Community Medical Center Reviews

Before you go to Community Medical Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Missoula emergency room think.

Jon Swallow⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone at this hospital was not only professional but understanding. They put up with me when I was not my best. The care they provided however was top notch. I would choose to go to this hospital any time I was in need. It is not a stretch to say they saved my life. From the hospitalist to the specialist and everyone in between including nurses and staff I thank you.Jenna McVey⭐️⭐️I recently visited Community with my partner while she had a routine procedure done. While the procedure went smoothly and to plan, I still must say I was quite disappointed with the staff, all the way from the receptionists to the nurses. Without going into too much detail, my partner is transgender and very much presents as the gender she identifies. She was required to list the hormones she takes on a normal basis under her medications, so this was definitely made clear to the staff. However, because she still hasn’t legally changed her name or her sex, the staff referred to her by her deadname and incorrect pronouns throughout the entire procedure. Even after I said her correct pronouns to the nurse, she still continued to use the incorrect ones. In my view, Community must do better in this aspect of their patient care. Everyone at the hospital, from the receptionists to the nurses to the doctors, should be prepared to ask every patient’s preferred name and pronouns. It takes literally less than a minute and makes the entire procedure much more comfortable for the patient and their loved ones. Community, please do better and implement this into your practices. Cater to all of your patients, not just the majority.Donna Kilpatrick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThese people were so good to my Son. All the nurses, as well as Physicians, in the ER, ICU, and regular Hospital floor were *EXCEPTIONAL*!!! Also the pre and post surgery Nurses, and the helpers and cleaning crew. Just *PHENOMENAL*. 110% Satisfied as a Parent if my most precious Son. The surgery was a great success and he has fully recovered. Best Nurses I have ever experienced in my 55 years on Planet Earth.shpherdheartfarm solum Check in, nurses excellent. Doc only screened for blood, heart attack, stroke. I left in an as much acute health situation as I came in after driving 6 hours. Hospital refused to provide my labs so that I could self treat my acute health crisis. Head of hospital refused to help provide my records so I could find relief. What ate they hiding? I will be not pay this bill. I was paying for medical treatment, not screening for things that I knew were not my problem. I received no yreatment. If this hospital only screens for three things they should advise their patients. Patient records should always be made available to patient not every other person and entity.LisaKay Epstein I went to the Emergency Room at Community Hospital on Saturday Sept 7th. I was experiencing severe upper back spasms. I was greeted nicely, and ushered in. I explained my plight, as well a the measures I had taken before presenting myself for treatment. They gave me a Valium to relax my spasm as well as a Lidocaine patch. After 1 hour there was no relief. Then they decided to rule out a kidney stone…negative. My spasms were getting worse. The physician …Dr Friend, was the attending Dr, and did not even look at the visible spasming going on. After an additional hour and change, I was given a Anti-inflammatory injection…Toredol. This did not help. It was then decided that In would receive a “Norco” dose…I fully stated in ALL my medical records that I am allergic to Codeine as well as Vicodin. It gives me a rash.Norco is the same as Vicodin. Before taking the pill I asked the nurse to make sure this would not make me itch or have a reaction. She assured me it would not. I starting itching after about 20-30 minute. I requested a Benadryl and was given a sub therapeutic dose of 25 mg. My pain was just as bad as went I went in, Dr Friend then informed me that they were.not going to do anything else and I should contact a Spine Specialist on Monday. I was treated as if I was a drug seeking individual …which I am definitely NOT. I was given 3, 5 mg Valium to bring home …I took as directed along with another dose of Ibuprofen. I have spent the last 24 hours in pain. I know there are several other oral muscle relaxants on the market that may help me, but either the Hospital Protocol or a Dr’s opinion I was not given an option. It is Sunday evening, I’ve been is extreme pain for over 24 hours with no place to turn to, with any luck, I can get into see the recommended Spine Dr. I am going to be filing a complaint with the Hospital Administration and every other agency I can. I am not seeking any legal action, but I am seeking an explanation. I DO NOT USE any drug for recreation, and I am angry for being treated as if I am. Meanwhile, my rights to have been given pain relief that is sufficient has been ignored.Montana Beard⭐️⭐️The last few times I have taken myself or my child in the nurses have been extremely rude. The waits are way longer than any other ER I have been too. I refuse to go there anymore, I would rather drive the