Milford Regional Medical Center Reviews

Before you go to Milford Regional Medical Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Milford emergency room think.

Anna Leah I was there for over 3 hours (over national and MA average )with a kidney stone that end up passing on it’s own before they even saw me screaming in pain and asking for help with no success, so I got up and left, they got bigger and worse, they will not see me again, I also saw at least a few other people leaving for not being seen. Place looks great though, but when you’re in pain and need help that doesn’t really matter does it ?Kris Dullea I have been seen there many times for blood clots in my brain, causing severe migraines. I am followed by a Neurologist as well as a Neurologist vascular doctor. I have a long history of headaches, and I find this extremely frustrating. I was brought there on a Friday night, treated with “their” cocktail of meds with no relief. I left, and hoped to go home and seek sleep for my cure. On Saturday, I continued to vomit ALL day. I returned, and wished I had not. The person at registration took my heart rate, registered me and told me to have a seat. 30 minutes later, I was called into triage area, after the nurses played on the computer…perhaps looking for Pokémon creatures as there was no one on the waiting area. I was triaged, with a heart rate of 143. The tech, Jackie told me my blood pressure was fine. The cuff never expanded. Once she took it, it was high..numbers not coming to mind at this time. The “nurse” never asked me One Dam Question. I was told to have a seat in the waiting room. 45 minutes had passed, and still no beds..mind you, I also have a significant cardiac history. I went to registration desk, and was told “raising hell is not gonna help get you seen”. I wanted to leave and go to Boston, but feared for my safety. Finally, I was called back to a room, where an EKG was finally done. And labs revealed a dangerous low potassium. I was treated with the utmost respect by a male nurse Chris and a Dr. Chandler. The correct meds were given to eliminate my headache and I was supplemented with potassium. The triage area has been reported to “patient advocate”. Basically I feel as if I was talking on deaf ears. There is no way the staff should have been so dismissive to me. I am a human..not a rat with no voice. Much professionalism needs to be gained to this Er before I return. Best of luck to all seeking care…sprains and sutures May be ok..beyond that, not so sure.cookie gacha lover No pillows in er room. Put patient in unclean room. Dont want patient to call nurse for beeping machines. Attitude is dismissed toward patient. Long wait for little care. Comprised quality not using precautions for infectious disease patient to patient. Very little doctor time spent with patient.under staffed not stocking proper pillows for beds. Very bright waiting room.
