Fakhrodin mirkhil⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDoctors and nurses they’re outstanding and excellent services. I really appreciate you guys. Thanks for your hard workingLeo Gonzalez My wife came in with heart issues rushed to procedure and nurse Rachel was very unprofessional, with an attitude towards us (a patient with heart issues) started disconnecting equipment and instructing my wife to be on a wheelchair or stretcher all at the same time while rushing and throwing her weight around. I wonder if this is how the personnel at this hospital treats their heart patients, looks like they want to give them a heart attack . Thank you Washington MedWafa AlKebsi I walked in with pain that I ranked 7, walked out 10. I was diagnosed Peritonsillar Cellulitis, they recommend a Peritonsillar Abscess Drainage Procedure. But they couldn’t find anything to drain. So they made sure to cut everywhere around my tonsil, which is causing me so much pain right now. I was dehydrated because I couldn’t eat or drink all day due to the tonsil swelling, and then I lost blood because of the procedure, on top of that the swelling worsened and I couldn’t swallow medication. They didn’t bother injecting the medicine or giving me fluids. Instead crushed the pill and asked me to try and swallow, which most definitely did not happen. My first and last visit.Alex Frier Terrible experience here, came in at 4am with my shoulder in intense pain. Waited at least an hour before they did an x-ray. Waited another hour or 2 only to be told it was just a sprain and no dislocation or fracture. I see my nurse practitioner a few days later and he says it IS dislocated! How do you mess up this badly?Tan Cro⭐️⭐️⭐️My ER visit was okay. The wait time was way shorter than expected the staff(nurses, technicians) were polite, professional and caring. However, the Physicians assistant that saw me was horrific. No bedside manner, not much care or concern given. She spoke to me in a condescending manner and attempted to send me out the door when I was very sick with various symptoms due to pnuemonia (which I had not been treated for). Had I not persisted, although very sick and weak, and advocated for myself I’m convinced NOTHING would have been done if left to her discretion. Personally, I would recommend another facility but if you must be seen here ensure that your healthcare needs are being addressed properly!Laura Montas-Brown The wait time is ridiculous! There is absolutely no sense of urgency in this emergency room.Colleen ODowd If I could give 1/2 star I would. Washington Hospital Center (WHC) used to be a highly respected hospital in the Greater D.C. area. It was once the place to go to for all cardiac issues, I have personally known people who have travel from PA to go to WHC years ago. I had both of my children at this hospital and have personally gone there for doctor appts. and ER visits, but after my husbands most recent visit, I WILL NEVER go there again. My husband arrived at WHC ER on 10/21/2019 at approx 5:30 pm from an Urgent Care Facility with Arterial Fibrillation(A Fib), active chest pain, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. As I type this at 9:57 am on 10/22/2019 he is sitting in the hallway of the ER, more than 16 hours later!!! Oh, did I mention that according to the Urgent Care EKG he was experiencing a mild heart attack? The WHC did their own EKG and confirmed A Fib but no one put him on a heart monitor until 7:38 am (10/22/2019). SEVERAL requests were made to staff and supervisors to put him on a monitor but the requests went unanswered. This place is a mess and I will NEVER go there again. I will take my 50 something year old husband and myself to Children’s National Medical Center for quality care before going back to WHC. Other D.C. options are GW Hospital, Georgetown Hospital, Sibley Hospital and Suburban Hospital in the immediate area. PLEASE consider other options if you are able.Nicole Mateo If I can give it no stars I would. This is the worst hospital anyone can come too. I spent 7 hours at the ER for them to tell me absolutely nothing. The staff looked like they just started working, everyone looked lost. The doctor came to me with a whole different patient info and at the end he finally realized it wasn’t me. The bathroom were the worst. There was blood stains on the floor, the toilet, and the sink. This was a disgusting and horrifying experience.