extra distance and go to St. Pat’s.Austin Hartsell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe doctor and team of nurses that helped me several times with my anxiety treat me extremely well and help keep me calm without medication. Very professional.Dana Breiland⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had a very caring experience when I went in to the Emergency Room, they put my mind at ease, treated me, and sent me on my way feeling prepared. I also had my 3rd cesarean at Community and had the best care out of my 3 pregnancies. The nurses and my doctor were amazing and made my recovery that much better.Alex Childs Rita W. In the Emergency Registration department was absolutely awful to deal with. Completely rude.Alyssa Leno⭐️⭐️They’re kind, but the rooms are dirty, service was bad both of the times my mother and I were here. They didn’t do mandatory things, didn’t check blood pressure, didn’t run an IV, took forever to give us our results back (mind you it isn’t even busy), didn’t treat my mother for anything, didn’t give us very many details on anything, etc. I’ve received better service from this place to be honest. In all of the times that I’ve been here within these past 6 months, it hasn’t been too great, and I’m at the hospital very frequently, sad to say.Tracy Murphy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff in the ICU treated my husband like gold. I was very pleased they were concerned with his safety at every step..I can see patient care is there first priority. This is my first choice for any health care my family needs. 5 stars IUC staff Adam, Connie, and Jack.Andy Duram⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCommunity medical center saved my life. Literally, and figuratively. The medical attention I recieved prevented me from passing away. I was overjoyed. Then the bill came. I wanted to pay because I truly appreciate all the help I recieved, but couldn’t afford such a large amount of money. I applied for financial assistance. I just recieved a letter stating that they are forgiven the entire amount that was not paid by insurance. I am so overwhelmed, overjoyed, and thankful. Truly the most amazing experience i’ve ever had at a medical center/hospital.Greg Chapman Similar experience as Jamie Clegg. Our son broke his ankle. Went to Emergency Room, waited for 2 hours. Finally was seen by doctor. Doc saw our son for 5 minutes max. Assistant applied tong splint. We were in the treatment room a total of 30 minutes. We got bills from hospital and doctor for over 3,000.00. we were charged for services that were not even performed. I filed a complaint with Labor and Industry in Helena for abusive billing.Deborah Raunig What a joke! I told my daughter to call this number after receiving A frantic call concerning a medical condition. A friend overhearing the conversation suggested the new Community Medical Center Nurse on Call Program. My daughter called the number and was put on hold for around 20-30 minutes. A nurse then came on the phone, requested her number and said they would call her back. They never called back. I am asuming this was a big “free advertising” ploy by our new “for profit” Community Hospital..AKA Billings Clinic. Thank you talk radio and all the other promoters of this non existent service.Lisa Olney⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat services. Everyone was politeKalyn Ward⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe nurses, techs, registration people, and physician we’re all great. They listened to what I had to say and helped me greatly.Karmen Braulik⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey are fast and helpful. Kind and caringBilly Brownard⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery helpful for my wife during her pregnancy, Dr Harvey has been great!Willis Deshner⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDr.Harvey was the best obgyn that my fiance had, even though he wasn’t the doctor who delivered my son , doctor Wyman was a great doctor. The nurses in labor and delivery my fiance had were great, especially Jessica S who was her labor nurse. Harvey and Wyman are the top 2 best obgyn at community . Thanks for all the work you guys did to have my son safely delivered on April 21st,2018.Adelle Reissing I will never go to this hospital again. Worst communication ever.Jamie Clegg⭐️⭐️⭐️Originally went to an urgent care after hours because my daughter scratched her eye on a tree branch. They didn’t have a special UV light to observe the eye and we were directed to the ER. For 15 minutes in a room I was charged 380 dollars and over 80 dollars for a single drop of contrast fluid. I was told I could receive a 20 percent discount if I paid at the time of service. So I paid the bill and asked if that was all. I wasn’t told that I would receive a bill separately for the doctors services- which amounted to 2 minutes of putting the drop in and looking at the eye, and 5 minutes of “discussing” why my daughter should have an irrelevant vaccination after she saw we didn’t vac on her chart. For all 7 minutes of her time there im charged over 350 dollars. I will never use Community’s services again. With highway robbery like that they should be shut down for monopolizing people’s wallets. To say the least I’m very put out about their dishonest billing.
