Before you go to Parkview- Pueblo West Emergency Services, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Pueblo West emergency room think.
Heather Love⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have both visited and brought family members to this ER multiple times and have always been satisfied with the quality of care we received. I feel like this facility really cares about treating their patients, they take the time they need to adequately address their concerns, and they actually listen to the patients when they are describing their symptoms. I am confident in the abilities of this ER, hopefully we won’t need to come back but if an emergency arises I won’t hesitate to choose Parkview.Rachael Niemeyer⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe moved to Colorado less than three months ago. The week we moved I managed to break a tooth. My hope was to just be cautious and cleanly until I was able to get insurance through my job. I ended up with an infection and absolutely unmanageable pain. The ER was willing to take me even though they don’t have many options for treating dental issues. This is the first time I’ve gone to a doctor for serious pain and not been met with rudeness and assumptions. Everyone was extremely kind and honest with me. They made it known they were worried for me and believed that I was in pain. One employee, I believe named Jill, was Beyond hospitable and kept an eye on me as I waited, continuously assuring me that it would be worth staying and that I Will be treated. They somehow managed to keep patients moving in and out while several extremely life threatening cases came in one after another. Even with multiple heart attacks and stroke victims being attended to and a waiting room absolutely packed, I was checked in, treated and sent on my way in less than 3 hours. Not only that but I was given amazing financial advice and lots of resources to help pay my bill and set up dental savings accounts. I am thoroughly impressed with this facility and will be singing my praises about it for a good while.Stephan Abraas⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedExcellent experience when my wife injured her wrist in Crossfit. In and out in a little over 1 hour, including X-ray’s. Friendly, personable staff, attentive and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend to anyone.AlexCame in with the flu and extremely dehydrated. Gave me two glasses of water (that I couldn’t keep down) and discharged me. What a joke. All I wanted was a fighting chance to get better (hydration).Meghan A. Lyndall⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe came in when my son cut his finger. They staff got us in and took care of us quickly. We were in and out in about an hour. Everyone was very kind and professional.C L⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went late Sat morning. The lady at check-in was very nice. I was put in a room soon after. The nurse, lady updating personal info, the doctor, lady who did CT scan, and check-out nurse were all very nice. The doctor answered all my questions and gave me good instructions for follow up care with Primary doctor.Dani AmidonBeen going through a lot lately and I finally went into the hospital and first guy we see Mr. Michael H. Wow not impressed. He sighed while putting in my information the computer and seemed like it was a chore to assist me. The nurses laughed and messed around for 15 minutes seeing which one wanted to take me as there nurse…. pretty upset.. I’ve never been here before, I thought it would be better than the greenwood location but wow…Renee ManningVery inappropriate behavior towards people with disabilities and they just treat and street don’t use them for anything if you want to stay aliveConnie nelson⭐️⭐️I want to start with saying the dr. That saw my great- grandson was very nice and reassured my granddaughter her 3 day old baby would be fine. But the unprofessional, rude, self centered woman(Elizabeth C.) In the front office made a horrible comment about my great grandsons name, called him “little demon” and said, ” well what can you expect naming him Lucifer damon?” And then laughed! My granddaughter is only 19 and was upset that her baby was vomiting with severe diarrhea. What this woman said was uncalled for, terribly unprofessional, not to mention rude as heck. I am reporting this person to the director of Parkview. An apology to my granddaughter is in order. And this rude person should not be allowed to work any job where she is around patients. People go to an emergency room because they are sick, hurt, and fearful. And should not be treated horribly.Stacey Yellico⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat staff and wonderful care for my husband, I give them a 100 percent,Eric SchlegelSomebody I know came in with severe stomach issues and throwing up. They blamed marijuana and even though other people in the house hold who do not smoke were sick they still said it was marijuana. Clueless doctors then the doctor that pops in for 2mins says that when your coming off marijuana your gonna be anxious.. does it take a rocket scientist to possibly think that maybe people who stopped smoking became anxious because marijuana treated there anxiety?? Don’t worry the pills the hypocrites give you too can cause