Memorial Hospital Reviews

Before you go to Memorial Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Pembroke Pines emergency room think.

JOSE RODRIGUEZ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was amazed how quickly my wife was attended. I left her off at the door and parked the car. When I came in, less than 10 minutes later, she had been checked in and was about to be taken back to a room to be attended. Everyone was very efficient and friendly. IcouldYen & Yen Literally only bring your child to this emergency room if you can afford to wait 4+ hours to finally see a doctor. My daughter has croup cough , can hardly breathe and won’t stop wheezing, I have yet to see a doctor.Yulia Demid Horrible experience, unprofessional doctors. I got there on the 24th of December 2018 with a referral from the urgent care about either cyst or appendix. I was in severe pain and bleeding. After all scanning and lying in the room for 4 hours, the results were – ”you don’t have anything, everything is fine. We can prescribe morphine.” seriously morphine! I refused and was told that probably I wasn’t in such a severe pain. They know better. I could hardly sit, walked pulling my leg. And to make it short There weeks later had ovarian cyst rapture! Which was confirmed by crscans in the none emergency mmi centers. When I called to tell my experience they didn’t care. Of course I was fully charged for nothing and didn’t get a preventive care.mayelin vazquez Been here for more than 2 hours they haven’t even see my daughter yet horrible hospitalRay Morrow I’ve waited in the ER for over 4hrs just to be seen. Some people were waiting more than I was and still haven’t been seen. In the ER they a huge banner that reads CONGRATULATIONS OUR TEAM ACHIEVED OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. That’s a FAT lie!!Gabz Zapata Once your nurse goes on break, don’t expect the person covering actually help you with any request. They look at you tell you okay and don’t do anything.. super disappointingBryan Nguyen Reall ? 1 doctor for 20 patients and they call it ER when I have to wait for 9 hours just to talk to doctor . Also them nurses so rude and speak different languages to loud around patients. Never ever again .crystalhill615 If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband was in the quick ER recently after experiencing a ripping/tearing sensation in his groin while doing weighted squats. The pain was so intense that he was lightheaded and almost passed out. He couldn’t walk on his own and had to be taken to the ER by his friends who could manage keeping him upright. I definitely could not. My husband is a big muscular man, weighing about 220. He’s 100lbs heavier than I am. He was seen in the quick ER by a PA named Diaz. According to my husband’s friends, Diaz was dismissive and rude. Diaz did an xray (weird, since what my husband described was a tissue injury), did a piss-poor physical examination of the area, prescribed muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory meds, and sent my husband away, telling him to go see an ortho. My husband inquired about an MRI and Diaz refused. We have insurance and they sure collected a $200 co-pay. Total nonsense since they did less than what we would have expected from an urgent care. Today we went to his primary who ordered a STAT MRI and found out that he has an avulsion of the adductor longus, meaning a muscle in his thigh completely tore away from the pelvic bone. Thanks to Memorial West and Diaz I have struggled getting him up and out of chairs, the couch, and getting him in and out of the car for today’s appointments for treatment that should have happened in the hospital. We have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow. We will NEVER go to the Memorial West ER ever again, even though we live so close. What a waste of money and total disappointment. This review is for the adult ER only. The children’s emergency room has always been great.Richard Weller⭐️⭐️⭐️Been waiting almost 10 hours for a room for Mom. Ridiculous.Karli Santana⭐️⭐️I came here on an ambulance when I was 6 months pregnant. I was passing out and they had to monitor me in the labor/delivery area. The main nurse that dealt with me had a nasty attitude. She acted like I go to the hospital every single day and I should know certain things. So whenever I did something she felt I should know not to do she would tell me with an attitude. She hates her job I’m sure. Nurses are supposed to be nurturing and they should understand that not everyone goes to the hospital every day to know how they operate or the way it works. With calm patient communication and the understanding that their patients are the reason they have a job they can be a great nurse.David Bush⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey have a separate emergency wing for kids with a train that runs through the top of all the rooms.
