Rose Stapleton Reviews

Before you go to Rose Stapleton, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Denver emergency room think.

Ant G⭐️⭐️Went here for stitches. Got those, had to stay a few more hours. During the wait, I heard the nursing staff making fun of my name, and that I am sure of. I even heard them spell it out. When I confronted them angrily, I was told “You misheard.” No, I didn’t. The doctor was fine, the stitches as far as I can tell at this point are fine, but I don’t like being treated like I am dumb and/or crazy.Rosemarie Chostler⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was seen immediately. No waiting. The staff was s great!Leigha Juravich⭐️⭐️The physicians and care we receive here deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately, the incompetence of the billing department brings it down a lot. We have unfortunately had to use this ER 5 times this past year. Every single time, they take down insurance and all pertinent information. Every single time, we get a letter of expenses where insurance has paid nothing. We call, and usually get the response of “Oh, sorry! We didn’t have your insurance information!” They re-run it, and sometimes that’s it. Other times, they spell our name wrong or have things coded incorrectly, and we have to follow up several times with rose and our insurance. The most recent time (because we’ve dealt with this), my husband made sure they had everything correct. And again, we get the same statement that insurance didn’t pay, called rose, stated they didn’t have our insurance info (this was our 5th time-how were we not in the system by now?!), and re-ran it. We then get a letter two months later stating they haven’t heard from our insurance and need our assistance. We call our insurance, and they never got any claim submitted from rose. So my husband sat on hold while our health insurance called rose and tried to sort things out. We have to go through this with rose AND the er physician billing company, as those bills are separated (luckily the physician company never has incorrect info, so it’s just a call to give them our insurance info AGAIN). We haven’t had ANY issues with billing with UC health or SCL, and it’s to where we won’t use this ER again, even though the care is great and it’s so convenient for minor emergencies/off hour medical needs. It’s just not worth the fight every.single.time. (And the fight isn’t even with our insurance!! They pay every time! It’s to get rose to properly file the claim).Rodney Koehler⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat experience. My wife tripped over a fence and broke her wrist. We were In quickly and all the staff was very professional and caring. Thank you for the great careChelsea Marie⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey are wonderful , amazing people . I came here because I broke my foot . They were patient and caringDan Semotan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBest experience I have ever had. The check in was quick, the facility was very clean and the staff were not only extremely friendly and professional, but truly care about your wellbeing. I wish every hospital could be like this one. I hope my eye gets better! Lol.Matthew Fink – CDOT I came in here with a rather nasty (what I thought was) ear infection the day before I was to fly to Florida for a vacation. I came in, they weighed me, I sat on the bed, they took vitals, then the doc looked in my ears with the scope and said I didn’t have an ear infection and recommended over the counter medicine to help and sent me on my way. The treatment was fine and within a day I was almost back to normal. THEN – my bill arrived. $3,400 just for the ER, $21 for the doctor. After several failed attempts at getting a detailed statement, I finally got a letter with one line that read “Level 3 ER” or something similar, with no additional information. Not very detailed!!!! I’m obviously getting ripped off. The lady I talked to on the phone was not very helpful and basically told me I was screwed, and could either pay it or not. I have good insurance which covered half of this, but charging over $3k is criminal. When my daughter was born, we spent 3 days and 2 nights in the hospital. All of the medical care associated with that, the doc’s, the anesthesiologist, and everything else only totaled $10k. Outrageous to say the least. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! And don’t tell me to call your Advocate line – I don’t need help understanding my bill. It’s very clear what you’re doing.Garrett Poorman This is place is disappointing and unfortunately the worst ER I have been too. Wouldn’t waist your time and would go to Saint Joseph’s or a non stand alone hospital where there is more expertise and you can get more care.jessica metcalf⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFast service in out defiantly the place to go I even had great staff they worked with me on billing partRachel Meyer⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was hiking in Boulder and fell. I knew something was wrong and needed to get to an ER. Because I was able to drive—hurt my left foot—and I live in the Stapleton area I decided to drive down to the Rose Stapleton ER (plus it was close for a friend who was meeting me there). They came out to get me in a wheelchair, I was taken back immediately, and they were the kindest and nicest people ever. All of a sudden there were 3 nurses checking me out and getting my information and the doctor came right in to examine me. They brought a portable