Before you go to NorthBay Medical Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Fairfield emergency room think.
Nancy StoutMost condescending Dr. Merriam and RN gal named Chris. I really know what is wrong with my son, but they made this a joke. UnprofessionalMister BenjaminWorst ER ever. With only 6 ER patients through the night, they only had staffing to see 4 of us by sunrise. 2 of us gave up and went home. I’ve been here 6 hours now, and am still sitting here in the waiting room. They come out every two hours to take updated vitals and apologize. Unfortunately, this is not my first bad experience here. The lack of compassion and missing sense of urgency is astounding. I doubt they are equipped to deal with true emergencies here, and I’m glad that my ailment is not more serious. Really sad that in the worlds greatest country, you can’t even see a doctor in under 6 hours. Time to switch to Kaiser.L. Yakano⭐️⭐️⭐️If you think this ER is bad compared to SUTTER VALLEJO North Bay is a palace. SUTTER VALLEJO IS ONE OF THE WORST ER’S I’ve ever been too. I wouldn’t bring my animals here. Horrible service all the way from front desk to the ER staff and DOCTOR who decided it would be more interesting and fun for him to joke around with a colleague and leave me waiting for hours sitting on the bed then to write me out my discharge papers. I asked why would I need them since you didn’t do anything for me after being there for almost 6 hours I’ve left and will never return! One thing about North Bay I don’t understand is when I was given my paper prescription there was a special code needed that they didn’t put on the hardcopy and I took it to cvs and cvs was unable to fill my prescription due to whatever was going on at Northbay I don’t know how one forgets the special code needed for medication. Truly unacceptable !Kaitlyn ScottI waited in the ER for over an hour before choosing to leave on my own. The staff was completely rude. I had to notify the staff more than once about my condition (being a pregnant and a type one diabetic which also makes me high risk) and after going back and asking the staff what was taking so long to be seen, she notified me that the people in the ER are seen by priority and me being pregnant and in pain clearly was not one of their top concerns. If you need to go to an ER within the area I would recommend going to Northbay in Vacaville instead, they listen to their patients and treat them with respect, which I can’t say the same about Northbay in Fairfield.Lenne HowardWas parked in hall. NEVER seen by doctor, only PA and below. With 2 broken feet. Yes both feet broken. Should not have been allowed home. Received call from Northbay who apologized for All The Glitches. Ha!!!!!! Searching for another hospital. Northbay has prime location without the service.Michael KrauseCame here Saturday night at 9pm for wife’s severe abdominal cramping. All signs point to Appendix. Waited in ER que for 2 hours with spotty check ins. Urine, blood-work. Finally brought back to ER @11:30 pm. Under construction, short staffed, and overly busy. Took an hour for CT scan, results one for ~Inconclusive. Waited 2 more hours for ultrasound procedure. 2 hours later, results inconclusive. 7:00 am, been in ER all night and last 4 hours waiting for admission to room availability. Promised updates and most came very late and others not at all. Chaos plus poor communication. Not happy at all about this level of care.Keto Kimi⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Oct 2017 My husband had a cardiac arrest and by ambulance brought to Northbay Medcal. With the actions of first responders the ED, ICU and step down ward his life was saved. We are so lucky to have a top rate cardiac trauma center in Fairfield.james sanchezI went to the er here and thought everything was so far so good staff seemed knowledgeable. But when they called me to the back they told me to sit in the hallway on a bed. An than i see the 2 i repeat 2 person that came after me walked into a room while im sitting in the hall for 45 mins only 2 of the staff checked an kept telling me the dr will be right with you. An being that i was there first i should have been seen first but no that was not the case. The 2 people that came in 15 mins after i had been sitting in hallway get seen before me. Everyone kept staring at me while i was sitting there. I got uncomfortable an left i dont care how much pain im in. Not going back there and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.Joe LuskI would avoid this place at all costs. The pricing for this place is out the roof. If you want to be in debt for the rest of your life, then this is the place for you.Denise Laughridge⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Doctor was fast an friendlyCora Ellis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCool
