WENDY HACKETT⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFrom the moment I stepped into the ER area until I left a few hours later treatment and staff were nothing less than STELLAR!!! Was seen almost immediately and hardly had any wait for recommended treatments. Was attended to by Dr. Sanon. He was warm, informative and checked back with me throughout. Had a completely differential experience last year at another hospital 50 minutes southeast of here. What a relief it is to have faith in the hospital when you are upset and not feeling well. Can’t say enough about this hospital and staff.Savannah Futch⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad to make a visit with my young daughter. I was very emotional and the staff/nurses/doctors were all very understanding and helpful. I really appreciate everyone taking time to explain things to me and point us in the right direction, even after our visit to the ER. Thanks for all your help!LM PSMy son was brought by ambulance about 3:00 pm. . as most emergency rooms, things were slow, but he was being taken care of, but the people were nice. Then about 7:45 pm my son said he was hungry. The trauma team had been down to tell my son how many broke ribs and then they are going to be back once they decide if they were going to keep him. Anyway, I went to find our nurse to ask if my son could eat and learned that our nurse left and she did not brief anyone else on her patients. So when shift changes, they just leave without briefing one another. Christina came in the room rude full of disrespect. Do not recommend this place to anyone. I will say she eventually brought my son a sandwich and fruit.Kim BurtMy husband was transferred at 9 from the ER on Maricamp. The ER on Maricamp staff are fantastic. We have sat at the ER at Ocala Regional and he is in agony. They haven’t relieved his pain at all. Do Not Go to Ocala Regional ER! They provided no pain relief and they would not release us. Worst experience at an ER. Unable to get to speak with the Dr. Treated for wrong problem and unable to speak to anyone but the nurse.Drew KlescewskiThe worst experience at medical facility ever. I would not recommend anyone go here under any circumstances. The lack of communication from schedule center, the lack of attention by Jan at Central Registration, and the rudeness of the volunteers was just the start that should have made me run. Told to be there at 830am for surgery waited for 9hours even waking up from my light sedation in my pre-op room to be told it’s going to be over another 2hrs minimum time be taken back. Be prepared to wait a very long time and be treated like your just a number. If your Doctor practices at another facility even if it’s a bit further I would go just to never have to go here again. I ended up leaving because I had lost all faith in the facility.SSG MacI had an employee get injured and ge was taked to ORMC. While in the emergency room a nurse/doctor (in scrubs) came in the back complaining and asking another employee how she can write someone up for being on the phone. The employee she was talking to to said just page hom to his office he was in the mood to let a load go. This is the most unprofessional hospital staff I have ever encountered. I will make sure none of my employees come here for any reason. That was a private conversation that should have been handled behond closed doors not in the damn hallway in front of patients.Shelia CastroFirst ER nurse wasn’t much on people skills, but knew what she was doing. Second ER nurse was horrible. My mother was in ER 2 days. She was finally taken to a room and there is no cardiologist there to release her I’m assuming. All around, not impressed.Marie B LiThis place is terrible. Me and 5 other patients were being “treated” in the hallway. I heard about everyone else’s medical history and problems and everyone heard mine. HELLO, HIPPA?!No privacy what so ever, and the doctor basically told me I had to figure out my own health issue, refused to take blood, and do a ct or ultrasound because he was busy rushing to dismiss everyone who arrived with actual issues. He couldn’t give me a proper exam, or diagnosis but sent me home with a bunch of prescription medications…. The nurse was pretty rude and had to be told by another passing nurse to change the dirty bed in the hallway they had people sitting on. It was covered in someones body hair and God knows what else. There were no rooms because of the construction, but that shouldn’t change the quality of service given by the nurses and doctors. I ended up going to memorial regional 30 minutes away for a second opinion. They were exceptional and got everything I needed including the simple bloodwork this place refused to do.Donna MoonSave your time and trouble, this hospital don’t care about its patients at all. It only worried about the moneySam SomeoneIf someone calls the ER at your hospital and asks what the wait is, referring them to the WEBSITE is ridiculous. Rushing my child to the emergency room isn’t the right time to check some obscure website while driving. I want to know if it’s gonna be three hours, then I’ll take my child elsewhere where he will be seen immediately. Disappointed both times I’ve called the emergency room, and fortunately haven’t had to take a family member there. Will avoid it at all costs.Lenny CostaWalked in and RN are the Dr. now before I even was seen by a DR. The RN told me they won’t take care of me. That I need to go somewhere else. So before you go makes sure that they don’t use a website to check how long to see a DR. Advent health and Ocala health both the same they just don’t care and they want your money and they won’t help you.MZX DEBRWent to the ER, Brett Lorenzetti MD said that my ankle is fracture, and I guess since I didn’t have insurance, there words were, “we can’t do nothing about it”. They were more worried about there pizza getting cold than actually helping me.Christopher Dalton⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOcala Regional Hospital was a 5 star experience. Their Trauma Team made my 3 week visit very comfortable and they executed at the highest level in every medical aspect. The Fourth Floor medical team went above and beyond everyday. No matter the situation. There are some names I want to praise: Angelica, Ms. Babbett, Molly, Jeanne, Dung, Savannah, Leanette, Cathy, Matthew, Nick, Dr. Watson, Dr. Richards, Dr. Farrah, Brittany, Lori, Beth, Rosie, and everyone else that helped me get through a traumatic experience. I will always be grateful for the care you all gave me. Ocala Regional Hospital saved my leg. A very grateful patient, Christopher Dalton aka ‘428B Patient”Sandy Cook⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went to the ER for shortness of breath. All staff were very friendly and caring! From start to finish it was a great experience!Stephen Holguin⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe reason why I rate this high is because my wife was very ill we came in told them our situation and worked with us in a heartbeat. They are super caring and hard working.
