Stephanie F⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOur son recently injured his leg in a bicycle accident. this ER is close to our house and we have used there services before. They are always quick to get us in and fast and efficient getting us out. I knew about half way there that my sons injury’s were more severe than I first suspected. I called and let them know we were close and asked them to meet us outside to help get him out of the car. My first face to face contact was with The paramedic on staff named Brett. He assessed the situation and acted quickly. My son had a broken femur. The nurse and doctor were quick acting, but Brett seemed to take the reins on this one and knew what to do. He handled this situation amazingly and quickly. We were transferred to a larger hospital after my son was stabilized. The team was amazing and got done what needed to be done. They helped to calm my son and help him with the pain as much as possible. They were informative and explained everything to me while it was happening. I think this ER is great! I believe they went above and beyond to help us and did a fantastic job getting his leg stabilized. Thank you! Thank you Brett. I don’t know if you will read this, but this was a horrible, traumatic experience for my son. He saw a lot of doctors and people through out the last few days. The name he remembers is yours! You are awesome at your job and if we ever need ER we will be back and hope you will be working. Unless it is a broken femur. Then we will call 911! Thank you for taking such great care of my baby.MattyJ FromLA⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSmall facility but great staff never a wait good care. They do have to send labs out to a larger facility if u need blood work that can take a bit longer but if it’s nothing too serious and you dont want to spend a week at the emergency room I highly recommend this hospital best in the area for timeizthewiz⭐️⭐️Medical staff seemed to be friendly, but didn’t seem too interested in running additional testing for the issues I was having. We left one ER and went to another a day later and they took all the right steps and did further testing /Ct scan to find the cause of issues I was having. Not all hospitals are created equal.Josiah Arment⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’ve been here so many times, mainly for a sore throat and they did always help a lot! I would either leave there feeling great after treatment or they would prescribe an antibiotic that would heal me in a couple days 🙂Miriam Leilani D’Soto⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHave always received the best care. Love North Suburban Hospital.Mona Ready Please DO NOT go here. The staff is friendly but their prices, even with insurance negotiations, are absolutely unaffordable. I went in and received what seemed like pretty basic medical care, and between two visits over $14,000 was charged. I received antibiotics, blood work, and 1 bag of saline. You read that right….$14,000. I still owe 5700. It’s completely outrageous. I sadly will risk my health in order to never go back. Please AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I’ve had my bill reviewed to make sure all the charges were necessary and billed correctly, and of course because it’s the hospital reviewing it, they said it was all billed correctly. There is no help for those of us that require medical intervention. No one is standing up for us especially this hospital. There is literally nothing that can be done and these places know it so they charge whatever they want sadly. Again avoid this place at all costs.Kasey Beltran⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWent yesterday around 10pm. I initially thought it was going to take longer but as soon as we got here we were seen. Everything was amazing, especially Brett!!!Heather Augimeri⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone here is amazing. I was seen quickly and was treated amazing. I had a minor complication from a surgery a month prior. This facility is great.Kori Leah⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDr. Dietrich is very kind and caring. He listens to what you have to say and makes you feel like you matter, which is something I find is sadly becoming rare in the healthcare field. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.Anjel Garcia Wow this was the absolute WORST place to receive ANY kind of healthcare. I went in bkuz I was in pain from what I THOUGHT was a kidney infection. After the CT scan I was told that I had an ovarian cyst which was on the opposite side of where I was feeling pain. They gave me an antibiotic “INCASE” I was right about the kidney infection but was told that the Dr wasnt convinced that’s what it was. They treated my pain with a steroid that made me feel 100x worse then was told that it wasnt likely that medication could’ve made me feel worse, they disregarded anything i felt and instead asked me what would be best for them to treat me with and i simply told the physician i couldnt tell her how to treat me and that should be HER job to make that call. She wanted to give me a lidocaine drip but after I refused she said she couldnt help me with my pain. She obviously felt like I was drug seeking even tho the pain I was in had me in tears from the time I walked in. She stated that I did have an infection and that i had blood in my urine but she couldnt tell me where it was coming from. SERIOUSLY? AND THIS IS AN MD!. I declined further treatment and asked them to discharge me so that I could go to a real hospital and get real medical attention and she apologized that she couldnt help me. After I got my d/c summary it said that I was diagnosed with a kidney infection which was what I Thought that it was not the dr. I was charged thousands of dollars for diagnosing myself and was not given treatment for the kidney infection that supposedly I had. After I went to the real hospital they found a several kidney stones in my right ureter and was told they never seen any kind of ovarian cyst that was mentioned at this place. Overall, this place is the absolute worst place u could go do not waste ur time here. They have bad reviews for a reason! Even the nurse tiffany told me she didnt agree with the way they treat people and stated that everyone who walks in is treated as a drug seeker and will not get help if they are in pain here. She was the one who sent me to the bigger hospital so I am very grateful for her and I will fight the billing company for eternity if I have to bkuz this place will never see a dime from me. I even notified my insurance and said they will not be paying for a service I did not receive. Do not let them give u the drug DECADON bkuz it made me so sick and all they said was “yeah it makes people feel very I’ll after taking it” but that it SHOULD ware off. These ppl have no idea what they are doing here and will not look at u like a patient but instead will treat you like you are lying and drug seeking. Thanks for NOTHING!!! Absolutely the worst ER I have ever been to!!!!! Even the paramedic missed my vein and u can see them just by looking! This place doesnt even deserve one star and should be shut down! Wow what a disgrace.matt barton Awful place!! Stay away take an ambulance to a real hospital. My wife was rear ended by a reckless driver and had some neck pain went to this place because it’s close and literally some doctor came in for 3 seconds and then sent her home with ibpeofuen so she could go back behind her station and text with the other nurses. Also my insurance paid you 1100.00 and then told you that you were over charging for care.. I’m still getting letters. I refuse to pay so a doctor can text on her phone… sorry America not today. I need proof as to why you’re charging for the other overages for the worst care we’ve ever had in our life and for doing nothing for my wife! I’m going to show up in person at the billing department and demand proof of the care received that was worth another 500.00.. it wasn’t given so I’m not paying. Literally left the exam room to a nurses station full of nurses with faces in their phones. I’m not paying your employees to text while people are hurt and so your over paid doctor can have social hour all day.Gerry Jardin When we arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, there were 4 cars there….probably the staff and then we made the fifth car. I think they were just waiting for a customer with full insurance to show up. It turned out I had strep. But by the time they were done with me, I felt they had exploited my insurance to the max, ordering every test that included a chest x-ray. I asked the physician if he wouldn’t have heard an indication of fluid in my lungs indicating pneumonia before ordering a chest x-ray, and the doctor said it would serve as a baseline. I said I didn’t think that was necessary and yet they just wheeled me in and gave me one anyway. I was feeling too sick to push back any more. After all that, the strep test turned out positive and I got an antibiotic (which my regular physician who could see me in a couple of days said was was in adequate). When my bill came, it was $8000. $8000. My insurance company negotiated that down to under $3000, but my part of that was still outrageous. I was very well attended, I appreciated being able to see a doctor right away, but I thought the over care was just a way to charge $8000 for my visit. That is so, so outrageous that it drives my one star rating.David Hurlbut After my initial review I was given a “Thank you for your honesty” Reply. “And this will help us moving forward” WHAT ABOUT HELPING ME NOW? THIS ER RECEIVED $17,000 FROM MY INSURANCE FOR A ONE HOUR VISIT. YET THEY ARE STILL SHAKING ME DOWN FOR $5000 MORE. COME ON!!! IF YOU WANT TO HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS, START WITH ME. YOU’VE ALREADY MADE 17K FROM MY VISIT. the following was my original statement……Stay away! Staff is very kind but stand alone ER’s will kill you with billing. I went in for an hour visit and the bill was $22,000 disgraceful. My