Before you go to Kings County Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Brooklyn emergency room think.
Jammalamadaka SoujanyaThis place does not even desire one star. I broke my arm nd i was here for more than 8 hours now with no one attending me. Please look for better emergency rooms. Such a waste of timeJewel J.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I came across very caring staff today, that made my visit comfortable. Every time I go to Kings county emergency room, my diagnosis and treatment is quick. Regardless of what anyone says, anytime I have an emergency, I’m going to Kings County. Only issue that could be improved is the wait time to finally be seen by a doctor. It’s understandable because there’s a lot of patients but there’s always room for improvement. Other than that, I’m grateful to all who helped me from the front desk to the back room. God bless you all!deleted dI first tried to go to a urgent care but they said for her age i would have to go to a ER. Kings county ER is basically a walk-in clinic NOT A EMERGENCY room, 6 people ahead of me on the pediatrics side, came in because my 9 month old had a huge welt from falling and hitting her head this morning, an hour and thirty minutes passed still waiting to be seen, all 6 people were called back and then someone who came after me gets called back, then another.. I told the lady at the receptionist desk out of courtesy that i was leaving. my daughter didnt show any signs of discomfort and her welt was getting slightly smaller, I didn’t want to keep an infant waiting another hour for vitals and another hour just to be seen, they didn’t take it serious so she must be fine. Next time I will be taking a cab to another hospital. The receptionist were courteous and professional but the wait times in a EMERGENCY ROOM FOR A HEAD TRAUMA THATS A INFANT is ridiculous.Johely TejadaOnly come to this ER if you want to spend 8+ hours on getting few simple stuff done. Staff here take their own sweet time to get every minimal thing done.Makaya KeldayI would rate this zero stars if possible. Not sure if it’s just the time I went in, but very long wait times and rude staff. They can’t really be trying to help people in there. The place is a joke. If you really need help, go to another emergency room.leon hallAbsolutely terrible. If you ever have a medical emergency, then come here if you’re ready to die.LATISHA BURTON-NIXONHorrible..waiting is way too long for emergency needs…ive been sitting here for 4 hrs..no doctor yet!!Shahid MazumderI don’t want to waste my time to say something about this hospital. 3rd world countries hospital are 1000% better than this hospital.Mohamed KaderThe worst hospital in The USADee TamTo give the ER dept a one star is too much. Very poor handling of patients. Service is too slow. Doctors, nurses and staff all got attitude and too busy to really care for their patients. They are in the wrong field. They’re too busy chitchatting and if u asked them they’ll say theyre too busy or they dont know. They should hire people with emphaty, experience & knowledge. Or change their system altogether because it’s not working and failing miserably. Maybe overworked and understaffed, but whoever leads this department should really take a good look at it. Or maybe they simply don’t care.Richelle EchevarriaThis place is horrible. Came in with chest tightness, and spleen pain. Had to wait 20 minutes, just for them to get my name wrong on the wristband, then they said they couldn’t change it. I went into triage, got and EKG, and for almost 4 HOURS waited in the waiting area. No one saw me. I should’ve just went to Kingsbrook Jewish. They’re so much faster and better. I would’ve had an EKG, MRI AND CAT-Scan, within 1 hour of being there. Then, treated and discharged in the next. Don’t go to Kings County if you want to live.Mohammad UddinStay here just waisted your time, it’s better to die or go somewhere else,. Save your time and save your life both.Gabriela MendezWorst existing hospitalZalmanDo not go here unless it’s your last option.Darlene BushWhen you get there you have to stand on line the another line they are so slow manager i s no help this has been going on for years it’s the worst ever!!!shanae CampbellWorst hospital ever!!! And if u wait in this ER u will die!!! The staff is rude and slow. They don’t care about anyone at all!! Went there and waited five hours and didn’t see anyone.
