Olive View-UCLA Medical Center Reviews

Before you go to Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Sylmar emergency room think.

Nailea Alcazar Worst waiting room! Some of the staff is decent but some look like you’re bothering them by asking a simple question. Have been waiting for over 5 hours, brought my dad in because he’s throwing up and urinating blood and have yet to see anyone. First time here and the last one.Tom E.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCounty health services. If you have your own private insurance you would think this place sucks but for us that have to rely on the system it really isn’t that bad. 1 or 2 hour waiting? When I had private insurance it was the same. It’s basic life saving and pain treatment but where else can you go and see real doctors from UCLA with little to no money?Girogi Ricci 0 stars. Some large eastern european stabbed a 9 inch needle in my shoulder with an unknown substance. I couldnt resist the shot otherwise they would have wrestled me to the ground like they wrestled some other guy before me. My head cracked 4 months later because of it. It also caused deformity in my bones. I guess its a free for all in this hospital. I hope they get investigated and imprisoned.Elijah Novoa⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis is a county hospital long line to wait but you get in and get health service. I bought my wife here because she broke her leg.the doctors were very nice. the nurses were very nice. The hospital’s is clean, security guards are nice the people around are pretty cool with having to wait they know there’s going to be a long wait so they’re pretty much accepted that they’ll be here for a while.Yuri Monroy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’m thankful to all the nurses and doctor who attended my needs. Luckily for me, my health emergency occurred on a mild busy day. My name was called w/in the hour and I was placed on a bed w/in 5hrs (typical for an ER). As soon as I was placed in an ER room, all the nurses were so warm and caring, the doctors ran a series of test and by nightfall, my blood count had raised to a safe level. The doctors were able to answer all my questions (make sure you create a list) and were able to make suggestions/recommendations. Im looking forward to getting my health back on track!Branden Arrived at 6:15 pm and got called at 12:06am for registration. 6 hours exactly before they called me to get registered are you serious. Then another hour before they put me in a room. Worst hospital ever. Dont come here if you have a medical emergency.Karmen Kamciyan Awful! Total waste of my time. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Never going back again! NEVER!Raquel Lindo don’t come here. they are understaffed and will have you waiting for hours on end.Mary Kelkar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommended***THE BEST!!*** I have unfortunately had to come here (and other ERs) many, many times and they are EXCELLENT!! No matter how many repeat visits, how deep my ignorance and/or odd my complaints, these orderlies, doctors and nurses take better care of me than any other medical professionals I have ever otherwise encountered. They have **LITERALLY** SAVED MY LIFE ***TWICE***, once when I was massively hemmoraging internally from a gastric bleed and once when I had thyroid cancer that had been misdiagnosed for YEARS as everything from menopause to bipolar disorder… THESE ER PEOPLE SAVED MY LIFE. TWICE!!! FOR TWO DIFFERENT REASONS!!! THEY ARE THE BEST!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PEOPLE: IF YOU HAVE TO WAIT, BE GRATEFUL!! THAT SIMPLY MEANS YOU ARE NOT THE SICKEST PERSON THERE… YOU WILL BE SEEN IN ORDER OF SICKNESS AND YOU WILL BE TREATED AND TREATED VERY WELL!!!Sir ULTRA⭐️⭐️⭐️I would recommend going early because the later you go the busier it getOlena Pidbortseva The worst experience I have ever had in my entire life. I came with shortness of breath, waited for almost two hours, left without being admitted for evaluation and treatment. Personnel insensitive and indifferent. I thought Olive View Hospital is a teaching hospital which should be a role model for all other hospitals, but unfortunately this is not the case. Something is broken in their system, no patient-centered culture. This is the worst patient experience I ever had.Dad E DuBose⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️in and out . Dont know anything about California hospitals but fortunately I found this one. Great staff.eduardo camarillo 9 hour wait for a damn tylenolJose Catalan Worst place if you want to get treated at all. We have been waiting in the emergency room for the past five hours and all they have done is taken a urine sample. The whole time the nurses are just chit chatting and ignoring patients as you could hear them gossiping and going out for a smoke break. Don’t even bother asking them for help. This place is the biggest waste of timeAhsyanaLi⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTook my daughter here for mango allergies and the service is great. Found out that they have pretty much everything here.
