ER at the Lakes Reviews

Before you go to ER at the Lakes, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Las Vegas emergency room think.

Martha Gebremichael⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI always have the best experience coming to this urgent care from employees being empathetic, caring & helpful. It’s not enough good words i can say about the employees and how clean the facility is & how i always leave feeling better. Today i came because my mom was having arm pain and after having the worst experience at southwest medical the day before from waiting 6 hours to even see a dr, and from everyone being so nasty & mad for no reason. Coming here to ER lakes was heaven sent . My mom was helped by a physician named Dr Robert Ray & i wish i knew the other guys name that checked her blood pressure and gave her medication so pleasant caring & nice THANK YOU SO MUCH.Erin Riley⭐️⭐️I was treated quite rudely by the nurses on shift. I understand they see a lot of overdose patients, but they should not judge everyone who gets wheeled in the door at 4am as an OD patient until proven as such. Once my labs came back clean, they were much more sympathetic and accommodating. The male nurse Jeremey, and male Doctor were the only respectful workers from the beginning.Marla Charles⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had brought my 90 year old mom to ER at the Lakes on Friday night, and we could not have had better care or staff! Dr Ray, Christopher RN, Vanessa RN and our young man RN ( sorry I forgot your name) were absolutely amazing . We recieved high quality care, we laughed and were discharged with all the info we would need for our follow up visit with a specialist. Thank you !!!!!Mersiha Becic My mother went here for a horrible ear infection, the first night the doctor gave her ear drops and relieved her paid. She went back the next night because the ear drops aren’t going in the ear and she was in HORRIBLE pain.. after seeing her high blood pressure and increased heart rate due to pain .. the doctor simply told her “i dont believe you that the ear drops aren’t going inside” WITHOUT EVEN CHECKING HER DAMN EAR! Horrible horrible HORRIBLE doctor. Just lost 4 family’s ever going there again.Jennifer Mavashev I wish I could give this place a -5 star rating. As you can see based on the other negative reviews, this place does NOT treat their patients as people but more as numbers and dollar signs. This place is considered an Urgent Care and not so much of an ER, it is not a hospital so they should be prepared to explain what they are to people walking in. I was on the phone with my husband today when he walked into this place. Listening in, he told the negligent lady at the front desk that he has a simple throat ache and stated (many times) that this was NOT an emergency and he kept on repeating himself. He told her that there was a long line at the CVS walk-in across the street and asked the incompetent woman at the front desk, Jana White, if she can verify with his insurance because he doesn’t want to be charged a large sum. If she cannot do this, that is fine but as I am sure that this is not the first case, she could have told him that “we will accept you by law but because it is not an emergency, you’re better off waiting there because this place will charge you a lot more – but if you decide to continue, then yes, of course BY LAW we have to take you.” Since she is either incompetent or just doesn’t care about people, she did not explain this to him and assured him that everything would be fine. She walked him into a room without explaining the terms but it still didn’t sit well with my husband. As he was sitting and waiting for a doctor, he decided to call the insurance company to ask about how much he would be charged and the insurance company said that he would be charged 400$ for this visit. As the dr walked in, he said that he did not want to get treatment because he didn’t want to pay $400!! A few nurses walked in and started yelling and bashing him that its the law for him to stay in the room. He kept on repeating himself – “I asked before checking in, and nobody explained the terms to me.” “I specifically said that I have a simple throat ache and this is NOT an emergency” – they continued to yell at him although it was THEIR mistake! As he continued to walk out, the lady at the front desk rudely said that he would be billed (although he had NO TREATMENT from the doctor). It hurt my soul listening to them talk to him the way they did, I wish I was there to help him. When he came home and we were talking about it, he even told me that the DR understood what he was saying and actually apologized to him (but obviously he has no control). It was such an awful experience. So there you go – we are getting billed $400 for a common cold…and during the holiday season! – This place should be embarrassed and ADMIT to their mistakes instead of throwing their faults on a patient who was so polite! ..and they should fix their processes.Angela Segura Took my husband in for tension neck pain radiating