Mendocino Coast District Hospital Reviews

Before you go to Mendocino Coast District Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Fort Bragg emergency room think.

Allison Tuomala⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I’m a little bit prejudice in my review because I know a lot of people who work here, and I understand that they’ve been going through administrative difficulties over the past few years. So, I’m giving this emergency room four stars, but, because of the nursing staff. Most of them are very informative and friendly. I’ve visited this emergency room 4 times in my lifetime—twice in the past year—and, of the doctors I’ve been assigned, I was very happy with the treatment I received from two of them (both female). I have severe anxiety and I’m a major hypochondriac, so a friendly doctor makes a BIG difference in my experience. They are also transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming friendly, and respect your preferred pronouns if it’s different from the paperwork. However, I’ve taken one star off because of a nurse back in 2015 who said to me in the thralls of an anxiety attack, “You should be going to your primary care physician for this. You’re wasting our time.” Unbeknown to her, it was a weekend, and I was flying home the next day and I needed urgent care in that moment and had no other alternatives. Regardless, no properly trained medical professional should EVER make you feel like you’re wasting their time. That experience prevented me from seeking emergency care at this facility for 4 years.Nicole Garrison I was in and out of this emergency room for about 3 months. Lost almost 50 lbs is that time was begging for a ct because i know i have kidney stones. (Im a nurse at another facility) i was FINALLY sent out to santa rosa for EMERGENCY SURGERY because my kidney stone that is almost 2cm has passed from my kidney to my bladder and it was pushed on my bladder for a few days making me bleed a lot. About a week or 2 before this visit i had an xray and no kidney stones were visible (xrays wont see them as well as a ct or mri) the doctor said i dont have stones and when i started crying he told me there was nothing to be scared of because i would be fine. Despite tge pain i was still in. He offered me ativan multiple times and i finally said yes and he told me my pain was most likely from anxiety. After he said that i was infuriated, like i was being treated like a hypochondriac or sonething. Now i have to endure about 3 more surgeries in order to be pain free, i have to be out of work and i was unprepared for this because it took so long for them to help me. They do almost nothing right unless youre asking for ativan. Ive been told my my surgeon and urologist to file a lawsuit againts the doctor for what had happened and mainly how i was treated. Not sure if i will but if it makes it to where no one else will have to go through kidney stones for this long with no help then so be itMisha belle If you value your life don’t get care at this emergency center. Not only are they extremely unprofessional, other close by centers also recommend not to get care here. Less than a week ago a seventeen year old girl was sent home after her parents brought her in for care. She had apendicitis and she died in her sleep. This is just one example of the many that have passed due to this facility.Emmitt .s Everyone I know gose to Willits if they need help because this place will charge you for a vist a then say sleep on it until it in really bad
