Morgan Jones⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went to the ER on a Friday afternoon with a stabbing pain in my side, as time went on while I was in the ER the pain began to subside. My physician was genuinely concerned for my health and explained why it was important that I continue with the test they were wanting to run even though I was no longer in serious pain. he provided accurate information to me and made me feel comfortable. After a few test it turned out I had an ovarian cyst rupture. The nurses and all of the assistants that were involved were SO KIND from start to finish!!! They even called me the next day after I got out to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. I normally go to St Luke’s but this was an amazing experience and I am so glad I had the staff that I did caring for me. Thank you St. Als!!!DEW izDEW⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI love St. Al’s. Fortunately/Unfortunately I’m a regular there. 1st I’m a severe chronic asthmatic so I used to be in the ER more than I was at home. I also get a shot every 2 weeks to ,now, control my asthma. This will be for life. The people are very personable. Your not a chart #. I’ve stayed in the hospital so many times that at one point all the nurses on one floor knew my name. They are very professional yet extremely friendly. I’ve yet to have a nurse with a bad day!! That’s says a lit..to me anyway. The food is good too with a menu to choose from (unless you have a restrictive diet). I always recommend them.Larry Holmes⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Arrived at St Al’s emergency room with Pacemaker issues. Was led immediately back to an exam room and hooked up to the monitors. Service was great. Labs, x-rays, and ECG were done. They compiled all of the results and were able to send me home within 2 1/2 hours of my arrival. Very professional thorough and competent. Great hospital.Jim Trickett⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went to the emergency room thinking I had food poisoning. The nurses were very polite and accommodating. They took my vitals some blood and urine samples. Dr Wilding came in and examined me and had a nurse put in an IV. Dr wilding came in after the blood and urine had been examined and informed me that I had a possible kidney infection. Dr Wilding prescribed some antibiotics. During the entire process there was constant communication which comforted me. Other than being in an Emergency Room the experience was pleasant. Regards. V J TrickettKathy Stites⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was checked in quickly and saw ER personnel, nurse, doctor, and technician quickly. Everyone was kind, patient, and took time to explain procedures and results of tests. I loved this hospital. They have always treated me with respect and compassion.Rachelle Mooney⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAll the Nurses were Amazing, fun and good bedside manner. They treated me great and not like a number. I love St. ALS. My 1st nurse that got me situated was so great. We learned that our birthdays were close in days, we both liked this Comedian, Josh Blue and she mentioned my favorite musician Post Malone. She was my Soul Sister. I appreciate everything they did for me while being seen Thank you to all that helped me during my visitLillian Jensen⭐️⭐️⭐️Seen quickly. All 6 people were pleasant and helpful. Follow up by phone was comforting. My only disappointment was leaving without a test or confirmed diagnosis. I was treated for back hip and leg pains with inflammation.Minna Ponto⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedVery kind and caring people. Very thorough. I would recommend them. They also have great follow up. The nurse that called may have solved my problem.Rebecca Childress⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedTwo good experiences here, both times were great, I genuinely feel they got us in and out as quickly as they could, medical care was top notch, nurses doctors and staff all went the extra mile. And this is an ER so they dont even have to do that, it could just be care bones care and that would almost be expected, but truly they go above and beyond to provide a good patient experience that is fast, friendly, and professional.Brenda Christiancy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey came and checked on me. Which was nice. Most places you feel like they forgot about you. Very nice and friendly. Thank you for caring St Al’s!Marilyn Owens⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was very satisfied and grateful for the care I received in the St Alphonsus emergency room on Oct 28. I had prompt attention and within an hour my urgent symptoms were mostly relieved. Everyone was kind to my visiting family. The Doctor was excellent and also explained everything. I was very comforted. Helen is the best nurse ever .Lyndsay YoungbloodAbsolutely worst experience in a hospital I have ever had. I waited 2 hours in the waiting room after commuting up blood and the staff that helped me didn’t even know my name by the end of that day. I was in the hospital for 6 hours total and all they did was test my blood and take an X-ray I was switched from room to room and the person who did my IV was very forceful. After all this time they showed know empathy towards my condition and the doctor had told me that there was “nothing wrong with me” and i shouldn’t even be worried. I will not be returning and I will not recommend this hospital to anyone ever again. I am very disappointed And I left with