Before you go to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Upland emergency room think.
Hamid ZangenehAVOID THIS PLACE. IT IS CALLED EMERGENCY ROOM. HOWEVER, IT IS ANYTHING BUT AN EMERGENCY ROOM. I HAVE BEEN SITTING HERE FOR ALMOST 3 HOURS BECAUSE OF DIZZINESS, CHEST PAIN, AN PASSING BLOOD AND THEY TELL ME YOU HAVE TO WAIT LONGER BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MANY PATIENTS COMING THROUGH TODAY. WHAT A SHAME.Nkrantz04⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNot the best hospital but everyone was very nice and seemed to get my injury healed .Kitty QI got here at around 1 am and was seen right away by an awesome doctor Dr. Ritz and then her supervisor Dr.Jacobs came in and was so rude. I obviously have an abscessed tooth which has caused my face to become extremely swollen she grabbed my face and put so much pressure directly in the swelling that I had to ask her to at least try to be gentle which only led to her doing the same thing while also giving me a huge attitude. I have never felt so belittled by a medical professional what a disgrace.Charlie Smith⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Was not my favorite hospital, then I got used to the level of care here and don’t want to go anywhere else. I found the staff knowledgable and polite.Letitia Coleman⭐️⭐️I was in ER with my son from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. When leaving, I requested doctor’s notes for my job and my son’s school. The notes were folded up in my discharge papers, and after an exhausting day, I left .I get home to put the doctor’s notes in our bags for thr morning and find they are writren for a different patient. I called the ER to request a fax of the correct notes and was told I have to return to the hospital. When I stated that I cannot come back and my son needs to return to school, I was told there is nothing they can do. I was then told I would be transferred and left on hold for several minutes. When someone picked up, it was the same woman who put me on hold, then she hung up.Matthew PrideThis may be the single worst hospital in operation. A friend of mine was experiencing severe pain due to intestinal inflammation. Took him to this hospital 3 times, yes 3 times, because it was the closest one and he couldn’t make it to another. Needless to say, they had no idea what was wrong with him, and diagnosed him with a “stomach bug” all three times. Clear medical malpractice. Not to mention every single person from the security guard all the way to the doctor was incredibly rude. No sense of urgency. gave me an attitude for no reason. Absolutely ridiculous. This place should be shut down, and all of their employees should be banned from working at another hospital.Franco SeverusWe’ve been going to this hospital so many times over the years but this the first time they did a terrible job taking care of my Mom. They discharge her in a matter of few hours with very high blood pressure and they just didn’t care. The emergency doctor seemed that he want just to get rid of her and didn’t care about her well being or safety and said “there is nothing we can do just call her primary doctor and follow up with her”. Terrible care and unacceptable. I contacted the patients relations office and hopefully see results because apparently I’m not the only one complaining and there are no improvements.Darius FassettBetter off going to cvs and get meds yourself.. been sitting in the er while my son has a fever of 103.7 for 1 hour 19mins and counting… only seen one nurse while the other two having a convo about soaking feet smh worst hospital on the east coastMarcia N.Shameful is an understatement! Still waiting for answers. Tried getting my brother help for much needed mental/medical via telephone and was shown nothing but disrespectfulness and absolute unprofessionalism and am now left with scant information and wondering if he was, in fact, mistreated and just put out on the streets with absolutely nothing. Crisis center? Really? Well, if I don’t hear from my brother soon or hear something from someone as to his condition, whereabouts and/or his safety, I will begrudgingly make the hour drive there and I will, without a doubt, be showing someone a CRISIS they won’t soon forget!Seraphita RoseI visited a cousin who had been medially admitted for having seizures. He had a Hx of cardiac problems but had never had seizures previously. I walk into his room to find him actively seizing and bashing his face into the railing on the bed. I placed my hand in the way so he would hit that instead of the metal. He had already bloodied his lip and his nose. After screaming for help for a solid 4 minutes, a nurse finally walked in. She stated, “we’ve given him the max dose of anticonvulsants we can give him. There’s nothing else we can do.” Never cleaned him up, never did anything. Needless to say, I had him transferred to Jefferson within three hours.Linda FeldmanJuly 19 ANYONE WHO STEPS THRU THEIR DOORS, BEWARE!!!! If I could, I would rate this hospital zero stars (and I use the term hospital very very loosely!) My husband had suicidal thoughts more than a week ago. Because he has many medical issues, hewas admitted to medical