Before you go to Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Santa Fe emergency room think.
Thomas Lopez⭐️⭐️⭐️Walked in with chest pains, all went well until I was taken to a room. While having blood pressure and getting a blood draw, receptionist walks in asking for signatures, and inquiring about insurance. I’m laying in a bed with a nurse taking my blood pressure and about to take a blood draw. Luckily my daughter was there to take out my wallet to get my insurance card. She then returned expecting payment immediately. Told her I would pay upon discharge. Nurses where EXCELLENT explaining all procedures and very professional My biggest concern is when being discharged, The Dr did not visit with me or discuss any follow up. The nurse came in handed me my paperwork and told me to follow up with my primary. I had numerous questions and concerns about tests that where done.Victoria Van Deusen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedArrived via ambulance with a non-operable broken pelvis. I was admitted and given a lovely private room with a beautiful view of the sky. The care I received was excellent during my 2 week stay. Everyone with whom I interacted was professional and caring. Food was excellent and patient’s choice. My only complaints are that the patient cannot control any of the lights and the armchair provided in the room is flat awful.Chris Sanchez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedPayed a visit here and while all the nurses were busy and I was extremely thirsty and hungry I saw a young Security guard walking by and called for him. This guy was amazing. He was so helpful to me and very sympathetic. Brought me some apple juice and crackers and let me use his charger to charge my phone. Very good people here.Heather Torres⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️You are much better to get treated at this hospital than at St. Vincent. I found the staff at this hospital more professional and treated our family with respect than what we had previously gotten at St. Vincent. Very nice to know that Santa Fe know has choices in patient care rather than having to drive the extra hour to Albuquerque.Angel Floreswent to Presbyterian because of shoulder pain & numbness in my arm for 3 months Dr. Burquest xrayed me told me there was nothing he could do and no need to come back, I know that with such pain and numbness something is wrong, he spent very little time with me and sent me away what a waste of time & money, no concern from him about my pain, Chrisus Saint Vincent is expensive but they at least try to figure out what the problem is, I will be going back to them, I’m sure they will look deeper into my problem, medical service sucks but the food is good.jamie breaux⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was admitted here for a week! Let me tell you I did not want to be there. But, the nurses, hell the entire staff made it a great week! I received excellent care here. The food was marvelous. The rooms are really nice, lots of space and very clean. I loved the shower! Lol I actually really miss the staff. Presbyterian has got some good, honest, caring people working for them and I’m so thankful for the care they all provided.YovilleBossy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI don’t know what these low stars are about probably just people from st Vincent being #sad like the service over there . Presbyterian hospital is the only good hospital in Santa Fe I would rather stay at home then waste a minute of my life with Christus. The staff is amazing super nice facility thank you for helping me again PresbyterianLukasz Gorecki⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedIn from out of town, had a problem relating to an existing condition; The treatment here was excellent and the staff were incredible. The hospital staff very quickly communicated with my doctors back home and took care of me very well. Thank youClaudia Van LucheneI arrived at Urgent Care at 7:40 and waited in line for 10 minutes, only to be informed by the unfriendly receptionist that the place was closing in 9 minutes. She directed me to emergency services in the next room, which I knew would have cost $500. I told that I’d like to see someone in Urgent Care instead, since it wasn’t closing time yet, and she became even less friendly, stating she’d have to ask the nurse. A woman walked into the reception area from the back (the nurse?), a few words were exchanged, and the receptionist said, “No, she won’t see you.” Wow. So, the sign says the place is open until 8:00 p.m., but maybe it’s only open until 7? 6? What’s the cutoff?Antoinette⭐️⭐️Did not have a great first time experiance. Brought my mom to the ER. Took 5 hours to tell us we needed to be transferred to UNM in ABQ… lot of mishaps and waisted time at this place. Lan (I think her name was) our RN was very awesome and understanding!! She was probably the best one there at the ER!Mo Hyde⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy sister received excellent care at Presbyterian Hospital after Mayo’s in Phoenix failed her. She was hospitalized for 3 days and the care was outstanding. The medical personnel are very knowledgeable. So glad we have this hospital in Santa Fe!Christine RomeroVisited the urgent care and was literally out in 20 mins. Ive had a terrible cough for over a week and its only getting worse to the point where i throw up from the coughing fits. Nothing has helped so going to get checked was my last resort. The doctor comes in and gives an exam. Once shes finished she basically says nothing is wrong with me and she doesnt believe in medicine and told me to drink tea and eat honey before bed. Then has the nerve to ask me what i was expecting out of the visit! Once i was leaving the lady at the counter made me sign 4 different times and didnt even explain anything. First and LAST time i will ever go here! I will pay the 150 upfront for christus any day!Christian Montijo⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMostly writing a review to give recognition to Liliana in respiratory who went out of her way to help my daughter in every way she could even though she didnt have to. Thank you.N’Rike P⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWent to Urgent Care, staff was great! Was seen quickly, diagnosed and released quickly. Doing a great job in less time than their competitors across town have been trying to do in over a century! Happy we have Presbyterian in Santa Fe finally!!Vialpando FamilyWent in last night with abdominal pain. Waited to be seen for 5 hours got moved to the back to never be seen no vitals, no nurse, no doctors. Walked around looking for a nurse and there were none to be found. It was a horrible experience I had to leave because the pain was to much and I needed medical attention and they couldn’t accommodate! I won’t go back. St Vincent was never this bad!!Sharlett BravoPoor service, very dirty as well. I was waiting there to see if my baby was a live or not for about 5 hours and still was never seen! The front desk reps were so awful Jessica was very rude to me and my fiancé. Also not to mention the blood all over the waiting room which was not cleaned the entire time I was there. When I informed the front desk about the blood Jessica gave me a dirty look and a poor response and never even called it in… I don’t know about anyone else but this was the worst experience and I would go over there even if I were dying! Also pray for my unborn child!Cody SzaboFirst off the urgent Care is not 24 hours. They had me sign my consent before presenting me with information about what I was signing and wouldn’t listen when I didn’t consent. This place is horribly run.Marylyn Richerson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWhat started as a scary ER visit turned into a great hospital stay. My boyfriend was triaged immediately and then admitted quickly. The staff all the way from the front desk to the rest of the hospital were wonderful. They were attentive, caring, kind and friendly. We were there for a few days so I became familiar with the hospital and had a few conversations with many different staff members. The food is really pretty good and they have a great selection. The meals for patients are included in the stay and my meals were super reasonable. The rooms are nice as well. There is a little couch that folds down into a little bed that is not too bad. I can’t remember all of the names of staff that helped us so I will just say thank you to all of them! Room 208…discharged on 1/26.Jennifer Martinez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone was so wonderful and caring. So kind and compassionate. Staff took extra good care of my 78 year old mother! Thank u!Renee Martinez⭐️⭐️Slow place was here for 4 hours waiting for a xray no good placeT Solano⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat staff, very nice facility & excellent care.Zuleika JaquezI’ve took my baby twice here, and I’ve had such a very bad experience! This is the worst hospital I’ve ever been to!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL TO ANYONE! ILL RATHER TRAVEL TO ESPANOLA NOW!!J GOn Monday June 17 at around 1:30 am my wife and I walked in to this hospital near cerrillos and the highway. There was this young security guard staring at me rudely. I ignored him and proceeded my way to the bathroom. I came out and walked to the front desk and he was laughing. So I looked at him and smiled. I think he took it the wrong way and started staring at me and laughing. I asked him what’s so funny? And he just walked to the back. Then a nurse called my name so she can check my vidals. She was rude by the way. And asked me a lot of questions about my history but in a sarcastic or rude kind of way. Then she had me fallow her to a room. As I was fallowing her down the hall way. That same security guard was smiling or laughing at me when I walked in the room. Then the nurse asked me to change rudely and closed the sliding door. I told my wife that I was leaving because I didn’t like how this was going. So we walked out I turned to the nurse and the security guard and said I was going to another hospital. She asked why. I told her because this place is vary unprofessional. I turned and started walking back to the lobby. As I was walking out. the security guard started fallowing us put the door and laughing at me and my wife. I replied back by throwing up the middle finger as I left. Never go to this place at night!!!!!Alisha Duran⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDuring my best friends stay, every employee I encountered seemed to really love their jobs! I’m so glad this hospital was built! I wouldn’t choose any other place but here!! Great