Jennifer YllanesAfter battling with fevers of 104 for 6 days and multiple visits to urgent care and the pediatrician. I came to this hospital seeking some answers since all testing had been negative. As a health care professional sitting on the other of side of the patient experience all I can say is that I had a terrible experience. Dr. Oliveira in the ER did not show any compassion or empathy for parents who worried about their child experiencing persistent fevers. First she walked into the room and I could barely make out what she was saying through her mumbling. Second when she asked to explain what was going on she made us feel like we were incorrect in worrying about these fevers. No big deal. Maybe not to her since she is clearly a burned out physician. This will be the first and last time I come to this emergency room. I will say the nurse Ashley was great!Sendil KumarVery worst, please dont go this hospital, unnecessary testsERKS vI went to this Er last night 3/15/19 got there at 12 am with my 3 year old son who had a earache and a bad cold i know it might sound like nothing to them but as a worried mother it was very urgent for me to have my son seen. I waited patiently in the waiting room that was really cold and got called in 3 hours after ,they checked my son and then waited some more it was 4:15am when i was ready to walk out after that long wait and the nurse helped me and a Doctor came to see my son and said he had an ear infection , then waited some more to get the medication for him the staff there was not mean but the nurse who came to give my son 5he medicine was not very pleasant and honestly was not very compassionate with my boys disconfort ,i felt like they are under staffed and need more doctors at the Er willing to help and the staff needs to either be there to help or not be there at all. I left at 5:15 am and i had to go to work at 6 am i think it was very poor service but i hope this review is ready by someone who actually cares for 5he care for the patients more than how many pretty hallways the hospital has. All er visits might not be urgent to some but to us as parents they are all urgent and in need of attention otherwise we wouldnt waste our time going to see a Doctor.Natalia Bertrand⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Took my newborn to the ER, and it took a very long time to be called in. Asked if I could go in the nursing room (so I can breastfeed my baby in peace and away from others who may be sick) and was denied, I was told it was only for employees. Also, provided my pediatrician’s information and records/results were not sent. Was very difficult to manage medical records department to send records to my doctor. At my pediatrician’s office, request for records were sent but results were never faxedLino Quagliariello⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis hospital was just amazing. After a awful experience at Jackson Memorial, we had to take our newborn son to the hospital for lack of nutrition (yes, Jackson Memorial did not detect clear signs of it besides other things). What a breath of fresh air. Modern facilities, very nice doctors and nurses, nice accommodations at the NICU. Hope to not return, but if we need assistance to our son this is the place we will go.Nancy TarafaIf you have a choice, take your child to a different ER. The service is horrible. They do not care about you or your sick child. No one seemed to care that I was there with a very sick child. They leave you in a cold room for hours and do not even have kleenex! No compassion by nurses or doctors. The WORST part of all is that they misdiagnosed my son which caused his illness to get worse and last longer than it needed to. They didn’t bother to do any blood test or skin test. Thank god we visited his regular pediatrician the next day and they confirmed with a test that the Miami Childrens ER was incorrect on the diagnosis they gave my son. STAY AWAY from this ER.mayelín leal⭐️⭐️40 minutes waiting in a room and nobody has shown up to see my daughter. Horrible place.Hazel JuliethLousy service, apparently a doctor for 50 patients, I came at 12 am and it is 3 am and nothing they attend to us, bad service will never come again reina isabel⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery cozy Jany Muñoz⭐️⭐️⭐️A month ago I had the best opinion of this hospital but today I feel disappointed my daughter was hospitalized 4 days here because of convulsions a month ago, we came out with a diagnosis that supposedly was something vagal and today we returned Pk worsened it had a spill in one eye after of convulsing the very kind emergency nurses but the very poorly educated emergency supervisor did not stop to listen to me treat my daughter in a cold and unfriendly way, if she does not like to work with children better to go to work at another hospital very disappointed and waiting for me not to come back with that bad form as if I was upset Pk I am a mother and as a mother I do not like that nobody treats my daughter ugly who is a 4 year old little girl I think I am leaving this hospital and I am leaving very Sad Pk for me was the best.