to his head. Has previous back surgery and explained all of this to the doctor. Told him what works for my husband to breakthrough the pain. Was ignored, they gave medication for headache not back, that did nothing and when questioned why they got defensive. We asked for an single dose of antianxiety medication, we were told by Dr. Z that it is illegal now to give controlled substance out. Yeah no not asking for a prescription just a dose and I am an RN so that’s not true. She flat out lied and treated us like drug seekers. For antianxiety medication. After 3 hours he still had no relief and we ended up leaving. I have never received such poor treatment, or such a bold lie by a medical professional. I don’t write reviews but watching my husband sit there in pain and have them do nothing and treat us like pill poppers is infuriating. Also we have to pay for such horrible treatment. The only good thing was the nurse, he was amazing. But dude I know how medical people talk and after being stereotyped like that I know I will do my hardest to never treat someone like that.S A⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI absolutely love this ER!! I’ve never had to wait and the staff and doctors are all so nice. I bring my whole family here. My daughter was super sick and crying and one of the nurses gave her a stuffed kangaroo and just made my daughters day. I would recommend this place to everyone.Nic Stewart Worst doctor I have seen in my 30 years of life. Went in with a severe double tooth infection and all he told me to do is go see a dentist…which I am, two weeks from today. So thanks for absolutely nothing guys. Good joke if you think I’m paying the bill for that, see you in court.Luckee Tee⭐️⭐️⭐️I have been to this ER 3 times in less than 48 hrs and still have to go back because a prescription wasn’t properly printed out according to Ari who in fact is my actual problem, not the fact that I felt like I was dying and drove up here 3x and haven’t slept in 3 days, physicians, nurses, minus 2 security guards were super nice and helpful even though I am a huge baby when I don’t feel well, but Ari was extremely rude gave me conflicting information in person on my 3rd drive up there on numerous issues and then wanted to tell me I was rude when I asked her what her name was and wanted to hang up on me but not before she wanted to brag about what her title was, because I now have to drive down there for the 4th time in 2 days and called first to double check the accuracy of her conflicting information. You work in professional healthcare Ari (if I’m even spelling your name correctly) if you actually hate your job, hate helping people, or just not a people person at all GET ANOTHER JOB! But accusing an ill person of being rude and talking to them like they have a tail is extremely unprofessional and makes you a horrible human being when in fact you were the rude one!anahita khoramshahi⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFast and efficient. The staff were amazimg and friendly, Xavier, Susie and Dr. Z were very professional and kind and attended all my needs. I was in and out in 2 hours which is super efficient for most ERJohn Caito⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedIve had a lot of medical problems in the past. The staff here is helpful. The nurses and docters really take the time to figure out your problems, Best place ever.Sarah Fenoglio I visited this place thinking it was an ER. It is actually an Urgent Care with a CT machine. If you have the flu or need minor care, go here. I fractured my sacrum, they were unable to handle my case and told me I had to take an ambulance . The EMTs in the ambulance told me that this center and many of the other urgent care facilities in Vegas transport most of their patients to Sunrise ER or other REAL ERs. ER at the Lakes also told me if I did not take the ambulance that my health insurance would not cover me. This is a lie. I do NOT recommend this facility for anything more that a scrape or a cold. They are facetious in calling themselves an ERArev Ian I will never visit here again .. some of the doctors need to learn not to make fun of sick peopleJBU⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis one of the best Quick care ER in the Valley. Staff was friendly and kind. We was seen and treated with no wait time. By far the best Quick care ER at the Lakes!!!!!Jessica Daniels⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI brought home some kind of upper respiratory from a Disneyworld vacation that had my lungs drowning in mucous for 2 weeks. I was afraid I might have walking pneumonia. Unfortunately, I was not having much luck with either my civilian or VA primary care doctors in getting the correct tests to give me an answer as to what I had and how to treat. I decided to give the ER AT THE LAKES a try. In the past I have often gone to the Southern Hills ER but every time they have made me get into a flimsy hospital gown in a freezing emergency room, put me on an IV when not always necessary, and kept me waiting hours where