NCH Healthcare Northeast Reviews

Before you go to NCH Healthcare Northeast, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Naples emergency room think.

Greisy Toste The worst experience I ever had in an emergency room. Got there with my son at 3:30 and I let super upset at 5pm and no one saw him , plus there is an old lady crying of pain and everyone is acting like something is going on , like no one cares , it was very sad. I absolutely do not recommend this place as an ER. I feel that if someone get there dying has to make the line because everyone has an emergency, like the lady on the front desk told me and man that were complaining about the lady in pain crying for such long time and no one came out to assist her.Jim Lucero⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommended(I’m using my boyfriend account for my review) Wow, the nurses here are so amazing I took my father here today because he was having some abdominal pain and he also had fallen, he got checked out right away! There were two nurses both of them were blonde( don’t remember their names sadly) they very nice and helpful, I knew my father was in great care and he really liked it here. I recommend this emergency care to everyone you won’t be disappointed.Colin Fitzgerald⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Had a piece of metal stuck in my hand oh, they were very professional and got me in and out pretty quicklyPO⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI visited NCH ER 10/25/2019 late morning and received excellent care. A close friend who is an incredible RN (not affiliated with NCH) recommended this ER (so that tells you something right there). Check-in with lobby receptionist was done efficiently with a very pleasant receptionist. Lobby was spotless. Security guard nearby, chilling and looking like real deal professional uniformed security. I seated myself down after check-in for 30 seconds when a nurse called my name. All the i’s are dotted and t’s crossed at this point. There were three people in front of me who were also called in quickly. My first thought was now I’ll have to wait inside for who knows how long to see a doctor. Not the case at all. Nurse walked me to a private room, did my vitals, asked me a few questions and within minutes a PA walked in, wanted the low down and walked out to prep the MD. In walks an MD within a few short minutes. He was young, polished, qualified and concerned, he really studied and knew his stuff. The prescriptions he prescribed worked within hours after I arrived home. I mention the MD’s prescribed meds because I had seen and ENT two days prior whose prescribed meds did nothing for my symptoms hence I’m in ER because ENT was doing surgeries all day. It worked out so well for me. I won’t hesitate a split second to return to this ER if I ever need to and I will recommend it also. I recommend it now. I’m a full time resident who comes from the land of doctors in the northeast who are some of the best in the world. Yes, world. Today’s experience compares. Such a relief to know and be able to share. Let me add….I have (probably had by the time this is read) a severe Otomycosis in both ears and I admit this was not a life or death situation but brutal symptoms that lasted a week already. Who has time for this? The likely culprit ….ear buds, that’s right, ear buds. I will never wear those bacteria infested things again. I threw every pair I own away. You cannot sterilize them enough and ensure they will work again. Google about wearing ear buds and working out and wearing them repeatedly and for durations of time in warm humid locations. I’ll also never stick a q-tip in my ears again. Another painful lesson learned.Marcy Diamond Ed is a piece of work! I was filming my son because he hurt his knee I had been there the previous week with my other son, had filmed and it was no problem I come back this time and Ed is just rude has no bedside manner tells me I’m not supposed to be filming I said OK no problem so I stopped. I was filming my son then the lady starts yelling at me from behind the desk in the back and I just told them both to have a nice day then they were yelling at me have a nice day back! t was just the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had and I will never go back there!! rude rude people that need some sensitivity training something might be policy, something might be Law but you can nicely state that to people, Not make a scene in the emergency room and act like fools I have called to complainCollin Stowell⭐️⭐️⭐️Clean facility – but the health care wasn’t great. I was told by my physician verbatim “…sometimes we don’t diagnose the issues here.” Pretty unbelievable to hear to be honest. I was told they couldn’t figure out what was wrong and discharged me. They seemed to give up on trying to figure it out and rather than doing more diagnostics, they discharged me. The staff was very courteous and kind but they seemed to rush me out rather than figure out the issue. Unfortunate I guess.Frosty Naples⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAdmitted late in the evening with excruciating abdominal pain. Nurse took excellent care in treatment, diagnosed with Kidney Stone via CT. Discharged in about 2hrs with proper medication and next step treatments.michelle p Horrible. I was taken to this place in an ambulance after a slip and fall. My right wrist my elbow and shoulder in excruciating pain. I was treated very rudely and as if I was faking to get pain medication. I have never been treated so awful in my life! I will never return to this place. Drive the extra 2 miles to the real ER this place sucks.Douglas Zepeda⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI recently made a trip to the ER there and everyone was very welcoming and professional. I received prompt care and they even pointed me in the right direction for an open pharmacy as it was Christmas day. Highly recommend this hospital!E G Very RUDE staff who lacks compassion and would probably do better at being baristas at a Starbucks or something other than “caring” for the health of people. I came in at 5 am with tremendous pain, nausea, vomiting… the older skinny blonde nurse was the worst. She was upset every time we asked anything. Like, why were we bothering her. Every time we said something, she’d reply with an attitude. She even told us to “shut up” because she needed to concentrate on the IV. Mind you, I was in a lot of pain and just voicing discomfort. Nobody came to check unless someone came out of the room to call them, even though I was screaming from the pain but they were in a meeting and couldn’t be bothered. Then this lady, the older blonde nurse, came back in and I said I wanted to throw up and she threw a bag at me and said, “there” and proceeded to leave the room. Then came back to do an exam the doctor ordered, and I wanted to throw up still so I was sitting up, and she pushed me down hard and said “lay down, I need to do this now”. I said I wanted to throw up, to give me a minute and she shouted, “throw up then or let me do the exam”. She was VERY rude. The male nurse was also cold and uninterested. Nobody introduced themselves or showed any care for my pain. I will never return to this place!!!!! They should change personnel because the last thing you want to do when you’re in that much pain is deal with attitudes and cruel people. This is for the ER at the corner of Collier Blvd and Immokalee RdAn Lee⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The place NCH inmokalee and 951 nice place ( but they are don’t know how? $$$$$ good service go to downtown big hospital the best ( good Dr or someone help you quickly)Stephanie Monde-Brooks I went to this location in July after I experience some bleeding and knew that couldn’t be normal because I was 6 weeks pregnant. I went to this emergency room to get checked out. The did an ultrasound and then did some blood tests. The doctor later came in not seeming to have any empathy to tell me I was having a miscarriage. I was a mess this was my first pregnancy and I had wanted it for so long. Welll their information was incorrect as I am 6 months pregnant with the same pregnancy. I feel like they definitely didn’t do their job throughly and I was just another person to push through the system. I would not recommend this place.Catherine Epps⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery quick and efficient place with a great staff!Hai Le⭐️⭐️⭐️Not good place so they are don’t know, what do, and how ,best go to downtown Naples big hospital safety your lifeKaitlyn Pilarski There are bugs there and the waiting room never gets cleaned just the rest rooms. The physicians group is awful. I worked for them since April 2018 and there is a lady named Kathy DeJesus there. She will lie to you about appointments, doctors, scheduling, if she does not feel like doing something she wont she will lie to your face so she does not have to walk. She buds in on every conversation and takes control she treats her staff like they are pets. If she ever nudges a PSR that means shes telling them to keep there mouth shut so we dont try and help out the patient. She will say you can not do things but if you talk to Eddy the actual manager it’s a lie. Always ask for Eddy never kathy. She has a favoritism towards a cardiologist so if your a cardiologist patient and it’s not hers good luck getting any type of help.jolanta kielesinska⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommendedi agree with the opinion before.absolutely the best emergency room I have ever stayed to. very clean.kind and professionial staff! you are great!Peggy Lewis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAbsolutely the best ER I’ve ever been in. They were prompt, clean and very kind. My son had an accident and every person we encountered had an amazing personality and made him laugh and totally comfortable! Thank you for such awesome service!Darlyne Pulgarin⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedExcellent staff and clean facilities, fast services, kind and compassionate workers..!!White I agree with the review below me. If you are under 20 weeks pregnant, and your having trouble with your pregnancy, weather it be bleeding or from dehydration, you unfortunately have to go to the regular ER, and coming here was a mistake too, they just are the worst and uncaring. I went earlier this week for hyperemesis gravidarum. My body does not react to pregnancy well at all and I have to get fluids often from dehydration. It was late, regular doctor was closed, and I needed some fluids quick and this hospital is closest for me. I got in, got blood taken and gave them a urine sample. I barley and bag of fluids before the nurse threw the bag away when there was still plenty of fluids left in that bag, she also gave me a TERRIBLE drug to help with nausea and said it might make me sleepy. I can’t even think of the name right now, it’s in my notes but wow, it KNOCKED ME OUT! I honestly felt like I was on anesthesia, I could barley open my eyes, or even walk. It made my nausea so much worse, and have me a terrible headache. It was so terrible, I felt neglected honestly. I complained that my throat and chest started to hurt and