more questions then I came in with.Rachel Garcia⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAbsolutely one of the best hospitals I’ve ever been to. The staff is always very knowledgeable and helpful. Whether it’s an emergency or a regular visit, you will definitely receive the best care here!Becky Patterson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAn anaphylactic allergic reaction to us to the ER late one evening for my daughter. We walked in and as soon as the front desk saw her symptoms they began responding immediately. A wheel chair was brought up to take her back immediately. A team of 4 nurses with all the potential equipment needed to respond effectively to her symptoms and a Dr were in her room before they wheeled her in. The speed and effectiveness in which they cared for her was the best I’ve seen in the many times now we’ve had to visit hospitals for unexpected reactions. In addition to the medical response, each person was kind and patient with us both- especially a scared mom worried about her daughter. I can’t say enough about this hospital and the staff that cares for us both.lesly cook⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHighly educated technicians, staff and medical personnel. Efficient. I don’t want to go back to ER, but if I do, I know I’ll be in caring hands. Thank you, St. Al’s.Tracy LishhassI called and the emergency room and Victoria answered. I asked about whether or not I should come in for something and she laughed at me and said that they don’t give medical advice over the phone. Which is perfectly fine and understandable but her attitude was the real issue. It’s not hard to answer a phone with respect and apologize for the inconvenience as I do in customer service. Growing up in Boise st als has been known for not being the best and I think it is because they do not train and demand their employees to be helpful and kind which is a must when working for the ER.Annie Sparks⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe care was exceptional. Dr Travis Marshall kept us informed about timing of tests and results. Only experience I would change is going home recommendations. I was told to contact specialist Dr in 1-2 days. Upon calling office for appt was informed that Er can not request this must come from Primary care Dr. Now I am playing the editing game.Lynn Hammond⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My care was great. The only thing that made it a 4 star and not a 5 star was I had to wait a long time in waiting room and I was in a lot of pain. Dr. Morris and the nurse were great!Ramin Parwani⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedDr.Marshall and the staff were amazing! It’s not often that you find an actual caring ER treatment. Keep up the great work!Cherie Hammudeh⭐️⭐️⭐️Tina was taken by ambulance from an assisted living facility in Nampa. Family arrived shortly after and was not spoken to for over an hour. We all waited for 3 hours for a doctor to explain why she was there. She was examined and tested for possible stroke. She was never checked on for 3 hrs in the ER bed- no water or IV administered. We understand it was a busy night but if there was no sign of stroke so she could have been released much sooner and the family notified or spoken to at least after her examination.Dija Vezic⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI love my excellent crew that i am working with every night. They show care, integrity knowledge. I thanks everyone of them and especially Cody , register nurse.Lindsey Duncan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went in for severe knee pain and was in and out in less than two hours. Dillan was the man who did my X-ray and he was very respectful and gentle with my leg. All nurses and the doctor visited regularly to see if I needed anything. This is why I always go to Saint Alphonsus. 5 out 5 Thank you!Brittnay West⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI thought the staff did a very fast and efficient job. They listened to what was wrong and took time to listen. I think they did a fabulous job. Keep up the good work.Anna Hurst⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The ER was actually pretty quick. Everyone was super nice and super helpful! Even though they put me on a bed in the hallway, they explained that they’d rather get me back and seen faster than leave me in the waiting room until a room opened up. I really appreciated that.Bev Lively⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe doctors, nurses were fantastic. Care totally met our needs and expectations. They were very busy, our care seem to be at the top of their list. We give them A+, including the Admin desk.Doreen Maxson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff at St. Alfonso’s are the best especially the staff on 5th floor. They were awesome on how they treated me and I will be forever grateful. And the young man who drew my blood is the best and most gentle and professional at what he does thank you from the bottom of my heart.Mario Pagan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My experience was pretty good, respectful, attentive, I didn’t have to wait to long to be seen, and all the people that were involved with my treatment were very nice especially Rebeca (EKG) and the guy of the respiratory therapy (forget his name).jasmines justclean⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFirst off the emergency room was full of patients..so i thought I would be there all day, But to my surprise I only waited about an hour and the taken to