x-ray machine to me and the technician was super nice and gentle. The whole process took less then an hour. We were laughing and having a good time despite the negative reason I was there, yet so attentive. Even during the ‘down time’ they were still coming in to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything. The place was clean and super nice. If you ever need an ER, I would absolutely recommend going there. To top it all off, they called me the following morning to follow up and see how I was feeling, make sure I was able to get in to see the orthopedic doctor and see if I needed anything. Fortunately, I’ve not had a lot of hospital visits but know others who have (and have been with them) and no one has ever called the following day or days to see how they were doing. It was a great call to get and was so appreciative of the overall care!Jennifer Warn⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff here is wonderful! Great care.Roland Baecker I had to bring my wife in on a Sunday night because of a extremely bad migraine. Dark room at home and over the counter medication didn’t help, the pain was not tolerable anymore. Because it was Sunday night around 9pm and we live just 1 mile from the facility, I thought I drive her over to get some help. My wife did get help just by administer medication you can not buy in a store, nothing special. They charged us over $10k for the treatment. Really ???? That is criminalChaseGillespie I had to visit this urgent care for a lower back strain, knowing exactly what was wrong since I’ve had this re-occurring injury for quite a while. I was at the hospital for about 15 minutes, total, from arrival to departure. I let the NP/Dr. know that I needed a muscle relaxer and a steroid for inflammation, she wrote the prescription and I left. I talked with her for maybe 3 minutes. I received a bill for over $1200.00 dollars and they are holding steady on that charge. DO NOT VISIT THIS URGENT CARE. You’re much better off going somewhere else. UPDATE: Called Lisa R. as directed below multiple time and left detailed messages. I have not received a response from anyone. Horrible customer service. Update 2: Still no itemized receipt or explanation of charges having asked online and via telephone. Do yourself a favor and do not go here. If you do go here and have a horrible experience, please leave a review so others will be dissuaded from this place.Wendi Harville⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDr Loew is great! He is knowledgeable in everything. I came in with a migraine that I had been having for fifteen days! I had been to another e.r. a few days before with no relief. I had also been to my personal Dr, who was also unable to help. Dr. Loew had me feeling much better in less than a half hour of arrival. He also was very reassuring that this was nothing dangerous. I also had a great nurse named Dawn. She was so nice, and caring. The radiologist lady was also kind and funny. Even the gaurd that greeted us when we came in was very friendly. There was no wait to be seen, and we were there less than an hour, even with a CT scan.Francie Dudrey⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMy three-year-old daughter fell out of bed in the middle of the night and cracked her head open. We took her to the Rose Stapleton ER, and they got her in within minutes. The doc and nurses were amazing – they clearly had experience dealing with pediatric patients, and were able to keep her relatively calm. I had packed snacks expecting to be there all night, but we were in and out in around 45 minutes. While I hope we don’t ever have to go back, I know that if we do, we’ll get great care!Thomas Castanzo In late October 2018 I entered Rose Medical Stapleton around 6 or 7am with abdominal pain which had been worsening from around 3am. The pain was becoming unbearable. It seemed like (bad) food poisoning to me but I wanted to get it checked. I was examined and sent home by the doctor with symptoms that were “unremarkable”. I was relieved that the doctor didn’t see anything ‘serious’, but within 1 hour the pain was so extreme I went to the emergency room at St Joseph’s. The diagnosis was for a serious condition which required an operation; 4 days in hospital; and 4-6 weeks recovery. In retrospect, perhaps more serious possibilities should have been considered by Rose Medical. In future, for serious symptoms, I will just head straight to the hospital emergency room.David Gonzales This place is not good for ER. Took our son this morning for bleeding post tonsil surgery. Our son was vomiting blood and the Dr. continued to chit chat while we were asking for help. Then, after an examination the Dr advised us to watch our son for a few hours and give him plenty of water…our son was about to be released until the ER Dr called Children’s Hospital and Children’s requested our son to be transported to Children’s Hospital via ambulance immediately where our son was taken back for immediate surgery. I don’t feel like they treated this emergency with proper concern or urgency.Powder Stone⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I cringe at the idea of writing senseless online reviews of people, products, or places just to be cynically critical or to express my own lack of satisfaction, but to the contrary, I would really like to express how grateful I am for the practitioners at Rose Medical Center Stapleton ER. To be entirely honest, I am a sometimes rude patient because I have frequently strong ideological issues with some of our western medical practices and