Alexis Welsh⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAwesome experience! These are the most competent and compassionate people I have encountered, as I am a frequent ER visitor! The facility is clean and the front desk is friendly! Couldn’t ask for a better experience! I was seen and treated in a timely manner. Excellent bedside manner. Excellent time from in to out. Would highly recommend!Dominique Carter⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWent in 30 weeks pregnant with wedding ring stuck. At first they thought they’d have to cut my rings but thankfully Rodney (a nurse I assume) came in and saved the day! He soaked my rings with ice water then used vaseline to remove. It was painful but he didn’t give up and i’m so happy he didn’t have to cute my wedding rings! 5 stars for Rodney!!!!!!Chandra CostasMartinezEtcEtcEtcIf I could, I would give zero stars. Doctor and nurse lacked compassion and understanding. I left in as much pain as I arrived in with a recommendation to follow up with my GP. The guard and xray tech were the only nice people who cared.Nanu Aswad⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery good service, Friendly and professional environment…Quick electronic check-in ♧Janea Hall⭐️⭐️I don’t like the nurse addicted and they do not care for there Patient or patient’s spouse they are very very rude and disrespectfulUrsula Bodnar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had a great experience, everyone was kind and helpful!Lj Bishop⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWow I was amazed with this place , staff here are awesome!! They are all nice and friendly and so professional. Highly recommended The nurse Rodney took care of us., thanksShannon WoodyShould have listened to every ones comment about rude, snippy staff. Hour and a half wait to see the Dr. with an empty parking lot. Then another 20 minutes waiting on someone to come do a chest xray. When I said my child was cold the response was, “Yea its got to be cold in here.” Didnt offer a blanket or anything. Never again!!Sabrina HAbsolutely horrific bedside manner. The charge nurse was incredibly rude, condescending and threatened to call jso to usher me out because I asked for clarification on my discharge. She screamed at me and very abrasive and the doctor I had treating me left 10 minutes after I arrived and didnt say goodbye or intro the replacement. So the result was the discharge me without proper care.Merle CampbellJerry mullis and majority of the nurses needs to lose there license and find a different career they are very cruel to there patients and could care less if they help you or not. NO STARSKay BThey treat u as your an inconvenience if you dont have insurance and are so rude Dr Scott and his nurse they checked my blood pressure and never informed me it was high or told me anything just gave me my paper work and my prescriptions. I will never return its a shame that because one does not have insurance they treat u like ur a nobody sorry not every one can afford it and do you think we want to go to the er for the Dr to come in and look at you then leave the room. Place is horrible doctors and nurse is horrible even the person to give your discharge papers is horrible. Todd the insurance man is the only one who showed empathy and cared and actually listened.optim47⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI got an allergic reaction from something I ate and was the first I had ever received one so I made my way here. I had no wait and the staff was amazing, respectful and very helpful.Gabrielle O’Brien⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went to the ER around 5 am and was helped by a nurse named Robert. He was incredibly quick, kind, and knowledgeable. Even though I was panicking he remained calm and spoke clearly about everything he was doing, and informed my grandmother about the differences in the medication I was taking at home vs. what they were treating me with in the ER. Dr. Papavasiliou was my treating provider and was just as quick and kind. These two helped me out so much, and even assisted me with finding programs in order for me to afford some pricy medication. Thank you both, a thousand times over!DeAngela MillerI wish I could have picked no star because that is what they deserve. I had gall bladder issues and went in because I was in so much pain could not stop vomiting. Once I got to the ER I was vomiting up nothing but bile. I must say I was in so much pain my level would be off the charts at a 15! Anyway to make a long story short, they give me a bucket as I am still vomiting waiting on the doctor. The doctor finally comes in and ridiculed at my pain and writhing, “having a little pain huh?” He laughs. So look at him in astonishment, and I say “I am in excruciating pain’. Mind you I am still vomiting profusively. The nurse comes in to do an iv because they determined I was severely dehydrated. She never speaks to me, not one word. So the doctor tells me after taking my word that my gall bladder is acting up, he tells me that he will give me Torodol pills for my pain. I tell him I can not take Toradol it upsets my stomach and makes me throw up! Mind you I am still throwing up yellow bile while telling him this, I am barely talking from all the pain and vomiting. After telling him that, he says that it works best for this pain, I tell him no I will throw it back up, he tells me that there is nothing else that will work for my pain. I mean we went back and forth, it was irritating and I was in the worst pain so I gave in and took the pills. I probably would have took a bullet for that pain. Soon after I took it it made me feel worse and I vomited more. The pain never went away it just subsided. After I cane home for a couple hrs my pain returned worse than before. My husband took me