Before you go to NGMC, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Winder emergency room think.
Vicente Soldevilla⭐️⭐️⭐️They’ve somewhat improved since North Ga took over but they’re still severely lacking on the human side. The only reason i’m giving them 3 and not 2 stars is because I can tell they’re working on improving and have done so in the last few years. The one thing i’d have to say though, if you’re a female you’re better off going elsewhere. EVERYTHING is always “It’s your period” even thought it’s not. I take my wife to the one in Braselton because that treat you better there and actually care.Logan’s Custom496⭐️⭐️⭐️The nurses and doctor were very nice and comforting. They made sure i had everything and anything i needed. The lady working at the front desk on Friday 12/20/19 around 3:00pm needs to be fired. The most rude and unpleasant person ive ever talked to in a hospital. When I first walked in she had zero care or concern. Rolled her eyes a couple times and just looked like she didnt want to be there. I will definitely be calling the hospital about her.S. Denise SmithI brought my minor son into the emergency room because he was in pain he could not walk on his foot and was begging me for pain medication. He hurt his big toe it was purple and blue and I have never seen him in so much pain. After we checked in with the nurse and were left in the waiting area after some time he was taken back to X-Ray. Once the X-Ray was done they wheeled him back out into the ER waiting room. We were then placed in a hall. On the way back from having the X-Ray I noticed there were quite a few ER rooms empty with no patients in them. Yet we were NEVER placed in a ER room. We were left in the waiting area and then placed in a hall and all of our personal conversation was aired right there in the ER waiting area in front of other patients no respect for our HIPPA Rights or our privacy. My son also had a wart on his knee I was told they don’t remove warts I said ok and asked for a referral to a local dermatologist several times and was never given a room or a referral. I have never been treated in this manner before . I’m sure we will be billed for the visited but we left the ER still in need as my son was still in pain and still needed the wart removed. So this Visit was a waste of time and money .Cropmadness VanceIf you value your life and your time DO NOT GO to this facility! I just spent 5 hrs there in excrutiating pain to be visited by the doctor for approximately 3 minutes. He then ordered a CT scan and blood work. The nurse (Erica) was the only reason I gave this ER 1 star. She was amazing! It took nearly 2 hours for my CT scan to be read only to be informed by a nurse (not the dr) that they found nothing and I was being discharged. They never asked for my pain level or offered any type of pain medicine while I was there. Just because I have a high tolerance for pain and am not carrying on like the majority of the people there, does not mean I do not need pain medicine. Fine if you don’t want to prescribe it to me, but at least offer it while I am there and you can supervise the dosing. Oh, and did I mention I never even made it into a room. All this was done in the hallway! Yes, that’s right, THE HALLWAY!! I left in the same amount of pain as when I got there. Extremely frustrating and if I am ever in need of emergency services again, I will definitely NOT choose this facility!
