Melanie Yocom⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had to go to the ER on a Saturday morning due to an accident. I had called ahead and spoke with “Melissa”. When we arrived, my experience started out great… an EMT (or paramedic) moved a chair so I could get closer to the registration desk (in a w/c), Melisa (a PCT) came out and applied ice to the injury, I was taken back within 10 minutes, seen by a RN almost immediately and he was professional and kind. Dr. Nix (wonderful), was in pretty soon thereafter, examined, ordered tests. Radiology was in pretty soon after him, results were back quicker than I’ve ever seen. Dr. Nix followed and didn’t treat me like I should know everything (he explained things so great), then gave a dc order. Then followed a LPN who was very kind and he went over everything, then took me out to our car. It was a fabulous experience and we were in there from arrival to discharge 1 HOUR! That is unheard of in ERs… My daughter and her family have decided based upon my care, that they will be switching over to CMH… YAYErinI had less than desirable care when I was a patient there after surgery, but chose not to post a review at that time, because although the care was subpar and compassionate was not on the spectrum, I was ok. However, it’s quite different when it’s someone else that you care about receiving horrible and unsafe care! A patient showed up in the ER with c/o CP SOA and nausea. They pull patient back do an EKG, send patient back to waiting room. Here’s the problem with this: no vitals and they didn’t hear patients hx which factors into the concern. Pt recent dx of ca, had radioactive tx. Thyroglobulin levels increased vs decreasing with treatment. Pt had thyrogen injection today. Kicker: pt has cardiac history! After getting upset that she had sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes no vitals or anyone doing a double check, Maria, house supervisor says-“we did an EKG-well get to her soon. We had a trauma” well Maria that’s all fine and dandy, I am impressed you got an EKG because at this point I questioned if that was common place, BUT you can have a beautiful EKG and still have a NSTEMI. Exactly, how do you properly get an ESI on someone without vitals? Like that’s step two of the algorithm!! 1) are they dying- no, 2) ok-what’s their vitals? It’s no wonder you can’t keep providers there! Oh! And then it was another 50 minutes before anyone came to check on patient. Readers digest version: you had a cp in the waiting room for 90 minutes with no vitals……Good grief!! I’d hate to see your door to balloon times!Kaylee PlaysRobloxWent to the ER Monday, October 28, 2019…sometime after 11 pm. All they did was diagnose my husband. Didn’t even prescribe him anything. Went to the walk in clinic today (10/30/19) and they prescribed him medication. Thanks for the expensive bill ER!!!Seele Heiler⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCitizens Memorial Hospital delivered outstanding service throughout the entire emergency room process. Everyone with whom we came in contact was professional, friendly, and happy to be at work. ALL OF THEM! The ER admissions clerk was smiling with mouth, voice, eyes and actions. Her goal was to provide a positive patient experience while collecting the somewhat tedious demographic info the facility needs. I wish I could remember her name: A+. Steve the travelling nurse. Patient focused, kind spirited and compassionate. Very busy but not rushed. Genuinely cares about his patients. A+. Brianna, the Ultrasound tech kind, gentle, caring encouraging, professional and friendly. A+. The doctor kind, down to earth, efficient, friendly. A+. Absolutely recommend CMH.Darlene RiggsMy brother went to emergency room last night. The doctor was incompetent he wanted him to walk when he had fell and he was hurt didn’t even want to do a x-ray with out being asked to have one done. When asked to have my brother transported to Mercy hospital in Springfield they refused to transport him. Sent him to a nursing home said he need rehab so he could get physical therapy. We found out that they threatened him too. When he has Muscular Dystrophy. Refused to do MRI when he says he feels like there something broken. I wouldn’t take my dog there. We got him to Mercy hospital they did a CT Scan and found that he has a fracture vertebrae he in a brace now until it heals. They even knew the doctor that had seen at CMH and said know for being a bad doctor that he doesn’t take good care of any of his patients.Vickie⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was at the ER last week at CMH everyone !! Was very kind and courteous !! I feel as that I got excellent care much better care then I ever received at Cox or Mercy , cox rolled me out on a gurney and left my there in the hallway for hours on end wanted to send me home and I had an intestinal blockage that would have killed me if I went homeLena Brown⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommendedemergency room visit and was admitted with a life threatening illness. I have never recieved such great care at a hospital. caring and considerate, intelligent and mind staff all around. excellent Dr’s and nurses, all staff. even the food was good with GREAT sweet tea. super nice people there. they took very good care of me and were kind to any visitors I had. If you had to be in a hospital, these are the professionals you would want around you!Wayne Sims⭐️⭐️My husband is here now as we speak. He has not been checked on not once by his nurse. He has a bulging/slipped disc and is in tears which is not normal for him to cry at all. No one has given him anything for pain nor even came to check on him to see if he needs anything at all. Usually we come to this hospital because we have always had great experiences here. Not today. We will not be back at all. I shouldnt have even gave it two stars honestly. Sad.Jacque Crawford⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is a caring hospital, caring nurses, the food was good. Great care.Victoria Riddle⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMoved here from St Louis, known for top hospitals, and have been extremely pleased with the level of care at CMH in Bolivar..small