Before you go to Piedmont Atlanta, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Atlanta emergency room think.
MARCUS LEE⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe best hospital I’ve ever been, better then the Veterans Affairs Hospitals for sure. Went to the ER first and Dr. Watson evaluated me with the best attention to detail I’ve ever had in a hospital, felt that I was in a 5 star hotel of a hospital, most professional experience ever! I owe you guys my life. Thank you Beth,Jess,Nadirah,Hillary,Chelease,Quida,Tina and all of the nurses team on the 5th floor. Deborah was so nice when she came in the room, she kept my room spotless. Chaplain Elizabeth, thank you so much for your prayers. And last but not least, thank you Dr. Marissa Lea Anderson for saving my life! You are my hero Dr. Anderson❤️. You guys are the best! Always will come to this hospital, . Airborne!!Good Reviewer⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had two babies there by C section. After entering the ER I was immediately wheeled up to OB without a wait or even having to sign in. I’ve also taken an elderly relative to the ER numerous times for issues relating to congestive heart failure and they’ve always been great. The people leaving 1 star reviews either don’t get the point of an ER or they’re haters leaving 1 star reviews for everything in Atlanta because they think Atlanta needs to be LA or NYC.Kevin Kissling⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWent early this morning for back pain and muscle spasms. I was in a room with a nurse in under 10 minutes. They ran a series of tests to rule out possible medical reasons: EKG for heart, blood tests, sample for kidney stones, and xrays. I was on an IV within an hour to reduce pain and relax muscles. I was out in under 2.5 hours. The staff was extremely professional and attentive. Other reviews surprise me. It’s a large, growing hospital with modern facilities. No complaints from me.Tempest O’Mouthy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTook wonderful care of my mister – who was terrified to go, and none of the staff there knew that – who had to be seen for a large kidney stone. He’d never had one before and it was bad enough without a bad experience. Thanks Abigail! (Our nurse)B TahririI stepped on an old nail and ended up in Piedmont ER in Buckhead since I wasn’t sure if I had a tetanus shot or no. Right at the front door the valet attendant collected 9 bucks cash no credit accepted, no recipe provided. After about 2 hours I go into a room and the money collector comes and collects $250 before any treatment was administered. The whole experience was something right out of a ghetto establishment, aside from the rude staff. This is as close as you will get to Third World country hospital experience. I should have gone to Emory.Theresa Santiago-Morgan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAwesome hospital. Always professional and fast.Monica MThis emergency room is not where you want to go if you’re experiencing severe and/or life threatening symptoms. The staff appeared to lack knowledge of wait times and processes (or did not share them with patients). The ambulance would drop patients off in the waiting room and they would be waiting along with those who walked in. This was the case for nearly everyone there. I was taken back within 15 minutes of arriving for lab tests, but afterwards waited for 11 hours to see a doctor, NP, or anyone who can diagnose and treat before finally given up, unhooking myself from monitors, and leaving. No one called to check to see if I was ok. They only called about where to send my bill (for medical advice/treatment plan I did NOT receive!). Do yourself a favor and drive an hour or so to an emergency room that’s better rated. Also, if taking an ambulance, find another hospital to be delivered to.Kristen Cargile⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had to go to the emergency for some horrid Endometriosis pain and the staff in the ER was incredible. Dr. Peacock was my physician and was so very kind and caring.Katie Medina⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had to come here last night after a car accident and I have to say for my first emergency room visit I was pleasantly surprised. I was in and out within an hour and 20 minutes and the staff was very comforting and nice.Rachanta WallerSo unprofessional. The receptionist was on the phone talking about how she needs to get some one to watch her kids this weekend. Instead of helping the people in front of her.RENEE ROBINSON⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEMERGENCY ROOMS HAVE ANGELS HARD AT WORK TO HELP A LIFE Dr. Gerrily, Charge Nurse: Jennifer F., Counselor Ms. Chanda and the entire Piedmont Emergency Room Staff are angels hard at work to save a life. Dear Jesus Christ, only you know the behind the scene of what the emergency rooms are faced with from second to second. Thank you Jesus for Piedmont Emergency Room helping my sister and my son during critical times. Spirit of God, Bless emergency rooms worldwide to know that they are deeply appreciated. Peace and AmenAndy Stadnisky⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAfter another emergency room completely missed diagnosed my wife Piedmont has gone the extra mile to treat her and make her feel a lot better I couldn’t be more happier with the doctors and the nurses. Everyone has been so great and fantastic I would recommend this ER and hospital to everyone.Bliss’s Way⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEasy to see from main Street. Easy parking. Clean hospital. Employees are friendly.David Eaton⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWhy is it that the only ones leaving reviews of facilities like this are the complainers? My wife recently underwent a very high-risk major surgery (any open heart surgery is “major” especially during which time they performed a total of 6 different bypasses) but this was a higher risk surgery (due to 3 recent medical issues including an anurism behind a her eye a few weeks earlier & a recent 6-month fight with flesh eating bacteria) and every thing from the cleanliness of the facility to the care she received from the medical staff was not just good but exceptional by even the strictest of standards. My wife has a long colorful history of medical issues (including that 6-month battle with flesh eating bacteria) and had undergone approximately 10 hospitalizations (in about 6 different facilities) just in the last 5 years and both of her her experiences, each one lasting at least 2 weeks, with Piedmont facilities