Before you go to Emergency Center at Cape Cod Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Hyannis emergency room think.
Heather Perry⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went to the ER a few days ago because I had experienced several hours of severe abdominal pain. I only had to wait about 10 minutes before being brought to a room. RN Amy came in right away to help me get comfortable and Dr. Cornwall came in soon after. A diagnostic work up was developed and quickly executed. I am very happy with my experience at CCH. I will not hesitate to go there again should the need arise.MiKa AnD JoJaThe wait is too long… nice renovation you’d think with all those new rooms they wouldn’t make you wait for a hour in pain but they do. The wait is ridiculous might as well call a ambulance if you have mass health you will be priority! Next time coming by ambulance! Only one doctor in the whole emergency room seeing people…Worst hospital ever.Joanne Topham⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI would like to commend the ER staff at CCH ER. I have had 4 visits there in one month..each time I was seen within minutes, the rooms, bed were very clean. Nurses, docs very attentive.Special shout out to ER DR. Sigsbee, he is a miracle worker!Ben HemingwayWhile on vacation my 5 year old daughter with cancer needed to visit the ER. While there they brought us to a room with soiled linen on the bed. We had to wait for them to change it. Then my daughter got into the bed. They raised the side rail on the bed to reveal that it was covered in blood!!!!! My heart sank to the floor! We should have walked away at that moment! They proceeded to clean the bed more thoroughly and apologized. After that the amount of care we received amounted to an apple juice, and some tylenol. They left us in the room for 5 hours while they decided our best course of action. They couldn’t agree on what to do with the urine sample my daughter gave them so it sat on the counter for the last 2 hours we were there. We finally got up and left without being discharged. I hope for our sake that we do not ever have to go back there.Soundengineerskid⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedProfessional and kind staff here who treated me this morning for an injury from a fall. Excellent care.Bernd GeelsHorrific. I am currently being held against my will after coming to the hospital ER 12 hours ago. It is after midnight and I cannot sleep because they will not give me a room where I can turn the light off. I will be filing a formal complaint against this hospital. Don’t come here unless there is no way you can get off Cape.James Zakon⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWhat A Great And Lovely Place. I was so impressed with Cape Cod Hospitals Emergency room area. I had an accident with a hedge trimmer that cut open two fingers not caused by the blade bit a defective design which caused a velocity injury by the handle and electrical cord plastic stem. My fingers were a mess, I had a loose flap on one finger and bloody and cut deep, the other finger has a cut through the nail and finger. I never wanted to ever be in an emergency room for anything out of pure fear. The Cape Cod Hospital Emergency Room area is so modern, well laid out, ultra clean and totally non threatening. The staff was so professional, warm, and very supportive in a scary situation as with my injuries. They reassured me on everything they would do to repair my injuries. They were perfect in everything they did and explained every step of the way what they were performing and the result that was ideal. I was totally relaxed and felt very good in such a situation. This great facility should be an example to other Hospitals as how to treat a patent and keep the patient relaxed in a stressful situation. The folks get an A+++ in my book and really helped me and changed the way I feel about hospitals. If you have to go to an emergency room, this is the place you want to be. I can’t thank the staff enough for their help, professionalism and most importantly, their extreme kindness.Dena WolfIf you love an individual with developmental disabilities, take them elsewhere if possible.Oscar RobinsonDr. Loberman, Cape Cod Healthcare, and Cape Cod Hospital killed my wife. His incompetence and botched surgery made my wife suffer and die in three months. She turned 64 a couple of weeks after Loberman butchered her and then didn’t have the brains to send her to Boston because he said, ‘She will be fine…She’s a strong and healthy woman.’ When he saw he had screwed up and couldn’t save my wife he sent her to Brigham & Women’s in Boston, but by then it was too late. I’ll never forgive him for what he did to my wife of almost 46 years. Please, stay away from this hospital, (and particularly Dr. Dan Loberman) at all cost if you really value your life and those you love.billy bobLOL THEY JUST KILLED MY MOTHER , I NEVER SAW THESE REVIEWS TIL NOW HAD I KNOWN I WOULD OF NEVER LET THESE INSANE PEOPLE NEAR HER ITS NOT JUST THE STAFF THE INSANITY GOES ALL THE WAY UP IF YOUR READING THIS AND STILL GO THEIR IM SORRY BUT YOU WERE WARNEDCarl Carlson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe emergency center at Cape Cod hospital is fairly new and has about fifty rooms. The ambulance entrance is on the side of the hospital and it’s for ambulances only. When you are looking at the front of the hospital the emergency entrance is to the left of the building and seperate from the main entrance.jackie ayoubThis hospital is the most careless hospital I’ve ever felt with. My sister is a week passed due, the maternity ward, keeps scheduling her inducement for the “next” day. But, claim to care about their patent. She’s gestational diabetic which is an even higher risk, but, they can sit and eat loudly on the other end, while they claim to be busy. If they can only hold 5 women in labor at a time…Why even have a maternity ward at all. Holly was one name and the other lady didn’t give a name. Only advice id give is, start your check up and all that, with a different doctor, different town.I WILL END YOU ASSHOLE⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was there 2006 and 2008 and 2009!!! Couldn’t complain about how I was treated!!! Now from what I’m reading seems this hospital has changed since I was last on the Cape….perhaps come to Indiana and go to Parkview Regional Hospital!!! Better care where I’m at in fort wayne IndianaKatieThis place is the worst. My grandmother was admitted for cardiac issues. No one told us anything. We never saw a dr and when we did there was one that was nice and the other was absolutely awful. She was mean and looked down her nose at us like we were smaller than her. We requested a transfer to Boston and they got mad at us which made her care decline even more. They let her sit in her own stench and eat breakfast. It was so awful I had to go find someone else to help me because it was making me ill. The drs don’t explain themselves well. We wait all day to see them and they come in the room like we are a bother in their day. If you want good care don’t come here. Go to Boston. They dismiss concerned family members and basically told us my 83 year old grandmother could make her own decisions. Too bad she can’t hear or comprehend what they are saying which is why they let her walk without a pace maker 3 times. Again. Don’t go hereRichard Coady⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had to take my sister to this excellent emergency room on Fri night ,June 23rd after she had fallen and hurt her wrist .Although it was very busy, she was treated quickly. I want to thank the RN. Kate , Dr. “B”, the friendly woman from Registration ,and all the other tech’s ,who were so kind and showed such compassion to my 76 year old sister as she was treated for a wrist fracture. These professionals are an asset to Cape Cod Hospital hospital and should be recognized for their service. Again I thank you all.daniel devineI was in doubt and wondering how and why such a beautiful seemingly well equiped emergency room facility could receive so many one star reviews averaging a low 2.3 star overall rating. Well today, as a patient, I personally found out and there were too many undesirable, subpar, improper incidents and proceedures to list. (Patient advocate notified) A mostly (but NOT all) unattentive, disrespectable, untrained, undiciplined and uncaring staff is the explaination.that I observed and deduced as the reason. What I experienced and endured first hand today was completly unacceptable! Unfortunately, nobody seems to careScott EWorst Hospital ever. I would go to a veterinarian before I would go to this ER at night. The staff bullied my wife and sick daughter while they were there. We had contacted the administration about the abuse they had to experience before my daughter surgery. We had a meeting with patient advocacy the next day while our daughter was staying overnight after surgery. The nurses must have caught wind of this and called my wife that night to say why haven’t we picked her up she has been discharged. She is a minor and they just did it with out our knowledge. Told them she wasn’t supposed to be and let me know who discharged her no call back till my daughter called crying at 3 am they refused to give her medication so we ran down and they refused to let us get her. We had to call the police to get her released. Stay away if you canGeorge Stephen Young⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNot sure about these 1star reviewers as this is a world class hospital that I’ve had first class experience at and I grew up with best doctors & hospitals in Houston’s renowned medical center. Excellent care from nurses giving warm blankets to clean hospital setting throughout w/knowledgeable medical staff (triage, admittance staff, nurses, doctors & surgeons).Anne BoucherWorst hospital-good luck staying alive in this place!!!!Chad McGeeTERRIBLE…Nora BodnerPlace sucksPamela Harrington⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedQuick serviceRoy WThey will abuse you here and doctors in ER will lie to your face about your treatment. They will give you treatment that you refuse to be done on you and put you to sleep with drugs and do it against your will. You have no rights at this hospital. There are some very mean nurses that work here to that will just let you suffer if you tell them you need help.Had a very bad experience here.DON”T GO HERE!
