Children’s Healthcare Reviews

Before you go to Children’s Healthcare, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Kansas City emergency room think.

dollx Waiting for 4-5 hours isn’t the greatest when you’re child is sick. I seen a kid gagging and crying in pain- no one was even looking. The nurses were nice but not really attentive to the very sick kids, plus they said they would check my baby in 30 min then another an hour after. It was an hour for the 30 min checkup when no one was even being checked on by them and I never even got the hour check up. I got back there just to wait over an hour, while some do didn’t seem to even know what he was doing while checking my son. Don’t think anyone should ever come here.kayla guettermann You will be here for hours and see everyone else get treated before you. Your baby could be throwing up all over the waiting room and they will give you blank stares. We love CMH specialty clinics, but skip the ER.Mallory Lee MELANÇON⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedArrived via Ambulance everyone was exceptional. Very polite. Great with my infant who fell.Hassan Hussein Worst ER experience ever. Waited over 6 hours to get my son to be seen by a doctor.Jenniffer Lindo I took my daughter in because she had a fever bad cough and kept pulling on her ear and hitting it. We had to wait in the waiting room for 4.5 hours to get into a room just for the doctor to tell me it was just a cough that’s going around and I explained her pulling on her ear and he checked her ears and said she just had too much wax nothing to be concerned about. After another 2 hours of just waiting for nothing in the room another female doctor comes in saying it’s an acute respiratory infection to give her Zarabee cough medicine because there is nothing else they could give my 1 year old. I also told her about the ear pulling she didn’t even bother too look in there. As a couple days went by my daughter still has the bad cough and she still was pulling her ear and hitting it I go to a different hospital which they informed me my daughter has an ear infection in one ear ‍♀️ that’s causing her to do all the pulling and hitting so I will probably not be returning to this emergency department because to me it seemed like they didn’t even care enough to check my child well to figure out the problem something that took the doctor who did find a problem 5 minutes. I’m just saying if you don’t like what you do as your job maybe you need to get a new one. ‍♀️Avery Allen⭐️⭐️Very slow service and long wait times. The hospital itself is amazing but the ER was terribleTara McGee Terrible experience and unsafe. My child was left in a waiting room with no clinical staff readily available for hours on end. I finally just left, no one even noticed.Mercedes Sanders Worst experience ever. Staff is trash. They think everything is a joke. & don’t do the right procedures to make sure your child is okay. They come in and talk to you, and basically laugh in your face and come back with discharge paperwork.Samantha Watson-Kitchell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey are always so good with my kids. They are fast and on top of things. I’m so thankful for them!lilgabbzz Terrible! My 3 month old son had been gasping for air and we waited 3 hours and still nothing!!tiffany jacobs Horrible ER experience! The room was filthy (blood and other fluid on the walls) We were there 7-8 hours & then discharged w no answers but told to come back if symptoms persist.Ronald Romans Zzzz
