Northside Hospital Forsyth Reviews

Before you go to Northside Hospital Forsyth, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Cumming emergency room think.

Theresa DeOcampo My daughter has been d/c more than an hour ago and we been asking for nurse help for 1.5 hours to assist us and nobody has come even when we called for help for 6 times. I told them we have not eaten breakfast as well as my daughter and it is already passed 3pm so we need to be discharged soon and still no one has come for help to remove IV from my daughter. The staff in this hospital’s ER where 911 Ambulance sent my daughter doesn’t care about the patients!Rhithm Pandit⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAmazing experience with the ER staff. Everyone was super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We came in for a medical emergency and got a room immediately. It was an extremely stressful situation but the people here made me and my family feel much better.Vicki Sansom I would give them a minus. The front ER staff was the rudest today. We have been here twice before for the same problem.. Atilla the Hun comes back when we finally get in a room and is all ugly asking questions like this is the best we could think of to do today.Donnievaldarko I wouldn’t even give them a star. Horrible experience here. They didn’t even clean up my bloody leg they just cleaned the major cuts and wrapped it up with all the dry blood running down my leg. And the nerdy looking man who dressed my wound did a terrible job. I had multiple wounds and need nonstick gauze on them and he only put them on on of them so when i went to clean my wound later that day the wrap was stuck to my puncture wounds. They didn’t even send me home with anything to clean it up with that evening. The antibiotics they prescribed were horrible and i had adverse reaction after already telling them i have a sensitive stomach. And don’t bother calling the front desk. The woman was such a bit**. After telling her i need to speak with the doctor that treated me telling her i have had adverse reactions with the medications she said there is nothing they can do and that i need to contact my primary care doctor. That is unacceptable. The doctor that treated me or another one should be able to prescribe me something else if i am have a bad reaction to the meds. It already cost so much to go there. You would expect them to give top service. I would have been better off going to urgent care. These people don’t care about you. They just want money.Heba Elt I took my daughter to NH ER and i was there for 7hrs, they did not help at all she left with the same pain. I left NH ER at 4am and I had to take here to Children Health Care of Atlanta to know what was wrong. Very disappointed with NH.Ricardo Murgel Arrived at 7:46 pm,Friday ,05/24/19. Left at 3:50 am on Saturday,05/25/19. Those ” few” hours were to my wife be attended with nauseam and vomits, with abdominal pain. To be called to.the room tooks 5 hours .There,my wife at last got IV and some medication. Almost 2 hours later, she was examined with a CT of Abdomen and Pelvis, that found a Enteritis, likely infectious or inflammatory in etiology. Off record,I asked a few nurses how such chaos in terms of assistance could happen in an EMERGENCY room?? Their ” explanation” was the same…” Friday night,Holiday weekend… So,their management don’t know that every week has a Friday? And that occasionally also a Holiday on next Monday? Forsyth county is a large, populous county, that charges taxes, etc, for everything. How it is acceptable to have just one Emergency Room of moderate size and staff,to serve most of the Forsyth Taxpayers?? Now,for sure their Bill won’t consider that outrageous lack of efficiency, to.say the very least. The Forsyth Community must protest, must expose in public the chaos that seems common every Friday at North Side Chaotic Emergency Room . Last but surely not least. Most, not all,the nurses and doctors were polite and seems that are doing their best under those chaotic lack of proper management. It must be solved ,sooner!Preston F Worst at what they do! Never have any answers , just a bunch or residents/interns that have no clue what they are doing! Wife went there per her doctors request after having hysterectomy and they said they needed to do a pregnancy test, total morons! Dont expect anything other then a bill from this place.Jack S. SHOULD HAVE GONE TO A DOC-IN-THE-BOX. Went here for a slice across the tip of my index finger. Went here because of all the nerves involved at the end of an index finger and because I figured I needed a tetanus shot. Was not prime time of day. Waited for over 2 hours just to get into a triage room, then waited another 30-minutes. Doctor came in and looked at it, told me they could numb it at base or inject directly into wound for quicker results…I told them to inject directly as I’d been there for almost 3 hours already. He left and came back 15-minutes or so later. Poured some cleaner over it again, injected it, gave it three stiches and a wrap of gauze. Just got the bill. Total of almost $3K combined between Northside and the doctor group…apparently they’re separate. Granted that’s the total amount billed and my insurance covered most of it, but that’s not the point. Three grand…that’s $1,000 an hour to wait, or $1,000 per stitch. I’m now fully stocked