Before you go to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Hudson emergency room think.
Chrissy Parsons⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️At first i didn’t expect to have a great experience. I sat unattended for about 15 minutes in the waiting room. the Ultrasound tech was AMAZING. The nurse practioner originally spoke to me, it seemed like before he even looked at my ultrasound saying “everything looked normal” then when i asked if he could see the fibroid he looked stumped and had to say he had to look at it still. So i lost faith at that point. There is no OB in this ER, so i felt like, with an OB issue, they just wanted to get it done quickly and send me home and not find out what was causing my issue. When the NP looked at the blood flow he sounded in disbelief that i was “actually bleeding”… which i had told everyone already. Then he began giving the service i appreciated. he took extra time to sit with me and explain everything. He even ran extra blood tests to totally rule out a possibility. In the end, i was still sent home with just instructions to f/u with my original OB (who sent me there). But i was very impressed at the end and believe the staff is great and very kind.Hdot Dottie⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone was very friendly and helpful. Doctor helped to make you feel comfortable. He was through and informative. The wait time was very minimal, which is always a plus. Electronic check in may be confusing to use to those unfamiliar with electronics. All in all I was very satisfied with this visit.Alexis Hatzis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was very satisfied with my care at Regional Medal Center Bayonet Point! I received prompt care no waiting at all. The nurses and staff were very caring and responsive to my needs. The doctor was thorough and explained everything fully. I highly recommend this emergency service. Thank you, Alexis HatzisMark st denny⭐️⭐️Many Docs in various positions. There is NO communication anywhere. Every person gave me a different story. Meds were the same. No idea what I was given, when, or why (for the most part). The Hospital is poorly managed at very least. It is also understaffed and lacking of a coherent objective. Seven nights in ICU were completely uncalled for. The one fact that was very clear was if one has insurance, many unneeded tests will be run to pad the payment to the Hospital. Overall, the poorest performance of any facility I have ever been to or admitted to..Adrienne Diprima⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAndrew was excellent in his care and knowledge of his job. I have had sleep studies done in the past in another state. This time was far superior. Andrew’s positive attitude and professionalism made this sleep study a good experience.Dionna Esposito⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI received great care at this hospital. Dr Lorre is amazing doctor. His bedside manners make him impeccable! A nurse by the name of Alesa on the 3rd floor was so professional and efficient! I have no complaints.Rosemary Jenkins⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe best Care ever! I was attended to by a very professional and caring staff. The hospital was meticulous as well as organized. All staff we’re ready to help in whatever way they could. The employees of this hospital make it great! Thank you so much for taking such good care of me.Lynn Clark⭐️⭐️Arrived at 3:30 for a 4:00 MRI – they chose the time. First, didn’t tell him he had to have a lab done before the MRI and after we had waited 40 minutes actually asked US why their check in person did not send us for labs. Then told us, after they were already late that there was an emergency MRI but we were next. Now, two hours and 15 mins later, we are STILL waiting for the MRI. This is a management problem and needs to be addressed. Otherwise the care has been good and the people nice.Ann MacLeod⭐️⭐️I had tripped in a parking lot and fell on my face. I was checked by the paramedics at the scene and went to the hospital the following day. I saw a nurse practitioner who ordered x rays and a CT Scan. Over four hours later, I was notified that nothing was broken. I was the only person in the waiting room. Everyone who had come before and after me had been seen by a doctor and released. I advised the nurse I was leaving. I have other health issues and could wait no longer. I never saw a doctor and was never advised how to treat my injuries. My visit was a waste of time.Penny Smith⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went to the ER on my birthday!!! I was admitted and I couldn’t believe the place!!! The Doctors and Nurses were wonderful. They cared about every little detail. They smiled and joked and took the best care of me. Thanks so much Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point for having and sharing the best of the best!!!!Angie FinchMy Father has been in the hospital since Saturday 1/3. Not one doctor has been here to see him. Room 2564. (Day three) Communication has been very poor. He is taking medicine, prescribed by Moffitt, for his cancer and is scheduled to take three pills this morning, he won’t until he speaks to the doctor. Asked nurses about doctors and was informed that they have to see all of their patients everyday, it was part of the contract. Just had nurse reach out to assigned doctor and was told she is not available. Waiting for covering doctor to return nurses call. Not happy and will have him go to another hospital if needed in the future.Eugene Dempsey⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy wife was hospitalized for 11 days and had the best of care. She said her stay was terrific and everyone was so kind. 6 stars to all.Frank T.