after signing in. I would give zero stars if I could.Wendy DyeNever go to this place! I went to this place on Valentine’s Day, because of a persistent sore throat…..it got so bad I could hardly swallow. The only thing they did was took my temp and blood pressure. When the PA came in, all she did was barely look in my throat….no test for strep or anything. All she did was write a prescription for penicillin. The nurse came back in with the prescription and I asked what the doctor’s diagnosis was, and she just said sore throat. I got a bill today for $699..wth for? They DIDN’T do anything. They didn’t even know what I had. I could’ve had strep, or something else, but they didn’t take the time to check. The PA wasn’t even in the room 5 minutes. This place is a total rip off!Michael FreeUSATina Prosalis Nurse Practitioner billed a patient $669.00 for a Flu Diagnosis And for nothing more than 2 minutes. And 15 words. This is insanity. How can any resident afford to pay rates like this? Memorial administrators are also to blame allowing its Nurse practitioners to get away with grossly abusing the system and overcharging residents. It’s no wonder our medical care system is broken. There is no cap as to what people are charged. This will change. As God as my witness.Brad BennettDon’t choose this hospital. Go anywhere else. I had the worst experience of my life there. Uncaring is not a strong enough word for their emergency room.Jamie Cambron⭐️⭐️The staff was nice enough but very patronizing. I went in after being sick for almost two weeks and was informed there was no doctor there and insinuated I just might have constipation. They did blood work but didn’t tell me the results, just discharged me with a prescription for finnigrin, and I’m still sick. Not to mention I’ll have to pay a huge bill for being patronized.John Carreras⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat service from a spectacular team. N. Georgia is fortunate to have CHI Memorial here in the region.megan arthur⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAlways recieved the best care!!!Tim Lyles⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVisiting in the area for a wedding, my dad fell and cut his head. Very accommodating and efficient and to a person, the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered.Mandy LeighThe level of maturity of the staff iss unbelievable. I’d rather have my 9year old perform a surgery. After my leg getting cut open they had me walk across the emergency room to use the bathroom and there was one right by my room. After 4 different staff behind the desk yelled bc I was suppose to use the other and they had only halfway treated the area yet went to get my papers to leave…. Mind you I’m pregnant…. The service was worse than McDonalds. So I was just stressed out ready to leave. I went outside to relax and she came out in the parking lot yelling out my info yet this is all suppose to be confidential. So I left without my antibiotics. Ok next day they can’t fax the perscriptiins either. All I needed was professional treatment and my meds and I still haven’t gotten an antibiotic and all they have is attitude. I see why it’s called memorial… They would rather you die than adult and treat you with care and concern. They are dead wrong for treating people the way they do. You don’t have to like me but I pay your bills and I will appeal it and I will not pay. Furthermore I will be taking this and reporting the immaturity and lack of service/professionalism to the Better Buisness Bureau. Now can I still not walk but I have no meds. Due to the lack of people doing their job!James Duvall⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Operated well. Now that chick memorial is operating they will hopefully stay in business. Great for emergencies and some other things such as test X-ray’s etc.Madison Warrenvery rude!!!!! called to get a fax number for medical records and the lady was extremely hateful. this whole place is awful.Amber Gothard⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My wait time was short and the staff was friendly and very attentiveStacie Parker⭐️⭐️Slow, slow, slow…
