Saint Luke’s North Hospital – Barry Road Reviews

Before you go to Saint Luke’s North Hospital – Barry Road, you may want to know what the people who have already gone to this Kansas City emergency room think.

Robert Glasscock Pretty much only go here if you’re dying and can’t get to the other ER’s in the area. Got massively overpriced services, and defend their pricing behind a blanket statement of “Emergency rooms are more expensive” I’m paying our $10K bill for running a radiological test they didn’t even do the reading on, which told them my wife should “wait it out” and then I’m never going here again. I honestly hope they don’t kill anyone because they have to choose between all they own and a damn test.Kenneth Broermann⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedWe are new to NKC, and so happy with this ER. It’s clean, the staff was kind, and we were in and out within and hour. Definitely recommend coming here for ER services.Heather Pankau I just took my mom here. As we got here. My mom was in pain and so tired. She really wanted me to come back with her. She asked the people twice if I could be back there with her. Of course not. The lady told me rudely I had to be in the waiting room. All my experience of emergency rooms they have always let family back with them. But, not this place. And the receptionist gave me a dirty look the whole time I was waiting. So I left. All the people there were not nice at all seemed like. Honestly if it was me I’d want my family back with me cause I’m scared of needles and doctor stuff ect… If I could give this -0 stars I would! So disgusted and disappointed and feel bad for my mom having to go alone when she wanted me with her. All the years I’ve been living. WORST HOSPITAL EVER. No offense.Jordan Laine Worst experience ever. I’ve been actively vomiting in in the ER waiting room for three hours. (Edit: took four hours to be seen. Staff was nice though.)Amy Baker I was referred to the ER from the military. Drove 45 minutes to get here. My doctor told me that I have an abscess that needs to be treated right away and could be life threatening. They sent me here because there is an EENT doctor here until 4 pm.. of course it has been well over two hours and it is past 4 PM. I am in pain and cannot swallow and am having a hard time breathing, but the rude recetptionist told me she can’t say how long it will be because it is not first come first serve. I am very well aware if this since I was a Health Care Administor in the Army for 20 years. What I do know, is that patient care needs to be the priority. They are very quick to collect your billing information then they disappear. This is disgusting and I will be taking this matter to the Hospital Commander at Munson Army Health Center so they do not refer soldiers here in the future. This is literally the worst experience I have ever had.Rachel Orourke Usually this hospital is great. Tonight my husband has been in the waiting room for 5 1/2 hours. That is ABSURD. And no one cares. This is the most frustrating night ever. If you want good emergency care, don’t come here.Amanda Gilbert Worst er I have ever been to….Laura Corcoran WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DON’T EVER GO THERE!!!!Tammy Hoag⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedGreat careKevin Rex⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅ ER RecommendedAwesome