back up there. A more competent doctor was there this time and he gave me iv Dilaudid which instantly killed the pain and gave me more fluids because I was still dehydrated. I wish I had not gone there, some of the doctors and nurses are ok but then there is some that don’t give a damn that work there. This was not my first bad experience it was just the worst. I have been there before when the staff was rude and pompous. Get rid of the ones who don’t want to do their jobs, it’s making a bad name for your business. It’s a hit or miss type of situation. I won’t ever go back because I don’t like playing games when it comes to my health and well being.Brandon JohnsonI went in for a IV. I simply felt dehydrated and no other doctors office was open at the time. I thought this would be a simple request. Clearly my mistake. The doctor wanted to run bloodwork and a urine test to see if my liver was damaged. He was clearly trying to rack up the bill. I replied to him that I did not feel well. Taking my blood would make me feel worse which would defeat getting IV. The nurse was there the whole time. I can see that they were displeased by my suggestion. The doctor walked out of the office. The nurse stuck a needle in my hand and missed my vain on purpose. I felt very uncomfortable at this point and decided I should just leave. Please understand this all happen in the matter 10 minutes and they still gave me a bill for $723.00 and a bloody hands with no service. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so horribly.Janah Merlin⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI pinched a nerve in my back for the first time, and I had no idea what was wrong. I was in so much pain in my shoulder that I was unable to move my arm, much less be able to sign in at the touch screen. Immediately they brought me back to the room and I was taken care of. Everyone was so incredible nice, and as soon as I took the medicine given I began feeling relief. I have never had an ER experience that was simultaneously terrible (because of the pain), but also so great (because of the talented staff). I found out at the end of my visit that they were having a rough morning, and were extremely busy. Well, it did not seem like it by how smoothly they all worked. Thank you all again, for taking care of me!Deroline Gonzales⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have been there few times with my autistic teenager, the staff and doctors always treated me with respect. Once My son had stomach ache, another ear infection and flu, my son cant tolerate changes and they took care of him pretty fast understanding his anxiety, they were very considerate to my son’ need. They were very patience with my strong accent as well.Cory ApplebeeAsk a very polite question on the phone, they gave a short answer and hung up. VERY RUDE!Branden Schock⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOk… To me a lot of these complaints are due to not having insurance or being out of network. I’ve also read a hand full where the patient has self-diagnose themselves before they even walk in the door.. I’ll tell you my experience; Im a single dad of a 3 year old little boy who has been in and out of doctors offices and hospitals for croup his entire life. Tonight was one of the worst episodes I’ve seen him have, I did not want to take a chance so I decided to take him here as it was so close. From the minute I walked in, I was greeted by the security guard behind the desk who was very pleasant, he pointed me in the correct direction to fill out information on the touch screen monitor. My son and I sat in a chair for (maybe) 5 minutes and we were called into our room. Everyone there made me and more importantly him feel very comfortable. I’m truly grateful for everything you guys did tonight and so is my little one as he’s sleeping soundly right now. I feel the need to write reviews with unbiased opinions, (good and bad) and this was one of, if not the best experience I’ve had at any emergency care center or ER room. I will definitely tell anybody I know about your place and if I have any concerns with my health or my sons you’ll be sure to see us again. Thank you again.Jenn HallI got in a car accident in December and this location was the closest to my house so I chose to go there. I will say that I regret it immensely considering I was there for less than 2 hours and received a $24,000 bill. I didn’t even get an IV in my arm, or have a major surgery. This is RIDICULOUS and because of their price gouging they used up all of my PIP benefits from my auto insurance so I wasn’t able to get the help I actually needed. I plan to bring this attention to the local news and warn anyone and everyone to stay FAR AWAY!Justin DiorioWas just here. Terrible service. Sat for over an hour and never got treatedDanielle Henry⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFast service the two times I’ve gone and the nurses and doctors have always been very helpful.Rusty Thompson⭐️⭐️⭐️As the mother to the patient and not getting there until after she was put in a room I was surprised at the security guard at the front admittance desk. He informed me that I could have a seat in the waiting room and he disappeared for a minute to come back and inform me it was too busy for me to join my daughter. I watched and observed and there did not seem to be a lot of activity in the hallway of the room that she was in and a few people left and a couple was admitted. This led me to question the gentleman as to why both were let through. He informed me that that was because she did not speak English. This was a surprise to me as I had heard part of their conversation and she seemed to understand just fine. I then asked to speak to someone and he refused to go get anybody and held up a comment card and said I could fill this