town!! I am impressed with every aspect of this hospital and Doctors building across street. I have had 3 operations there and have seen doctors from CMH and have high regards for them. By the way..it is INCREDIBLE not to have to wait in line all day with tons of people running around and being able to navigate where things are…well, it is WONDERFUL.FireproofWhen I went to the CMH Walk-In Clinic a few days ago, they didn’t offer me a wheelchair, considering I had an injury to my left ankle and could barely stand…let alone walk. One star because they did not offer me a wheelchair.Kevin HI feel like every person working here did a on the spot interview and got hired……deer licks..PB&J Enterprises⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe nursing staff were Angels ……so compassionate! The emergency department is the best !!Joshua CarrollWatched a man with stage 4 pancreatic cancer get treated like garbage in his room. CMH staff thought they smelled smoke or marijuana. Nothing was found after CMH had the police come into the patients room. The police proceeded to search all the bags and made smarmy remarks to a dying man “Marijuana’s saving your life?” What a sick condescending thing to say. Shame on CMH for what they put this man through.Ashley ElliottTheir ER is one of the biggest jokes! Having a disabled child already a concern, an ER is somewhere that you are SUPPOSE to go and be able to trust your care team. That is not EVEN CLOSE to what you get at CMH. In September my daughter was in ER, sedated, REQUIRED OXYGEN and was misdiagnosed with pneumonia. When I went back for something unrelated a couple weeks later, the charge nurse recognized me and asked how she was doing on medications….would’ve been great and super thoughtful HAD ANY MEDICATION/PHONE CALL BEEN MADE! Oh, I forgot to mention that they FAILED TO DOCUMENT THAT SHE REQUIRED OXYGEN! I reached out to the director or the ER, her name is Jamie, who filed a grievance “on my behalf,” and that she would look into what happened, and follow up with the patient advocate (Kim), and have her call me. I received something in the mail stating “we would have a decision soon;” that was a couple months ago. I called Jamie two weeks ago, no answer, left a voicemail, I have yet to hear back from her, I also haven’t heard a single thing from Kim. Fast forward to tonight, I get a call from a close family/friend that I need to come up there and help her with something. When I got there, she was being told that they “couldn’t get any of her medications but two and she needed to see if someone could go to her house (45 minutes one way) and pick them up and bring them back.” Her child, who is also disabled, is being flown to St. Louis Children’s Hospital tonight, and has been without her daily medications for hours now. The nurse, Josh, asked if there was anything else we could do to get her medication, I stepped out to get some water and call the pharmacy to see if there was anyway we could get them. After I made that phone call, I was made to leave for “causing problems,” for getting medication that Josh and Rhonda (charge nurse), reportedly had absolutely no way of getting. I have never had any issues with Rhonda before tonight. I have had my fair share of issues with Josh, so much that in September, Jamie pulled him off of my daughters case as soon as he walked in the room. That didn’t stop him from trying to give her IV meds, which he walked into the room, didn’t say a single thing to me or her, grabbed the IV tubing, and tried to inject. I stopped him and asked what he was administering and was told, “what else would it be?” Also, his comment tonight that “I’m really sorry, I have no idea what I’m doing,” didn’t go over well, and when asked why he was there if he didn’t know anything he replied “they pay me to show up and be halfway attractive.” That behavior is completely unprofessional, and staff like that is half the reason this hospital is seen as a complete joke.Doc YoungYour action with the termanally ill gentleman is reprehensible. I sincerely hope he and his family file lawsuits.W H⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFrom long-term care, family physician and lab, to radiology, ambulance and the ER–we’ve used all of these CMH services over the last few days with a family member. We’ve received outstanding and personalized care by a very caring and compassionate team. Excellent!Trina Banner⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have never been disappointed in the care we’ve received at CMH. It’s always been wonderful… friendly, timely, accurate, caring and beneficial. We have the upmost confidence in the doctors, nurses, radiologists, physical therapists and staff. Bolivar is definitely blessed to have such a great hospital!Deborah Clark⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I love this hospital. I will never go to Springfield again.JorgeThis hospital makes the last days of a dying patient into the worst day of their lives, all for a plant that grows from the Earth. Shame on the person who called and I hope karma gives them justiceShannon Andresen“Doctor is really behind tonight” we’ve been here 4 hours and the doctor has been holding up the door frame for 20 minutes… chatting it up with the nursing staff. SHOULD HAVE GONE TO SPRINGFIELD. Zero sense of urgency and very little regard for patients care.Kayla StevensThis hospital doesn’t genuinely care for its patients. Poorly trained, invasive nursing staff.Hayim LevinDirty goyim hospital called the cops on a dying cancer patient.Devin Galloway⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI would say Dr. Guhl is the best doctor in the world. Dr. Guhl and her team deliver my baby at 5 am. They were fast and very kind and let us know what was happeing the whole time. We will for sure have any future kids with her.Philip Moreland⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMiss Paige is a marvelous worker. She gets things done. Kind, friendlyJeremy Fletcher⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOur daughter fell and broke her arm and was treated here in the ED. We live 45 minutes away from the hospital and had her seen, arm set, casted, and her back in her own bed within 5 