Before you go to Rush Copley Medical Center, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Aurora emergency room think.
Britt M⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Came here around 6pm on Sunday and we were all in all done and out around 7:30 PM. I’m not giving our experience 5 stars because the lady who brought us back for weight and pre check I felt was rude and irritated. She had no compassion for our toddler who had a hole on his face and didn’t particularly want to stand alone and get weighed. Also, I know we were at an emergency room but I feel like our toddler should have gotten fixed sooner being so young and everything. BUT the gentleman who cleaned him up and the doctor who glued his wound together were both great and definitely showed compassion. Thank you!Naveen DWaiting times are unbelievable, never visit, irony is when we feel its emergency we don’t have time to read reviews, but as many mentioned wait times are horribleLindsey RieserWaited for 4.5 hours. The waiting room is DISGUSTING. I wanted to lay down on the bench because I had been waiting so long. I asked the gentleman at the desk for a wipe because there was food all over it. He walked over and said “It’s just crumbs?!”Dulce Vargas⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Everyone was so kind and professional. Very helpful and wait time was not bad. I especially loved how they were attentive and did their best to make you feel comfortable.Nagaraju BitlaSo pathetic, we went yesterday for my son of 6 years old due to abdominal pain. They made us wait for 2 and half hours doing nothing except height and weight measure. By kids slept by the time and we went home with out any medication. I believe they are under staff but they are making people wait for long hours, instead they can tell approx. wait time upfront so that we can make a choice whether to stay or go to a diff clinic.Rebecca jigseyAwful, awful, awful dr there. Extremely rude and uncaring.Stephanie PriceUnless you are coming in in an ambulance. Avoid Copley at all cost. The wait times are unbelievably long. My husband refused an ambulance and had me drive him in. He was screaming in pain when we arrived and are have been waiting for hours to even be seen to a room. If we had known it would be this long, I would have called him an ambulance or taken him somewhere else.J Burt1115Be prepared to wait 6+ hours in the waiting room and still have not been seen by a doctor. And an er receptionist who cannot answer any of your questions.Brian StanzilPlease do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I was here two days ago with unexplained pain in my shoulder and back. They didn’t want to believe me. I was told to take ibuprofen and ice it even though I told them I was ready doing that and it was having no effect. Saw a real doctor today and was informed that a heart condition or a blood clot in the lung could explain my pain. Fortunately after an EKG and CT scan I’m alright but the people at Rush Copley should have run these tests. If I had either one of those things I could have died. Incompetence on full display. I will never return here no matter what.Julie PetrieThe ER docs don’t seem to take situations seriously, especially mental health. Once they find out someone has mental health issues they write everything else off. I was actually told that we shouldn’t bother with stitches since my daughter has so many scars anyway. WTH?!Sarmad Faiz⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOne of the best hospitals in Illinois! We have been coming here for years and the E.R staff, doctors, nurses and residents here are so nice and treat you like family. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, sound pretty fabricated and far from the truth!Kyle KollerNot only was I rushed out the door being told that what I thought had happened wasn’t plausible, (I had a dog bite and was thinking I had damage to the bones in my hand) my bill was charged separately from my rush Copley account, so I have been making payments to rush Copley and Still got sent to collections by aurora emergency physicians. Watch out !lola libra⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI had an accident and the ambulance arrived very fast. Stuff was great and caring. Dr. Davis stitched my finger very fast and I didn’t feel any pain. Can’t thank you enough.ZaK AbbasActually I was hope for a zero star rating but unfortunately I couldn’t. This hospital is the worst of the worst in town and the rudest staff I’ve ever seen, they say “nurses are angels without wings” but the ones here are Demons with Horns.Salomey Kesse⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI have Sickle Cell and I’m new to the state. Having this disease is an ongoing thing so I’ve been to my fair share of ERs and clinics. Like I just moved from New York. This has been the most amazing experience at a emergency room I’ve ever had in my 23 years. Not only was I checked in and taken to triage is less than 10 minutes, I saw the doctor, given medication, and registered within the hour. NEVER have I been treated so nicely and fast. I am so grateful for my nurses, this is an experience I will never forget. Thank you so much.Sam WrightMy son is on the Autistic Spectrum and was born with Tethered Cord Syndrome. He has had 2 neurosurgeries to allow him to walk and be able to tell that he needs to void his bladder. He has to cath through a stoma created by his appendix from his belly button to his bladder. He is in extreme distress and is/ we were unable to Catheterize. I called the ER and was told to call his surgeon who is over an hour and a half hours away (U of Chicago). What a complete and utter failure to resolve and care about my 8 year old son’s condition/issues!! It is ridiculous that we do not have a better option here in Oswego. I would love for them to be a parent of a child with his condition and be told to call his surgeon from over a year ago while he is screaming out in pain. They should be ashamed to work for such a heartless and careless organization! I wish I could rate them as a negative value. DO NOT GO HERE! CHECK OUT THEIR OVERALL RATING, which now makes sense to me. AGAIN, TO ANY AND ALL PARENTS, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!Kimberly Carter⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOne of the best aroundViktor TernopilI broke my arm in new year night my pain was so powerful and they don’t care at all. They where drinking Champaign and laughing and they don’t care that I was screaming in a roomChris FletcherBe careful of this emergency room. I waited so long in the waiting room that I passed a kidney stone while I was waiting three hours for a room. By the time I got a room, they checked my pulse, gave me three prescriptions, and sent me on my way with a $2000 bill. No IV… no emergency services.kelly feterickMy son had a bad case of Pneumonia and strep throat for a week. Last night he rushed himself to the ER because he felt like he was choking. They told him to sit in the waiting area. As he was sitting he began to feel the choking was getting worse. He was very scared. He politely asked the admin at front desk how much longer because it’s getting worse. Police officer demanded him to sit down. My son was shocked with how he was treated. Don’t go there. Find another hospital. Go to Naperville if you have to.BrookeBrought a friend in who was visibly struggling to breathe. Waited over an hour and a half in a dead waiting room all the while coughing and wheezing and when we asked that bitchy blonde receptionist she said “it will be awhile”. called Edward emergency and they said it would be only a 20 minute wait for a room. Don’t waste your time here. Shouldn’t even be called an emergency room if they don’t respond to emergencies. Literally disgusted.Soumya DasHorrible service and they charge huge for nothing.Sol MonarrezPeople will literally die before getting checked in. Horrible ER I ever been to. Rude, slow, and careless workers.michael farley⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFast service real professionals overall a good place to go for helpFAISAL ZAMANIn emergency room waiting for 5 hours??? Really? And you call this emergency wow. Never ever going back to this place ever.Emily GarrityRoom had a used iv needle with blood on the table. They threw it out after I told them and didn’t disinfect the table. The sheets and bed had crust on them “not a stain”. Looks like no one even bothered to clean the room. I got here in the AM as night and morning shift switched, this is disgusting.
