steelydannnn⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have been there many times when my parents and it has always been very easy and very well taken care of. I would rated 5 out of 5.Anthony CThis was the worst ER ever! I have had to wait seven hours at other ER’s but at least I got decent care from them. I went in because I crashed my bike and told them I was concerned about an injury in my knee I’ve had before and they completely ignored it. I didn’t even get to talk to a doctor about what was wrong! The only thing they did was some lady had me open and close my hand. Then I mentioned that my IT band is injured and she said that she has the same issue and I’ll have to deal with it. The only thing that happened was they took and x-ray of my hand and knee because I fell on them. Which I never got to see. Then some lady told me I had no broken bones. That’s not even what I went in there for! I was worried I hurt my knee and wrist, not broke a bone. Then they said I was good to go. I had to sit in a chair for an hour and a half! There were just ten chairs in a line against the wall. I also heard and watched everything that other patients were going through. I watched as they threw away blood in a regular trashcan because they didn’t know what it was for. I had no privacy and no nurses would talk to me. What a horrible experience. My hand is swollen but they said it is fine?! Here’s a picture to show you. I’ll probably end up getting a huge bill in the mail. They wouldn’t even tell me if my insurance covered it or not. They also asked me for my social security number multiple times and didn’t have an explanation for it either. Update: The day after my visit I’m in worse pain than before I went in. They obviously didn’t help and I’m very disappointed. I typically don’t write reviews but this experience was terrible.Kristy FUTRAL⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAmazing staff. Fast and very caring. Even called to check on me the next day. Thanks for your services.Lisette RodriguezThe WORST HOSPITAL!!! I brought my 10 year old daughter because of weakness and dizziness. The doctor orders some blood work, not even a complete one just a flu and a strep test. They wanted to let us go saying that everything was good. The doctor wanted to put like she was faking because she didn’t want to stay at school. Like really!?!? She almost fainted in front of her teacher, come on!!!!! After I got angry then they proceed to do a complete blood work to see what had happened! I’m not the doctor but people don’t faint for no apparent reason! Doctors here don’t care!!! And they should be better with children!Captain SpauldingThese people have NO idea what they are doing. One nurse has no clue what any of the other nurses are doing. They will inject you with something then 30min later another will ask you if you know what the last nurse injected you with like you’re supposed to keep track of that because it’s not on your chart. Or send someone home only to readmit them 5 hrs later with kidney failure. They don’t check that stuff before you leave? DON’T BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. PleaseSean Bummara⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went in with kidney stones and my RNS were awesome. Don and Chantel made me feel better they are the best. Thanks!Grandyn AmmonI sat here in the waiting room for over 3 hours now and listened to this check-in guy have attitude with over a dozen different people. Wow, and he does it with a smile on his face. Also, the nurses are kinda mean. I asked about seeing my mom and not only won’t they let me see her, they won’t update me on her condition.Joyce DavisI had a biking accident and was took to oak hill hospital. I was always under the impression that the er and really good but was I wrong. Staff was not rude but very cold, I am in so much pain they stiched up my leg and never cleaned the blood of my legs and arms. Never once did any thing about all the road rash. I ask to a drink and was not able to even get acknowledge l ask for one. No pain medication and iIam in dire pain. Very disappointing trip to oak hill. The standard I received was never what i excepted.one one in that place cared at allKerrigan RichmondThe only reason I am even giving this hospital a one star is because the nurse named Adena was Theo my oke who truly took care of me. From the time I entered this hospital I was ignored. Signed in and was seen by a nurse who was outright rude and kept cutting me off. She was the most unprofessional woman I have ever come across. She did not listen to my concerns of neck pain and back pain after being in a car accident a few days earlier. I will NEVER go to this hospital again for an emergency. I would advise everyone to stay away from this hospital. The most careless place I’ve ever been to.Glenn Cooper⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFriendly knowledgeable staff. Remodeling the ER waiting areaalala k⭐️⭐️I’d have given one star but they were pretty quick about actually getting me signed in and the nurses were really really nice. But that being said there were dirty catheters and other trash and things all over the floor. There was no communication between anybody. The doctor saw me for 2 seconds and he didn’t even examinemy injury except a glance halfway across the room. He kind of just said oh you need this and walked out and told me one thing. Another nurse came in said oh no the doctor was wrong and did something else entirely without double-checking with the doctor. Then another group of nurses tried to come in and do the procedure all over again not knowing it was done. They tried to discharge me without bandaging or sealing the wound. The Privacy was non-existent. They would tell other patients and myself important information while sitting in a secondary waiting area where we also met the doctor with other patients in the room. In order to actually do the procedure on my foot they just pulled a rollaway chair up and set a rag on it and did it on on there.Peet GarbackiHaving worked in an Emergency Room, I saw how poorly this ER is run. Poor communication, limited attention from the nurses and techs. Some of the staff were great- but too many were inattentive and confused. Not a healthy mix for an ER. Unfortunately, Hernando County has very poor hospitals all around. If that is what people will accept that is what they will have to live with (unless the inattentive/confused nature of the staff ends up fatal). Not a good place to be in a life & death situation.Craig Williams⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAmong the most efficient hospitals I have ever seen. Nurse met us at ER door with wheel chair. Driver’s license scan check in. Self keyed in SSN for confidentiality. Less than 5 minutes and we were being seen by doctor and 3 assistants. Dr. Rashad was very personable and understanding. Nurse Kenny and PA/nurse practitioner FoFama. Blood drawn fast. Diagnosis was fast. Less than 10 minutes after being brought to exam room, whisked away for CT Scan. It was after that when an admin came in for insurance info. I thought that was strange, but happy that they take care of people first. Anour or so after, Dr Rashad is back with diagnosis and treatment plan. Situation was thankfully not as serious as we thought. Mentioned to one assistant that they were extremely efficient and he confessed that it was not very busy at the moment and our timing was good. I’d hate to see what it looks like when it’s busy because there are a lot of people in here right now. Excellent ER. Outstanding people.Manuel Pijuan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe best attention …professional and friendly staff from transporter doctors nurse admision social workers food quality .congratulation.Mike Emerson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Decent HospitalSienna AmmonIt’s closing in on 4 hours of being here. No updates. No communication whatsoever. Shouldn’t the people in the waiting room be treated with as much respect as patients, or are they?Cody Roach⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️E.R. was fast and staff nice