with western medical practitioners, but even then, the staff here has never been anything short of attentive and respectful to me, even when I have been less than so. I just visited this establishment this evening, and the staff was genuine, informative, and very kind. The doctor was quite accommodating, and so were the nurses, which was a wonderful contrast to other experiences that I have had elsewhere (even when I have been very nice at those other facilities). I actually feel safer as a person knowing that this emergency room is so close to my home, and that is NOT something that I would say lightly. I do have to express that I have Medicare and that my co-pay is often low, because I am thoroughly aware of how exorbitant and criminally inconsiderate medical costs can often be to the average person, especially when so many doctors do not actually do anything in my opinion, but still, I feel fortunate to have been a patient there tonight, and I would like any staff that may possibly read this to please accept my wholehearted gratitude. Asante. 고맙습니다.Ashley Taylor⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCame in after experiencing panic attacks for several days. Staff was incredibly friendly, understanding, and helpful. They are not very busy either so wait times are minimal. I absolutely recommend this clinic.Kelly May⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had the option of going to this free standing ER or a further away urgent care for a sliced open finger. Eventhough I knew this place would have higher co pays, I chose it because it was new and closer. Glad I did. Very clean, no wait. All staff, nurses and doctors were very polite and friendly. They kept the mood fun. In and out in an hourBaha Sanginov⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery satisfied with my experience. Thank you for your professionalism!!!Ricky Schlueter⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedMan, this place is awesome. I’ve had two employees injure themselves on the job in the last couple months and both times we’ve been blown away by the expediency, level of care and professionalism. Zero wait time, immediate care and very friendly staff.Melissa Schultz I went to this facility for an earache and I was there less than an hour. I received no tests outside of a visual check by a doctor and only an Ibuprofen 800 as treatment. My bill was $2,970.50. I have gone through the dispute process and they refuse to budge, this is their real rate of charge. DO NOT go to this facility, their charges are unreasonable. If I had not accepted that pill, my bill would be thousands less. Giving me one pill of medicine that was available over the counter inflated my bill thousands and they knowingly did it. Do not use this provider if you can help it.Miss Shuler⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis ER is a hidden gem. Everyone here is super nice, it is a hospital so you can only expect it to be so quick but they are fully equipped and definitely professional and knowledgeableKym A NOT I repeat NOT an emergency room!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!! Worst so called medical care ever in my life do not go here if you need serious medical care as they will not and can not do any type of scan or ultrasound , they are just a Glorified urgent care with dirty beds. all I got from this so called Er was A severe head cold for 7 days from the 3 staff members that sneezed on me and in my room, and I hadn’t been sick for over a year until I went here, it’s not clean it’s filthy , they don’t give arm band id which I think is illegal, dr said he would come see me to explain my results after he examined me in a totally separate room which was completely and totally unnecessary and I never seen him again and was discharged Still horribly sick and in horrible pain without any antibiotics which clearly I needed and told to go to a gyno when I was told to go to an Er by my dr already , it’s been 6 weeks and I’m still having the same exact issues 🙁William Anderson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedIn and out in less than an hour. Staff is super friendly and they move quick! Michael Pytel⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Came here on a Sunday. Checked in with drivers license then we were taken back within five minutes. Very clean and orderly. Exactly what you want in an ER FrankieRayO 21 minutes, $3756.45! Avoid freestanding ERs. Our 11 year old son cut his leg and required stitches, urgent cares were closed and Rose being our hospital, Stapleton ER being the closest, we went there. Service great, charges ridiculous. Still waiting for an itemization that they haven’t spelled out (it’s been four months!). Simply cleaning, no Xrays, and only a few stitches. These stand alone ER’s have been criticized lately in New England Journal of Medicine, Washington Post, Denver Post and many medical journals. Pointing out that there are no price controls, warnings of costs and that they’re ridiculously expensive. Another example of rampant greed in the American health care for excessive profit. Don’t blame this on Obamacare, other than more restrictions should have been placed on for profit health insurance, medical and pharmaceutical companies.Monica Martinez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery concerned and helpful staffMomma Matz720⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Love the new location .Mike Mcbride This ER does not treat PAIN !!! If your hurting GO Somewhere else !!!!!!!!Ash Hopkins $4200 for basic treatment!!!!