I actually got worse because my fibromyalgia should never be that cold for so long. Last week I went right into the ER AT THE LAKES with absolutely no waiting. Their emergency area was a reasonable temperature and not freezing like most hospital environments. It was a gorgeous new and clean environment that was head over heels better than places like the UMC emergency rooms. They did not force me to get into a gown for the entire visit or give me an IV that wasn’t necessary. I got an immediate X-ray that I couldn’t get from either of my other primary care doctors and a diagnosis of bronchitis. My doctor was Daniel McBride, MD. He was professional, listened to everything I had to say, and he got me out of there in less than an hour. I was incredibly impressed. In my 63 years of life, it was probably the best Emergency Room experience that I have ever had.Marianna Elizbaryan After only 2 hour visit to ER on lakes where doctor couldn’t even define why do I have a pain. I initially was told it will be just 500$ copay for ER visit that I agreed to . I found in my health insurance claims a big bill from ER on lakes. The facility charged me as if the doctor who saw me there were out-of-network. I am extraordinarily disappointed and outraged because it was never initially disclosed to me that the specific doctor utilized was out-of-network although the facility itself was in-network. I am still waiting for a resolution.Ashley Foreman⭐️⭐️Dr. And team nice a bit unorganized and really long wait.. for a pretty empty erLisa Sandler⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI am in the middle of moving to Vegas from Calif. And was a little apprehensive about the health care, I heard it was terrible. I went in and saw Dr. Inglish, who examined me. I really felt comfortable with him.. The nurse at the desk took me right in and was so nice. I have pneumonia and he explained everything to me and answered my questions. I have been to a few other urgent cares here that were terrible. I was ready to drive back to Los Angeles until I found this place. Very clean, The lady that took my ex rays was so nice and gentle. I was very happy with the care and would recommend this place.Roopa rajappa very bad experience. even to hour visit i pay more than 1500$ my pocket. and they charge lot to my insurance, more than my 20000$. and they could not recognise why i got pain. and call to center they not respond. and not provide my report and bill details.E Sad⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedObsessed with this place! Amazing staff, amazing doctors and amazing service. Thank you for taking such good care of my little one when he needed stitches and also when i returned to remove his stitches. You guys are the best. So happy this facility opened up so close to my house. Very convenient and always in and out with minimal wait.Catharina Soesetyo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone was professional, and very nice! There was no wait, my husband got admitted right away after basic information was taken. Nurse Cayte is funny, she put my husband at ease (he hates needles).A H⭐️⭐️Went in around April got in quickly without any problems of course. But the doctor refused to take x-rays when i asked and just wanted to give me a prescription for a muscle relaxer. They charged me 300 just for a facility fee and still had a bill of 300 that ended up getting sent to collections because they didn’t input my address correct. They were quick to take my money but they won’t listen to you if you try to explain what is wrong with you.Derk Hayes They scammed me and told me I had to get stuff done that dodnt needed done never go hereJudith Reyes⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThank you for treating my mom quickly and with patience!! The staff is very efficient and knowledgeable. I was surprised that the doctor came in to see her within minutes instead of hours. Tests were ordered and done quickly. Everyone was great.Shanna Zipo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have to say that this is the Best ER I have ever been to and I have been to many. Dr Nick is wonderful, that nurses are amazing and the staff is marvelous!Jpow Lightning These people are crooks. Had my wife and daughter take an ambulance for no reason.Anne Rivard Very unprofessional. My son was sick and they couldn’t get details of the problems because they were laughing. And the female provider was just there laughing along. I was asked the same questions many times because they couldn’t pay attention. The provider assumed my son had sinus infection and gave him nasal spray. We went to another place the next day and he was positive for strep.Alexandria McEwen Went here for intense abdominal pain. They figured out it was a large cyst on my ovary. Instead of helping me, I was instead given a medication for pain that was clearly counter indicated due to meds I was already on. I brought this up to the nurse who discharged me and was told well you don’t have to fill it. I didn’t since it could cause a dangerous toxicity. I luckily