hours. From the EMS crew who came to our house, to registration, radiology, nursing staff, and the various doctors and PA involved with her care-everyone was great! Our family could not have asked for a better group of individuals to take care of our child.Jesse MartinDo not go here if you have stage 4 cancer.Michelle WolfThis hospital sucks this hospital is only good for is killing people. Can’t wait till Mercer hospital come in bolivar mcg will be out of hereClint C.Their treatment of stage 4 cancer patients is beyond reprehensibleEmily HarveyThe staff shows a real lack of empathy for patients.Heather HankinsThis ER left me lay in a hospital bed with flies landing on me after two consecutive grand mal seizures and a huge knot on my head. They did nothing at all for me. Just let me lay there and cry and then sent me home with nothing to ease the pain or even an ounce of compassion or care even though I could not speak due to the seizures. I was told by the doctor that I was not considered and emergency. They didn’t even walk us to the door. It’s a sad story in America when a disabled veteran with PNES and PTSD is treated so poorly when they put their life on the line for the doctors and nurses at this hospital. Absolutely disgraceful!Greg CrossNever work here again, they let me go for no reasonRay FarmerAfter taking my mother-in-law over there for various tests, we were told that she had a brain tumor. She was referred to a doctor in Springfield and after tests were done there, they found NO BRAIN TUMOR. Unbelievable !!!!Eran Dawson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy family and I use CMH for all of our healthcare needs and have great experiences throughout the system. Everyone at CMH treats us like family and go above and beyond to provide us with the best care. We’ve been to the ER recently with a sick infant on two separate occasions and were treated with utmost urgency and concern. We live 45 minutes from three different hospitals and we always choose CMH for their care, compassion, and service.Erin Jespersen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI just got home from a surgery and had a wonderful experience. All the doctors and nurses were wonderful. Thank you very muchChad HughesCalling the cops on a terminal ill patient that will soon die, shows you how much they really care for the people they’re supposed to be taking care of it’s so sad.Stephanie Daughrity⭐️⭐️I ended up going to the E.R. because my throat was swelling up. The paramedic that was in the back of the ambulance with me was able to open my throat back up before we got to the hospital. I was covered in hives and a little shaken. The doctor came into the room with a very bad attitude as if I had no right to be there. She looked at me and said you’re fine you can go home , then walked out of the room. The two nurses that were in there after her were very nice to me. I wouldn’t say C.M.H. is a bad health facility because my family doctor works in the clinic behind it and he is an amazing doctor. ___To the User down a little bit you spoke about Dr. Buggs and I know just how you feel. I went in 6 years ago (when she still worked there) and I will never forget her. She was awful, I was 4 months pregnant and I was having a lot of pain and cramps in my stomach and she checked me out and said there isn’t any reason I should be having pain because I’m not pregnant. The next day I had a miscarriage. It was one of the more horrifying things I’ve ever seen. I wrote a very upsetting letter about her to the hospital and I never saw her again.Josh OberbeckDon’t waste your time, rude, slow and they don’t care about you especially if you’re a child. I’d give them a negative rating if I could. Just drive to springfield you won’t regret itTammy Davis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWonderful lifesaving care for my mother in law. Very attentive, sweet staff in the icu.Doug Renshaw⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI love my Doctors and their staff. They are very professional and attentive. I’m very fortunate to have them caring for me! CMH ROCKS!Kansas ReaThe only good thing about cmh is my pcp and a couple other DR’s, the ER on the other hand is HORRIBLE crappy attitude centralChris OxPiss poor excuse for a hospital. Don’t waste your time, just go to a city hospital.Tammy Mcguire⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCant describe enough how wonderful & the care & love this hospital gives Saving lives is this hospital’s motif❤️ Saving my husband as he endures Cancer- most loving care they give him! Ty Bonnie Kennedy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy Brother was taken to this Hospital by ambulance, he was raving about the care he received, in his own words, I have never been treated so promptly with compassion and loving care, after attending to his mis placed hip they allowed him to sleep for several hours before releasing him. He stated he finally found a medical team and in the future all his medical will be there and he will be moving there as soon as possible to be close to the Hospital and Doctors…He has suffered with 6 hip mis-placements and four operations to replace them so you can see why. Also the other hospital did not give him any sedation to pop the thing back in leaving him to suffer with horrible pain and the memory of it 5 times before. The doctors at CMH sedated him!!!!! a big difference from the brutal care he previously received in Clinton.Nichole SaylerIt’s ok if you only have a minor injury but you are far better off just driving the 30 minutes to Mercy, where you will get the correct diagnosis and treatment the first time around. Plus CMH has a terrible billing department it is impossible to speak with anyone and if you leave a message they don’t return your calls.Barbara Tipton⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAwesome excellent. The best ever top not 5 stars not a high bench rating there the best.Levi Kemp5+ hour ER wait times are rediculous.Jamie Butler soon to be Mrs. Jordan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedLove our food, employees, it’s a great place to workDave WIt’s a ‘duck pond’…need I say moreTesla MartinThese doctors are dumb.Kyra ZimmermanAwful
