Natasha Tretheway⭐️⭐️My last few ER experiences over the last few years have been horrible. ER staff weren’t using infection control precautions ( i.e., not using gloves to start or remove IV). There was no privacy. I was left on a gurney and told I would be roomed when the next one was available and never was. I was by myself, because we drove from another city to come to Renown, and I wanted my husband to take my 2 yr old and 9 month baby to their grandma’s. I didn’t want to potentially expose them to anything. My husband made the complaint and someone contacted me and they apologized, but also asked why I didn’t confront the staff. I was not going to complain that is why I personally didn’t call, but it is frustrating paying for a service I did not get. I felt bad physically and then was made to also feel bad emotionally . If Renown didn’t have the technology it did… I wouldn’t go there, but there aren’t many options especially with insurance deeming networks. Their PCPs are pretty good for the most part. I love their Peditrician’s office, and I did have good birthing experience at the main Renown. I wouldn’t say it is all bad. However, the ER has been lacking on multiple occasions. I had an experience in 2016 when I was in excruciating pain. I was treated like a drug seeker and told they found nothing. A week later I had surgery. I had stage 4 endometriosis . My bowel had wrapped around my whole reproductive system. That is just one of my many examples. Could it have been the start of that happening and they didn’t see it… well sure, but to be treated with indignity is the issue, which seems to happen often.SebI came here last summer and was the worst place I’ve ever been to I watched the nurse give me double my dose and the staff is lazy and rude. never come here I rather die I did not feel safe here especially with those degenerate guards that try to act tough in front of sick peopleaghmnk mjEmily sagalyn is a terrible dr.!!!I went here tonight for a terrible sinus infection that hurts so bad I can’t even sleep, have a 24/7 headache, and have terrible pain in my face. I have done everything over the counter to relive my infection and it has gotten worse. This hideous monster of a doctor refused to give me anabiotic’s and saw me for about 10 seconds told me I had an upper respiratory infection. What are you serious? Not a single one of my symptoms are related to my upper respiratory they are all in my sinuses. The doctor knows that a sinus infection could be very potentially dangerous And she told me that I could only be treated with antibiotics if the symptoms persisted for 10 days. I am so upset I’m gonna contact my insurance tomorrow and tell them whatever I have to so that this woman doesn’t get paid! Thanks Emily for making me suffer with an infection all threw the holiday weekend I hope you get ur MD license suspended:)DonTheThird⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy wife and I went in for severe morning sickness and the staff here treated us incredibly well. I was nervous at first going here based off of some bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised at how above and beyond the staff treated us. From the quick wait times to the feeling of genuine care, I absolutely recommend this ER over the downtown one.Tomasito358⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOn Sat, May 18th, 2019 My wife Audrey Munoz was seen at the ER for an eye ailment, The care was exceptional. Our daughter Kimberly Huffman is an RN at the Day Surgery at your facility. Nurses Rocco & Trina and Dr, DeWeese were the best ! Thank you, Juan T Munoz MDRuby Musser⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️It takes hours but the care was a 5 and Dr. Iida and the staff were all very helpful. Thank you Trina, you’re a top notch nurse. Going home with pneumonia meds and relief.Laura BarronA very long wait and inadequate care. While the nursing staff was amazing, the doctor lacked compassion and interest in the issues that brought us to the Emergency Department. Perhaps, the location closer to downtown would have offered better care.Eva Lopez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Staff is nice but they are slower than snails!! Been waiting for two hours. Came in with diffulty breathing. We are out of town from LA and our ER’s are extremely busy but never have I waited for as long as today!! I had to come back an edit. Changed from 1 star to 4 stars. The nurses and Doctor were awesome. Very caring and efficient at what they do. Although, their wait time is still ridiculous , I will rate that 1 star. **maybe understaffedCraig Appel de Morte⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSuper fast response