know this but if I hadn’t I would put myself at risk. I will never return here. Use at your own risk.Jamie’s Surrogacy Journey⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis place was amazing. We went in to see if my mom had high potassium we waited about 5 minutes total for the doctor to come in and we also waited about 10 minutes total for them to get the blood work and 10 minutes for the results. This is the fastest and knowledgeable and funniest ER I’ve ever been to in Las Vegas hands down. I know exactly where I’m going to go if I ever get sick again I need to go to ER! thank you to Jay, Dr. Henner and Daniel for your services!Zelma Cochran⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was there early Tuesday morning. I was very ill. I was well taken care of from the moment I checked in and received very high quality treatment from the entire staff. Thank you to all of them there. They found out what was wrong with me and I was given prescriptions and instructions for follow up if needed. I highly recommend ER At The Lakes. If needed, I will use this ER again. A+Jean Centko⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe visit was great! We didn’t wait long to see a doctor and the staff was very nice & extremely attentive to our needs. We absolutely would go again… if we needed that degree of care.jose garcia⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery Fast Service… And The Nurses & Dr’s Are Awesome… Explained Everything And Made Me Feel Calm & Relaxedkayla cureton⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff are very nice and respectful. Extremely quick service.Joshua Simi⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI came here for an emergency and the staff was amazing and very considerate. It’s a very clean hospital, professional staff, and hopefully I will be ridden of all my bacterial, viral, and fungal infections I have accrued throughout my life. Jk. .Mardac⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’m from out of town and this seemed like a great place per review so we went. We were not disappointed. No wait, friendly and knowledgable staff. Would recommend to anyone.V Medi Seriously the worst PA and doctor ever. Doctor Kevin slaughter sent in his PA notify us that my bf has appendicitis and they are calling an ambulance for surgery. When I started asking questions the PA immediately got defensive and said things like “you wouldn’t understand” and “why would I tell you that”. Then she proceeded to tell us this was a medical emergency and then we waited 3.5 hours before an ambulance came. For a medical emergency! I will never come here and the scare tactics will never work again. I am fed up with the way they treated me and they are touting “voted best of Las Vegas”. Which means literally nothing to me now.Crystal Touch⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFrom chicago and the er process was great and fast…maybe it was just a few people lol. The nurses and doctor was great as well. Dr. Chan was awesome. Dr. Rushton was even better!Chadd Johnson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNice facility with urgent care style emergency room. Easy to get seen quickly. Minimal wait times!James Dingman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWhat a surprise! Clean modern facility staffed by competent caring professionals. I stumbled in with neck and back issues that were so sever I didn’t think I’d make it to next week. They immediately knew my issue and, gave me something for the pain and suggested massages. Bottom line: though I went in rather freaking out because i was in pain, I came out relaxed and knowing that my problem can be easily fixed. Highly recommended!David Nizgoda 1/2 a star if not 0 this place is a joke, no one care . Take long time to get in and even longer to get out. They do all kind of test just to ask for more money. DON’T GOOOOONaas Technical SERVICES LLC No patients in building but i still had to wait 45mins for a doctor to see me. Just to tell me they couldnt help me, i needed a specialist. Then charge over $600 for doing nothing. Woukd give less the 1 star if possible.Jennifer A⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommended2nd time visiting here and both times I’ve had a very positive experience. This past time (last night) I awoke to severe upper abdominal pain. My fiancé took me in and I was greeted by a friendly guard at the front desk and a very nice made nurse at the triage desk. Was immediately taken back to a room and a nurse came in as soon as I got in there and put an IV in. As she was doing that a doctor was immediately in the room and asking questions. I felt like he really listened (something rare with Vegas doctors). Had an ultrasound done and found gallstones. Very happy that they were able to find something (I’ve been dealing with this pain for almost 10 years and no one seemed interested in helping me). I’m so thankful that one doctor actually listened to me and took me seriously. Have an appointment already set with a surgeon to get gallbladder removed.Gloria