Sara B⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedQuick service and professional, kind staff with excellent communication. This was best ER experience everKarley Snow⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSecond time I’ve been here. Both times I have experienced little to no wait time to be seen, very kind and caring staff and nurses/techs, a clean facility, and was out within an hour or so. Probably the better hospital in Abq.JAY COONBeen in this ER for 30 minutes waiting but in those 30 minutes while waiting. All i can hear and see is very rude staff and nurses. So many elderly trying to ask questions and theybare telling them to wait their turn. An elderly man wanted a mask and they did not give him one.Marianne Rittner-Holmes⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy 86 year old Mom had a serious infection and we found ourselves in Lovelace’s ER by choice, because they had given her superior care at The Heart Hospital. The ER was very calm and organized, which was comforting because I’ve been in some that are zoo-like and add to the anguish of the whole ER experience. It did take some time for everything, but they sort patients by urgency and we felt we were seen in a reasonable time. More importantly, we were seen by a very competent, nice* and caring medical staff and doctor. One triage tech is EMT Michael. He was just awesome because he listened and passed on our concerns to the doctor. The doc was just as nice as could be. He clearly was an advocate for my Mom and aimed treatment at preventing the infection from spreading and getting it to go away. Many doctors we’ve seen blow seniors off as unimportant. Not the case here at all. Highly recommend this ER. *Triage tech Robert has very poor people skills. He never offered to tell us what was going on unless asked. Then, he would give one word minimal answers. “What’s going on?” “She has low potassium.” “What was her reading?” “2.8” .” What’s normal?” “3.5” “To what?” “To 5”. Like pulling teeth. NOT HELPFUL, Robert! He seemed upset that my Mom was wrapped up in several layers because she was cold. At one point I said, “My Mom is 86 and weighs 82 pounds with a bad heart. I’m sorry if her being cold is offensive to you.” Robert, you may be technically competent but without CARING about your patients, your knowledge is unimportant. Hope your boss sees this and trains you on empathy and compassion. I could use your performance to downgrade the hospital, but the rest of the awesome staff doesn’t deserve that.Kenimarie Yates⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBrought my son in to the ER. Was super busy but they brought him into the triage area and was able to help right away. Thank you for the fast service.Isaiah and Angels AdventuresPresbyterian hospital is WAY MORE PROFESSIONAL my grandmother was in the ER for 3 days and counting her oxygen was low machines wers going off and nurses didnt even pay attention her EKG was disconnected i had to connect it back nurses werw being rude to her she said i dont recommend this hospital to anyone…..go to PRESBYTERIAN or UNMH they are way better and professional!Jonathan RayOh where to begin.. I showed up with a fever of 101 complaining of having stomach flu symptoms. No mask or vomit bag was offered. Seriously? After a brief wait, triage saw me and couldn’t figure out how to use the thermometer. The two goobers in there asked and re-asked the same questions over and over not listening to my answers. Then they tried to fix everything with pills. When I refused a strep throat swab and taking ibuprofen on an empty stomach, they were like pushy car salesmen and asked me if I “didn’t approve of western medicine” and asked “well why did you come in here if you’re not gonna let us help?” With my CNA-1 training I knew what my body needed and what it didn’t. So I mostly went in there to receive a flu test to see if I was viral.. after telling me it would be a 20 minute wait I then found out that the staff wasn’t even aware they didn’t do quick flu screening. And it’ll be another 24 hours before they have a clue- then prescribed tamiflu anyway, being unsure of whether I needed it or not. All this, plus being made fun of in the hallway and having one of them joke about doing a rectal temperature scan on me because they couldn’t figure out how to do an oral scan.. and shouting my private details loud enough for other patients DOWN THE HALL to hear, I was fed up. The staff was impolite and mocked me, I never once got a visit from a doctor, and when I told them I was chilled I got no offer of blankets or relief. All in all, this was by far the worst experience I’ve EVER had in an ER. Never returning even if I’m dying- because to be honest I doubt it would make a difference on how they treated me.Heather Douglas⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had been to pretty much every other emergency room in Albuquerque. I was talking to a customer at work who was visiting with her husband and he ended up at Lovelace downtown. She was so impressed with the staff, so I figured I’d go. It’s the best er I’ve found. Rust in Rio Rancho is another good one, but it’s pretty far for an emergency room. Anyway, the staff is amazing. Friendly and joking around. Doctor Mark Waggener was the best. I was so impressed. I’ll travel farther to go here.Zachary Primrose⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedProfessional medical care. Rapid processing.Zachary BoehmeWent in to see a doctor, for a medical emergency, I don’t have a regular doctor, I moved here, and the lady in the front office refused to let me see one, and then proceeded to tell me that the doctors there aren’t allowed to write prescriptions. She did give me a list of other places to call.Nikki Smith⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️On hands promp. Communication on shift change follow up on point. Discharge a little lengthy! But an over all i think serv. Is good. Considering.Samuel NogalskiIs there a way to give this less than 1 star? Waited in the er almost 3 hours while my son was vomiting and the like and all they did was give us a bucket to catch his puke and a bag for his vomited clothing and toys. He is almost 2 years old and the fact this place has 5 stars astounds me since they didn’t act like a 5 star hospital they didn’t act like a half star hospital. 1 doctor on call on a Friday night this is unacceptable at all costs. Will never come here again will just go to kaseman or unmKimberly Perez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedProbably the best customer service I’ve ever received in an ER. Wait times were by far much better than UNM and Presbyterian. Great job everyone!Sudheer Donthineni⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI wasn’t treated, but I watched for a few hours in the waiting room. Patients were taken in about 20min intervals. Seems normal for an emergency room. Rolling security checks the parking garage, and escorted a strung out vagrant during my wait. I’m not from around here, but the service seems too notch. If it costed more here, I wouldn’t be surprised.jessica coxThe emergency room doctor was very rude and very unprofessional