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAlthough I did not want to be there…Started in ER about 4:30 PM where all the staff was attentive and friendly. Then was admitted and moved to a private room about 7:30 PM. While there the care, attention, friendliness, and focus was stellar. They made me feel like I was their only patient. Even with the shift change at 7:00 AM next morning the new staff were all the same. If the need is there, my recommendation is Bayonet point, they will take care of you.Austin Meagh⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy wife fell getting out of bed to use the bathroom. She is 92 years old and couldn’t get up. I’m 85 and couldn’t help much so I called 911 and an ambulance responded and took her to the E.R. She was examined right away and in a short while I was summoned from the waiting room. The nurses who were treating her were doing an excellent job and she was able to relax. A doctor came to examine her and she underwent a cardiogram and a CT scan. It was early in the morning and I couldn’t believe the number of personnel in the E.R. caring for patients. I certainly felt relieved to see how attentive everyone was to the patients. I have always felt confident in the care provided by Bayonet Point. My wife underwent a coronary bypass and a couple of other procedures years ago when Dr. Waters was there. I feel very confident in R.M.C.Terri Brown⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedUpon arrival, I experienced no delay in receiving treatment . Moreover, throughout my my entire time at the facility, I experienced little or no delay in receiving treatment . The staff was friendly and highly competent, and I found the facility to be vey clean. I would not hesitate to recommend Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point to anyone who needs ER treatment.Darrell Gowen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone was wonderful in my care. Doctors, nurses, staff, everyone would check in and see if I needed anything. Additionally they would only schedule test after they had results from last test. They did not run test unnecessarily. Thank you very much.Stacy Thunder Camara⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had very good care during my recent stay…I walked into ER and was admitted…I had AMAZING nurses in the ICU…Netrell ( I don’t know if I spelled her name correct) was the first nurse I had…she was so sweet and caring…when she left I had a new nurse named Daiquiri come in and care for me who was just as sweet and caring! There are a lot of nurses that could learn from these girls!! I was actually bummed a little when they moved me out of ICU cause I loved my nurses! When I was moved I was put in a room with an elderly woman who could not stop coughing…which I felt bad for her but made it hard for me to get any rest while there. Everyone was very kind and helpful during my stay! Thank you for making me better!!!Shawn C.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI’m still admitted, 2nd day here. I actually was discharged from Bayfront in Spring Hill 2 days after I had a mild heart attack. 2 hours after discharged ended up here cause of heart attack symptoms. (12/23/2019) I can just say that being here at Bayonet point, I’m much-much more confident and I’m being treated very well! The Dr’s are listening. The resident Dr’s were great, nurses are great and everyone has been very respectful and treated me very well which in return makes me feel safe and confident that my care is in the right hands. Tomorrow I have a diagnostic procedure and I don’t see that being a negative experience (how I’ll be treated I mean) so pretty sure this review won’t need to be edited in a negative way! Thank you!Barry Bloom⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFrom arriving at the emergency room until being discharged, the experience was satisfying and successful to bring the health of my wife back to normal. Everyone was very personable and friendly and caring. The doctors were great. They insured me that she was getting better and made sure she was well before she was allowed to leave. They really cared. The rooms and service were outstanding. The food was okay, but there is a Subway and cafeteria in the building to fit everyone’s appetite. I was so satisfied that I changed my doctors to those affiliated with this hospital. I rate this better than Advent Hospital of Tampa.Pam Jaynes⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was treated like royalty. Everyone was so friendly, polite and pleasant. I would recommend this institute to anyone.Nicolette Fitzgerald⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI got sick on holiday and was treated so quickly and efficiently! Everyone in the hospital is so friendly and caring and they explain everything so well. Luckily it wasn’t serious and I was sent home within a couple of days. Shout out to Liz and Jeremy in the ER and nurses Tiffany, Jenna and Amanda and everyone who helped me including Dr K and Dr Pitarys. Thank you so much everyone!Dave Gibson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBayonet was professional and thorough. They did all they could for me and then sent me to Windo Woods rehab. Between the two, they got my electrolytes straightened out and got me walking. I am very pleased with the care and compassion they both showed.Dolores Pikowski⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI recently visited the emergency room twice last week. This was my first experience at this hospital. From the time I entered the door, the rn took me right in, asking me what was wrong. After taking my vitals, I was whisked in & seen. Even though