Providence Saint John’s Health Center Reviews

Before you go to Providence Saint John’s Health Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Santa Monica emergency room think.

Paticia IKEGBU⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI want to thank GOD that through the professionalism and empathy on the part of the doctors and nurses at Providence Saint John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, such as Dr. Grace Chang and Dr. Dennis Holmes( my doctors), I received a complete cure of breast cancer. I give glory to GOD for the assemblage of such an excellent care team. Every one involved treated me with the utmost respect and compassion, as this is very important to a patient’s positive mental status, which enables healing. I am very appreciative of the attention everyone gave to me.Judy Vanzant⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have had 2 surgeries at Saint John’s. Great staff, starting at admissions. Great care, clean facility, good food. Couldnt have been treated better. If I ever have to be it a hospital again I hope it it here. I have recommended to others and compliment the care I received there.Karol Davis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOMG! I cannot believe anyone Gave them ONE STAR! ARE U KIDDING ME??? 1ST CLASS! Food is awesome, staff is highly capable n qualified, they work together n help each other out. The ER runs like a well oiled machine, n u are in, tested for stuff, n taken to a room quick like! Docs are excellent n VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. Did I mention the food? Like a great restaurant! I was born here 60 yrs ago! They were great when the nuns were there, n they are great now!Katherine Lipel This facility sadly is a no care facility. The doctors are impossible to get in touch with. No one provides information regarding planned care, results of tests and day to day progress. My father was left in the bathroom for 45 minutes alone. Unless you are there for your relative multiple times patients will be ignored and abandonedIna Hillebrandt⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSt. John’s Family Medical Center has a star in Dr. Stephane Garcia. His medical knowlege is deep and far-ranging. Beyond that, he is the most caring physician I have ever encountered. He listens, and helped me recently in a way I felt went beyond the call of duty. Way beyond. I am so grateful!Julian Buendia I came here because i’m a Catholic Local from St. Anne Church, this place has caused the separation of my family by making false statements relating to health care matters for the purpose of financially kickbacks consisting of a provisions established with the CLAYTON ANTI TRUST ACT… I pray to god for vengeance and to strike you down with a bolt of lightning!!! You disgrace the Catholic Religion and only use the religion as a tax shelter and guise to criminally profit more… DO NOT DELIVER YOUR NEWBORN IF YOU ARE ON MEDICAL HEREAdam Flaxman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI just want to thank the ER staff here at Saint John’s. I was ill for days and was becoming very concerned for my health. Within hours the staff had diagnosed the issue and applied remedies that instantly began my healing. To Dr. Susan, RN Mike and the lovely ladies in the reception who all took care of me with kindness and compassion, thank you so much. You are doing great work. I acknowledge you and am appreciative.Karla Carranza⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had my thyroid cancer surgery May 21and was there for 2 days had the greatest experience with my doctor and the nurses very thankful Then on May 26 I get a mini stroke and decide to return since is a great hospital and was admitted for 3 and also had a great experience I WOULD ALWAYS RETURN Kevin Rolph⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedIt was great. I would recommend this hospital to everyoneGina Nahai My son’s doctor sent him to this ER because he suspected my son had sepsis—a life-threatening condition that can lead to death if not treated right away. The ER staff put him in a room. No nurse or doctor came in to ask a question or administer any kind of care for two hours. I kept going out to tell the staff that sepsis has to be treated right away, to no avail. After that they did blood tests, then vanished for another 3 hours. No amount of asking for a nurse or doctor helped. In the end we had to wait for the night shift to come on. The charge nurse at night, Tim, was very helpful and responsive, as was the nurse, Shabelle. Not their fault that the day crew were callous, disorganized, rude, and uncaring.Stephanie McIlroy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAmazing service!Trump TV⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSuch a great hospital. ER nurses are excellent! Especially Princess Dione. She helped our family relax and get through it. Thank you.Jason Zivich 4 stars for the personnel and care. -3 for the misleading services and billing. They did not disclose their charges nor that the doctors there were all contracted separately from St John’s, so technically out of network from insurance. If this would have been disclosed, I would have gone elsewhere to get my medical needs covered.J B⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe nurses and doctors were quick, professional and caring. There were some… “interesting” patients in the rooms