nausea.. but who sees that as a problem?Linda JohnsonIt’s understandable that you have to wait in an emergency room, especially on a holiday. However, they need to let people know in advance the type of wait you are looking at. MOST IMPORTANTLY though, they need to start referring non life threatening emergencies to GO ACROSS THE STREET to URGENT CARE. From what I heard today, Parkview is SEVERELY understaffed. I agree. In my case I waited 3 hours before I finally walked out last night. They REFUSED to tell me how many patients were ahead of me AFTER 3 HOURS. The ‘triage’ nurses did little or nothing to minimize the damage as I was swelling up. Twice now, I have gone there with injuries that caused ‘swelling’ and they neglected to offer ice to keep the damage and pain at a minimum. They don’t seem to realize the term ‘first, do no harm’. When I said I was in pain they said they would numb up my nose, NOPE. I had to DEMAND it after 2 hours. They may be the place to go if you have a life threatening issue, but they should have the DUTY to let patients know when admitted that they are ILL EQUIPPED to deal with a ‘full house.. IF YOU CAN”T PROVIDE THE CARE, ADMIT IT AND OFFER ALTERNATIVES.Thomas Woodhams⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad to go there last night for a kidney stone. I was seen with 10 minutes and received very affective medication within an hour. The staff was professional and friendly. Excellent efficient energy room.Mike HarrisWent in with a broken hand wasent given any pain med.. Then today went in with a real bad migraine and the poked me and didn’t do anything for pain.. Will be calling my insurance and stopping all payments.. Do not go there go to the springs.. These people only care about a pay check… I just wish my pains on themYesenia CardonaI wish i could give them a 0. Most incompetent doctors. You go there almost dying and they send home without even testing you. No blood work no, NO Nothing…. i had tp drive myself to st mary where i was treated for what was wrong with me, along with the significant dehydration 3 ivs… this doctor recomended a probiotic natural way… yogurt??? What a joke. Zero for you guys. Im sure you got your licence a watching youtubeCCathrn Zelez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOutstanding doctors, nurses ,staff and paramedics. They listened and did more in 30 minutes than Canon City Hospital did in 6 hours. Caring, compassionate.Frankie Marshall⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery friendly people.Kate Bertuglia⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFast efficient help. Awesome doctors and teamwork.Ariel Haddenham⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was checked in by Katie she spoke clearly made sure to ask if I would like any copies of things I signed. My nurse Char was a total sweetheart very professional made sure I was comfortable and my doctor was Dr Russo, she showed genuine care for what was happening making sure she covered all the bases. Even when I had to pick up my child in between they worked with me! Thank you Parkview West Emergency Care for everything that you do!Amber IngramCame in on Tuesday night with shortness of breath and tightness in my chest. Was there for 3 hours and they told me after a ton of tests that I had some inflammation in my chest and they didn’t know why. It’s pretty common and to follow up with my primary. Turns out I have a freaking lung nodule and they never told me! Thank god I actually went to a follow up appt afterwards but I’m pissed they never mentioned anything.Christina Farra⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAwesome staff and care!!!!! Thank you so much everyone!!!!Lisa Eby⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDoesn’t matter what emergency room you go to, there will always be wait time because others have more critical diagnoses. Recommend Parkview over any of the centura health facilities around this area.Renee Steward⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBlessed to have this in Pueblo WestLisaIt’s outrageous that you go in at 2:00AM in hopes of figuring out what is wrong with you when you have severe stomach pain for longer than 24hrs and the only thing they do for you is some blood work and an IV!! The doctor went in the room for 1 min and barely felt my stomach and said everything looks good!!! Wow, they are quick to take your $200 but can’t properly diagnose even after you ask them for futher testing…when you pay them hundreds of dollars you should get a little more in depth testing and not a nurse saying “we try to be cost effective”!!! If it was about cost I wouldn’t be in the damn ER at 2:00AM being asked if I want some pain meds!!! I want to know what the hell is wrong with me not just pain pills or some prescription that isn’t gonna show me what is going on with my abdomen!!!Joann HuddlestonMy sister had a her knee replaced and rebuilt. The cast wasn’t right so her doctor in Denver told her just to find someone here to replace the cast. I called Parkview ER. Explained what we needed and asked if they could replace the cast. The lady I talked to said that they could replace the cast. I took my sister to the ER only to be told that they don’t do casts I wish they would have told me that to begin with I wouldn’t have taken my