Hailee PernalI expected the WORST with Norwood Hospital I was taken by ambulance due to heat exhaustion and dehydration. My boyfriend kept asking for pain medication for me due to my migraine and they completely ignored it. They never once gave me IV Fluid’s when I was dehydrated the staff was rude and didn’t care. I was discharged at 7am the next day with nothing done to me I would NOT RECOMMEND this hospital to anyone for everyone else’s sake. Please don’t take your loved one’s or yourself here because you will NOT get the care that they need. It’s a dirty and filthy place it’s not clean and its very unsanitary.Karissa ShirleyWorst ER visit I’ve ever had. Please don’t come here for your own sake!!! It didn’t even feel like I was at a hospital. I’d rather not go to the ER if I had to come here again. Sad that I’m not the only one who got poor care here. They should fix that. I hope this place gets shut down or have a whole new staff. Honestly not surprised of how horrible the doctors and nurses are.antonella mccarthyDon’t even know where to begin with this review !Lets start off by saying Go Somewhere else! That should sum things up !!shouldnt even give it one stardja norNot Very Patient FriendlySharbel Deewent to norwood hospital emergency room i wait 3 hours ! get in but not in room i stay in hallway doctor came after un a hour check on me with her phone using the phone’s light ! she didn’t use any hospital equipment, send me to MRI a person came with no uniform !,after he left me on side another person came to pick me up before MRI is done saying sorry for that mistake MRI person she was so rude Too !! i filet i’m trash there in that hospital.Wayne CiccoAs a Patient. Literally almost died being serviced at Norwood. As a member of the local medical community there scheduling Dept. are horrendous. Normal Process and Protocol for when a rendering/performing facility of a test or a procedure they are responsible to get what you call a Prior Authorization. This is a approval for the patient to receive services authorized by there insurance co… Norwood Hospital forces the ordering office to get the prior auth. I am in this business and our facility will not let the ordering doctors to get the PA. We will get the PA. I get all PA’s for outside offices. Norwood staff just doesn’t want to work. Cant stand them there are a disgrace in the local community.CAT COLSONmy dad was brought to emergency room by ambulance. doctor spoke to him for about five minutes, nurse never came by, he was in the hallway for hours, no one gave us any information – I had to go ask several times what was happening. He was finally admitted after 6 hours. Seems like they either don’t have enough staff, or staff is not interested in helping patients. Awful experience.J JayIf I could give less than one star I would. This hospital is the worst, nightmare of a hospital you could imagine, at least that was my experience. The ER Dr was anything but thorough, in fact, our interaction went way too fast. They did not bother to make sure I was given my regularly prescribed medications, which could have killed me. The condition of the rooms were terrible, they were filthy. My stay was going so badly I had to ask for a new Dr repeatedly, complain to the patient advocate, and complain to the president of the hospital. However, that did not change much of anything. Their standard for medical care is abysmal and not inline with normal medical standards. I will never go back here for medical care and I recommend you don’t either. I actually had a nurse lie about me I will never know why. Their pattern of malpractice is undeniable and they should be investigated. I believe they actually may have caused a death while I was there. BEWARE!Sherley Diop⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey helpful caring sharing make u feel comfortable compassionErica M.⭐️⭐️Very cold and inattentive staff. Was turned away last night – refusal to provide careSarah MontaniI am my 81year old mother’s health care proxy and the staff at Norwood hospital refused to share any information with me. Beyond frustrating. Will not let her (or anyone I care about) be treated here againGerald Kelly⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Good ER. Not a huge wait the times I’ve been here.Jolly BhatiaER service is really bad. There is only one doctor to cover ER at night. The nurses just keep apologizing for the doctor not being available and long wait times. We’ve been waiting for more than 2 hours for the doctor to come and discus Test results with us.Matthew McGillivrayThis hospital is an abomination to medical practice. They will write you a prescription for anything with seemingly no discretion as long as it seems like it will get you processed and out of the hospital. I’ve been here twice and both times they had me wait for 2 hours so that I could see a nurse for less than five minutes and both times I was prescribed opioids for back pain that they couldn’t diagnose.