next to us in the emergency department, but I guess that’s to be expected at 2:00 AM.Sydney Strickland If you’re trying to get in contact with this hospitals phone line, you are out of luck. these doctors are rude and unhelpful. had to go to another emergency room.Maria Campanotto What a joke of an emergency room. Two hours to give my dad pain medicine. Three hours to get test results. Some nurses are not friendly. Never come to this hospital.Nu11⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedExcellent service, Have a bit of patience and the staff will help you 120% of the timeM. Kelly I wish I could give it no stars. I found the staff and care mediocre- But the billing at this hospital is just awful. The doctors are not connected so you many separate bills at different times (different doctors, hospital bill, lab bill, we even got an ekg bill! Who bills separate for that? etc). Then they send you to collections little in just a couple months after the service date. We had a huge bill from our hospital stay and paid it on time. However a minor bill from the hospital a few weeks earlier and that had to do with this hospital stay was not included in the large bill. We did not know this when we paid and were sent to a collections agency which affected our credit….Brutal. We are definitely not returning as we don’t want to receive care from people with this mindset. Also, we are in the medical field, have worked for many different hospitals and never encountered something like this.Carol McGovney⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My Dad was brought in emergency and transferred to ICU. Everyone has been caring, helpful, attentive and communication has been great.Erica Hosey I would not recommend my friends and family to work here.Toussaint Powdrill⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHouse Nurses really keep everything moving. the EVS dept are polite and keep everything so clean. Caritas aka VIP room are exceptional.Yevgeniy ZELTSER Terrible. My 87 years old mother suddenly lost her ability to move or even sit. She spent there 5 days and it turned to be not a simple case – all regular tests did come normal. And…they discharged helpless old woman unable to move – without finding what the problem was , without a diagnosis, without even trying to heal her…And on top of that – three days 3 different case workers promised to help us with some necessary supplies like komod, wheelchair ets. (Medicare requires some paperwork from a hospital to be filled in that case, items are not cheap at all). And… at the night of discharge 1.5.18 (they discharge some patients off-coarse after hours, when all responsible managers are gone), we found that it was some misunderstanding and un-clearance in the papers, doctor never signed – obviously not our fault. And the final blow – next morning we were refused any help in that matter – No more case, the patient discharged..! That’s low. I wonder – what the Hospital administration thinks about that… low. hours, when all responcibleYve Mellard 1.8.18-8:30pm Left work and went to emergency. I was listing to one side, or backwards, and many people were trying to help. WhenI arrived at St John’s Emergency, all was well. Everyone was nice, professional. As expected, I waited hours to be seen. Led to a room where nothing was done. Waited, slept. Finally, doctor enters and says I am Fine! There is Nothing wrong! And, I did not have the flu either! I am free to go! I stopped the doctor mid sentence. If there is Nothing wrong, why can I not stand or sit up straight? Strangers kept offering to help keep me from falling. I have thyroid problems. Do you not want to check my thyroid? Do you not want to run a blood test? The doctor was apparently confused, but agreed to run a test. A friendly nurse then painlessly drew blood. I went back to sleep. Around 3am I was rudely awakened by the doctor. He was in very much of a hurry. I was exhausted, sick, and barely able to absorb what he was saying as he rushed to hand me some paperwork, muttered an address, and told me they were open to fill it??? I had no idea what he was talking about. Suddenly, just that fast, I was alone. Everyone, was gone! I slowly got dressed and walked to the lobby. Only 3 male employees were there, passing the time at the exit. That was it. Considering how ill I really was, my thyroid was going ballistic, they never took my pulse, but my heart was racing, I managed to pull myself together and get an Uber pickup. The meds I needed would have to wait until I could get them at my regular place. I had no idea what they were for? Zithromax? Later, I found out I was very sick. No communication. Doctor rushed. Guess he wanted to go home, since the emergency appeared to be closed and no one else was around. Over all, Very unprofessional doctor. Sad experience.Dominic Chiarelli⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedQuick visit, doctors, nurses, all staff in general a huge help to keep me comfortable and very attentive. I mean it’s to the point where I’m writing this review in triage.Barry Zalma⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBest possible care and surgeons and no students.Simore Buths This place is garbage the staff are horrible, disgusting, lazy, rude, and there are more words i wish to use to describe these scumbags. But I cant find them i wish my wife did her research before we ever came to this sorry excuse of a hospital
