Gaafar Al-WazerSlow. Expect to be here 5 to 8 hours till you will be able to leave. Emergency room.L M⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI can’t imagine anyone giving this place low stars we have been going to the ER for 3 years now. Myself, our daughter and our 2 year old granddaughter and have always had the best service. The wait was never long, the doctors and nurses were very knowledgeable and caring. I won’t go anywhere else.Erin MurphyAbsolutely terrible experience. Went there for a severe hand injury on 9/14/18. Open wounds and severaly shattered bones that were petruding and eventually needed to be transported to Upenn for emergency Orthopedic reconstructive emergency surgery. But sat with an open, actively bleeding wound and shattered bones in finger for more than 6 hours. Pain medication was given and antibiotics and xrays were done. Someone from xray came in the room with the xrays on the disk and asked “so where are you going” I had no idea what they were talking about. Eventually the doctor came in and said we were being transported to Upenn for Emergency surgery. (Also this was at 9pm and they said transport could not get there until 1230AM. This was unacceptable and i was not letting my bf sit there with an open wound for another 3.5 hours. i spoke to the doctor and nurse and they got another transport team to come within the hour). Nothing was explained about why. Not only that, but the entire time we could here the nurses at the nurse station talking about laughing about the xrays…. saying extremely inappropriate things and making jokes about my Bf almost losing all of this fingers. Thank god for UPenn. WIthin the first 3 hours at penn xrays, bloodwork , ekg were all done and everything was explained to us. within 6 hours he was in Emergency Orthopedic Surgery and is now recuperating very well. Do not go to Wilmington ER. It was the worst hospital experience i have ever had.Bruce jonesArrived at hospital with my 85 year old mother who had fallen. Admitted her to emergency immediately, followed quickly by an X-ray of her wrist. Thanks when service turned very bad. Waited 3.5 hours to have a splint placed on her arm then another 3.5+ hours to read a second X-ray. Take my my advice FIND A DIFFERENT EMERGENCY ROOM. Not enough doctors to treat the volume of patients.Donnie HatfieldI have had 2 experiences with this hospital, and I am not increased. As I am new to deleware I had to come here for medical attention, and so far the nurses, and doctors have lack of caring, and do not seem to show more sympathy for people seeking medical attention. In my opinion this needs to be addressed. Esspiceally if on you Google review it shows only a 1 star rating. I’ve better medical attention in Virginia of all places so you might want to take a lesson. From here on out I will not use this facility anymore. I would really rate no stars if I had a choice thumbs down Lynda PittsWaited 7 hours in pain with a high blood pressureTom CassidyWaited over 5 hrs before I got pissed off and left, and i had 2 open heart surgeries in the last year and was feeling the affects if bronchitis. My cardiologist said to come here and get checked out. In the first 10 minutes I had xray and blood drawn then told to go out to waiting room , 5 hours later NOTHING. Do not go hear .William KloswskiIt would be 0 s. The nurses are good and some dont care. But the constables were seriously out of control angry disrespectful and yes they are above the lawMichelle YoshidaMy 70 year old father was told to go to the Wilmington ER by Med Express for pneumonia. He was told to sit in the waiting room wearing a mask for eight (8) hours. He checked in several times to find out when he could be seen, but was told there were no doctors available to see him. He finally left at 9:30pm to go home and rest, still having not been seen. I am so disappointed in the lack of care and concern of the hospital for their patients.
