Carol Gillman⭐️⭐️I keep forgetting how long the wait is here. 3 hours so far. The place is packed. I sometimes have to get blood transfusions and ER is where the doc sends me. I have to remember to go to Stanford next time. At least I know my blood work is underway to cross type me. Feel bad for the folks working here trying to keep up!EmmaMy dad had a fever 4 days ago and we visited this ER. Guess what after all blood work, urine test, EKG, X RAY, they diagnosed nothing and said this type of fever may caused by a virus and it just takes time to go away, and we paid more than $3000 after discount!! Later my dad see other doctors and it turns out that he got erysipelas, a type of skin infection on his leg. I literally pointed the redness on my dad’s leg and the doctor just didn’t take it seriously! I really think this hospital just want to steal money from patient not very care about their health. So please everyone stay away from this whole hospital , I had a bad experience in another department earlier and I feel so regret now that I came back for my dad’s issue. I don’t think they deserve the $3000 I paid to get a misdiagnosis! By the way a nurse even lost the urine sample, and come back asked for another one!Emile Jusu-DaviesNurses refused to treat me because the color of my skin. Left hospital 4hrs later with no treatmentjonel naluzThis place was so horrible service you have to wait 4hours for your turn at the ERMeaghan UhlI just got back from this hospital after being there for 6 hours. I was experiencing horrible back pain (on a scale of 1-10, 11) and was really frustrated with the wait time. Once the doctor finally came to see me about 4 hours later, she was really lovely and helpful. I feel bad for her though because it seemed like she was the only doctor working in the hospital. She was really backed up with patients and I definitely understand how stressful that can be and do not begrudge her at all. The most frustrating aspect however, was an encounter with one of the nurses. She came into my room after I had been there for 2.5 hours and I asked her if I could get some pain medicine as I was in excruciating pain. She set up and iv with me and then told me that she was giving me some pain meds. I take ownership for failing to ask what type of pain medicine it was, but I mistakenly trusted the nurse. A few minutes later, my pain hadn’t decreased at all so I go out to the nurse desk and ask one of the nurses if I could have more pain medicine as the first dose wasn’t helpful enough. He then proceeds to tell me that the previous nurse did NOT give me pain meds as she said, and instead gave me an anti inflammatory. I cannot take anti inflammatory right now as I am preparing for a procedure and can’t have anti inflammatory starting a week before my procedure date. Now I have to postpone my procedure all because I can’t take anti inflammatory right now. I am extremely frustrated that the nurse was not honest with the medicine she was giving me as this problem could have been easily avoided and it could have caused massive problems if I didn’t take the initiative to go up and ask later. Really bad experience at this hospital, do yourself a favor and go to literally any other hospital.Shilpi Dey⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad to visit the er due to a health scare. I wanted to pen a few words since this was a stressful time and my experience was surprisingly good for any ER ( my last er visit was in Fremont a long time ago) I was seen right aeay (remember, there is a triage process/ flowchart, so depending on that, you may not be seen immediately). Dr. Barbie Barrett was the attending and she was incredible!! Empathic, non-judgemental, kind, patient, and positive. Alleviated our stress greatly. Joseph was the er RN, and he was one of the nicest ad most compassionate Rns I’ve ever worked with. He kept us laughing and relaxed all the while doing an incredible job. Hope one never has to go to the ER, but with staff like these, it turns a scary time into something more manageable. Only nit: it would be nice if they had disposable socks, as at one point I didn’t have shoes as I was in the radiology room, and had to go to the bathroom barefoot. Also, their bathroom locks are confusing.Aristotle Goi have bad sirvice at mills pininsula hospital burlingame California THEY let me go home without treatments my health bad service employees nurses they not doing but nothing at the emergency department don’t trust them they put your life in danger super bad service i when to kaser Permanente AWESOME service they treatment me well they let me go home well thank u kaser Permanente El Camino south san Francisco>>>>>>> mills pininsula hospital burlingame California they stealing your money at the Emergency