job all nurses, doctors and staff!!Jessica Jones⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have received the best treatment at this facilityRyder Doty⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat facility. Seems very state-of-the-art. I enjoy the design of this hospital with it’s giant focal-point windows that overlook the beauty that is Santa Fe. There is plenty of easy, flat parking. It’s not layered as much as Christus St. Vincent’s parking lot so I feel it allows for easier patient access. The floor plan is very open and wide to better accommodate those patients in wheelchairs. I plan on utilizing this hospital in the future.Te Te⭐️⭐️⭐️Just got home from there. It took so long for them to tell me they didn’t have medicine for an ear infection. Ppl are very very nice tho.Jordan Higgins⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEmergency room visit was one of the best I’ve ever had. They we’re attentive, professional & kind. The facility was so nice, I was in & out in a timely manner and feeling so much better. Highly recommend!Caleb RaymerTried to use this facility twice, terrible experiences both times. Mostly nice people, but they did not have the doctors or resources needed to help with regular (non-trauma) urgent care or ER services. Both times required resources from Albuquerque facilities, which added many hours to what should have been basic medical care. Even the ABQ staff said it should not have required their assistance. Avoid if possible. While Saint Vincents has a lot of problems, it has not been this bad. I hope they can get their act together sometime. ** The Pres urgent care on St Michels has not been able to help during any of our family’s visits there either. They also refer us to Albuquerque. They do not however, refer us to the new Santa Fe hospital…Angie OlivasHospital sucks, staff is rude and I would not recommend coming here. I asked for my daughter to be transferred to another hospital and they refused. The way they screen mental health is pointless and do a video call with a psychiatrist.Julie Vigil⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHospital was AMAZING! The rooms are suites. It’s more like a hotel than a hospital. The entire staff was courteous and very professional. The menu is incredible for being hospital food. It looked more like a 5☆ restaurant menu. I definitely recommend this hospital and the entire staff!Andrew QuerciagrossaVery disappointed with our ultrasound visit. The tech was not very friendly or didn’t seem to care. The real kicker was that they don’t even provide prints of the ultrasound! I don’t know how that’s even possible. The only redeeming quality was the friendly lady at the front desk. Go somewhere else.Mara Garcia⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone from the first step in for an emergency, to leaving after being admitted they were awesome. All the staff wonderful people, thank you Mekisha Armijo Padilla⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff are kind from the start . There are no rude nurses here! They understand that a person’s not well and are empathetic to a patients needs and they make you feel comfortable and welcomed as much as one can be in a painful situation. The doctor was straight foward and thorough however needed to connect a little better but other than that facilities were very clean as well EF Doyle⭐️⭐️Called for an appointment, was asked “what insurance “told them but when i arrived was told that they did not take my insurance and visit would be an out of pocket expense to me. Waste of building space.Jacky MendozaI made an appointment for an annual checkup and was scheduled one “never told they are not doing annual anymore they now do 3-5 year check up for women “ I literally went in for nothing left right after they told me thatSarah DriFterSNAPthedirtykid⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWent into the Er first day. Staff was New but super professional. They actually took time to listen to me and get my input on things. Also want to give a big 5 star rating to Dr. Virginia Harvey. Super professional staff guys…. I will be coming back.Deanna Anderson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedJust left urgent care. 84 year old patient. Check in person, Tracy, was fabulous. The NP, Donoldson, was patient and kind. I can’t remember the RN’s name who initially saw us. She was great, too. Overall, a very positive experience.andrea Sutor⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI came in and they took such good care of me. They ruled out and tested me for any possibilities of what could be causing my problems. I’d definitely come back if I had to of course which I’d rather notMaxine Martinez⭐️⭐️I was seen in the ER..i was admitted for some health issues not within the scope of the dr and nursing practices. I was quickly referred to Albuquerque..i was somewhat confused and reluctant about this sudden decision to transfer. I refused to go, the nurse that was assigned to my room, told me i had to go or i would die. I clearly realized i had no choice, other then death, to tranfer, so i went. I want other patients to know there is no reason to be bullied into making decisions by any member of this certain establishment. No one should ever be pressured or forced into anything unless its a real life or death situation!D CSTheir urgent care dangerous! NP and Doc both did not understand english. NP or assisstant typed in computer colonoscopy…… when I completely said something else any english speaking person would know. Nightmare!!!Jill JonesNight ER Dr. is incompetent and it’s hard to believe he made it through medical school.