ex ray …then seen by a doctor and out of there..with 2 broken bones in my foot, fitted for a very nice snug orthopedic boot and on my way All in 3 hours !!! The staff was hustling around but still managed to be patient kind and professional .Thanks to the wonderful staff at Saint Alphonsus off of curtis in Boise you people are greatRay Seabolt⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedNot completely sure why I had the medical emergency but I certainly glad I was taken to the hospital. Everyone was kind, completely there to take care of me. I don’t really remember what all happened but greatly appreciate everyone that helped.Giniro⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat, compassionate, and quick care. Carol PA was very nice and knowledgeable. Taught me about mixing NSAIDS. Thank youorville hosford⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad to go in to be seen as I was having hard time breathing. They got me right in and did EKG, xray drew blood and had me use nebulizer. My blood pressure was way high so they gave m a pill to help lower and it did. All the staff were very good and their knowledge was very consistent. My visit was very nice and I’m glad they were there for meMike Drury⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe best care I have ever received! Nurses were very friendly and courteous. The PA that I saw explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I was in and out of there quicker than I anticipated. Then, the follow up call the next day, asking how I was doing and if I had any further questions? Great experience!! Thanks St Al’s!!Laurie Boesch⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Overall, St. Als took good care of us. We got right in, they treated us well and we’re very professional. I would have given them 5 stars but waiting time between seeing a doctor and getting treatment seemed to take longer than necessary.Sue Adams⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI love St Als. You have been my go to hospital for over 50 years. I also worked at your facility 20 years ago. After my visit to the emergency I received a call the next day asking how I was doing. That is real customer service. Everyone is always so kind.Les Cannady⭐️⭐️⭐️Went in for chest pain, worried about potential heart trouble. Dr treated me like I was only looking for meds until my tests came back, then he was much nicer. All the nurses where great, the x-ray tech was super friendly.Justin Amyx⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFast, professional, and I felt like all the staff and doctors involved were very helpful. Liked it so much I’m going to try switching insurances to be in the St. Alphonse’s network. There was little to no wait and not only did I get treated fast, I was sent home with all kinds of information on the issue.Kathlene Finch⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was very well taken care of immediately after I was checked in and I will always recommend St Al’s hospital for good service.Justin Whitehead⭐️⭐️Not very happy the staff was really nice but I went in for an ER visit because I sliced my toe open and asked for glue or stitches Was told that I need them instead they decided to just put steri strips on my toe I was told that I would be much happier with the steri strips and now I have a big swollen toe with a wide open wound and I am not much happier. the strips by the way fell off the minute I got into bed and got blood all over my blankets so I basically paid $300 to sit around have a nurse clean my wound and put 2 strips….basically something I could have done at home…Michael Garcia⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWent in the the urgent care clinic for my first kidney stone. They were super cool, they sent me to the Saint Al’s off of Curtis. Everyone at the hospital was super nice and professional. Really cool to talk to. Although I was in tons of pain, I still enjoyed the staff there.T Thornes⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️They should not have sent me home but they were so packed full they were fighting to get intubated patients into rooms. They actually treated me really well. That’s not always the case with having my illnesses. I’ve been left on floor and other horrific things I won’t share in the last 20 years but this time the EMTs were fantastic and everyone at the hospital treated me kind and listened to all I had to say. I’m grateful for such qualified hospital staff this time. They were really great.Beth Cameron⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff immediately began a process to alleviate my physical problem. From the reception to the dismissal, everyone was kind, professional & attentive to my need. I appreciate the care & instruction for my health. Thanks to Dr. Lee & the nurses & specialized attendants.Allyson Layton⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFrom the minute I walked in to the minute I left good team good experience I felt cared about felt their good attitude and made me feel comfortable my whole stay knowledge and therlow I’m impressed with this place thank you for the good experience when I was miserable and scared.Jen FrazierI had lifted a 50lb suitcase the day before traveling here from Seattle and thought I tore a muscle so I went to the ER for level 9 muscle pain in my right arm after visiting urgent care because they didn’t know what was wrong. I’ve been in pain for 5+ hours now and the doctor gives me a muscle relaxer and an anti inflammatory shot in my arm which causes more pain. Im not sure