insurance paid $17,000 and they’re still harassing me. Isn’t $17,000 enough for an hour?? So i’m on a payment plan for 5 years. Horrible. One hour visit. No surgery. No overnight and they charge $22,000. Who in the world can afford that? This ER should be ashamed of itself.Amy Sunderland⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey were great. Friendly, compassionate and had me out of there in no time! I highly recommend going here for your emergency health care needs. Thanks to the staff!Changing Shades I had a terrible experience with this place today. Yesterday I found a young man that had hung himself in my music room… I wasn’t doing very well so out driving I stopped in.the staff was crazy nice..the doctors wanted to give me meds and a note for work etc… But I didn’t have a ride. I made it home found someone to take me back but I wasn’t sure exactly where I had went . I was understandably not really paying attention to where I was so I called… New shift…the guy was a complete jerk! I asked him if this was where I’d been an hour or so earlier .AND HE SAID HE DID NOT HAVE A WAY TO SEE IF I HAD BEEn THER3!!!!! What? I was just there??? I signed in on an electronic kiosk??? I got upset about that….keep in mind I’m in the middle of a crisis…. The guy hung up on me when I told him I really could not believe that this totally automated admit system couldn’t look back 2 hours??? So now instead of getting proper care I’m feeling worse and I’m about to go to the bar instead!!! Thanks second shift…you wouldn’t lift a finger in my crisesCharles S⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGood people. In and out. Also not scared to xray you to make sure things are good.Travis James⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI recently blew the tips of my finger open from a lawn mower, not one of the smartest things I have done. But going into North Suburban that night definitely was. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist was awesome and quick. I can’t say enough about the nurses, doctors, and every single person in that building. Extremely friendly, fast, efficient, professional, and everything else. I was numbed up, stitched up and on my way in no time. I need to go back in and say thank you to everybody, I am still in shock on the treatment I received. Please keep up the good work!!!!!! I am grateful for everyone there.Jawed Shah⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe guy name Brett he is a saint. Everyone is super nice here. God bless you guys. And thank you Brett you are an amazing person that i have ever seen in my life. I drive for uber and I can give you free uber rides anytime anywhere whenever you want manColorado Rebecca⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey helped me twice when I was very sick. Last time I had been vomiting for 2 days straight and was in major stomach distress. Both times they’ve been great. Clean, modern, great facility too.Kimberly Mason⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad to take my 2 year old in for an open head wound and Greg the peramedic turned a scary situation for a little boy into one that wasn’t too bad. So thankful Greg was on shift during our time of need!!Angela Jeffers The staff in this location simply doesn’t seem to care. You’re better off going to a big place such as Kaiser instead.Mariah Miller⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had to come here twice in the same week. Each time was a great experience. The whole staff (from the greeter when you first arrive to the doctor) was very kind and gentle. It was also not very busy there which made our time there minimal unlike other ERs. Thank you!Brandon Lucas⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff was very friendly, thorough, and compassionate. We were seen very quickly and had a fast and free transfer to the hospital. I would definitely feel comfortable returning in case of another emergencyEugene Vrbas⭐️⭐️WORST HOSPITAL EVER! THEY GAVE ME PRESCRIPTIONS THAT ONY MADE ME SICK AND DID NOTHING FOR THE INFECTION! THEN THEY WANT ME TO COME BACK AND CHARGE ME FOR ANOTHER VISIT TO ONLY GET A PRESCRIPTION! THIS IS AMERICAS HEALTHCARE AT ITS FINEST 1000k for this visit. You’re better off dyingDavid M.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️After our 5 year old took some dog medication in the evening, we spent 6 hours in monitoring here. The doctors knew what they were doing, but it was hard on him and they weren’t really kid people. Regardless, he’s fine and they did a great job making sure of that.Heather Leck⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDr. Basset, RN Todd and RN Alan were absolutely amazing. They really embody compassionate care and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable in the middle of excruciating pain. The facility is really well maintained and the staff is completely on their A game.Brandi Hendershot⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI just have to say the staff at this facility is extremely kind and