time, Doctor listened to all concerns and addressed everything. I have never had a better experience in an ER in my 47 years.Joe MincksWouldn’t even go here if I was dying! This is hands down the worst hospital ever. They put you in a room, and basically forget about you. God forbid your significant other asks the nurse for a doctor after waiting. You’ll get thrown out!! Will never go here again!Kristin C⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Generally helpful. Great staff assisted with my little one with a high fever late at night. Wasn’t as pleased with how they had difficulty with a catheter procedure for testing, but overall felt they were caring and helped us in a prompt manner.truth betoldQuite possibly the WORST medical experience ive had in my entire life…so i was feeling down and depressed and needing assistance so i call a few mental health centers around town. one tells me just to go to the nearest ER and they will help me out. so i do just that. drove here they checked me in and stuck me into a room where i laid and waited. there was NO mental health staff in the whole entire hospital to come talk to me. they had me get on a webcam and talk with someone HOURS later about my issues. they asked a bunch of questions and told me i would be held there for 72 hours or until they get space at a mental hospital. ok. fine. so im in this room. they wont close the curtains and are watching me through a glass door. long story short. i was trapped in the same room for 3 entire days staring at the tv on the wall. they checked in on me only to check vitals and offer food. no meds were given to me no one came and talked to me. the nurses had no smiles on their face and basically forgot about me in this room which i literally laid in for over 20 HOURS A DAY! being in here was an absolute nightmare from hell. i tried to ask the nurses about what was going on they would lie and say oh we are working on it. they did not work on anything. i saw them sitting on their butt on their computers not a care in the word. one time the doctor came out and started massaging the nurses shoulders and stared right at me thru the glass door like im not even there. what kind of stupid jacked up hospital is this? the nurses got an attitude and any time i would come out of the room they had an attitude and treated me like garbage. they had a stupid sorry looking security guard there when i raised my voice because of my horrid treatment… i feel like i was treated inhumanely here. when i was able to get out finally a guy came to do a mental eval. he said im ok to leave and he told me “yeah one of the nurses said just get her out of here” like are you JOKING. go to hell you terrible uncaring nurses. i know you will read this and this is a FIRM WARNING to anyone needing mental help NEVER EVER go here NEVER EVER step foot in this ER and NEVER EVER put yourself through what i had to go through. the system and this hospital specifically HORRIFICALLY FAILED ME.N IWhat the freak Renown?!!!! When it says ER it means E-M-E-R-G-E-N-C–Y!!! We need action ASAP!!! I am literally here in Renown right now and we are still waiting. It’s already 30 freaking minutes!!!Stephanie Lee⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWow! A terrible accident with a power tool was made way less terrible by Dr juhl and staff here. They were prompt and tolerated my annoying curiosity of medicine and along the way provided much needed humor. I would gladly drive all the way across town to this e.r. again (If needed! #renewedpowertoolrespect)EXVI EXVILNISYey a trip to the ER, who says that? Yea its never fun, fast, & whatever thats expected. I do expect to have a doctor actully doctor up & give me proper medical care. Dr. Scott Franklin Shepherd, completely out of touch, narrow one minded, cant diagnose a swollen ankle not caused by injury, ignores test results, and basicly 1/2 ass proceedure my life. I went in fot a swollen & bruised ankle, no injury, X-ray confirmed. Dr. looks at my ankle “Oh thats gout.” Draw blood, pee sample, results normal, no high *acid to indicate gout. Im not a 50 yr old man, overweight, & i dont drink beer or eat alot of red meat, common causes of gout. Dr. again comes in “yes its gout” “look up a diet online.” REALLY?!? WROTE me up a anti imflammatory for the “gout” & 2 antibiotics for a chance it maybe a skin infection. Three months later 2 swollen ankles from nowhere. I went to St. Marys ER this time, these are real doctors, did blood test, pee test, X ray, sonogram to check for blood clots, and sent out lab test. No its NOT GOUT, or even skin infection, it is autoimmune but cant be certain of type til labs are back. Renown is reckless & careless, ewwww.