why they wouldn’t give me something for the pain and then treat the muscle but was in pain for the rest of the night. WORST Experience ever! I asked them if they give pain medicine here and they said yes – why not me? They did prescribe more muscle relaxers which didn’t help the pain but instead put me to sleep on Xmas eve. If you are in pain don’t come to this ER because you will suffer.Sue Macartney⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHaving spent the day at ER with heart issues I can say every technician, doctor and nurse were professional, pleasant and even funny. I was quite impressed! Great ER team!Lin MSH⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThank you for taking care of my 96 year young mom. She fell and fractured her arm late Friday night. In the ER, on Sat. morning, you all were professional, thorough and kind to my mother.Nuru ShabaThe place is good but my question is this Why people come there with someone sick to much and you are there witing so long to the a count no 1 want to help and you came with someone sick to muchArourah Cannizzaro⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThis hospital is nothing short of AMAZING. Every time I have stepped foot in there they have always treated me like I was their only patient amongst a full capacity. Craig, a PA in the emergency department is an incredible and knowledgeable man. He eased all my worries and answered any questions I had. He was in my room more than the nurses which was really awesome and he never made me feel like i was a problem or like i was being rushed out. I’ve had both of my babies there and each time I was treated like a queen. I love this hospital and I refer anyone that comes across me to them. EXTREMELY better than St Luke’s in my opinion.Shauna Buttars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat service I was in and out very quickly. The staff were kind and courteous.David Dornbusch⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe were visiting from out of town and I came down with stomach pain and nausea. I wound up at the Saint Alphonsus E R. were I recieved excellent care from the entire medical staff. They couldn’t have been nicer.Susan Gillis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI was in tremendous pain and from the ambulance to my discharge from the ER the staff was tremendously caring and took my issue seriously. The staffs demeanor was professional to the point of having a calming affect on me. They all deserve A+’s with me and I am feeling much better today because of them! Give these folks a big fat raise Lewis Jones⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThey are a great hospital and they care about their patients. They even call the next day to check up on me.Stephanie MartellAbsolutely horrible! They put me in a room with just a chair, gave me one super lame tylenol, then kicked me out into a special waiting room. The only way i received any attention is wen i couldnt breathe so i pulled my mask down. oh no! dont do that there. after that i decided i could be better at my house and started to walk away finally i got my prescription, that couldve been given to me like 20 mins. prior to me trying to leave. so its like if you guys are gonna get paid to take care of people just do it.Denielle AddieThe PA absolutely did not hear or listen to what I had to say about my quadruple layers of pain or what medications I am on I do not think this person has much experience at all. 2 out 3 of the meds she prescribed I could not take!! She prescribed a predisone pack which I am grateful for but with meloxicam and a muscle relaxer. I already have a stronger muscle relaxer which I told her and u cant take Meloxicam with Prednisone it’s a antinflamittory. I told her I was on 800mg of Motrin when i came in and it did not touch my pain I was in the worst pain of my life with joint pain, muscle pain, my neck was screaming with pain and my lower back. I wanted x Ray’s of my neck and I have a bulging disc . I’m not happy with my experiencePatrick Slaughter⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️When I came in to have some pain checked out. Ot don’t take me long to be admitted in the ER. But after that and seeing a doctor and 3 nurses the time seemed like it had taken forever. It seems like I was in there for 3.5 hours waiting on a result I kinda knew about but just wanted to be sure. Next time I’ll deal with the pain at home in a quite place rather in the hospital waiting. Other wise the doctors and nurses were good to deal with.Diana Phillips⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went to Saint Alphonsus RMC emergency last night. I was treated timely, professionally, and in a friendly manner by everyone with whom I came in contact. I was on my way in no time with instructions on how to care for the problem when I left.Chris LobatoWas very dissatisfied with my visit. I couldn’t believe how they talk to you. It was almost as soon as they heard I was unemployed and no insurance. The visit felt like it completely changed after that.kim evansIt was a awe full experience. My doctor phoned and faxed ahead I was coming. We where told a cardiac team would be there to care for me. I explained 3 times to 3 different staff that my doctor sent me. I was told 3 times I was there for chest congestion. I handed them my ekg and chest exray. The only person to check on me the first two hours was the registration person . My vitals where all over the place instead of checking on me they pushed a button to silence the machine. When I asked if they could change