Shawn Mattis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAfter reading the reviews i was skeptical on what my experience would be. I’ve never been so pleased with a emergency room in my life. They were not only fast, friendly and efficient but very compassionate. I was seen within 20 min of my arrival.Megan MetzgerWe have visited this ER multiple times and have had decent experiences but tonight we brought our 4 year old at the suggestion of the pediatrician after she was but in the face by a dog! We waited over 2 hours with no care. They had multiple people come in and continued to pass over the 4 year old child who was exhausted and overwhelmed. When we asked about our wait time they continued to put us off. Waste of time and money. Very disappointed.Wendy LuffmanThis place is horrible. A sloth could have moved more quicker then the staff in the ER. If at all possible go down the road to Greensboro or Winston.Brenda CreechThis is the worst ED department I have ever been to. The patients are herded like a bunch of cattle! I was put on a gurney with both side rails up, a broken call bell and my phone across the room. I was told to get dressed for discharge. I had to hold onto the side rails and pull myself down to the end of the bed to get dressed. When I told the nurse aboit it she said “ok.”REDSHIFT_SYX⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFirst of all, the other reviewers are way off! The doctors, nurses, and even the register lady were incredible. I came in requiring emergency surgery. Nurse Lara-Amazing, Nurse-Molly-Amazing, Matt-Amazing-CT tech-Amazing, Dr. Ricky-Amazing, Dr.Snow-Amazing. Literally every person I came into contact with was incredible and treated me and my visitors with respect and care. I’ve been to a lot of hospitals and this one is by far the best. I am missing some names, but you were all amazing. I will never forget y’all, thank you for helping me.Karen PurcellI went to Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center in August 2018 and it was a waste of my time and no medical treatment was received. Days prior to this visit I went to Urgent Care and was prescribed a medication for asthma. The medication did not work so I decided to go to an Emergency Room for further treatment. After explaining my condition, previous Urgent Care visit (records were visible by this facility) and informing the staff that my Father passed in May 2018 and asthma was listed as a complication on his death certificate , I was told by Eric – PA that there was nothing he could do for me. He told me that I need to go back to my Lung & Sleep Specialist for assistance. I told him that this was not acceptable treatment because I was having trouble breathing and he was sending me home to die like my father. He said the emergency room is not equipped to treat me. I then asked to speak with someone who could help me. A female entered the room. She listened then she went to speak with the person over the PA. She returned with no good news. I told her that in no way should I be charged $80 for the PA to tell me no one there could assist me. I left very upset. I did contact my Doctor and after waiting for an opening I went and the solution was to prescribe a stronger inhaler. Why couldn’t the PA do the same? Does he need to return school to learn the basics: bedside manners and how to treat breathing problems that don’t show up on a chest X-Ray? Highly disappointed and I wouldn’t trust this facility with my health issues again. And they did charge me for this visit per the risk management member assigned to review my records.Melanie Schlaginhaufen⭐️⭐️⭐️Staff was very nice. But I was there for chest pain. They had two EKG machines and couldn’t get either to work. Blamed it on me, said some people don’t conduct electricity well! Was 5-10 minutes before BP was ever taken and it was quite high and I don’t have high BP. After couple of hours tried to give me a pain med in my IV that was on my allergy list! I declined. Only took BP twice although there several hours (took it before I left, still high but had gone down10 points). But I was seen quickly and staff was nice. Just don’t go there for chest pain is my advice! I would go there for something like needing atitches if Irgent care not open, simply because staff was pleasant. I just don’t trust quality of care when they try for 20 plus minutes to get EKC and give up. Never had any similar problems anywhere else.Xray Tech very nice, had chest X-ray to rule out blood clots, but it was couple of hours later (and they were not busy). So if minutes count still may be best to spend ten more minutes to get to Moses Cone.Christa Gibbs⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommendedthe staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and I was in and out in under 30 minutes.Greg SmithVery very poor service. Make the extra 20 minute drive to Greensboro or Winston if you can. Went in for stitches on my knee and it took me 5 1/2 hrs to get out of there. I was left wound open and bleeding in the room for over 2 hours with no one to check on me or to tell me what was going on. Then the guy with the payment cart came and then an hour later I go stiched up. While I was getting stitched up a nurse or a student was in there helping and she got sick from watching and had to leave the room. Very reassuring. I went in and saw someone a couple of days later and was told that I probably should have got a couple more stiches and the wound was not closed very well in one spot. All said and done 13 stitches after my state insurance plan kicked in is running me $1800.Ms. EvansI called on January 13, at 0143 am to ask the front desk personnel a question as to if my son could be seen with the insurance we have. And lo and behold, the gentlemen hung up while I was talking. So I called back, and he didn’t pick up.