departmentBo T⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSorry, not sorry. An abscess in your tooth? For $833 you could have gone to a dentist like you should have and gotten a root canal and crown. Oh your baby cut her chin open? I checked, there is an urgent care that could have handled those stitches open til midnight. And did you really have to make it a point that a “Philippino” guy asked some questions? He was probably a nurse doing his job by assessing her stability. Sorry folks, we are going to take the stroke and heart attacks first, and you don’t get to decide who is more urgent, the trained professionals do. Stop clogging the Er with nonsense.Nandy Johnson⭐️⭐️⭐️DecentManoj PatrickA big No for pediatric emergencies. Not the right place . Will be writing a detailed review heremaggie davachiIf you are in the worst pain of your life don’t go to this emergency room. I walked in with chest pain. Even before they get the test results they decided that I had a heart attack, the only thing they didn’t asked me was if I want to write my WILL!!! I am still getting bill from doctors who just walked in and looked at me. They charged my insurance Over $10,000 and I am still getting bills from don’t know who and what. Please save your self and your wallet go somewhere else.Janet Geisel⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy experience was excellent. No wait when I went, Doctor and nurses very friendly and the service I received was beyond 5 stars.Brian OcampoAvoid this place like the plague if you have emergencies ! 2 hours and counting for my 8 month old with very high fever and vomiting. For an emergency service that is totally unacceptable! This seems like a consistent theme given other reviews.ARYAN EslamjouJust don’t go to this place !!!! That’s all I can say !!! Horrible customer service, no doctors available less than 2 hrs , you’ll end up to pay a pretty expensive bill and leave with mad face !! This is crazzzyyy no one really care about how people are in pain at the waiting area for at least couple hours , if they do , they would have done something but I swear they don’t!!! I would rather die than come here next time!!!Rabia Hussain⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was in India for long 3 months of I went there to visit my husbands family on way back home I caught Infulanza and I’m 2 and half pregnant too when I reached the San Francisco Airport the airline ppl called paramedics… And the took me straight from the airport to this Heavenly gorgeous hospital they put me in Emergency room after 20 mints wait I been checked with multiple doctors they all were the kindest ppl in the entire world they diagnosed my sickness right away and they admitted me on second floor which I was admitted for 3nights 4days God the nurses. God bless this hospital and the staff lots of …love peninsula hospital keep up always your great work.. Regina EstacioI like the hospital service of course but not the emergency room dislike because lets say the same people returns back and there not feeling good the er doctors doesn’t do nothing but send them home its called er for a reason not discharge the patient if there not well. Poor service and the doctor needs to improve!!!!Kefu KidsThe worse ER ever! Went in last night around 8:30pm and finally my daughter got help at 12:45am. Went in with my 9 year old daughter and the front clerk didn’t check her in after 2 hours! MY daughter had a big deep cut under her chin and was bleeding when she fell. He Didn’t look at her wound or put anything on her! Philippino guy Rushed her by asking her if any headaches or feels nauseous. Checked if she had a fever and checked her blood pressure. Then we waited for another 2 hours. When we finally went in all they can say is sorry their was other patients with more serious condition that came after you. Well it seem to me the ones who went in was talking and laughing and they came to ER after us? SMH My daughter walked out with 10 stitches from inside her chin and the outside because it was too deep of a cut. The Doctor was awesomw but the front clerk needs to get it together! Never going there again with their bs policy “we treat everyone equal!”Lane GrossBeen waiting here for almost 3 hours and they keep Calling people that’s just coming in and I’ve been here for too long. Went to ER on a Saturday morning around 5:15 AM to get prescriptions for a tooth infection (abscess) and was there for less than 20 minutes (I think it took the clerk more time to check me in than the actual interview with Doctor and intern trainee). Bill $833 Am disputing the charge with the hospital today. No wonder insurance premiums are high.Adan Arriaza Salazar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommendedpretty good