sister over there.Beth Vawter⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I went to the emergency room complaining of vomiting and pain. This is a problem I’ve had many times before. Unfortunately for me the only pain med I can use is one of the most powerful. I couldn’t believe it when the nurse informed me that the doctor would give me nothing for my level 8 to 9 pain because “he doesn’t feel comfortable giving patients delaudid”. So, I ended up having to wait until I was hospitalized to get any relief from pain. In my opinion a doctor should be willing to do whatever is necessary to help the patient. If you don’t feel “comfortable” giving out strong pain meds, then don’t work in the emergency room.Pueblo West⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedLiterally the best level of medical care and treatment that I have ever received in my life. Dr Martinez, Char, Joe and Tara were all great and made me feel much better.Carol Serracino⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedStaff was so nice went in with fractured ankle. Did a great job keeping me comfortable and very attentive.Don Roberts⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis ER is the best in town! We have gone to this ER after reading a local news article about it and have been going here since. Out of 14 visits, we never waited in the lobby longer than 15 minutes (if that). The staff here are always nice, accommodating, and prompt. Most non-critical emergencies can have you in and out of there more quickly! If your emergency can wait a few extra minutes and you are willing and able to drive a few extra miles out of town (Pueblo), I highly recommend driving to this ER. You won’t regret it! A stern warning goes out to anyone reading this who is seeking pain meds: This facility is well equipped/aware of anyone already on pain meds or who have been fired from any pain doctors in town. They are not a pain med dispensary, but can treat people who are genuinely in pain and need immediate care. After a person has been treated, they are referred to other local doctors or hospitals for further care. Hope that helps!Momma Soares⭐️⭐️Usually i would give a 5 this er is overall wonderful but after going there yesterday with my 12 yr old daughter with sevwr stomach pain ! Without fully.listen or diagnosis he automatically said its probably nothing she should see her regular doc now today she is again croutched in pain but he says for her age that normal refused to see if there was some kind of infection going on ! Refused to do any kind of mri or blood tests to see if it was her gull bladder or appedix pushed on her tummy but because she didnt cry when he did or scream he said it was stress then said he kniws what to do becUsr his daughter has a feeding tube ! My daughter has had pain on and off for a few weeks and doc keep telling me she is fine but refuse to run tests if i cant take her to our ER that refuses to do anything then guess i have to drive to denver the physician David is a joke and never had this issue here before what a joke !!!!amberr maynardMy father died in this so called “emergency room” 3wks ago! I was told that the staff themselves did everything humanly possible to save him, they worked on him for 30mins, and they themselves were amazing, i have no problem with the care they actually were able to provide, it’s the care that they weren’t able to provide due to the circumstance of not being a true emergency room!! I feel like these stand alone “emergency rooms” misrepresent themselves. They bill as a true ER while they can’t offer full ER services!!! Just because you house a CT Scan doesn’t give you the right to call yourself an ER. If that’s the case my father wouldn’t have died waiting to be tansfered to a true emergency room!!! Nevermind the fact that they bill unsuspecting patients as if you went to an ER at a hospital, most people don’t no know this, think they will be billed as an urgent care visit, WRONG . They also don’t choose to make this clear upon entering the facility. This actually happened to me personally in Colorado Springs as well, i took my son for a respiratory infection so he wouldn’t miss school and i would miss work only to receive a $500 bill saying we went to the ER. UC Health has more bought it from the original company, is on rangewood and woodmen (stay away in true emergencies) and it’s still a huge scam. As a nurse I find this administrative action and greed against sick people in desperate need of emergency medical care disgusting!!! My father might still be alive had it not been for this misrepresentation 🙁jeff middletonBrought our baby here, the Doc didn’t even look in her mouth. She had strep throat. What a waste of money.Christopher Siber⭐️⭐️Called because they forgot to put in my prescriptions or sent them to wrong store. But when I called not one person had any idea who I needed to talk to. Its frustrating enough to be in pain, it worse when you can’t get the medicine that you were promised would be there. To make things worse they make you sign confirming you know where it’s going to be so you and your wife know because two people heard and verbally confirmed with the Dr what store it would be at.Amber BoneWaited in waiting area for two and a half hours and was only seen to get vitals taken!! Worse service ever!!!