out if I’d like just like everyone else. I proceeded to text my daughter and asked if she was alone in her room, she said yes and when the nurse came in to check her IV she asked if it was okay if I came back and he said yes of course that’s just fine! The nurse came to the waiting room and got me like it was no big deal. The security guard just stood there gawking at me! I find him very unprofessional and I might have understood just a little bit if I had looked like something or someone that shouldn’t have been there! The medical staff was excellent and very nice and took good care of my daughter but the guard can float.Bryan Fry⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI would give this place 10 stars. Iam homeless. I was in for feet issues. The head nurse melissa is awesome. I needed new used shoes. And she gave me two pairs and socks. Well thats what i thought. I got a whole care package. I didnt except that. Thank you melissa for your compassion and carying.Solomon RabilizarovI had a panic attack, caused by Dysapnea, and was suffocating. I arrived with my mother, and the staff were indifferent to my arrival. One security guard was extremely rude to my mother and I, because I wasn’t able to comprehend anything due to myself losing consciousness. We just went to Mayo Clinic.Maddy Brady⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy friend came in for an emergency yesterday and she was taken in immediately. They let us back to see her very quickly and made us feel right at home!!! Melissa and Keith went above and beyond to make sure my friend was okay, and that we were all comfortable. Melissa sat down with us for 15 minutes answering questions and reassuring us that everything was going to be okay. Highly recommend coming here for any emergency needs!Samantha WilliamsonMy daughter went here with severe stomach pain. The doctor never once touched her abdomen during the exam or listened to her belly. Told her there was nothing clinically wrong with her after drawing blood and taking a urine sample. Prescribed her some nausea meds and sent her on her way. She ended up at our primary the next day where our doctor actually examined her thoroughly. I’ve called and left 3 messages with the nurse manager with no call back. Do yourself a favor and never go here!Jeff⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I have had to use this location a few times. The waits have been short and the staff has been very professional and friendly. I would recommend them over the other locations in the area because they have x-ray and MRI and because of the advanced staff they have on site, they handle much more complicated cases.Horace StevensonI went in complaining of severe diarrhea stomach cramps and a choking feeling when I lie down. The doctor came in looked at me recognized me and said you are having a reaction to your lithium to which I said I haven’t been on lithium in over a year as my body doesn’t react well to it. He looks at me says we will do blood work and give you some fluids. 30 minutes later the nurse comes in gives me anti nausea medication and 2 imodium. Puts in iv takes blood and starts fluids. Immediately after fluids started I was in severe pain in my arm but just thought maybe the fluids were cold. The pain never left from 1 to 10 this pain was a solid 9 I was screaming and crying the whole time they had not given me a nurse call button. An hour later the doctor comes in and says we are send you home I said doctor I am in terrible pain at my iv site. He said I will send the nurse in and when we release you she will take out the iv. 30 minutes go by the nurse comes in and starts talking about meds they are sending home with me. I said nurse my iv hurts bad she looked at my arm apologized as the iv left my vein and filled my arm my forearm was the size of a football. I still am very sick. I cant eat drink not even water with out going to sit on the toilet immediately after every sip. The doctor when he was leaving yesterday said you have not thrown up or had diarrhea since you got here to which I replied I have not eaten or drunken since I got here. No tests no x-rays just put in room and kicked out 2 hours later.Natalie McMillan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI agree with the other reviews about the price, it is expensive. What most people don’t understand is its your responsibility to make sure you are in network, not theirs. Maybe it would be helpful for them to be up front with costs before the procedures. A few weeks ago my friend left the gym with serve abdominal pain. Treated him for the pain and also ran a CT scan. Diagnosed with a aorta dissection along with blood clot. Which prompted immediate treatment and transport. All I can say is great job Dr !!! We are so grateful that it wasn’t misdiagnosed.Rosalia Miranda⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’ve been to the Memorial free standing ER twice for myself (stomach flu, then pleurisy) and once for my little sister (possible UTI). Every time, I get taken back in less than 5 minutes and the staff has always been attentive. I am in and out much much quicker than a regular ER at a hospital and its right down the street from my house.Mark A⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedQuick evaluation & treatment. Efficient use of tests done, to diagnose pneumonia & start antibiotics. We had all the answers within one (1) hour! Better than any other ER, & I’m a retired MD from GA.jillsilver007The nurse who answers the phones is extremely rude. Very unprofessional and actually said, “I have no clue lady”, when I asked her if they treated the same emergencies as hospital ER’s. I’ve taken a friend here in the past, and the friend was eventually transfered & admitted to the hospital. The wait time wasn’t too bad, but the careless & outright