Krystina Ferrari We went in tonight (2/16/18) because my husband was having an allergic reaction to his new antibiotic. Dr. Jorge L. Partida saw him and agreed that he was having a reaction but insisted it wasn’t from his medication. Would not prescribe a different antibiotic because “he didn’t feel comfortable doing so” and had them give my husband a shot of benadryl and a shot of a steroid and sent us on our way. The discharge paperwork doesn’t say anything of what they gave him for the steroid, and he’s currently having a reaction from that. If I have to take him to the ER again, we are going to Clovis. I will never go back to this ER again if I can help it. Dr. Partida is a jerk to his patients; I had to go in last month and he was the Dr. I saw then. The VA wanted my to have blood work done to test for MRSA and he refused to do the blood work and instead did a urine analysis(something the VA had already done) and put me on an antibiotic. He kept saying that I needed to go see a gyno and that he was doing the work he did “as a favor” for me. This Dr. is a joke and not the good kind. I’m still seething and livid from our visit tonight. If I could give 0 stars I would, that’s how bad it is there.