#1 Powerup Ent. KDTMThis place is bad. They have no respect for people. My wife was in labor the ER manager was telling us they had just delivered 6 babies there. Then make my wife cry. Not to mention my baby probably felt my wifes pain. They treated us like we were nothing. Like if we weren’t from Santa fe New Mexico. We have had 6 kids born and raised here. Our selfs also. I make more money then all them put together plus pay more taxes then most. I got a great job. I thank god for my life but the people have to learn how to treat people. I guss i wasn’t white or black enough for them there. I had to drive my wife almost having the baby to the old hospital. were they received us like family. God bless all the staff here at Saint Vincent’s hospital. Thank god my baby was not born at that place. I dont Recommend this place to nobody the worst iv ever seen people act. God is waching tho that is what makes me happy. Because they will receive what they gave. Lala Garcia⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWow amazed with the good Doctors they have there, and very friendly staff ! Great hospital in Santa fe!Brandon Trimborn⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI love this place! They are all so awesome!Daryl QuintanaWorst hospital in Santa Fe !!! Would not recommend this place to anyone !!!Nina M Velasquez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommendedwow was waiting for my husband to get out of surgery the waiting room is huge and plenty of seating charging station for phone and some of the seats have plugs in them while waiting went and had breakfast staff very friendly and helpful had biscits and gravy with sausage and oj all for 3 dollars very well priced and very delicious also waiting time to be seen was less than 10 min love itJeanette RodriguezI don’t recommend it. I went to Presbyterian in Santa Fe with expectations that it would be as great as the Presbyterian in Albuquerque and hope that it wouldn’t be like Christus St.Vincent’s and I am very frustrated and disappointed. I was treated by a very wonderful young lady at the ER front desk, as well as the head ER nurse John who was so wonderful and helpful and are the only exception to this visit. I was in the ER from a little past 10am and had x-rays, ct scans and was in the room without a single person checking in for over an hour ceveral times. I had to look for somebody just so I can check the status of my visit. The Nurse that was assigned to me had absolutely no idea how to use most of the equipment and had no clue as to what was going on he entire visit. I also need to mention that I walked in to the ER with no food in my stomach incase any testing/xrays required an empty stomach, at about 5pm I was over my visit, with a headache from starving all day (and without any water because they couldn’t even offer that) irritated because nobody had come in, in at least the last hour, with no idea of what was going on so I waited a little longer until I took all the wires off and got dressed and went out to look for somebody. I finally found somebody and complained that I had a headache and fealt weak because I had not eaten all day or have had any fluids to drink. They sent out a sandwhich and a small soda at about 6pm and I finally saw the nurse who was assigned to me and she was surprised to see me fully dressed and I then explained how frustrated I was from waiting all day with no results on an empty stomach, I truly believe she had already forgotten about me at this point because she asked why I hadn’t been discharged already?!. The Doctor finally came back in, in a rush (because he probably forgot to discharge me also) and proceeded to mention that all my results came back fine. I did not get discharge until about 6:30-7pm. I’ve also tried calling to mention that I still do not feel great and all they can say is, “Come back in and visit the ER, we don’t know what else to say”. But I’d like to mention that I got a $11K bill for my insurance from this visit!! I expected a lot more from this place.Monique BarrerasThe worst doctor patient experience I have ever had. Dr. “Mo”, completely incompetent and rude. Don’t bother with their Urgent Care.Vania Meetze⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFantastic staff and great food in the cafe.yassiel marquezThis place was over hyped, it legit really sucks we came in on the ambulance and waitied still to be buzzed in for a good minute or two. The staff is HORRIBLE they have no sense of what a work envoriment consists of! While we waited for “tests” they ( employees) were just talking about there dogs new sweater and haircuts and over heard other RN’s loudly talking about drugs and some paitent information; seems like this place doesn’t know what HIPPA is apperantlty. Dont hire young staff and expect good results worst place to be even be seen at! St. Victims isnt even thats bad.Adrian TokidokiThe woman who greeted me was very rude.Eric SerranoBeen here over 4 hours stuck in the waiting room…Joe P.$3,700 to be admitted to a hospital. $900.00 for a blood test……sickening.