with rubbing alcohol and 30 cent butterfly Band-Aids in case something like this ever happens again. Our healthcare system is a huge scam!Benny Andrews What a scam! I brought my son in for a hand X-ray after a car door had been slammed on him and the X-Ray was $1,700! Now I’m told I will get more bills from radiology and the physician who treated him. Not to mention we were there for hours for the simple hand X-Ray. Never go to this place unless it is a life threatening emergency.Madison Hoffmann My pic line got wet and dirty and was instructed to go to the ER right away. Sat there for three hours in the waiting room then got into a room to not speak to anyone for another hour. Entire staff just sat around on their phones caring more about their personal life than their actual patients. When we did ask how much longer for a nurse to change the dressing, the nurses were extremely rude. Don’t bother going here if you expect care and respect.Alejandro A⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWell..that was fast. We actually didn’t have a wait, and the ER staff were very pleasant. They made sure my spouse was also comfortable and brought her blankets to keep her warm. After 12 stitches, Dr. Patel was not only efficient, but had great table-side manners.Chelsea Johnson I took my husband to this awful place. My husband was in tears within 10 minutes with the nurse Sherry. She was rude, hateful, and so unprofessional. I will contact corporate. I have never been treated so badly. I understand that they have people coming in trying to cheat their system but my husband passed their drug screen and has a fantastic insurance policy. He has a blood clotting disorder (factor 5) and his left arm was numb and the left back of his head was tingling. They did absolutely no bloodwork, just a urine sample. They can’t check his white/red bloodcells through urine. We drove a hr to the hospital because that was the hospital that found out he had factor 5. They just told him what they thought “might” be the problem and pushed us out the door. I am absolutely at a loss.Elena Montolio⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThank you, ER staff for being so attentive, fast and pleasant. My son is feeling better due to your fast response. Great first experience.James Anon The incompetence here is insane. They somehow had me marked as a high-alert suicidal emergency. Not a single person listened to what I had to say. They wanted to strip me down and take urine and blood samples. I refused and thought it was disgusting that the doctor wanted to treat me like some specimen when he had no idea what is going on. I half-expected to be forcibly drugged. I really wanted to just leave, but at this point, I was envisioning being shot and killed if I tried to walk out the doors. This isn’t me being melodramatic, that was an actual thought that went through my head while I was there. They had a nurse put a chair directly in front of my room and she sat down with a pad and pen just staring at me the entire time. Not a single person that came to speak to me had the decency to close the door behind them. They just let everyone in the hospital hear me sobbing. What is probably the best part of it all, is the psychiatrist that I finally got to see after hours of waiting. Of all the people in world, they sent some psychiatrist with the personality of a paper towel to the “high-alert suicidal patient”. I seriously have been traumatized by this experience. The most incompetent, oblivious, impassive group of people that i’ve ever personally witnessed.Shannon Thai The wait is about 4 hours to have stitches in my daughters face. They need a place for patients who are quick in and outs. Not rooms for individual patients but a room with lots of beds and curtains to treat more patients faster.Bradley Wyle⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have been to lots of ERS and to this one many times and by far this is the nicest and quickest experiences I’ve had.April Zipp⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis hospital was awesome the nurses and doctors were amazing they saved my life thank you for all you have done for me best hospital I’ve ever been toAnthony Rich The ER at Northside Forsyth is absolutely the worst. My wife was sent straight to the ER by her primary due to severe asthma. Gets to ER, and they said she was hyperventilating. Gave her 2 breathing treatments and discharged her with no improvement at all. Not to mention she spent 2 weeks in hospital on breathing machines 6 months ago due to same diagnosis. When she mentioned to nursing staff that they would see her again soon because she wasn’t improving, the just told her ok. Unfortuantely it won’t let me leave a negative ratingNan Petty THEY ALMOST REFUSED TO DO AN EKG WHILE I WAS HAVING CHEST PAINS AND THEY REFUSED TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND WHEN THEY DID TALK TO ME THEY HAD THEIR BACKS TO ME AFTER I REPEATEDLY TOLD THEM I WAS EXTREMELY HEARING IMPAIRED.MY DOG GETS BETTER TREATMENT AT HIS VET THAN PEOPLE GET AT NORTH SIDE!William Mccauley The worst came in with back pain. Took pictures then left me in the waiting room. They suckAna Golshani⭐️⭐️Nurses are very attentive but the doctors are rude, and treat patients like they are ignorant . Went there last night with my daughter and will NEVER set foot there again .
