Before you go to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Newton emergency room think.
Alex C⭐️⭐️Doctors are rushed. You are seen by PA and PA student and then seen by the doctor for a minute so that they can also charge a ridiculous high fee as well. When the doctor comes in to see you, you feel rushed and you feel like that the doctor just wanna get out of the room and not want to explain anything further. I liked newton Wellesley hospital before but somehow recently all my experiences with the doctors there have been no more than lackluster. Won’t recommend.Dmitrii MalashkinBased on previous reviews 3 hour wait is a normal time to be here and wait for help and any adequate answer from them, very kindly doctors but the whole process is a mess. I got here at 5 pm it’s already 8 pm I’m still waiting…. if you have a chance to go to see another doctor please do so otherwise no one can help your here…Deborah Robinson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy husband received prompt examination and diagnosis, by two teams of physicians. Blood tests were done. Within six hours, he was admitted to the hospital. Outstanding patient care by entire staff.Shujuan LiuMy husband had an emergency at beginning of June. The doctor knew it is kidney stone already but she still took CT for him. The treatment was very simple but the charge was very randomly high. We already got over $6000 bill!!!!0311 Infantry⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedExcellent group of ER Dr.s/nurses..very grateful for you guys. Thankyou keep up the great work !Luli RamirezWorst experience in my life. I was sent to ER with my 8yo from the doctor’s office because she suspected appendicitis. After 4 hours of waiting with my kid in pain, I started to become desperate. The lack of empathy shown by the front desk people was amazing. I started to cry out of anger, impotence and worry (nobody explained nothing to me, I asked if we should go to another hospital, how bad, how fast an appendicitis could be), we were finally allowed in, in a bed in the er’s hallway. One more hour of waiting… there the first nurse that came, treated me horrible, saying that they had more important cases that my son so I shouldn’t complain (I asked how does she know how acute my son was, if nobody had seen him). After more than 5 hours, we could finaly see a doctor. We arrived at 6pm left the ER at 1:30 pm. All to make a simple ultrasound. It is my intention to never come back there. Comming from a 3rd world country, I can say that this place is worst than the hospitals there.Masoud BaratiAbsolutely a mess! Long waiting list. Unfriendly staff, horrible env. Every other hour they called and asked my wife stupid questions like which country she was born! even though she could hardly talk and was crying due to severe pain! Each time we were called and thought its our turn, they asked more questions and then said go sit and wait again! Even the parking fee paying machine was broken and couldn’t read credit cards and swallowed the cash! I mean what is this. They should be ashamed.Paul Baril2 hours and waiting for my friends concussion.Debbie KennedyWent to our son’s doctor for an injured hand. They sent over orders for an xray so we could avoid the ER wait and fee. They sat for over 3 hours waiting for xray. I better not be charged for this. Ridiculous and I like NWH.Leshae Smith⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedExcellent staff who provide wonderful care!!!!Aaron GaoWe had a bug going around our family, started from the au pair, to my wife. Non were able to get well without antibiotics treatment. The au pair developed pneumonia… Once we found out that two of our kids were running fever, we took them to Newton-Wellesley ER on Sunday hoping that they could get treated sooner and reduce the impact to their school and activity schedules for the week. We paid 200 co-pay, went through the waits in ER with our two kids. They were discharged and got NO TREATMENT and NO PERSCRIPTION. Of cause the next day, their fever went to 102.9 and their suffering got worse. The doctors at Newton-Wellesley had no mercy on our kids?! They need to wait until our kids’ ears show dripping pus or their lungs inflaming with mucus before they treat them with medication? I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS.holla vincethe place asks for everything before gets you treated…my hand was bleeding while the nurses just laughing in the roomEduardo RolinWaiting for 3 hours Mustafa Tatar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAs a retired 37-year-old Yen, I found the hospital to be very contemporary, organized, organized and relevant. I congratulate those who have contributed …