rude behavior of the doctors was unacceptable. I should have read the reviews before I took my friend here, they’re shocking. And, unfortinately, completely true. You go to these places because you have an emergency, and trust that these medical professionals will be compassionate and competent. You don’t receive that here at all. I went to the Mayo ER and was extremely happy with the compassion and knowledge the medical staff had for my family member. Hopefully Memorial will pay attention to the terrible reviews and actually make some desperately needed changes. Being a medical professional, I am completely shocked at how this location manages to stay open.Tyler ShirleyAccused me of being a drug addict because I take hot baths to ease pain. Did my drug screen after I got an IV of morphine and tried to accuse me again of doing drugs because I tested positive for methadone/opiods. Left still in pain and ended up going to Baptist downtown 5 hours after being discharged to get my gull bladder removed. Don’t go here!Michele Williams⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedA split lip from a kitchen accident sent me here about 6 months ago for a few stitches, and I had a wonderful experience! The desk staff, nurse and PA who did the stitches were all very friendly and put me and my husband completely at ease. The stitches were beautifully done and the cut healed absolutely perfectly and left no scar. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone needing emergency care in the area.WolfpacK⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNurse Robert and all the staff was greatShauna Webster-Theobald⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI haven’t been to the dentist since 2012. They were so kind and gentle and very considerate even though I was obviously scared. Everyone here has an amazing friendly and customer service attitude thank you Josh for being so sweet. Also thank you Nicole, Mickey and Dr crowgey. Ask got Josh. He is amazing with working with people who are overly nervousAna VillanuevaExtremely long wait time from being checked in to being discharged. I was in there for about 5 hrs only for the doctor to say there was nothing wrong and sent me home with ill fitting leg immobilizer and crutches. If there was nothing wrong why are you giving me these things??? When the claims went through to my insurance it came to a total cost of $6,050. Seriously this is outrageous for services that were slow and really didn’t tell me what was wrong with my leg. An urgent care or care spot is your best bet! They don’t rob you blind like these so called professionals do!Shakeera Williams⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy daughter cut herself& needed stitches. I took her to this location. They were very prompt she saw Dr. King. He was AMAZINGLY NICE & did his job well. I could tell he loves his job. Thank you! Hope this review helps someone.Jennifer Hickman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe have been here 3 times in the past 6 months (we have 3 small children ages 6 and under who play sports) and every time the service and care has been nothing less than exceptional! We can hardly sign in and sit down before we are called back. The PA (I wish I could remember his name) there is absolutely wonderful and always listens to our concerns, going above and beyond to take care of us. As a Family Nurse Practitioner myself, they are my #1 go to for emergency situations for both my family and my own patients that I have to refer out.Dena Murphree⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff at Memorial Emergency Center is amazing! They are kind and considerate and treat you with respect. I had to be at an event when I came and they did everything they could to get me in and out quickly! I can’t say enough good about this staff.Mo W⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’m floored at the reviews. I am form Indiana and I had to take my baby here bc he had a severe sinus infection he was really sick I think he was 4 at the time? I couldn’t believe how nice and caring they were . The dr even told me what to keep at home to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Unfortunately these reviews scare me and I myself will go somewhere else if need be. Maybe hey liked me or something Idk. Maybe it’s bc it was a small child that needed care. I am big on reviews and I believe them ESPECIALLY when there is more than two bad reviews. These ppl have no reason to lie. It’s so sad some of the stories I’m reading . SmhMary Alverson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe went to the Memorial Emergency Center for the first time last night and were very impressed with how easy it was, how wonderful everyone was to us, and how convenient it was. My first thought was to drive to Memorial Hospital but it is 17 miles away. This new Center is perfect for us. I will highly recommend it to others. Because we have been patients at Memorial Hospital the Center had all our records in their system as an added benefit. My husband had fallen on Saturday and his head still hurt so our doctor recommended we go to the Emergency Room. At the Center they were able to take a CT Scan and give us the results quickly. Many thanks go to all those working at the Memorial Emergency Center on Atlantic Blvd. We could not have received better service.Cathy Doll⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI almost didn’t go because of all the negative reviews….but KEEP READING>>>> Went on July 7 about 1 pm. Thought I had strep throat, and was literally in tears it hurt so bad…. Thought the wait would be long based on the number of cars in the parking lot; but it wasn’t. Waited less than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Waited less than 5 minutes for vitals, less than 5 minutes