Saint Francis Hospital Reviews

Before you go to Saint Francis Hospital, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Hartford emergency room think.

jude connick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedHad the best care here for my sister’s possible stroke. Expedient, caring, thorough, intelligent processes. Thank you, Michael, for your compassionate care and amazing efficiency. You will be our go-to for any future emergencies.God bless!Steve Adams My mom has been here 2x in the last two weeks, same issue…. ER doctor doing orderly work, not enough staff, overstressed nurses, faulty equipment…. I’m not real comfortable with this place…..A G Not worth the risk if you are actually having a medical emergency, I’ve never seen such an unprofessional ER. Unfortunately not only were nurses incompetent and in serious need of some bed side hospitality lessons but the doctors also did not show the level of knowledge you would expect from a doctor. I had to to go to a different er to find out I had the flu. On the plus side I didn’t have to wait for long because nobody was there.Jason Trantalis⭐️⭐️Aside from being slow the service here was good. The real problem is the cost. It was $2,500+ just to walk into the ER and another $2,400+ for the cat scan I needed. Way higher than the average hospital.Jessalene Epps By far the worst ER experience ever ‼️ Disgusting Patient care young black women with chronic/ severe pain avoid this hospital you will NOT be properly cared for you will be called a liar and sent home while also being lied to by Drs about your condition ‼️Joyce Baranski In my 57 years this is the worst hospital I’ve ever been to I was I was sent by ambulance to this hospital if I had any idea how bad it was I would have gone an extra hour just to get to another hospital staff looks miserable and treat you horriblyKeven Elwood⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedQuickly processed me in. Then just as quickly fixed me up. The hospital was clean and orderly.Jose Rosas I went in there when I had an elbow injury after skating they had me waiting over 3 to 4 hours they completely forgot that I was there and when they called me into the back after I complained that I was waiting there for a long time they had me waiting another hour and when they came to check me out they did the very least possible after evaluating me it seem like the doctor didn’t know what he was doing he told me both my elbows We’re not dislocated when I clearly dislocated them My elbows were showing signs of swelling and I was in serious pain not only did he not aknowledge me for everything I was telling him but also gave me a very weak prescription for pain when I was in extreme pain I felt like they were not listening to me I didn’t get evaluated correctly after waiting so long and they did the lease possible to help me then a nurse of all things Was talking back given me and attitude unfortunately that’s not the only bad moment I’ve had going to St. Francis Hospital emergency room I had another occasion where I went in there because I had an ingrown hair on the top of my had a huge bump that needed to be removed it’s a cyst in my head they had me waiting over for five hours again but by the time the doctor came to me to help they told me they couldn’t do anything for me they had to recommend me to a specialist after me waiting five hours they should’ve just clearly have someone pull me to the room evaluate the bump and tell me to go on my way if they couldn’t help they told me they’re only there to help people the been shot or have a serious emergency. I went in there because I was extremely concerned by the size of the bumb on my head but they refused to treat me. The staff was incredibly rude and if I get into any other emergency’s that would be last place I go to. I would also never recommend anyone to go there.Adelaida chavez rodriguez I went there, pay and THEY DID NOTHING. Just blood work. No prescription, no exam, nothing. I never saw a doctor, just a PA. Thank you for nothing.Jazmin Vazquez⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFriendly. I love themChristina Ramirez⭐️⭐️⭐️Not the best nor is it the worse hospital around but after going there for a broken arm I’ll be sure to pick another hospital.Sonia Ivete Laureano⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedBest and quick careD T Still sitting here after a day now. No answers or results. Asked for help 3 times no response. Attitude from some staff and inappropriate jokes during overnight I felt uncomfortable. I want to leave now.S. M. Terrible ER experience. I went to the ER because my jaw/chin area swelled up three times its normal size. It was extremely painful. The ER then sent me to the hospital dentist. The hospital dentist did not know what to do so he sent me back to the emergency room. The emergency department staff left me on a cot in the hallway, in severe pain and the swelling was getting worse, spreading down to my neck and chest. They had only done a ct scan and bloodwork, but couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Finally, after 15 hours of sitting around in this emergency room hallway, still no answers, and I felt forgotten about. I finally started to walk out and told them I was done waiting around and I would take my own IV out at home. Then finally that got their attention and they gave me discharge papers. The doctor gave me a prescription for antibiotics (even though there was absolutely no sign of infection) and a script for CVS brand lemon cough drops!!! The next day I was able to get a proper diagnosis elsewhere. I had a case of lymph edema. Finally started feeling better with proper medical attention. 15 hours of suffering and feeling worse and worse in the st Francis ER. A prescription for cough drops and a non existent infection!!Heather Lemieux Was there for 8 hours and wasn’t offered a blanket, pillow, socks or even water. My dr even put in orders before I got there for my treatment and admissions. Dr put in admission at 10pm to be admitted to obstetrics didn’t get into a room until 230am and they had plenty of open rooms. One of many reasons the ER dept is backed into and always out of rooms. I had to request pain meds that dr put in cause nurse never gave them or checked on me. They also left bloody pad and swabs from a procedure in the room – not sanitary. Not to mention the sick puking people they have sitting in the halls just asking to spread germs.. I do not recommend this ER for anything… go anywhere else but here.Tracey Renee Fernandes Came in with a headache and high blood pressure 3 hours still waiting staff is rude as f@@ck and lazy. I work in healthcare if we treated people like this we would be fired…Havent changed a bit in 20 something years thats why people hate this hospital…ryan case⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedFriendly and patient staff. They have a walk-in area which takes care of most minor problems quicklyMaria F Worst emergency room experience!!!!!