the finger thing that was monitored me the told me to be still. It is a good thing I new the machine was malfunctioning. It was so sad they cared so little about what was going on. I hope they show more to future patients. It should be less than one starKayla yay⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedCame in because some unfortunate things happend after a first date.cops came and the docyor i saw and nurses where incredible and comforting. Thank uou for helping me in such a sensitive situationhussein alazzawy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedReally helpful professional people. They did right and sent me home happy. And called me twice the next day to make sure that I’m doing fine. I’m glad I went to saint Alphonsus.Elaine Depauw⭐️⭐️⭐️Staff was friendly. I was given a gown that wasn’t very clean smelling. I wasn’t offered a blanket until the third nurse who came in the room to shut off some noisy machine finally asked me if I wanted one. The one I was given had a big stain on it. Yuk! I was left in the room alone most of the time. For a big expensive hospital, I felt like it was third class.Nabil KaaliI talked to a resource nurse who was so rude, she actually started yelling at me at the end of the call, simply because I asked if a preauth letter was sent to my insurance company. Worst hospital!Jenna McCarthy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedOne of the quickest ER visits I have had. Dr Shane was great, never condescending.Brianah Rose⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe staff was incredible, took some time to be seen however they were very busy the night I went in and had critical patients need immediate attention. When they got to me they where prompt and relieved my pain as well as helped guide me to those who could assess my problem further (new to the area). If I was in need of medical attention I would return to Saint Alphonsus without a second thought.Shari Ertle⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI, my daughter and Grandson are all sick, we have fluid behind our eardrums and the baby has the infection from A terrible flu and fever. We were signed in, checked out and sent back to see the Dr within minutes!! The entire staff is Fantastic!!! So Professional and Personable!! I will never go to any other facility!!!Matt MillerI came in with stroke like symptoms. The entire right side of my face was sagging and numb. I sat in the waiting room for an hour and 45 minutes and watched two people immediately walk in and go back. I feel as if they did not give a care about whether I was okay or not. I would recommend going to st luke’s downtown. I’m a student at Boise State and from the next 3 years of school will not be going to St AlphonsusAaron Jones⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️For a ER visit things went as smoothly as possible I think, especially for a 3am visit. Staff was happy friendly and did their best to keep the status of what was going on as best as they could. Things were clean and everyone followed protocol for hygiene. If I had to point out something to change it would be the quality of the TV reception. In the grand scheme of things it really isn’t important but when you’re stuck at the ER for hours and hours the small things can definitely help your situation/mood.Victoria Gentleman⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedI went to your emergency dept because I was quite concerned thinking I might have a blood clot. Everyone from front desk to nurses registration ultrasound tech and PA were fast efficient and awesome. So glad I chose ALS over Lukes and I work across the street from Luke’s. Also they got me in, out and that is truly the fastest I have ever been in any emergency dept. Thank you.Neele Johnston⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat emergency response. Very competent medical staff.Jake Hall⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat staff and was very well taken care of. Professional environment and felt genuine concern from the nurses and doctor.Grace Simonson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedSince 2018, there has never been a better place for all my hospital and emergency needs. They are very thorough, and get their jobs done quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much St Al’s teams.Kriss Oliver⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat staff on hand of nurses and female Dr. Miller i believe is her name was great.Melissa Williams⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedThe people at St Al’s ER in Boise were amazing on Saturday. They were kind, compassionate, and patient with me. They took the time to answer my questions, listened to my concerns, and let me be part of coming up with a treatment plan. I was shown total respect.Dick Jordan⭐️⭐️To Whom It May Concern, I was very disappointed with my visit to St. Al’s ER on September 25, 2019.. But first I n a positive note, the staff was friendly & professional. 1. It took over 3 hours for a 15 minute procedure. I know my cut wasn’t life threatening & there were others in line but I could have certainly been processed much faster at the ‘doc in a box’ but I had no choice because it was late. However when it came to taking my money, speed wasn’t a problem. 2. I had to hold a towel on my neck wound for well over an hour to stop the bleeding when a quick compress & tape would have solved the problem and bought them time before the PA could see me. This would have greatly reducing the pain in my arm from holding the towel up to my n