I was ill, I was surprised at how quickly I was taken care of. I was given a script & was told to go to the pharmacy & pick it up. Unfortunately, the medication did not agree with me, not the pa fault. It was mine. I had to repeat my experience again, this time I was again met with an excellent staff, 2 nurses by the name of Debbie, the last one was from my home town up north. Great, great staff including the techs doing my x Ray to Dr.Kelli. Thanks to all who made an awful expierence, a GOOD one.Carol Dimse⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEveryone was very competent and also very friendly. I felt very comfortable and procedure went smoothly. I think being a retired RN establishes a special rapport with the nurses. I have had several procedures at your hospital and have always had good care. Thank you.305FTO⭐️⭐️Nurse and nurse assistance was good other than the following deficiencies; After I arrived at the room and was settled in 3 hour later after surgery I advised one the nurses or assistance that It felt wet at the surgical area, she then removed the ice pack that was placed by the OR and told me I no longer had a need for it in a abraut and careless manner!!! Second issue and third that needs attention asap are the fact there are no love seat in this particular room as it was missing something very convenient for a family member who is staying overnight. Last but not least special attention is needed to the rooms cleanliness as the bathroom floor was yellow in front of the commode and sticky, few hours prior to my departure a young color lady knocked in the door and asked if we wanted the room cleaned? As she would not see thee need of it! She was turned away by the floor nurse who advise her that I would be going home soon, so she gladly left without cleaning the bathroom or the room! My family observed the discrepancies listed above as well as to the lack of staffing and over worked the floor was! Never before I have seen a NA passing meds.Roseann Sandt⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNeeded emergency care last week and came by ambulance. Check in was very fast and efficient.. I had two nurses who were wonderful and skilled. Experience was very positive and would not hesitate to come there for any medical need.Doreen Goff⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI just wanted to Thank the awesome nurse’s in the er they were amazing and so caring and so dedicated to their jobs. GOD Bless them ALWAYS and Thank you for all your hardwork and definitely does not go unnoticed Ann Donahue⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe received exceptional service. The staff was very attentive and my husband got all the tests needed in a quick manner.lisa javinskyI came in with extremely swollen feet they ran several tests and determined that my I had no problems. They advised me that if the plain and swelling got worse to come back so I returned again the next day due to more swelling and was again sent home both times without even a prescription just informed to contact my cardiologist which I did. My cardiologist prescribed me a diuretic and informed me that if the swelling didn’t start to recede to go to the er which I did as the swelling got soooooo bad that it felt as though my skin was going to split. I then went to North Bay and was admitted for Congestive Heart Failure and they made sure that the excessive fluid retention was removed and educated me on how to maintain it. Thanks for trying to kill me Bayonet I’ll never see you again unless it’s by ambulance and not by my choice.CYRUS COOK⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAll of the staff were very proficient and professional; from registration to the staff in nuclear med. Thank you all.Kayla MalteseTARUMA NURSE MERCEDES has absolutely no bedside mannerism what so ever. My mother was hit by a car. I am her ONLY immediate family so when they denied me any information if she is okay and that woman at the desk acted like she had no idea what was going on, Mercedes came out. I was doing nothing but sitting on my phone not saying a word she threatened with security for absolutely no reason at all. Being a nurse is s special job for a special kind of person. If you decide to work in an emergency room there are going to be people with high emotions and I’m sorry but someone having a bad attitude is not a reason to threaten with security. I hope MERCEDES is never in an emotional situation and treated that way.Steve Anderson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedConsidering that I died 3 times. I was Brought back by 2 incredible heroes an RN and a transporter. These 2 young heroes will forever be a part of me.Jim SchmokeAbsolutely the worst hospital I have ever dealt with. It is impossible to get released from here even if the paperwork was completed the day prior. The right hand has no idea of what the left hand is doing. Find another hospital and take my word this is not the first time we have been through this. Terrible management!!Rocco MazzioI was given a hard time about bleeding too much not help it was not triage properly shut up used more gauze and stop the bleeding on all of the ruins was more speed then went back and individually took care of each one did notallow me to look at x-rays or explain the severity of the bread other than you need to go to a specialist orthopedic and which I did do and found outI had a severely broken some that is going to require extensive surgery. If it were up to me I would pay none of this billRick Knapp⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDoctors and nursing staff were awesome good bedside manner thank you very much for your servicesA Google User⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe care i received was timely. The nursing staff that cared for me was always considerate and caring.Emmanuel AlvaradoThe worst please I ever been when to the ER whit a splinter in had and the doctor over there told it was to deep so he was not to dig in there what kind of place is this. Then I have to wait till Monday to see my doctor and he referred me to have surgery on my handSusan Theil⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWas taken into a room quickly. Evaluation was quickPat Flory⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDuring my stay for a GI bleed, the staff was very professional and courteous. The nurses showed genuine concern for my well being and my health. Also the supervision staff came around and checked to see how I was being treated, which also shows me that the hospital cares about their patients.Patti French⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had a stent put in carotid artery. everyone was very attentive to my needs.Brian P. Moore⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedProfessional, efficient, thorough, humane, respectful, quick, attentive, thoughtful, educational, informative, informed, advised, suggested, recommended, kind, thoughtful, humorous; sophisticated in their medical procedures, knowledge and knowhow! Highly recommend. Would put my life on it! You cannot go wrong. Thankful. Gratified, appreciative, impressed, overwhelmed. Terrific!BOB EVERS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy recent visit to Bayonet Point Medical Center for successful life saving surgery could not have been better. The quality of care was excellent. My expert Doctors and professional intensive care nurses treated me with kindness, and courtesy and responded to my every need and concern with patience and tolerance. I left Bayonet Point with a new found respect, appreciation and gratitude for all the unsung heroes working in our medical community. Every aspect of this experience from checking in to being wheeled out to the valet was seamless and done with ease. Bayonet Point Medical Center is a valuable resource for all Floridians.Russell Stone⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was treated with total respect to why I was there. The staff couldn’t have been better. I was a name not a number. I received the attention warranted given my situation. I grew up in Boston with all the big hospitals, I feel much more comfortable here.Susan Johnston⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My mother had a recent stay after a stroke. Her physicians, the icu team, Residents Dr.Patel, Dr Jack Lubka and her neurosurgeon Dr. Hudson were all amazing. As a nurse myself I pay attention to all details and watch as others provided care for my Mother. The night of 12/11 my Mom was on the third floor and had the best care of her whole stay. Angela her nurse, Kristina the charge nurse, two other nurses, sorry I don’t recall their names, and two female residents were the “A team” for my Mom. She went into AFib RVR and the team went into action. I am so thankful to all of them that night. They are the “5” star team, unfortunately some of the care provided on other days was just adequate the reason I rated it a 4 star facility. If she had the same nurses as the night of 12/11 the whole stay there is no question it would be a 5 star facility. The third floor night team rocked! If you are fortunate enough to have them, rest assured your loved one will be safe and well taken care of! So thankful to each of them who were involved in my Mother’s care!!Glen Marinella⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedService was great. I appreciated everyone’s help.Marilyn Cate⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I was at RMCBP for a heart procedure. Check in was easy. My nurse Ariana was super!Frank Hartle Jr.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedEvery one from emergency room personnel to room attendants were very caring and competent.Janice Shirley⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThank you for supporting the dedicated ED team, they make every patient their priority!!Tiffany Justice⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey took such great care of me. Not one problem!Helene ManleyI am 84 and had back surgery. Never got a follow up call. Never got release instructions. Was supposed to get home care. Ball was dropped. Finally 6 days later after my kids made many calls that I got a nurse. She went through paperwork for instructions and nothing. Never ever have I been to a hospital and not received a follow up call. I sat 6hrs before surgery after the time I was told to be there. Will never go back to this hospital.William Bendt⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Rehab group is very good, being knowledgeable, caring and concerned. The volunteer staff at the outpatient and procedure entrance D needs to either be better trained or replaced.Kathy Dorsey⭐️⭐️I came in by ambulance Tuesday, December 3, 2019 with an extremely painful and swollen knee. My ability to get up to do anything (like using the bathroom) was gone. I was put in a room and my male nurse, Drew came in. He was very abrupt and I felt had no bedside manner. In his dealings with me, I asked if they were busy that night and he not “not particularly.” I never saw Dr Canos, whose name was on the board, only Christine Myers, ARNP. She ordered an X-ray and an ultrasound. The ultrasound tech didn’t care when I complained his pushing on my knee hurt, but he mumbled something without looking at me and continued. I couldn’t find my call button, not that it mattered, since either no one came or it took forever because my spouse