floor under an involuntary commitment first for 72 hrs, then 120 hrs, and now a 20 day commitment! Maybe they have their reasons, but eventhough he wants help and is willing to sign himself in, is no longer suicidal, and has been offered out-pt treatment, he is still on a 303 commitment! As long as he is being held against his will, they are legally obligated to maintain his safety, but the only safety measure being taken is that the psychiatrists see him everyday! (Like he couldn’t change his mind and kill himself in the mean time!) All I want is some simple questions answered, but all I get is the run around or except for the social worker, no return phone calls! From my experience, the safety of all mental health patients is the very top priority! And since they have not given him the opportunity to sign himself in or given any explanation at this point, this is borderline kidnapping! I’ll admit, I was and still am extremely frustrated, and went ballistic yesterday to the point that I am supposedly banned from the hospital, although I had to find that out from my husband! I don’t want him to go to the psych unit! I DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, AND I AM SO VERY, VERY SORRY AND SCARED BECAUSE I TOOK HIM THERE! Every person on the outside who I have talked to has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE! DO NOT! DO NOT GO THERE OR TAKE A LOVED ONE THERE!!! IT’S A DANGEROUS AND SCARY PLACE! Their medical staff isn’t much better, and I’m beginning to believe their staff have gotten their licenses from the back of a matchbook cover! Any one who is or will be a patient there are in my prayers, b/c only God can help them!!!! July 20 Finally heard from PR and social worker! Now that my husband has been medically cleared, he is still on a medical floor, and they refuse to lift the 303 commitment, as I was told that the doctors feel that he is still a threat to himself, and his safety needs to be maintained, after all he could go outside where he could do anything!!! This would be absolutely hysterical, if it weren’t so serious! I don’t think she knew what to say when I told her that we had gone outside the hospital twice and was off the floor for over an hour on Tuesday, and the psych doc knew it and it supposedly wasn’t concerned about it! Besides that I deliberately brought harmful contraband in just to see if the psych doc wd notice, and she didn’t! (Oh, yes, I can sleep well at nite knowing just how well he is being cared for!) I am a former psych nurse. I may not have worked in the field for six yrs, but I know a patient’s and their loved rights, and right now, it has appeared they have broken the law repeatedly! I want my husband or me to see the documentation that upholds his 303, which is our right and their legal obligation! I checked with a very reliable and legal source who says that at this point it is considered kidnapping! This is almost like the horror stories about mental health practiced in the 1880’s! I guess they think that if they ignore me, I’ll finally give up! They don’t know me; I will continue to take action until I stop getting the run around or get my SIMPLE questions answered! I’m not asking for the impossible! They should be sued for false advertising for considering themselves as a “medical center!” Oh, I never received a call back from administration, but I’ll excuse them because I’m sure they were out of their office, praying at the green altars of the almighty dollar bill and insurance companies! I wd ask how these people sleep at night, but I know they don’t, not b/c they have a conscience, but b/c they’re counting their money! I feel scared for anyone who doesn’t have an advocate! They should be sued for false advertising for considering themselves a health care facility!Kevin Hill⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Went to the E.R. recently with a minor eye issue, thought it was a chip of glass when I went in, luckily it wasn’t. I was helped extremely quickly, and everyone of the staff was very friendly, down to the security guard when I was leaving (Have a good night, don’t text and drive) and the parking attendant.Cora_ DCThese people will not do anything unless you’ve been staved or shot, they are the worse. The ambulance got some disgusting people too cause if you know I’m having an anxiety attack badly don’t be asking questions and just help me not force me to move. They come in without their equipment and they made me walk when they knew I couldn’t Feel my legs. So unprofessional, aside that they take really long to get to someone.John BerardiCROZER SUCKS WORST PLACE TO WORK I WILL NEVER COME BACK THERE TO WORK EVEN IF U BEGGED ME BUNCH OF FOOLS F*** you CROZERCrushing DailyWorst group of nurses, just simply rude and don’t wanna workViolet MenardeLeft my husband with a dislocated hip for 19 hours Stephanie Lafrance does not advocate for patientsJeremy CrouthamelHorrible group of nurses don’t want to do anything and same with doctors doing anythingMarlene RoblesWorst everElizabeth Caballero⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommended(Translated by Google) Excellent, very kind medical attention (Original) Excelente atención médica muy amables
