Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Burnet Campus Reviews

Before you go to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Burnet Campus, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Cincinnati emergency room think.

Alissa Padgett We live out of state, my child’s doctor is in Cincinnati. We were told to come in town (7 plus hours) on a Saturday and go through the ER to be admitted that there would be notes in the system. Arrived at 7pm ER staff couldn’t find notes even through the on call doctor confirmed she was to be admitted. 4 plus hours in the waiting room before an ER Room, labs drawn and 6 hours later they were admitted to a room that had been held from them the day before. The floor nurse was expecting them. My husband repeatedly tried to explain what we were told and tried to get help since our daughter is not supposed to have this kind of exposure. There was no empathy, no help, no concern, no advocate for the patient. It was a terrible experience I hope no one has to go through.Rebecca Sabo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone at Cincinnati Children’s has been very helpful. They really care about making my daughter comfortable with the procedures. I absolutely love the staff from child life, they are amazing!!!! They make it worth the three hour drive to get the care and respect my family deserves. Thank you for all your hard work!!!!!!precious hill The emergency room was so packed last night I thought I had walked in to a club!!!! Kids everywhere!!!! Staff so rude had to ask for help with my daughter who had just had thigh surgery!!!! We waited 5 hours and everyone we encountered was rude and mean. I don’t know what was in the water last night but the emergency staff was very unprofessionalBritt Huddleston This happened six years ago, but it will always stick with me. I experienced a SA so I went in for STI screening when I was 13. The first lady who took a sample from me asked if “any of my girl friends had this done before”. I was confused as to why she would ask a 13 year old girl that. No, my 12/13 year old friends aren’t running around having sex and getting pelvic exams. I realized it was racial when the second doctor told me I could follow up with the Liberty branch campus. She told me “it’s in a nice area”. I know it is. I live five minutes away and I come from a wealthy family. They assumed I was a poor and “fast” black girl. Even if that was the case you don’t treat people like that! I would never in my life go back to this hospital for any reason, and I would strongly advise that every person of color does the same thing.April Lynn⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSo far so good, my son is being treated there for a chest wall condition and they have been very thorough. Great hospital, even though it’s an hour and a half drive, this will now be our go to place.Hannah DO NOT GO HERE FOR ASTHMA! I’ve came here twice for an asthma attack and both times they’ve completely failed me, didn’t even give me a breathing treatment or steroid shot which literally everywhere I’ve ever been has done, even when my vitals were better. Today I came in barely able to talk, which the woman at the front desk immediately noticed and asked my partner questions for me. Then, I get called back and the nurse bombards me with 20 questions about medical history when I visibly am struggling to breathe and can’t say full sentences, having a moderate asthma attack. She got nasty when I was visibly annoyed and struggling. They did nothing but treat me condescendingly and give me an inhaler and steroid pills. No breathing treatment even though I specifically asked for one. It is terrifying that they don’t even know how to treat asthma attacks. I would hate for someone with severe asthma to come here in an emergency and die because of their neglect. This is crazy and unacceptable and I will never go back. Maybe they treat children more seriously? I guess when it comes to teenagers they don’t care. Neglectful doctors and nurses who don’t listen to your concerns.ALI Q Billing is extremely unorganized. Got charged with all kinds of services that weren’t even provided to my new born at the hospital. Ended up paying just to get rid of the hustle of phone calls and bad customer service and they ended up sending me more bills. 4 Months after delivery today and I just received another bill!Tasha M Worse Childrens hospital I have ever been to. I arrived at 6:15 pm, it’s 9:55 pm and we are still in the waiting room. My daughters were never offered a coloring book or anything but I watched as Lindsey offered all the Caucasian children coloring books and crayons. I asked numerous questions before checking in which no one could answer.. after almost 4 hours in the waiting room I had to use the restroom Cara came back over and retriaged my child without me present and then standing by the bathroom door. She basically informed me my child’s situation was not an emergency. There is a such thing as respect and this hospital has not showed it for parents or our children. Since I’ve waited this long I will stay but this is my last time dealing with children’s ER.. I will drive to Louisville before I allow someone to disrespect myself or my children. It’s always the people That are suppose to be respectful and first contact that are rude. I will post again whenever we finally get back to be treated.Clayton Koenig⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’m not sure why this hospital is rated number 2 in the nation it should be number 1!!!!! Fast and Great treatment my child had a horrible problem that another hospital failed to treat and nearly cost him his sight! But children’s figured it out and he was treated within the hour. Do not even consider taking your child anywhere else but hereAlisa Robertson My 13 year old daughter has meningitis, I took her to children’s hospital last night where we sat in the waiting exposing everyone for 2.5 hours! We seen triage fairly quickly, but never went further, people after people coming in, going back and seen leaving! We left went to a ky hospital and she’s now admitted with meningitis! To be such a great hospital, why did she expose so many people, and with something that kills people?Laneigh Walters⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey have helped my 9 year old WAY more than the last Children’s Hospital she went to. Even though it’s farther from home, we love it here.Courtney Sand⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedIn the last 4 years my son has had roughly 15 hospital stays and is followed by multiple departments. CCHMC has the best staff! They are like family to us!Elizabeth Lee⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWonderful hospital and staff. Can’t ask for better!Joey Ferraro⭐️⭐️⭐️Thanks so much for your help