the doctor replied “how dare you say something bad about this medicine, it’s great!” and didn’t even do anything about it. I kept coughing, something wasn’t right. I was in shock! I just wanted to get out of that building now, and the nurse told me “don’t come back here no more.” Nice grammar. Then she goes out talking so loudly, laughing and saying profanity. I left more sick then when I got there. I went to the Birth Place after and begged to be seen because I am so tired of going to ER’s and getting treated like TRASH! Especially because I am pregnant, I have a living child I’m growing inside and these nurses/doctor don’t give a damn about anyone anymore it seems like. The Birth Place looked at my blood work and urine that they took at NCH, I needed at least 3 bags of fluids, the ketones in my urine were so high, it could have been so dangerous. CARLESS nurses and doctors. This isn’t my first experience like this, a couple years ago, they pretty much told me to hit the road as well when I was sick as a dog. Thought I’d give them one more shot. Never again! Get a grip NCH!Susan Rasins⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBoth my college age son and I were seen at this facility today. I can’t speak highly enough about the care. From the gentleman at the front desk, to the registration, nursing and doctor. Everyone was kind, courteous, professional and competent. Ultrasound tech was so pleasant and made me feel at such ease. Fortunately (for us), word hasn’t really gotten out about this place. Practically no wait. They moved so quickly and in less than an hour I had the test needed to rule out a scary medical concern, and this was in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. I would enthusiastically recommend this quality medical facility!!Harmonie Friday-Scofield⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Was called back and seen by a doctor very quickly. Everyone was VERY friendly. Did take a bit for my daughter to get an x Ray but it was later at night with many people with the flu there so I’m sure that x rays were in demand. My only complaint would be that the nurse who helped us at the end seemed to be new. I don’t mind that at all but she didnt know how to make a splint or how to place my daughter’s arm in a sling. I guess I feel like that is something to look at before walking into the patient’s room to do. No big deal but if I had to say something that would be it. Would rather come to this emergency room than any other here in NaplesKrystal Aanerud Disgusted!!! My 2 year old son has a fever of 101! And the nurses are choosing who they want to deal with. We been here for over 3 hrs. My son burning up and screaming. But they dont care.. This place should be shut down!!Kel Med⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery clean not busy easily accessible professional services Doctor Patterson was very professional knowledgeable and took her time ordering all necessary tests for my cousin. I would recommend this hospital over the other ones such as regional.Yobany Martinez Today is tuesday 2/27/18 my fiance fracture and dislocated her wrist last Thursday night they did an x-ray, put a cast, they only thing doctors said was to go to the specialist which they provide name and number, and they give her some painkillers that was about it, don’t even attempt to put the bone back, later that night she had to come back because the pain was unbearable and a team of different nurses said that the cast was put it wrong that they needed to do a new cast which I don’t know if it was to charge for new cast or evidently the nurses the first time did it wrong, then another doctor come and he was saying that he should put the bone back but he was hesitating about it and finally he didn’t do anything, he said the same thing the first doctor said, you need to see an specialist, which we call next day Friday in the morning to find out that the earliest appointment is for Thursday next week as you can see she’s been dealing with the pain for all these days, today is Tuesday February 27th, I send the x-rays to friend of mine in Chicago which is a an orthopedic surgeon I he was so disappointing to see that the emergency room didn’t do anything and the doctors don’t even attempt to put the bone back and not only that but he’s disappointed the fact that with a fracture and a dislocated wrist she has to wait until Thursday a week from when this happened, as you can see if you break a bone or fracture or something like that please go to different place when you can find somebody to help you, maybe if you break a nail and you go to this hospital they might be able to help you, it really is a joke and it’s sad but we have to express ourselves and the medical service in some areas in this country especially in the state of Florida it’s just bad, I hope this will be helpful for anybody that is thinking to go over there.Patricia Spatcher⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was there on 5/9/16 I was rolled straight to admission gave my information the next 5-10 minutes I was in the back being seen Thank you for being so kind and fast.Adam Leja Absolutely appalled and disturbed by the behavior of the healthcare “professional”(I am hard-pressed to refer to him as a professional) Dr. Alberto. My girlfriend was there trying to get a RESCUE INHALER for her chronic Asthma. Dr. Alberto proceeded to tell her she cant come here for that because this is an ER and ended his spit by referring to her and my 1 year old son as “white trash” as he walked out of the room. A blonde nurse, who I am assuming was his scribe, accompanied him out