Berber Freaking terrible. The phone was answered by a laughing staff member. I had called to try to find someone I know that was taken to a hospital (cus I don’t know where they were taken to) and the person on the phone said they couldn’t help me. I said you can’t check in your data base to see if a person was taken there? She then asked me what my relationship to the person is because if I’m not a family member she can’t give me any information. The only information I was looking for was to see if I could locate this man so that I could inform his family. Extremely terrible phone service.Sarah Goodrich⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI love this place and never have to wait long. I tell everybody to go to E.R. at the Lake.Whitney Gallios⭐️⭐️Very quick check-in, but the admitting nurse smelled of cigarettes. The doctor was too busy to see patients. The phlebotomist was rough and rude when starting an IV.mayra hughes⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff is wonderful and very considerate. Fast service. Great technology. Very clean. Brought my 4 yr old in with crooppy cough and they were all over her within 2 mins of arriving.Kimberly Duke⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCame into the facility on the 19. I was having a bad asthma attack my post oxygen was reading good. I have a nebulizer machine at home I have been using it all day when I came in I was throwing up mucus so really bad to where I was crying the triage nurse pass me off to another nurse needless to say by the time I got my breathing treatment it was 10:30 p.m. I was told by the doctor that he was going to prescribe me a cough syrup to help me sleep I never got the cough syrup. I had to return to the ER midday the next day on the 20th where Dr.Rivas and her team was so great. I couldn’t speak chest really tight. It was a big difference from the night staff and the day staff. Her bed sidea manner is great. You can tell she really cares..that group of nurses on the day shift was so great…management did an awesome job with putting that group together. I gave the rating 5 stars because of them…the group during the evening thumbs down. I was passed off. Coughing with mucus is a warning that I needed relief an asthma attack and go from 10 – 0 in a matter of minutes I thank God for watching over me that night. Dr. Rivas is really great I wish she were to go to Private Practice I will pay the extra money to have her as my physician. Even though she looks like she’s 15 to meddreher27⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWow! i have never been to an ER that has no wait time on a Saturday night and now I have! This place has a great friendly staff and exceptional service!Christii Girl⭐️⭐️There was a very intuitive and knowledgeable Asian RN at the admissions desk when we arrived. She immediately started assessing me and trying to make me more calm and less upset. She was amazing! However… The RN’s (Mostly women) sitting at the nurses station inside the ER treatment area were giving us the side eye. My blood pressure was high, my spouse was visibly upset by it and not one nurse sought to offer a kind or encouraging word. Nothing. I must admit that in comparison to California level of care is severely lacking in Nevada. One nurse started asking me a question and as I was answering her.. All I saw was her back. She walked out. This is a great looking facility. Dr. Behl was knowledgeable. The Assistant that gathered our insurance information; Breana was also professional and kind. Unless I am on the verge of foreseeable death, I will not go back there again.Crystal Adams⭐️⭐️Normally the staff is friendly and caring. I went in because I was having a issues with my foot. They didn’t seem to listen and were in a hurry.Maryam Rahi⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI appreciate all the stuff they were very nice, helped me a lot & they asked about me via phone twice to be sure that’s I am fine also sent me a thanks card to my house,, how wonderful you areAmy Olguin I feel like the place itself is very nice and empty but tge nurses dont know what to do they poked me 4 times to get blood and bruised my arm and hand. Feel like they rushed me out and didnt really explain anything to me.Tre’ Hill⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAmazing emergency room. The Dr, dr. John henner was very knowledgeable and had a great bedside manor . Was on vacation with my wife , and was in a lot of pain due to a chronic illness, and was seen very quickly and the staff was very friendly but the star of the emergency department was and is Dr henner. If my wife and I could give 10 stars we would . Thank you for being so attentive and for your wonderful bedside manor. Definitely wasn’t expecting such great care in vegas ! Would definitely recommend Dr henner !Jim Darwin THEY WILL BILL YOU AS AN EMERGENCY ROOM VISIT!!! Wife and son were seen for minor injuries, DR LOOKED at them(no x-ray, no meds, no NOTHING!!) and they billed us $2000(est bills you SEPERATELY from DR!)…..not covered by INS.