for registration, less than 5 minutes for the Dr. Less than 5 minutes for a strep test. EVERYONE was courteous, kind, quick and efficient. I even had my two small children with me, and the staff was wonderful and understanding with them as well. I didn’t actually time my visit, but I didn’t get forgotten in a room; the way it always seems when you go to the ER. I was out the door in under 90 minutes with my prescriptions and, since I’ve just moved back to town the names of 2 doctors to follow up with. They were AWESOME. They called to check on my about 2 days after my visit to make sure I was still ok and to ask about my visit. Would absolutely go there again if I needed an emergency visit.Jennifer HickmanI have come here multiple times between my three young children and myself, and the experience was always wonderful until this last visit. We have always seen the PA, Tom (unsure of his last name) in the past and he always delivered nothing less than excellent care to our family. This past visit we had the unfortunate pleasure of having Dr. Kelly Dyess as the physician who saw my child and she was the rudest, most degrading provider I have ever come across in my 13 years as a healthcare provider. I brought him in on a Friday night as he was running 104.7 degree fevers for over 24 hours that would not break with motrin and tylenol around the clock, in addition to headaches. Rather than ask about my child when she entered the room, she drilled me asking me repeated questions about “What kind of nurse practitioner” I am (I had talked with the nurse before seeing her about being in the medical field). When I finally was able to re-direct her back to my very sick child who was still with a high fever and crying, she proceeded to tell me how it was “probably a virus” without even examining him. I told her that I was fine if it was just viral, and I was hoping it was, but that I would like him at least worked up and evaluated properly to make sure nothing more was going on. She then proceeded to tell me, and I quote word for word, “We are only an ER. What exactly are you wanting?” I was APPAULED to say the least! I had no words and was almost in tears over how inconsiderate, rude, and incredibly unprofessional she was. When she finally did his assessment, she in a very sarcastic manner went through each system and told me why he didn’t need a particular test for every system she went through (CT scan for the head, strep test for his throat, scan of his belly, UA for his GU system, etc – none of which I ever asked for). I can not believe that a facility would allow a Medical Doctor to act in such a way and treat patients and their families the way she does. And according to the reviews, I am not the only one who has experienced such behavior from this provider. Never again will I ever step foot in that building with a family member of mine and never again will I ever refer my patients to that place.Sabrina Cubera⭐️⭐️It was okay and I’ve been here once before to get some treatment. Basically long story short, I came into the emergency room with some chest pains, a bad cough and just coughed up some blood. Upon my arrival into the room, the first 2 nurses were extremely nice they are the only reason why I’m giving 2 stars. The “doctor” however, no thanks. Right when he entered my room I felt very uncomfortable. As I was telling him my symptoms he kept interrupting me and rolling his eyes as if I was faking, you can clearly see I was not in well shape I was coughing and sweating. Apparently coughing up blood and having chills, sweats and chest pain is not an emergency so I basically was told either pay $76 or go home. No treatment info for me, no care for me once so ever. I am still having chest pain and if I cough up blood again I will be going to a real hospital. I will not be returning to this location and it really makes me upset because I love the staff here just disliked that one doctor.erica nigroOn Saturday I was diagnosed with a cold . I was trying to tell the doctor about my sever pain in my ear. He told me just take motrin. The next day my pain was much worse. On Monday I went to an UC and was diagnosed with severe ear infection and sinus. I will never go there agsin. I seriously was in 2 minutes. The doctor didn t seem to care.Dwight CenacCame to this place after an accident. Never saw the doctor. A nurse put a bandaid on my arm and sent me home. Next thing I know, I have bills coming to my house for $1,500+ and collections agencies blowing up my phone. Stay away from this place. Nothing but crooks. RESPONSE: If “billed as such” means I owe over $2,000 for receiving zero care at your facility, then you are upcoding your bills, which is fraud. You are an illegal practice and it won’t be long before HHS investigates you.Aaron BelchamberAvoid this place. My son fell at a playground and gashed his chin, it wasn’t lift-threatening, it wasn’t even bleeding, but we brought him in to get it looked at. They took our insurance information and I specifically asked them if they accepted it and we were reassured that they did. In 10 minutes, they disinfected the chin and applied a small dab of skin glue, throwing the rest of this tube away. A few weeks later, we got a bunch of charges totaling over $1,800! We disputed the charges informing them we had insurance and would be willing to pay the insurance-negotiated price for any services but they refused and cited that though the FACILITY accepted our insurance, the DOCTORS on call (or the PA) didn’t. We decided after almost 2 years we were going to stop payment and they immediately put us into collections for $1,037. I hope this saves other patients a “post medical billing bait ‘n switch headache” — I would avoid this place at all costs, they are unscrupulous.bill harris⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