of the room. She was the one to whom he was speaking when he referred to my girlfriend as white trash. Both, the doctor and nurse, have denied everything at this point. A grievance has been filed with a seperate entity and I will continue to pursue consequence. Never have I been so angry. I will do everything in my power to have action taken against Dr. Alberto. I do not refer anyone to go to Northeast NCH.Tony B⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAmazing staff, smart doctors and a clean and beautiful place.Stephanie Cloman⭐️⭐️My experience here was terrible, besides my awesome nurse who was also the charge nurse, who was the only one who seemed to actually be working. I’m a nurse who works in another state and was here on vacation. First off, like another review, they ask several personal questions at the reception desk, loud enough for everyone in the waiting room to hear. One of my symptoms was that my throat felt like it was closing and I was having trouble swallowing. In any good hospital, when you feel like your throat is tight you are immediately brought back. I was told by the receptionist with no medical background, that if it gets worse to let them know. About 10 mins later, my nurse came out to get me. Awesome guy who knew what he was doing! I explained everything going on, then the Physicians Assistant came in, and I re-explained everything. She told me she felt my symtpoms were from hyperventilating from anxiety of flying. I re-explained that I did not have any anxiety, nor did I hyperventilate. She wanted to do nothing. I, THE PATIENT, had to tell them everything I wanted sent- blood and urine labs, fluids, and Zofran for my terrible nausea. All they kept pushing was to send flu and strep. I knew I did not have either and a strep test wasn’t happening with how nauseous I was (they have to culture the back of your throat.) My nurse grabbed my labs and placed an IV. While he was sending the labs, another nurse came in, who I won’t mention her name (I only knew it from looking at her badge). She didn’t introduce herself, only said “Did he run the strep and flu?” I was like “No and we aren’t doing the strep test until I get Zofran for nausea.” She said “Oh we can do it” then preceded to shove a swab up my nose with force for the flu culture. It was extremely painful. I’ve sent flu tests on patients and she didn’t not have to take it that forcefully! Then after that I said “I’m absolutely not doing the strep test.” She then went out into the hallway yelling about how I refused the strep test until I got Zofran and I heard my nurse say, “yes that was the plan all along.” Then my nurse came back in and got me hooked up to fluid and a dose of IV Zofran. My labs came back normal and negative. The Physicians Assistant from earlier came back in and said she didn’t know what was wrong with me, but if it got worse to come back. Then the crazy lady with the flu swab, came in to take my IV out, got blood everywhere while taking it out, and put enough tape on my arm for 4 people, wrapping it all the way around my arm, which I removed after walking out the door. During her explaining my discharge institutions another woman comes in asking her if she wanted Starbucks- like it couldn’t have waited the extra minute to ask?! It was extremely unprofessional. Once I got home I contacted my best friend who is a doctor and said that I had a complicated migraine and told me I should have gotten a cocktail of meds in the ER to break it, but recommended what medication I should take over the counter to help. Next time, if I need to go to the ER, I definitely will not go here and drive further to the actual hospital. As a medical professional, I highly DO NOT recommend this place. The only good part was my one nurse, and if he wasn’t working, I don’t even know how that place would function.jeff goodman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy name is Karen H. Not the persons pic and name above .March 29th after a weekend of continuous extreme abdominal pain . I had a neighbor drop me at NCH HEATHCARE NORTHEAST. After blood , urine and CT testing the Dr. informed me I needed emergency surgery that my appendix needed removed and puss pockets had formed around them with infection . The nurses , Techs , front desk and Dr. gave me professional , friendly , compassionate , quick and excellent care . I was transported by ambulance to NCH hospital on Immokalee Rd. The surgeon on call and his surgery team gave me again excellent care. Unfortunately when I woke up admitted in my room , Which I was supposed to stay till next day or possibly next 3 days , I got horrible , unacceptable ,traumatizing, unprofessional, and uncompassionate treatment from a female nurse.Rolando Diaz I’m writing on behalf of my parents who visited this E.R. They are close to their 70 of age, and I don’t know if it’s because they are old and where alone ( I was at another E.R. With an emergency) the treatment given was awful. They where not busy and my parents ended leaving after almost 3 hrs waiting on the doctor. My dad had a terrible cough and he didnt even get a pat in the back. My mom with pain would have to get up to help him. They Had x-rays done and they are still waiting for results. Nurse would be licking her finger to pass pages. What type of professionals do they hire? My dad and I as health professionals, DONT RECOMMEND this “E.R”.Eileen Gardner⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat care and staff.Robin Craig⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAwesome staff, knowledgeable, and friendlySergio Perez Staff very rude and disrespectful…