caring. The older male doctor who saw me has a true passion and kind spirit to help others. He even wiped one of my tears. I 110% recommend this location for your ER care.Andy Domonkos (Edit: Most of the other reviews on here seem bogus and paid for.) I went here for pain. I was there for a total of 15 minutes and they wrote me a prescription. I figured worst case I would have to pay somewhere around 300-400$, but guessed it shouldn’t be more than 200$ considering I have decent insurance. I was told my insurance would cover the visit, and then these vampires hit me with a 1000$ bill a week later. A THOUSAND DOLLARS. Just to have a five minute conversation and a piece of paper with some scribble on it. I can only imagine what number they come up with for say a broken bone. Probably ten grand. Maybe more depending on where the dart lands that decides pricing here. I repeat. They told me when I was in there that my insurance was fine and would cover this. Not once was I told that I was being charged 100 dollars a minute. Oh and if you are looking to talk about your bill with these people, GOOD luck. Nobody in the building has any information on billing, or for that matter ANYTHING. A guard is posted at the door to tell you to kick rocks unless you are there to spend some more money The only way to even “discuss” your bill You have to call a certifiably useless hotline where you will get a “human being,” (I use this term very loosely) who will tell you in dead-soul monotone that there is nothing that can be done about anything, unless its in regards to you giving them you credit card number. It becomes very apparent that their only goal is to frustrate you enough that you finally let a curse-word slip which frees them of the burden of talking to you. This is a great place for the rich people in the giant houses on the hill, but if you are not part of that clique, I recommend toughening it out until you can see a doctor. This place is HIGHWAY ROBBERYNonNamed User There are many problems with the healthcare industry, but in my experience the end of logical and rational separation of criminal vs justifiable businesses is an enterprise like this. Do police charge you more for an emergency, how about fireman, etc? The argument for higher costs at an ER do not make sense beyond a board room. Now this place. A one hour stay was billed 6k+ with no procedures done, no lab work, etc. Perhaps if an arm had been reattached, or really anything to justify such massive bill, I could have let this lie. Sure, my insurance covered it, but it seems so clear that billing thousands more than what they’ll actually receive must lie firmly at the root of the healthcare industries belief that they deserve the public’s money for doing diddly squat. Don’t go here. Don’t use any private ERs. If you don’t have insurance, this place will bankrupt you.Chelsea McDuffie⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI end up in ERs a lot, one usually being St. Anthony’s, until recently, because they became pretty hateful to me for going in so often, saying that was only what drug addicts did. I was rushed in April 7th after a few day’s of feeling completely awful, it was empty clean and quiet. I was asked to use an electronic device to check in, but was only able to choose one of many problems wrong with me at the time. Didn’t feel that was a huge problem because I would be seen and could tell them then. As soon as I checked in, a paramedic named Aaron was quick to come and get me. He was great, funny, and tried to make the best of me being there. Ashley, with Triage, was also called in and hooked me up to an EKG because my heart rate was through the roof. She was also funny, caring, and informative about the steps of what she was doing. I was quickly seen by Dr. Hill, who despite a ton of questions, actually seemed like he was trying to get down what was wrong. A lady with registration was sweet and kind with us as well, there was an insurance mix up where we were charged when we shouldn’t have been, but I’m sure we’ll figure that out another day. I was diagnosed with a Kidney Infection (which unfortunately I’m prone to), and told I was low on potassium. They took the proper procedures from there on to make sure that I was as comfortable as they could make me, and given the right antibiotics and what have you. They also made sure my fiancee and child were comfortable ad well, offering them healthy snacks and thing’s to drink, which has never happened in any hospital for us! I hope they see this, Dr. Hill and his staff were absolutely awesome and very helpful as well as kind to us. This ER is close to home, I will keep them in mind for future visits. (Hopefully there will be none any time soon).Stephanie Trujillo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey were amazing! The security guard, paramedic, Doc, RN’s all exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in the door. My son couldnt have been blessed with a better team to take care of him. Thank you all!!Gabriel-Cat DiFelice⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedJust left here tonight and they were very friendly, fast, efficient and helpful. I was cared for immediately and didn’t wait for anything, I’m very grateful for this place.Personal Email Pitiful how they can justify how much they charge.Kathleen Mercure⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAttentive staff and no wait time. Well equipped facility with X ray, etc available.Bree Sierra Not the best care. Very disappointed No communication-dr tells me one thing The nurse says something completely different They honestly seemed annoyed to have to work for a change and actually care for a patient.Eric Siebert⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI usually only write reviews to complain about bad experiences but felt compelled to write a review about this ER due to the fantastic experience I had here twice. The place is clean and very modern, staff very friendly and helpful, very experiencd and knowledgable doctors and great with kids. Also the wait time is very short, both times my kids were seen immediately. I’ve always dreaded and hated going to traditional ERs as they are crowded and everything takes forever, this ER was a very pleasant surprise and I highly recommend it.Amanda Carcellero Security stole my pants. Thanks way to protect and steal.Richard Trapp⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSpeedy service. No waiting.Lesia Turningrobe⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone here is very nice, the wait is not long at all!! Extremely convenient!!Dave Plath I was seen on a Sunday, a few days after hearing my cousin had died of a heart attack while training. Same age, same life style. I was jumpy when I called N Sububan Med to ask a few questions. They convinced me to come in even though I told them I planned to see my family doctor the next morning. I drove over expecting to talk to a doctor about heart attack symptoms. Instead I got the full monty of medical treatment. I did’t want an EKG. I didn’t want my blood drawn. I just wanted a few minutes with a doctor. After 10 minutes of tests, I was told I wasn’t having a heart attack. After 50 minutes of waiting, I was told my bloodwork was normal. I got everything I didn’t ask for, but not what I came for. I was charged almost $7000.00 for trying to talk to a doctor. Almost certain this was a mistake, I called the facility to get a cost breakdown. When I was promised it would be mailed immediately, it didn’t come. I asked for one a second time. Nothing. When I disputed the bill I was warned it would go to collections. When I settled with collections for what I was told was the entire charge for my visit, i learned today that it wasn’t. I was just contacted by the doctors bill collector. It doesn’t matter how good this medical facility is if they have a such a serious weak link. Businesses do not work if they are good at “some things. ” There were no other patients when I got there. And none when I left. On a Sunday? This facility is not needed at this location. I run a business. If I don’t have a good customer base, I choose to change it up or leave an area that doesn’t need our services. Deception and overchanging are not business solutions that most. I have no proof that this is the case, but I also never received a cost breakdown. It’s the little things that N Suburban Med fails at miserably.Rachel Jay⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis place was amazing. I had been to saint anthoneys north a few days ago because i was having kidney stone pain and the refused to do a CT scan or even acknowledge i was in pain.(Ive had kidney stones before, so i know what they feel like. Im also an 18 year old female, so they told me i was too young to have kidney stones?) So i thought i was crazy and just went home and beared through it. After visiting an urgent care near me yesterday, they told me i had blood in my urine so i was positive and the urgent care told me it would be a good idea to go to the ER to see. I chose this ER since its NOT saint anthoneys, and its right down the street from my work. The doctor, was REALLY REALLY NICE. They gave me morphine BEFORE even doing the test to make sure i was comfortable. They also gave me fluids and told me i couldnt eat my egg mcmuffin 🙁 Anyways, i had more blood in my pee and they did a CT scan and sure enough, i have a kidney stone. They sent me home with pain meds and some meds to help my stone pass, as well as a referral to a urologist. Everyone there was extremely nice to me, listened to me and didnt treat me like a crazy drugged out 18 year old chick looking to get some pain meds- Which is exactly what saint anthoneys made me feel like. I would recommend. This will be my ER of choice from now on.Paul Davis Stay as far away from this place as you possibly can. If they don’t kill thou right away they will suck your bank account dry.Aurora Clark⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Fast and efficient.Alicia Veillon⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedProfessional and kind service