and they all were excellent!Kyle WolffNothing is lit up well at night. There was no patient greeter at the desk and I called twice, had to leave a voicemail. No one came, went to Northside. Place looks run down. I guess that explains all the construction.Kasey Kelley⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I came to the ER on a saturday with kidney stones. I was there for a while but only about an hour and a half was spent actually waiting to be seen because I had several tests done. Everyone was extremely nice. The nurses and medical assistants were quick, friendly, and professional. The ultrasound tech was outstanding. I wish I’d gotten her name. The doctor I saw seemed rushed but was very pleasant and thorough. A couple days after my visit I got a courtesy call asking how I was and how my pain was. I didn’t even know they did that. Nice touch. Overall my experience was good. I hope I don’t need to go back to an ER anytime soon, but if I do, I’ll stick with Piedmont.Genesis H.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had a great experience at this hospital from entry to exit and would like to thank the staff of 2 North (?) for their care. Everyone was wonderful and I appreciate it. (I did not use the emergency room, so I cannot attest to that.)Posh MD⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAwesome people!Marla KellmanDon’t ever go there in case you are having a panic attack, feeling suicidal or have any kind of mental illness emergency. If you do, expect to be treated inhumanely by the very unprofessional staff.Tamara LeFloreNo respect for the your time….. they hand you material in the surgery waiting area about the ICU unit. It says 24 hours 7 days a week visitation. Of course they have a cute soft spoken young girl to tell to visiting hours 24 hours 7 days EXCEPT between 7 and 8 at the shift change. SO WHICH IS IT? Then I get the call it’s time to see my family member. It takes me literally 9 mins at 6:13PM I’m in the waiting area where I am told it’s a bad time time for me to visit. Now I’ll have to wait until after 8pm for their shift change at the ICU where their own printed material says 24 hours a day visiting hours. So I cant visit between 6 an 7 either…… call before you visit they make up the schedule as they go.Brian DunlapI went into the emergency room for treatment and was placed on a gurney in the hallway of the lobby for close to 2 hours with no care from the staff. After having a brief consultation with an on-staff nurse, I waited some more, and finally declined further care. After filing my insurance and paying the co-pay for the visit (upwards of $200 if I remember correctly), I left the facility. A few weeks later, I receive a bill for an additional $709 (an “Emergency Physician Statement”) for the “care” I received from Patricia Meadors, who is a physician there, in spite of the fact that I received virtually no time or care from her or anyone at the facility. I called and contested this charge and was told I would be notified of the results of my contest within a few weeks. I hear nothing for approximately 7 months, until finally I received another bill from her facility. No information about my previous contest, just the exact same bill. I called back and was told “the charges stand” with no explanation or options for further recourse (they curiously had no notes or information as to why the contest was rejected, even though the customer service rep said they normally always do). I truly wish I had never visited this hospital. If the care I received truly warranted $900 in fees, either its physicians are exploiting their patients or the hospital itself is grossly mismanaged. I will absolutely never go there again, and my experience there has made me wary of getting care from hospitals in general, ever.Lexi Glover⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGeary in the emergency room was absolutely amazing constantly checking on us to make sure we were okay and we’ll taking care of. He went out of his way along with Dr. Collins and the male nurse Derek. Thanks a bunch.JOKEE CharlesThis has got to be the WORST hospital I’ve been at in the state of GA… I was sent off with pain medication and no diagnosis. Go to any hospital beside this one! BEWARE!Melissa Vanderhoof⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNursing staff is phenomenal and the doctors are top notch- A++! This is a great hospital, I highly recommend Piedmont Atlanta.Sharon Hammworst ever im sat there clearly in pain. I went back for my exam and was told to hold by pee and put it under my chair that she would get it eventually…okayy.. The wait is just ridiculous with a few people visiting.but they took care of my problemCalender LesterTHE reviews are right. GA (this place included) has the WORST healthcare benefits and physicians. Explains why I hv 3 dead relatives that were misdiagnosed. They are all robots. Waste of time…Karl Allen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedRecently graded A on leapfrog! That is definitely a sign of who and how the staff at this location practices!Shane KingActually been sitting in the waiting room of the EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT for 4 1/2 hours, wife has liver failure and was told by her liver doctor to get down here, which is over an hour drive for us, NEVER in the yeaf 2017 should anyone have to wait for this long EVER. Especially with something so serious. Extremely angry.Troy McGowanWent to a Piedmont affiliated clinic with back spasms. They refused to treat me because of low oxygen and said I needed to go to the ER ASAP. Went there, doctors took my vitals, and same vitals didn’t concern them at all. When I tried to leave they tried to keep me even longer and used scare tactics such as a heart attack risk then left me in a room with no heart monitors for the next 3/4day. I have come to trust doctors less than lawyers these days.Joy RobinsonAllowed a sign to be placed outside of a Patient room that said no person of color was to enter the room and then wrote a statement but this should of never been allowed in the first place an insult and this hospital need to be suedGabrielle L.Went in to the ER for major swelling and localized pain in leg, ER Doc Dr. Thomas (Caucasian male bald, older guy)says o it’s just some built up fat, not an emergency, go see a surgeon. Are you kidding me? Very poor bedside manner and uncaring to the patients chief complaint.Paulie Da KidThis hospital allowed a sign that said “no people of colour” to be place in front of a room on the 4th floor.Kiwana NormanUnorganized, unprofessional, and big liars.jiimyy HoodIdk