went out in the hall and asked anyone she saw for help. I had to go to the bathroom , so Drew put me on the bedpan and left. It took me 2 minutes to urinate, but by that time he was gone. I waited and waited, and was extremely uncomfortable. When he finally came back, I said, “please don’t leave me like that ” and he replied in a curt manner that there was someone that couldn’t breathe, and didn’t that take precedence over my being on the bedpan? I was told by Christine Myers that I had fluid around my knee and a Baker Cyst behind my knee that was pressing on the fluid causing the pain. I followed up 2 days later with my family physician who diagnosed that the fluid was blood and took me off Elliquis immediately. I was bleeding around my knee. I was very disappointed with my visit last week. I came into emergency by car the end of September, when I was diagnosed with A Fib. I was admitted for 3 days. That visit was stellar. I had wonderful care from the ER to my room in the Step Down unit. These 2 visits were like night and day, so I know you have the ability to offer excellent care which I didn’t see on December 3rd.Steve E⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had labs drawn here and the staff was very friendly and courteous. I had an appointment and was seen at my actual appointment time, so that was nice. I recommend Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point for all your diagnostic and acute healthcare needs.Robert Hazlegood⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe entire staff in CPRU and the Cat Lab could not have made my visit any better. From timely check-in, efficient service and constant monitoring after the procedure, all facets of the time in your facility was outstanding. The meals were as ordered and very, very tasty and satisfying. Thank you.Mary Casey⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was in room 14 in the emergency last Thursday. From the minute I walked in and the gentleman directed me to the nurse and then into room 14 everyone was very nice and I felt I was in the right place. Vivian and the other lovely nurse made me comfortable. The doctor and everyone I came in .contact with were very professional and caring. The intravenous didn’t hurt, I got a tetanus shot and blood tests and cat scan of head and neck. The doctor was very nice. I didn’t get a chance to write the doctor’s name or other nurse because they were changing shifts. My cut on my head was glued and today a week later I have no black and blue marks from injections and my scab is about to fall off. Everyone was truly professional and the room was clean and I must say I am glad I went to Bayonet Point, Thank you.Jennifer Houtz⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I usually go to Oak Hill hospital in Spring Hill which is closer to my home. But after the last few trips to the ER there I decided it was time to go to Bayonet Point hospital instead. At Bayonet point hospital they don’t ignore there patients, they treat they patients with respect, they keep you updated on your care and the staff is much nicer. I would recommend Bayonet pointPaul Madsen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The nursing staff was good, but they could not ell me what could be wrong with me after two times in ER and all kinds of tests and xrays.Jenny Kinney⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had the best experience with the best crew of nurses and doctors. I could not ask for more. Very polite , awesome bedside manner, and caring individuals…in all the years living in Florida best experience stay in a hospital and I have had a few stays elsewhere.Kathy Odomirok⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCant say enough good things, they where wonderful I went to er and immediately taken back ,kindness workers in all fields , professional only here.with kind hearts, left in much better shape than when I got there. I will stay with this hospital.Chelsea Louden⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️When I was their for my gallbladder surgery the night nurses were awesome an some of the day nurses but I did have some who didn’t even come in an I know it’s hard at times but kinda felt icolated at times an had one nurse poke me 3 times before asking for help to get IV started my arms were so bruised when I went home other then that it was all good except the food I hate hospital foodJoycedick Satz⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The staff was very caring and considerate. I would suggest that the quality of your tissues be ungraded significantlyJennifer Sievers⭐️⭐️The day I went was very busy. I had originally gone to a walk in clinic but they sent me to e.r because my abdomen was very swollen…. i was in extreme pain and sat entire time in a chair. Which aggravates it more. The doctor ran tests labs and CT. One of the nurses comes to release me before I spoke to the doctor. She came back and said everything looks good ut take a copy of the CT to your G.I so I immediately got in the car and read it ..it stated my gallbladder was distended…my kidney has lowered and twisted and my small intestine had fluid in it…and also damage to my spine this having no relation to my visit but would of been nice to ne warned about any of it rather than hand me a copy and say take this to your doctor!! If i hadn’t read it or has insurance to see a dr i would be suffering more thsn i am now. The nurses were great thoughMike OlivaWaited over 3 hours to be seen. Asked several times for help and their response was we didn’t forget about you. Very disappointed in the care from this facility. Would not recommendwingman mauro⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER Recommended
